It’s been said in multiple reviews, that these are a very warm white, and I can confirm they are! We only ever want warm white in our house, but even for us, these are a little too orangey in their hue! We’d purchased a few of these filament bulbs, and one was the larger globe version that was also the ‘Ambiance’ version – I didn’t realise this until setting them up. The ‘Ambiance’ version costs more, but I would 100% go for this every time now, as you can control the level of warmth from a daylight temperature all the way to a super warm white. Meaning you can get what you deem the perfect level of white.
You live and you learn, and now I want all my Hue bulbs in the Ambiance version going forward.

Compared to other Hue bulbs – that use LEDs to generate light – this bulb is designed like a classical filament bulb. This may seem like a backward step, in that it has a white filament that generates a nice orange glow, which at its lowest setting you can look straight at, yet, that’s the point; it looks good when off as well as on. It looks great in a bare lamp or a hanging light feature, which might be why these type of bulbs seem all the range for Nandos.
I have a range of other smart bulbs (from various manufacturers) that can flash and change colours, and have plastic diffusers to spread light far and wide, yet as ambiance lights, these are great (especially for the price).

Lampadina della serie Philips HUE con una tonalit molto calda e un aspetto “lampadina vintage”.
Bello l’effetto luce calda, che sembra provenire da una classica lampadina ad incandescenza, bello l’aspetto della lampadina anche da spenta.
Ideale se dovete montarla un un lampadario di vetro o comunque dove le lampadine rimangono a vista, dove quelle bianche “moderne” sarebbero antiestetiche, queste invece fanno un figurone.
Piccolo appunto non sono molto potenti come resa luminosa, ma qui vale pi l’estetica che la funzionalit.
Come sempre, per Philips HUE, i prezzi sono cari, ma vale la spesa.

Tolle Birnen, leicht zu installieren mit Alexa usw. Allerdings knnen zwei Birnen nicht mehr mit Alexa bedient werden und das ist nach ca. 9 Monaten passiert. Sie brennen noch aber sind nur noch ber den Lichtschalter zu bedienen. Sehr schade! Ansonsten wunderbar, die restlichen Birnen (insgesamt 7) funktionieren NOCH einwandfrei.

So manches Mal empfinde ich den doch ziemlich extremen Orange-Stich des Lichts als anstrengend. Speziell, wenn man wirklich Licht braucht. Wer es nicht nachvollziehen kann soll abends spaeshalber mal einen Rubik-Cube lsen und schauen, ob er/sie die gelben und weien Flchen noch sicher auseinanderhalten kann 😉
Am spten Abend – ohne zustzliche Beleuchtung – noch Papierkram durchgehen strengt die Augen schon sehr an. berlege bereits mir deshalb noch einen LED-Deckenfluter anzuschaffen, der dieses Defizit bei Bedarf kompensiert.
The product works great – although I do wish the bulbs were just a bit brighter. I’m only giving 4 starts because despite what any one says, if you want these to work properly, you 100% absolutely NEED THE HUB. Trying to work these without the hub is just an exercise in frustration. The moment you connect another bluetooth device, leave your house, or accidently flip the light switch without the hub, you need to reconnect and they don’t always connect. Since purchasing the hub, no issues at all. So only 4 stars because Philips is lying about not needing a hub.

wer Philips Hue-Fan ist, wird auch diese Lampe mgen. Als Fan von goldenem Licht im Wohnzimmer finde ich die Lampe besonders passend in einer Stehleuchte, die mehr dekorativen als funktionalen Charakter hat. Bcher lesen mag bei voller Helligkeit noch gut mglich sein – ob das aber bezglich der Augengesundheit noch empfehlenswert ist, wage ich zu bezweifeln.
Dafr ist die Lampe aber auch gar nicht gedacht.
Negativ anzumerken wren da nur der Hue-typisch hohe Preis und die Tatsache, dass ich die Bluetooth-Funktionalitt nicht generell und dauerhaft ausschalten kann. Dass die Lampe als Bluetooth-Device auffindbar (wenn auch idR nicht verbind-bar ist), finde ich etwas beunruhigend. Allem voran deshalb, weil es schon erfolgreiche Angriffe auf Philips Hue Systeme gegeben hat. Ein Einfallstor weniger wre mir lieber …
Works so well with Alexa and Phillips bridge we could get rid of the ugly switch wire. Used in porch, comes on at sunset, off late and then gets triggered by motion on Ring doorbell through the night. Clever.
Swift delivery, good value for money. Works well with philips app only had to reset once in months of use.

