I have been looking for a dehumidifier for the bathroom for a long time because there is always humidity there and mold develops. Finally, I have one. And a decent one too !
Placed it in the bathroom without taking too much place. I turn it on after a shower when there is a lot of steam in the bathroom. The container was full of water within 2 days. I want to point out that with this dehumidifier there is even less dust in the bathroom. As I understand it, it also purifies the air. I also use it for what is probably a less common purpose. I hang dry a lot of my clothes and I turn this on next to the drying rack and the clothes dry faster. It’s like it sucks the moisture right out of my clothes without having to deal with shrinkage from the dryer. It’s pretty portable considering its size and it’s easy to wheel around to wherever I need it in the house.
Recommended!
When it works, it works well, but has a habit of not starting, so I have to play with the controls, turn off, then on; eventually it will start.. Apart from the dodgy start button, my other complaint is the ridiculously short, permanent drainage tube, which is about 18 inches (45 cm) long.
On initially opening this up, you get the impression of an intelligent, sleek dehumidifier. The built quality is pretty decent and certainly works well, help reducing humidity, mould and dampness. Also, I find the room warmer than before.
It is easy to use, not too noisy, and easy to fill the water in a tank; however, the tank needs emptying from time to time; otherwise, the machine will shut off, which is slightly annoying. However, it’s very effective and does a good job, which is essential for me.
It’s not a cheap unit; however, I think this offers good value for money for the quality. Definitely worth the extra money.
I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.
My daughter lives in a small studio apartment (one room for living, sleeping and eating) and was having great difficulty getting clothes dry, and spaces with less ventilation were starting to show mould. We tried a heated towel rail for drying but that was expensive to run and really didn’t work. After further thought we decided to try a dehumidifier, and I did a lot of research trying to find the right one. The cheaper ones seemed to have mixed reviews but this one seemed to tick all the boxes, and she hasn’t been disappointed. It’s really easy to set up, is pretty quiet, and really pulls a lot of moisture out of the atmosphere in a short space of time. Drying clothes works now without extra heat, no more mould showing, and in summary this has been a great success. I highly recommend it.
Works well and keeps the shed dry. I was getting slugs moving in, but when I run this they stay out. Pretty happy with the product.
This is an excellent little unit, I couldn’t believe how quiet it is. I got it for my mum, who uses it alot. It is a small unit and easy to use, an elderly lady in her 70s can easily empty it.
A neat little unit, I am using it to prevent damp in my currently unheated office, t works well and it makes the room feel much warmer. It is very easy to use and fairly quiet, but does require regular emptying – I wish I had gone for a larger tank, the two litre tank fills up quickly and then, if not emptied, the unit will switch off. There is a hose for continuous drainage but due to the position of my office this is not an option for me.
I am very happy with how this fuctions.
I hadn’t realised how much water there was in my flat.A visitor told m my windows were steamed up because of water.I finally bought this when because I had to wipe windowsills dry each morning. This has stopped all that and the first few days I had to empty the tray at least three times a day but now I just empty it when needed.
Save’s a lot on drying time so it must save money as well
Bought to assist drying washing in a flat with no outdoor spaces, have dumped two litres out after a few hours before. Like all dehumidifiers it is preferential to have a warm atmosphere to work with or it will need to defrost itself more frequently, but that is physics, not the unit’s fault.
Excellent, would recommend, especially as the price is very good for the features compared to other dehumidifiers.
Very quiet compared to our old dehumidifier seems to do its job and has good setting and easy to operate
This is brilliant. It’s expensive; but it does work.
We’v got this as our spare room was getting pretty bad mould on the windows, and we found the clothes were drying stale within it. It works a treat for reducing humidity, and for 100, that’s much better than a structural refit of the room.
It’s big and sightly, which is a bit of a downside, but it looks sleek and smart being all white. It fits well under a table too, if you do want to keep it out of sight.
I tried this all weekend and found it to be great. Had to empty 2 times a day due to the dampness in the utility room it was in. Once it was going it was great. Very easy to set up and use.
Very easy to empty. Great compact unit that should fit in most places. Nice and quiet and not too noisy so can be left on all night and you won’t hear it. Has auto cot off if pot gets too full which is a good idea.
All in all I like it and the price suited my budget.
Gets 5-5. Very nice using and top quality. Totally recommended. It’s doing a great job in a damp utility room.
Excellent product has done exactly what it’s supposed too, great value for money & very sleek. Highly recommend for its purposes.
