works just fine really but i think it need a tougher cutting cord.

Had two of these now – first replaced very quickly through Amazon due to fault. That aside this strimmer has good battery life and is light and easy to manoeuvre. One small complaint is that the replacement has a stiffer trigger so harder to hold in one hand for long periods. All said though, it’s very good.

I replaced a trimmer from Homebase with this unit. The battery was slimmer and lighter than my old trimmer. The new trimmer is also more powerful and cuts in a wider area. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Not effective for cutting trees down or fence posts but great at gutting weeds and grass down from around the edges of my lawn. Standard size weeds and grass (not tried on triffids) battery lasts very well and quick to charge. I have the same company make of lawn mower and turns out the larger battery also fits the strimmer. No change in power didn’t cause me to take off. Light wieght and far easier to use than my old petrol Strimmer. Has a set of handy wheels on it much to the delight of my kids.

I have 3 lawns so was initially unsure if battery would last – it does and with enough margin for fourth. Its so easy to push and it picks up all the clippings. In fact I use it to sweep up the small leaves left behind after you have clipped your hedges. The cut is good and the collection box is good for an average lawn. It has a balanced carry handle for carrying and lifting up steps. Its not too heavy. It has a safety switch so cant be switched on accidently, and an on off removeable key, plus you can easily unplug batteries without removing them from mower as another safety option. My only gripe is that I wish I could easily fit the grass box between through the handles when attaching/removing it. I have to swing it round the handles – but this is a minot gripe and one for the developers to consider for the mk2.

Good product which does the job. Useful set of wheels included which saves having to bear the weight of the product continuously. Well worth wearing ear protection as recommended as quite noisy. Just as importantly, advisable to wear eye protection as machine can spit tiny fragments up to face level. Altogether no grumbles.