Posseggo altre lampadine della philiphs e sono decisamente di ottima qualit. Questa la prima della serie Hue. La utilizzo con l’app dedicata. Non posseggo Alexa e nemmeno il bridge. Nel complesso la lampadina ha, una resa cromatica confortevole, il colore tende all’arancione; simile ad una candela. La luminosit non alta, del resto queste lampadine devono creare atmosfera e luce soffusa. L’app intuitiva e facile da usare. Unica pecca, l’app non consente la personalizzazione delle accensioni e gli spegnimenti. Inoltre ogni tanto si accende e si spegne da sola, senza intervento sull’app. Penso che debba essere perfezionata
Love the aesthetic of these bulbs and the dimmable range is good. They are not really bright enough for anything other than background lighting. They are very ‘warm’ almost orange, which took a bit of getting used to. The setup was a bit of a faff with the Phillips app not finding them initially, but once setup in Alexa they have worked flawlessly. They get pretty hot during operation which is unexpected for an LED, so they can’t be the most efficient. Overall a good product.

Sehen in meiner Pendellampe perfekt aus! Verbindung mit dem Handy und die Steuerung per App war problemmos zu installieren und funktioniert auch einwandfrei.
Meiner Meinung nach auch super Licht fr ber dem Esstisch, schner warmer Ton, von dunkel bis hell alles mglich.
Bin sehr zufrieden und wrde jederzeit wieder eine Phillips Hue Glhbirne kaufen. Finde den Preis (15,90 pro Birne) aus gerechtfertigt.
Bought this as a similar price to buying a pack of 3-4 lesser brands but only need the one, plus already have hue lighting. The brightest of the hue bulbs I’ve purchased and looks amazing with the filament glowing and just the ticket in a refurbished modern down stairs toilet.
I like the look and feel of the bulb. The bluetooth works fine, but i mostly bought it for the old fashion look and colour.
I had absolutely no use for this at all as all my lights are gu10 all through the house and outside. I did however realise I had an old build in one of the towel cupboards in the house so I bought a converter for this bulb as seen in the photo.
Well I fitted it today with a Philips hue dimmer switch so the light comes on when I open the door.
I have to say I’m really impressed with this, it kind of gives off an orangey white which I don’t usually like but I’m happy with the bulb, the thing I like the most about it is the inside of the bulb still looks like it glows when it’s switched off.
It’s hard to say what it will be like in an actual room but for the size of our little cupboard it lights it up great and the best thing is now my whole house is converted to Philips hue which I’m happy with.
Like all Philips hue great quality and easy to set up but a little pricey if not in a deal
Bought 7 of these in total in different shapes and love the spiral effect. We use them through Alexa for switching on and off and they give out a warm light.
Another beautifully made hue product. Looks really nice.

I have mine fitted outside under a gazebo and I’ve noticed the yellow tint of the outer glass appears to have slightly faded. Only really noticeable though to me.
CONCLUSION
I’d still recommend. You can’t beat the overall quality and functionality of this light bulb. A must for any Hue enthusiast.
I’m fairly well bought into the Hue eco system, but these are very yellow, would be nice if they could make these with a white ambiance system, I replaced some non smart led filament bulbs which were sir here between these and white light and they did make the room a bit brighter. Other than that good solid item from Philips
Wir haben die Leuchtmittel bei uns im Schlafzimmer an den Wandlampen angebracht. Es sind unsere ersten Philips Hue Leuchtmittel und ich war sehr froh, dass alles so einfach ging.
Eindrehen, Bluetooth App runterladen (da wir keine Bridge haben), verbinden, Lampen benennen, steuern. Easy.
Die Helligkeit ist angenehm und ohnehin dimmbar. Das warme Licht gefllt mir sehr gut, es ist wie gewnscht.
Wrde das Produkt in jedem Fall empfehlen.

Technical: My network has a Hue V2 bridge on it, which controls this, as all the other Hue devices, without any problems. There is no flicker with the level set at 1%, and Hue routines work fine with it, dimming up and down at appropriate times. There have been no problems with control from either the Hue app or Amazon Alexa voice control, with no detectable lag in response from either. Phillips have recently released a software update for all the Hue devices that I’m using – I’ve installed this, and there have been no issues with this update.

Great brand that you can trust and great LED flow bulb. I knew these were available in the old filament style but wanted a smart led version. Glows very low and looks great. Yes you can use it with Alexa and Philips hue apps. 5% and 60% shown in the video.

