Great chair love it would buy again if I had the room it looks intimidating to assemble but after you get all the parts out it’s pretty self explanatory the directions should be more clear for some people!! The only part I had a issue with was the swing itself putting in one screw it wasn’t lining up right but after Messi g with it for a while I got it with the help of my neighbors
Works well! Got it a few weeks back and so far, used it every night, and am happy with it. It is not too thin and not too heavy. Easy to lift, put on and fold away for the day. Since we didn’t have winds to stress test the cover, not sure on durability. Rain wise – also haven’t really had many rains, however after a few that we had, the chair was dry.

Test & Fazit:
Die Abdeckung passt sehr gut auf meinen Hngesessel. Das Lftungsfenster ist ein Vorteil damit unter dem Sessel alles belftet ist. Die Abdeckung hat jetzt in den letzten Tagen meinen Sessel zuverlssig vor Wasser geschtzt. Wir hatten da einige Unwetter, die Abdeckung hat gehalten und im inneren war nach wie vor alles trocken. Ich habe die Kordeln am unteren Ende noch mal nachgezogen. Ich hoffe das Material reit nicht ein, es ist wie bereits erwhnt eher dnn. Sollte ich feststellen das das Material reit dann werde ich die Bewertung nachtrglich ndern.
Aktuell kann ich fr die Abdeckung gute 4 vergeben.

Die Abdeckung fr Hngesessel wird gut gefaltet und kompakt geliefert.
Er lsst sich schnell entfalten und dank des Reiverschlusses gut ber den Hngesessel legen.
Leider ist das Zugband nicht optimal, hier muss man stndig nachziehen, da sich eine dicke Wulst bildet, die nicht nachrckt und somit nicht nach unten hin verschliet.
Das Material ist ebenfalls sehr dnn und hat bei uns nach dem starken Wind – durch Umfallen des Sessels – bereits einige Lcher.
Die Gre und der Reiverschluss sind super. Das Anbringen einfach und die Idee gut.
Insgesamt ein guter, aber nicht perfekter Schutz. Das Material darf gern krftiger sein und das Zugband ebenfalls.
The cover is a great size and water resistant and I think it will last a good while. The zipper was already pulling apart when closed. The strings won’t last long, very thin. I would still recommend this item for the price.
Die Abdeckung passt perfekt auf meinen Hngesessel (XXLutz).
Die Abdeckung kann kinderleicht einfach ber den Stuhl gezogen werden. Bis alles sitzt dauert es nicht mal 60 Sekunden.
Die Abdeckung lsst den Stuhl vollkommen trocken, auch bei starkem Regen.
Ich kann sogar das Kissen auf dem Stuhl lassen, weil es nicht nass wird. Fantastisch.
Empfehle ich jedem, der seinen Hngesessel plus Kissen nicht im Regen stehen lassen will, aber auch nicht jedes Mal abbauen bzw. unter ein Dach zerren mchte.
Wenn man die Hlle nicht verwendet, lsst sie sich sehr einfach klein zusammenfalten. Die mitgelieferte Verpackung ist wiederverwendbar.
Die Hlle schtzt brigens auch vor UV-Strahlen (vor Ausbleichen/Verfrbung).

Although this is marketed to hanging egg chairs, I got this for my standing egg chair and it covers well. Can wrap it right under the feet to make sure it’s completely covered which is great!
It has a zip to make it easy to get on and off.
The material is quite lightweight compared to other outdoor furniture covers I have but will do for over the summer to keep the showers off

This item arrived safe and well packaged. This cover fits perfectly over my hanging egg chair. It will be incredibly vulnerable during the winter months. This is very durable and hard black fabric, with good stitches. The zip is fully covered. The toggle and string at the bottom tighten up to secure your seat and keep it in the best condition! Es ist sehr gut verarbeitet und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Die Schutzhlle passt super ber die schaukel. Bin zufriede
Genaues kann man natrlich erst nach 2-3 Winter sagen, allerdings macht die Schutzhlle, welche wir fr unseren Rattan Hngesessel bestellt haben zuerst einmal einen guten Eindruck.
Die Hlle ist gut verarbeitet und lsst sich auch sehr problemlos und einfach um den Sessel packen. Der erste Hrtetest haben wir direkt mit dem Wasserschlauch versucht (was zugegeben etwas anwendungsfremd ist) und trotzdem ist der Sessel prima trocken geblieben.
Bisher also alles gut und gefllt uns.

