Very pleased with this great quality sturdy treadmill easy to set up and use. Very easy to store standing up with assisted help on the lift and slow drop down.
Been using this for a few weeks and absolutely love it! Easy enough to move about and when using Kinomap on the TV it is a great experience.
Value for money.
First thing to say is the 4 add on unpack service is a no-brainer. This thing is heavy. We struggled a little with the 2 lads and me helping so how you carry this into around your house on your own I do not know.
Secondly the treadmill itself is great. I don’t have a lot of ‘at home treadmill’ experience but this has avery sturdy & quality feel to it, doesn’t make a creek or anything going up through the speeds and inclines, and I weigh 90kg so this was my main concern.
Holding it back from the perfect rating is the usb-ness. I have found it is a bit shaky for charging and when we had a speaker connected the screen kept dimming. Oh, and the label on the top was terrible and the ones down the side just fell off completely. The only good thing was they were so unsticky they didn’t leave a residue. I did email JLL but they basically told me to get lost.
It was next day delivery with amazon prime, we paid extra for the assembly, the 2 guys – Robert Echim and and Ross Miney who delivered this product – assembled the treadmill very professionally and quickly. They removed and disposed all packaging. What I’m not entirely happy with is that on some parts on the item has damages. It seems that the package did not protect the goods perfectly or was not stored properly, which caused some damages to the goods. But the treadmill works perfectly, it’s wide enough and it’s easy to fold. I like amazon services, they provide full service, always good experience with them.
Great quality, so easy to use and to fold up and down. I’ve used it most days, the incline feature is particularly useful, not all folding treadmills incline so high. There are lots of fantastic extra features but easy to use straight from the box. Highly recommend!
I thought I was a decent runner (managed a few marathons etc)…until I got this treadmill!
This is a beast!
I tried the programs – beginner walk, which had me jogging but managed it ok, then the beginner sprints, which had me flying off the back of the treadmill…beginner sprints go to 16 km/h, being British I had no idea really how fast that is – it’s fast! I soon learnt the only way I can do these beginner programs is by turning the higher speeds down a bit! I’ll work on it, you never know miracles may happen!
Pros:
Nice big running area, sturdy and solid.
Good pre-programmed workouts and the ability to make your own.
Smooth changing between speeds and inclines.
Works with Kinomap.
Easy to lift the footbed up to create a little more space.
Cons:
Heavy, and I mean heavy (which is also good for feeling safe when going for it). It does have wheels but for things like getting up stairs – forget it. It took 3 of us to get it up 4 steps outside my house and so it lives in the living room!
The holder slips backwards when heavily pounding (oh, I mean running fast!) and my Ipad is on there, so I have had to fashion a wire support from a coathanger to stop me having to quickly grab my Ipad when it starts to slip a bit too far back.
No way to change to miles per hour, stuck with km.
Conclusion:
Very pleased I bought this treadmill and recommend it. Be prepared to sweat!
Main advantages were the wider belt which makes staying on it much easier especially when the pace goes up. This goes up to 12% incline and 20Km/h so easily enough for experienced road and fell runners. The inbuilt programs are well designed and fully automatic.
The build quality is excellent, it is sturdy and has good cushioning. After hammering away on it for half an hour, I rang my neighbour to see if his ornaments were still on his shelves and he’d not heard or felt anything. I live in a mid terraced stone cottage.
It’s very heavy and took two is us just to take the already assembled base and motor upstairs. All you have to attach are the side supports, arms and console. Very easy and all the tools and fittings are supplied and well organised with easy to follow instructions.
The info on the console is easy to read with easy to reach controls. The only thing I had to contact JLL about was how to display calories on the display. One display is supposed to scroll between speed and calories during a workout. It stays on speed until you press the ‘start’ button again. After showing calories burned it goes back to displaying speed until you press the start button again.
It’s quiet too and folds up so it doesn’t take up too much room.
I’m a big believer in ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ but I know already I wont need to look at any others. This does the job perfectly.