This bulb looks really good and works well with the Philips Hue app etc. It’s not cheap, but worth the money, in my opinion.
Tried many smart bulbs, but despite the high price, I will never buy anything else than Philips Hue. Never causes any troubles, never disconnects from the network, no need to add any passwords, no need to pair.. Alexa just picks it up without any troubles. screw in and ask alexa to find it. Done.
The warm light in these filament bulbs is more orange than the standard hue warm light. The light is nice in the evening but I’d prefer something less orange for day. However, we have clear shades so the filament bulb will be staying. Work perfectly with the hue bridge.
I was looking for a hue bulb for a patio. I didn’t need brightness equivalent to a floodlight as it was a smallish space but I wanted something with a warm light and not blinding. This fitted the bill perfectly. It’s a comfortable , cosy level of brightness and it looks well in a clear glass shade.
Perfect for an evening side lamp. The warmest LED bulb I’ve ever encountered, this could be a great thing or a bad thing depending on your preference. The light is very orange and warm, and not as bright as it could be. Don’t expect to light a small room with one of these in the centre pendant.
Very easy to set up and integrated flawlessly with my Google Assistant/Sonos set up. The perfect gateway product into the Hue system.
Hatte in meiner Smart Home Installation bis jetzt immer Osram Lampen, wollte aber Retrobirnen und hab mich darum fr Philips HUE entschieden. Die Birnen sehen top aus und funktioniert in der Konstellation DeCONZ mit OpenHAB wunderbar. Leider, die einzige schwche die ich feststellen kann ist, dass die Lampe immer mit einer Standard Helligkeit startet und dann erst dimmt. Dies ist ein bisschen unangenehm gerade im Schlafzimmer als Nachtisch Lampe wenn diese mit circa Helligkeit 20 anstatt 5 starte
A nice, well constructed traditional looking LED+Bluetooth light bulb. Works well with Apple Home and Amazon Alexa. The bulb with its faux incandecant coil looks period in reconditioned antique lighting that can then be voice or .app controlled. Not cheap and made in China. On full it emits a warm light at 550 lumens (this version). Attached image shows the dimmed bulb in a period fitting.
Phillips hue didn’t disappoint once again. The light is the best looking one on the market, the coiled led strip is quite classy and looks better that Ikea’s version which run’s lengthways. It can dim very low giving a nice glow that you can stare directly at. Be warned that when fully on gives a VERY yellow light, you’d probably need to additional light sources to fully light a room.
El gran problema de les bombetes Philips s que no es poden integrar amb els diferents assistents de veu si no compres el HUB propi. Aix, encara que les bombetes sn segurament les millors del mercat, es queden coixes en aquesta funcionalitat que si que tenen bombetes ms econmiques. La vaig comprar en una oferta amb el 75% de descompte si no no l’hauria compra