Die schwarze Schutzhlle fr den Hngesessel ist 115cm lang und hat einen Durchmesser von 190cm.
Die Abdeckung ist wasserdicht und aus hochwertigem Oxford-Gewebe.
Die innere Silberbeschichtung blockiert ca. 98% der UV-Strahlen, wodurch der Hngesessel weniger verblasst und das Material lnger schn bleibt.
Schtz vor Klte, Hitze und regen gut verarbeitet und der Reiverschluss erleichtert das aufziehen und abnehmen. 2 Kordeln zum zusammen ziehen unter dem Sessel sind vorhanden. Schmutz und wasserabweisend! Einfach zu reinigen aber in die kleine Aufbewahrungstasche passt es nach einmaligen ffnen nicht mehr rein. ;-)..
A lightweight material that comes in its own pouch. Has a zip along one side and a drawstring all around the base.
Easy to fit, light enough to handle without issue and so far appears to be completely waterproof. Not cheap woven nylon that degrades in sunlight so should last a few seasons.
This egg chair cover was easy to fit around the chair and it does it’s job well, keeping the chair and cushions dry even in the very heavy rain. Its not an exact fit around the chair as the size is universal. The waterproof fabric seems good quality and will hopefully last a good length of time.
Delighted with this as it has seen a few weather changes since I got it. It fits the egg chair perfectly and fastens with a draw string chord around the bottom of it. This makes it a good solid fit that doesn’t flap about or blow off. Great waterproof cover as the chair has stayed perfectly dry no matter how many times it has rained. Great protection from sun too as it should help stop it fading when not in use.
Ab Mai lassen wir unseren Hngesessel gern bis in den Herbst drauen hngen und da ist ein guter Wetterschutz natrlich besonders wichtig, um die Materialien der Schaukel zu schonen. Diese Schutzhlle kommt schmal verpackt in einer kleinen Tasche und lsst sich sehr schnell ber den Hngesessel ausbreiten.
Das Material knnte noch etwas robuster sein, aber bislang hlt es Regen zuverlssig ab und sorgt darunter fr ausreichend Luftzirkulation.
Vom Design knnte die Hlle etwas hbscher sein, aber darauf kommt es eigentlich nicht an. Deshalb knnen wir sehr zufrieden sein und geben 4 Sterne mit einer Kaufempfehlung.
Thrilled to be asked to review this because I had just got an egg chair and wanted a cover to protect it from sun bleaching, bird poo etc.
Firstly, it has a silver thermal lining so I suspect I will be able to unzip it and use the chair with the cover in situ on windier or super sunny days as shelter.
It’s big and covers my chair perfectly. It has a drawstring to hold it secure. I will still dismantle mine in the winter, or I may just sit it in the conservatory. I find these sort of covers don’t withstand severe winter storms.
The material standard fair, quite a thin material but does seem to be strong enough. I pile I’ve liked thicker for protection but that’s a very minor issue . Definitely looks like it would do the job. This is handy for storage as the thin material means it does fold down really small.
The drawstring isn’t great, and doesn’t really hold very well. A minor issue really. Nothing has blown off yet but we have had decent weather since it arrived. Fingers crossed.
It does keep the seat dry, which is the main use really so for that it’s excellent. We have had a lot of rain and nothing has got through yet. Very good in that regards.
We have a 2 seated egg chair and unfortunately this egg chair cover is too small for it, so I am not able to zip up all the way. The material of the cover is light weight, waterproof. It seems to be quite thin. It has the drawstring at the bottom of the cover to hold it in place.
Overall, I think it is a nice egg chair cover, we are still using it, just not zipping it up totally. it does give a good protection to the egg chair, and help to keep the seat cushions dry.

With mesh air vents placed at the bottom of the chair cover, this allows ventilation, and the internal air can be circulated to prevent moisture and mould from growing inside the chair. In addition, it is double stitched with a waterproof tape which is resistant to tearing and prevents water penetration. There is a storage bag included which is made from the same material with the brand name across the front in white writing.
When not in use, it is very easy to clean, just wipe it with soft cloth or rinse with water and let it dry under the sun. The zipper also has a waterproof design for easy installation and removal and the drawstring is designed to adjust it to different sizes to fit various chairs.
Despite all good features of the product, it doesn’t look as nice as the posted pictures on the listing. It is a bit crumpled and looks messy, but I am hoping that over time once it has been used and stretched out it will look better. It does however protect my egg chair in the garden from any weather damage. Our egg chair is so big and doesn’t fit in out shed as we have so many other things in there so this is still very useful for us.
Overall, this is a good item to have if you have an egg chair which is kept outside throughout the year as it protects well and is priced reasonably.
Practical effective high quality durable cover which fits my rattan egg perfectly with reliable coverage as we do get our fair share of bad weather here. Im particularly impressed with its waterproof ability & also ive not come across a zipped version before which this does help it to stay on better.

