I used the hedge trimmer for the first time a couple of days ago, I’m so pleased with it, it does exactly as described.

Managed all the hedging including conifers, however only used once hope it lasts a few years. Hedges get cut two times per year, should last five years hopefully.

I bought this to replace a battery operated hedge-clipper from another manufacturer that had given good service over many years, but whose rechargeable batteries were now storing less and less charge.
With regards to weight, I think the new clipper is slightly heavier than the old one, but then the batteries were lighter, so overall there was no real noticeable change.
A major factor in this purchase was the fact that it came complete with two batteries and a recharger.
I was pleased to see that the charger had a red and green light to indicate when the charge was complete, my old one lacked that feature, and you had to pretty much guess how well it charged by the time you left it in. So that was a major plus.
I had a couple of hesitant tests to slide the batteries into the charger, and on to the clipper, but happily found it easy to do.
On the safety side, this clipper has an extra safety feature that my old one lacked. Whilst my previous clipper would not function until you had both hands on the machine, and well away from the moving parts, this clipper has an addition button that must be compressed by your hand the holds the trigger. Initially, I had to get used to it, but soon found it did not cause me any difficulty, and it reinforces safety, as you cannot operate the clipper unless both hands are safely on it.
After delivery, I put the batteries on charge, and was pleased to find they went from red, (charging), to green (ready). Within 20 minutes, although whether there was an initial charge in the batteries I could not say.
Operationally, I found it very effective, a far better cutter, (the blades being new), and after cutting two decent sized hedges, found I still had plenty of charge left in the first battery, and I did not need to use the second.
The only slight drawback was the sheathe that covers the blades. My old one was quite rigid, and easily slid over the blades, this one is slightly more flexible, and requires a little more jiggling to get it on.
Overall, very happy with my purchase, and I hope to get as many years out of it as my old one.
If you are looking for a cordless clipper with two batteries, and no hassle, I am happy to recommend this to you.

Extremely light in the hand when in use and that is ideal. Charged the two batteries and used one for 15 minutes solid with power left, I’d also say the blades are very sharp as there is no ragged edges on the cut privet hedge.

Used for trimming hedges and the 20” blade gives that extra length without having to stretch. Battery lasts for ages and you get two. You can’t go wrong with this trimmer, highly recommended from me*****

Cordless and lightweight can get in places that usually are left untended

Bought for ease really. I kept (accidentally) cutting through the wire of the previous one. The battery lasts so long. Really easy to use. The cover for it is cheap and tricky to put back on and the guard at the end keeps getting stuck in the hedge. Definitely worth the price. Super happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHorses for courses. I’ve got a petrol hedge trimmer, that is powerful and will cut through anything, but for the majority of the time, I’m just wanting to pick something up and give a maintenance trim.
That’s reason for getting this, no more messing about with having to mix two stroke fuel, just pick it up and go.
Quieter than I expected and with a bigger cut than I’d hoped for. You can’t complain with 14mm
Good that you get two batteries with it but in saying that, I haven’t run out of charge on a job yet (but a backup battery is nice)
I think the winner for me though, is the double safety feature before you can use it, the number of times I find myself holding the blades.

    Lightweight and portable

Having cut thought the cord of yet another hedge trimmer I’ve decided to try and go cordless. I tired one many moons ago but didn’t have much success.

Well., I wish I had of tried cutting the cord earlier, There really isn’t any extra weight over my old mains powered one. Handle feels nice and ergonomic.

Each battery lasts about 30 mins , which you get two of. I was tossing between this and a branded version but that only had one battery. I don’t think I could have coped with one battery. It means I can have one on charge and one in use. I’ve found that if you empty one and put it on charge, you get a fair whack of power by the time you drain the second battery.

The bar is nice and strong and it cuts my hedges without any problems.

Really nice touch having a chain break, I’ve got these on all of my chainsaw’s but never thought about it on hedge trimmer but they do buck a little so makes a lot of sense.

Very decent, might not be the cheapest on amazon but well worth every penny.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA budget friendly cordless hedge trimmer which can cut 10mm branches easily. At 2.6kg (with battery) I can work with on ladder with ease, battery fully charged around 1h and lasted around 25 minutes non stop. Comes with 2x lithium 20V batteries so you can swap over when one is empty.

Nice grip for both left and right handed person, 2 safety switch at each handle bar with nice click when pressed down. The blade is nice and sharp and it should stay that way unless I accidently cut stones by mistake.

It is a no frills hedge trimmer which comes with 2 batteries and charger, I wish there is a battery indicator to tell how much battery will last etc. Other than that it works as it should out of the box.

Easy to handle, cut up to 10mm thick branch easily

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m not a big gardener, wanted something lightweight nothing special, just get the job done.

This purchase was a replacement for my previous one as we had lost the charger. Once charged up – Easy to use for trimming the hedges and branches around the garden. it is cordless and there are no worries about accidents Involving cutting wires and getting a shock, anyone can use this. Fact it comes with dual battery helps for longer runs of garden works

Overall a great purchase and highly recommended