Bought this item as a outside door light paired with Alexa brillia
These bulbs are beautiful when exposed and were intially easy to set up with an easy to use app. We don’t have a hue bridge as it seemed excessive for just 3 bulb when not planning to add anymore.
The bluetooth app allows us to control them individually or as a group, switching them off or dimming with various configurations, such as having only 1 light on while the others are off or dimmed etc.
The only problem was that you want the lights to respond instantly to what you want them to do which is not possible using any app – you have to get your phone, open the app, wait for it to connect to the lights (3 -5 secs) and then click within the app to go to your scenes to then enable a saved setting.
So then we envisioned that we would speed up the process by connecting it to Alexa, which we have bought primarily to voice control the lights.
The lights work great with Alexa, however, only with one Alexa account. My partner and I have 2 Alexa accounts due to having seperate Spotify accounts. When he connected his Alexa to the lights, they worked brilliantly but then I couldn’t connect my Alexa account to them. And if I somehow managed to do it, they would then stop working on my partner’s account. So we had to delete the lights from my account which meant that everytime I’m in my account listening to my Spotify, if I want to control the lights, I have to ask Alexa to switch to my partner’s account first.
The workaround, if anyone has the same issue, was to set routines on my partner’s Alexa mobile app (whilst Alexa is playing in my account) which would cover all configurations I could possibly use, such as “full lights”, “dimmed lights”, “tv lights” etc where some lights ar switched off, some are on, some are dimmed etc. So now we don’t have to switch Alexa from one account to the other to access the lights, however, my view of the lights is limited so if I want to manually control them, I have to use the philips hue app.
Once installed the Hue bridge updated the firmware on the bulb several times which took about 10 mins and like other Hue bulbs the range on the wifi is better than expected as this bulb is 100ft from the bridge and working fine.
One of the best looking traditional filament bulbs i have seen. Like any smart light there are lots of hub options to connect with I am using the actual Phillips Hue Bridge V2. This bulb is one of the newer ones so also has bluetooth for just app control for a phone. But using the actual Hue bridge does offer more options.
Hue software is easy to use and offers some very advanced control options. But this bulb the A60 E27 gives a very traditional orange light and with smart control from app or an Echo show you have about a 1 second delay between asking for a change like on or off and the bulb responding.
So this bulb is fully dimmable , it just over 500 Lumen on 100% and uses 7 watts per hour on it’s brighter settings. 15,0000 hours runtime is lower than some LED bulbs but should last 5 to 10 years for most users.
If you want a more traditional look this is a bulb to go for.
Schne Lampe, gibt es natrlich auch hnlich beim schwedischen Einrichtungshaus. Die hier piept aber nicht hochfrequent wie alternative Produkte. Die Helligkeit und die Lichttemperatur ist sehr gut. Die erste Lieferung kam leider mit berochenem Innenleben, das Glas selbst war zwar in Ordnung. Der Innenkrper mit Leuchtmittel hat es aber nicht berlebt. Austausch verlief ohne Probleme direkt ber Amazon.
Trotzdem bin ich der Meinung, diese Lampen sind noch zu teuer. Daher 4 Sterne.
Very easy to use, smooth dimming and looks great. Doesn’t consistently connect right away when using with Alexa, which is my only reason for not giving a full five stars, but will always connect on the second attempt. In any case, this isn’t enough of an issue to dissuade me from buying again.
Good Hue smart bulb. Looks surprisingly realistic – close to an old school filament bulb.
Occasionally, brightness can flicker slightly when it’s set to a lower power, but great otherwise.
I have various hue bulbs and liked the vintage look of this one but had to return as II found it just doesn’t give out much light. I used it for the stairs and as my main light source. I wouldn’t recommend it if its your only light source in that room, be okay if there are other lights but as a stand alone it had to go and I had to go back to my regular white hue bulb. Shame as I really like the look of them.
WOW! Philips Hue Lights are mega cool! If you don’t have them you need to buy at least one! So fantastic, easy to use, customise and to adapt! So agile, it works on Alexa, Phone, move sensor and switch! I am doing my whole house in those lights inside and outside! You will need to buy extra Philips Hue Bridge for them so you can setup them the way you want it. You can control them when you are away and even better you can setup routines! Amazing, worth every penny, must have gadget!!

Meine Erwartungen an die Philips Hue wurden erfllt. Ich habe nach Leuchten gesucht die dekorativen und praktische zu gleich sind. Habe ich gefunden.
Durch die kostenlos App, die simpel und selbsterklrend aufgebaut ist lassen sich die Leuchten ganz einfach vom Handy steuern, ganz ohne zustzliches gekabel. Durch die App kann jede Lampe / Leuchte benannt werden so lsst sich einfach das Licht im ganzen Raum oder auch nur einzelne Leuchten, super einfach dem Anlass oder der Stimmung entsprechend anpassen.
Wir steuern die Leuchten ber mehrere Gerte (Handy & Tablett) ohne Probleme oder Strungen. Wirklich Top Produkt.
Der Preis der Leuchten ist fr die Funktionen die man hat auch okay.

