These knee pads are not bad. I got them for my daughter to use with her scooter. They aren’t that hard on the knees but give good protection for average use. They fit well but do slip down a bit with time.
These knee pads were a little difficult to put on but I found that they were good in helping prevent my knees from getting sore when gardening. I’m not sure how good they would be for sports, etc., but I’m happy with them.
I’ve been doing some home decorating recently and these padded knee pads have been a great help. We have laminating flooring on top of a stone floor and painting the skirting board is usually hard on the knees until I started using these.
As well as using them for kneeling when decorating, I’ve used them outside whilst doing some gardening and they have been good for that as well.
The knee pads are secured by 2 velcro straps, one above and one below the knee. The padding is thick but not thick enough to make them rigid. I had them on for various times, from half an hour to 2-3 hours, wearing them over a pair of jeans. They needed a little adjustment sometimes after a while, but I found them to be mostly stable when secure properly on my legs.
I’m planning on laying some new laminated flooring in a bedroom later in the year and I’m glad that I have these to help with the kneeling.

Got these for samba drumming – playing a big surdo drum. Knees can end up rather bruised without protection. Hard shell knee pads are not ideal as the drum rolls around them. These are a good design and great for the group’s purposes as one size fits all (although a little large looking on me at 5ft 3 and slim build). They were secure and comfortable nonetheless and would be great for parading as there was no slippage, having two fastenings. The knee can still move freely as well. Seems well made and hopefully long lasting.