Die Schutzhlle ist einfach meiner Meinung nach super. Ein Reiverschluss vereinfacht die Arbeit um den gewnschten Gegenstand vor Regen,Staub und sonstigen Umwelteinflssen zu schtzen.( man kann wenn man mchte um ganz sicher gehen,dass der Reiverschluss nicht aufgeht eine zustzliche Klemme Wscheklammer benutzen.) Die Hlle ist sogar finde ich sogar so zu benutzen, ohne dass man sie einpacken bzw wegpacken muss. Eine Lftung im unteren Bereich hinten ist auch vorhanden fr die Luftzirkulation.Sie macht augenscheinlich einen sehr robusten und stabilen Eindruck. Die Zeit wird es natrlich zeigen von wegen der Haltbarkeit. Ehrlich gesagt Vergleiche zu anderen Produkten dieser Art kann ich leider nicht beurteilen, da es meine erste Schutzhlle fr unseren Hngesessel ist. Wrde sagen im Allgemeinen nur zu empfehlen.
Does the job, so far. It’s very light weight, but secures well. Not sure the zip will last long in strong winds, but so far, so good.

Purchased this for a swivel cocoon chair and I must say it worked brilliantly. It’s pull cord at the base is good it tucks underneath. The height and depth are really good for this chair.

This is absolute perfect cover to protect my egg chair from the English weather. Made of very strong and durable fabric. It has a zip, covers it properly. Now my egg chair is safe from the rain and should prolong its life by few years.

Fits our Lidl egg chair perfectly and would be 5stars if the string wasn’t 10 times longer than needed and the material is a little lightweight so I will be interested to see how long it lasts!
A black egg chair cover, Material feels strong and fits the chair well there are ties at the bottom to tie it up together and make it more secure. goes over the chair perfectly and with no struggle, chair is well protected in a downfall, material is lovely and water proof.

Die Abdeckung kommt relativ kompakt gefaltet bei uns an und passt optimal auf den Hngesessel. Das Material ist sehr robust und an der Oberseite befindet sich eine groe Lftungsffnung. Ich kann jedem diese Abdeckung wrmstens empfehlen.
This arrived well packaged in an easy to open zipped bag.
The cover fits easily over the frame and chair, and the zip makes it easier to access inside the covered chair for easy cushion storage. My kids also like hiding in their as a secret den!

This is good size cover which will accommodate most Egg Chairs.
The cover was easy to put on our Egg Chair prior to positioning it in the garden, the cover is waterproof and using the zip and draw strings it was simple enough to cover the chair securely.
It comes in a handy zip close bag for storage and has a silver coating on the inside of the fabric. We’ve had no issues with any of the fastenings, but they are not particularly robust so a little care needs to be taken when deploying the cover.
I expected it to be a little more robust although it does look like it will last providing it isn’t subjected to rough handling or really adverse conditions for extended periods.
Overall for the price it’s a decent enough cover which will fit most egg chairs.

I really liked this waterproof cover for our egg chair. Fit neatly over the top and was long enough so that no rain could get anywhere near the cushion.
At the bottom of the cover there’s a couple of pull cords with toggles. It’s a bit of a faff to pull them tight, so I just did what I could, which left a long cord dangling. Meant to go out and sort it but clearly didn’t have it on tight enough as a couple of days later after some strong wind it had vanished, assume a gust of wind has caught it and one of our neighbours is scratching their head wondering what this large black waterproof cover is, and why it’s in their garden.
As I put my chair away in Winter, I only need a cover for the summer months for those showers and dew.
So I am not concerned so much about the durability as it won’t be tested in extreme conditions. I expect to get two years (summer use) out of it before it will show signs of wear and tear. Do to the design of egg chairs suspended, there are unavoidable chafing points. But as the chairs are not cheap, spending this to protect makes sense.
It fits the chair (forgotten the make and model as it was gifted by family member) and slips over OK. It is keeping dust and bugs off in the garage until the weather improves and we start to enjoy the outdoors again.