Signal range is really impressive as the hub is inside the house through 2 brick walls.
Very nice bulb, looks beautiful when unlit & has a really nice warm white light. A tad pricey but if like me you’ve been part of the Philips hue eco system for years it makes sense to stick to their bulbs instead of paying slightly less for other brands with the same features.
This is one of my favourite bulbs. I love the glow and warmth of the light, it makes a great bedside lamp and I can use Alexa to turn it on when I enter the room at night and it’s dark. I can also extend the functionality through the Hue app. All in all really good and energy efficient to boot.
It is a good bulb to work with your Hue system but I believe there are better and more flexible alternatives.
These combine smart Hue technology with the traditional ‘Edison’ lightbulbs – you can’t tell the difference, even close up! They’re native to the Alexa app – the new bulb search on the app will detect and set them up quickly and easily. We have these throughout the house and got them all working/connected to Alexa in under 5 minutes! Exactly what we were looking for!
These bulbs are excellent for atmospheric lighting in light fittings that expose the bulb. Wish the base wasn’t so tall but guess that’s a technical requirement for Hue as the normal ones have the same base.
Ich kam durch einen Produkttest in den Genuss eines Hue-Startersets und war begeistert. Da ich fr das Set nichts bezahlen musste, konnte ich mir direkt passende Erweiterungen kaufen und bin dabei auf diese “Glhbirne” gestoen, die bei mir eine alte Glhbirne ersetzen sollte.
Technisch funktioniert sie einwandfrei. Einfach in den richtigen Raum einbinden und schon kann ich sie einzeln oder mit den anderen Lampen steuern. Dabei ist sie natrlich nur dimmbar. Frei hngend ist das Licht dabei durchaus hell, mit einem “Schutz” ausreichend hell fr meine Raumecke und bringt ein warmes, gelbes Licht in den Raum. Aktiviert sieht sie auch wirklich schick aus. Schaltet man sie aus, sieht das was frher der Draht war, merkwrdig aus. Es ist dann eine gelb-orange Spirale und sieht fast schon billig aus. Ist natrlich nur ein Problem, wenn man sie wie ich freihngend nutzen will. Mit einem “Schutz” vor dem Leuchtkrper sieht man das in der Regel nicht mehr.
Wer also ein warmes Licht fr sein Hue-System sucht macht hier nichts falsch.
Excellent product easy to setup via Hue BT app. Great fun to control it on the phone however, the light is a bit yellow in colour for our liking and cannot be changed like with other hue bulbs.
Excellent. Nice light and look good on and off. The bulb itself was a little smaller than I was expecting, and in our slightly larger pendant shades may look a bit small, but overall very pleased.
I like this bulb. We have it in a sidelight and it gives a nice warm light. It’s plenty bright enough for that purpose. My only criticism is that it does appear to have a blink/flicker problem when turned down low on the hue app. Given the price and quality of the other hue bulbs, I wouldn’t expect this problem, hence the star deducted.
Mais quelle bonne surprise, sur le cot de la boite apparait un logo ZigBee cot de celui Bluetooth !
Ce n’est pourtant prcis nulle part dans la description que cette ampoule est galement compatible Zigbee.
J’ai pu l’appairer en 3sec avec Home Assistant + cl usb ZigBee deCONZ (sans pont HUE donc), tout marche nickel !!
Au del de a c’est une trs belle ampoule qui produit une belle lumire chaude, ma femme est ravie que j’ai pu remplacer celle clairement bien moins esthtique d’une autre marque bien connue.
Je vais de suite commander un Globe cette fois pour complter l’clairage connect de mon salon.
These are wonderful! We’ve had some bed side light fittings for a year that we hadn’t gotten around to fitting but got to the point where our large bedroom was always too dark. We wanted a stylish bulb as it is exposed but having used Philips Hue for over a year now all around the house we had cone to expect high performance from our lighting. These bulbs were everything we were looking for! Love them!
En cuanto al brillo y el tono, decir que es muy acogedor y confortable. Da muy buena sensacin de comodidad.
Solo le podra poner una pega y es que, para poder controlarla con Google Assistant o Alexa, necesitas o el Philips Hue Bridge (que cuesta unos 50/60) o que el altavoz inteligente en cuestin cuente con compatibilidad propia, es decir que el Amazon Echo Dot ni el Google Home Mini (los que cuestan 50/60) no son compatibles. Solo son compatibles los que cuestan alrededor de los 100.
A pesar de esa pequea pega, el control manual desde el mvil es realmente bueno.
If the Hue bulb generally is a rolls Royce then this is the phantom, the classiest of them all. Not all the colours of the others, but looks great in those lights were the bulb is meant to be seen.

What I love about these is that Philips has been faithful to the aesthetics and tone of traditional filament bulbs. The power output is low in comparison to other hue bulbs, the tone is a steady warm white (they don’t offer different colours or different white hues – only warm white) and when dimmed low the spiral filament is gorgeous.
They are perfect for lamps, naked light fittings and feature lights but are unlikely to replace traditional ceiling lights due to their relatively low power output. For those that don’t like the sleek modern shape of most hue lights, these are the perfect solution.
I bought them to go in a home made bespoke fitting in our dining room, and they go perfectly.
Note, these don’t offer the full range of ‘Ambiance’ or ‘colour’ bulbs, they only do brightness adjustment, in warm white.
I’ve also not used the new bluetooth abilities of these bulbs, as they have gone into an existing Hue setup.