Wir haben die Hlle fr unser “Ei” bestellt, damit es Wetter und Schmutz geschtzt im Garten stehen kann.
Da es fr viele verschiedene Gren und Formen passen soll, ist es fr unser Teil etwas weit geschnitten.
Der Reiverschluss ist sehr lang womit man die Hlle gut und weit ffnen kann.
Unten bleibt eine ffnung, worin auen ein Schnrzug vernht ist, so das man den Stoff unten zusammenziehen kann.
Was dabei aufgefallen ist, wenn man den Stoff zu dolle zusammen zieht ffnet sich um Teil der Reibverschluss wieder.
Man muss einen Mittelweg finden den Stoff zu eng wie mglich zu machen das er gut hlt wenn es strmt, aber nicht so doll das es den Verschluss auf zieht.
Da sollte noch eine Lsung fr gefunden werden.
Daher 1 Stern Abzug das man da etwas Basteln muss.
This cover comes in a storage bag. It is easy to install with the zipper and the cinch at the bottom closes off the chair to most weather. The material is thin so I question its longevity. Although, given the cost I was not expecting a heavy canvas cover. I primarily ordered it to keep out pollen in the spring and leaves in the fall. I have a box on the deck for cushions so I am not worried about rain. For my purposes it gets the job done. It could use a pocket to stow the strings after you cinch the bottom closed. Overall I recommend this given the cost, but I don’t think it will be durable enough to handle heavy use.

Von der Form her umschlingt er den Sessel weit besser und schliet direkt darunter ab.
Auch hat er schon seine ersten Erfahrungen mit Schnee gemacht und trotzdem blieb alles trocken.

Die Abdeckhaube besteht aus einem sehr sehr dnnem Material. Das ist zwar praktisch beim aufbewahren (klein verstaut), aber wird in Sachen Langlebigkeit ganz sicher nicht punkten. Mal schauen wie lange sie durchhlt.
Der Kordelzug ist gefhlt der Flaschenhals schlechthin. Obwohl er intakt aussieht, kann man das Band ziehen ohne den Knopf zu drcken. Damit lst sich die Kordel bei Wind ganz allmhlich. Weggeflogen ist zwar bisher nichts, aber so richtig vertrauen kann ich dem ganzen nicht schenken (und starken Wind hatten wir derzeit nicht).
Trocken hlt die Plane jedoch. Hat meinen schnen neuen Hngesessel jetzt vor einer Menge Saharasand bewahrt (das wre ohne bei einem weien Korb mal sowas von schief gegangen!) Also da hat sich die Abdeckung bewhrt.
Hoffen wir mal, dass es auch so bleibt. Bisher ist es ok. Sicher fhle ich mich jetzt nicht, aber so richtig schlimmes kann ich nun auch nicht daran aussetzen.
Gibt ein Update sollte die Plane versagen.
Our egg chair was left unprotected on the decking during the recent spate of wild storms, which prompted me to try and find a cover for it. It fits well, although I have probably ‘closed the door after the horse has bolted’ weather wise, so can’t comment on its performance under stormy conditions…

This is a very handy thing to have if you have a egg swing chair like myself. They’re not the easiest things to store in a shed due to their size however this cover is working really well.
It was easy to put on and fitted really well. I could pull it in to adjust it to the tightness needed.
It has protected it through rain and strong winds and has not come off. Very impressed and would recommend
At first I thought this wasn’t going to fit as my Egg chair is big, but once I slung this over it and zipped it up, it was like it was made for it, as it pulls the chair back towards the support and holds it firmly in place. Previously I had a large tarp covering my chair but storm Eunice had other ideas, this looks like it will stay in place nicely. Looks very nice too, the material is reasonable thick so I expect it to last a few years, unless Eunice has a bigger brother en route in the future!
Fastenings underneath meant it didn’t blow off in the high winds and although, we took the chair off its hook and wedged it with other furniture in the garden, it didn’t get wet at all. We actually piled a load of cushions on it under the cover, to keep them dry too and not one got wet!
The material is touch and durable and obviously waterproof as claimed.

This Mrrihand does covers the seat really well and as I have fitted this on straight from the packet it’s a bit creased but I am absolutely sure that the creases will fall out in fact I will do a follow up with this adding another photo when they do The cover is a nice silver grey and waterproof there are toggles near the zip where you pull and tighten up from the bottom to make it a good fit My single hanging egg chair measures H195xW95
