Great size and good quality. Very easy to fold and to carry on, always on my car in case of last minute picnic or just to have a rest to enjoy the views.
Nice amd big enough for family of 4 .easy to clean and best thing is that it doesn’t fly away with wind.but difficult to get folded.
Used this recently on a holiday in Dorset, and found it to be brilliant for sitting on the beach before the sand had fully dried out. No wet bottoms for us. It’s huge and would easily fit a family on so there was more than enough room for me, my partner and the dog. We did take the time to dry the moisture off with a towel after it had been on a damp surface, so no issues with mould. The sitting surface is wipe-able (it’s not like a blanket) which we didn’t mind at all, however if that’s what you want (ie a softer surface with waterproof backing) you’ll probably be disappointed with this. It’s wasn’t the easiest to re-fold in a breeze on the beach because it’s so large, but with two or more pairs of the hands on the job it gets easier with practice! It’s good value and would be a great addition to anyone’s beach kit.
Love how light and easy to carry this blanket is. I also think the pattern is cute and the material being waterproof is great when we spill milk, water, any liquid and with children these things happen all the time.
2 cons that I noticed were: first, once unfolded I can never get it back to it’s original packaged shape. I honestly can’t figure out how to make it this small again. And second, it is a bit thin so you feel all the rocks and branches underneath but I guess it’s understandable since you want it to be lightweight.
This picnic blankes it perfect for a day in nature has the perfect size 200200cm, a generous space for 4-5 people, for camping, fishing, picnic, or just traveling.

We’ve been after a large picnic blanket to keep in the car boot, not just for days at the beach but just for any occasion when you need a cover of any sort, in the car or outside. It’s a good picnic blanket which fold up nicely and has a carrying handle. It’s a decent size (2 metres x 2 metres) and seems robust. I’d hesitate to call this a blanket. It’s more like a robust plasticised sheet, but certainly serves its purpose. If it was a genuine blanket you’d never get rid of all the sand. I love the fact that it’s big, folds up with a handle and is easy to clean off after a beach trip with sand everywhere. It’s a great thing and takes up less room in the boot than an old rug though it’s quitter heavy. Cleaning it is quite simple. You can wipe clean the waterproof side with a damp cloth and just brush the top. I also like the pattern and it looks good and very “holiday like” when in use. I think the price is pretty reasonable because I’m sure it will last the course and I can’t fault it.

This is a good sized picnic blanket that folds into a satchel like shape with handle for carrying.
The underneath is coated to protect you from moisture and keep you dry , it’s suitable for any outdoor use.
It folds into a compact size and is useful to keep in the car for impromptu trips out.
It’s easy to use , just unfold , it’s a little harder to pack away as it has to be folded in the right way or the Velcro section isn’t in the right place to hold it together.

This Founten Picnic Blanket is ideal for keeping in your car or garden shed and when folded up it doesn’t take up much space at all. The impression you get is of a well-made product with good quality sewing and material which is moisture proof but, at the same time, not too crinkly or slippery.
I’m glad I went for the 200 x 200 cm size, which is generous enough for four people – probably best for 2 adults and two children. Also, the blanket is easy to keep clean, I think most people will sponge clean it, but you can machine wash it on a cool wash.
Overall, this is a really tough, practical and useful product which I predict will get a lot of use this summer in the garden, on walks or on the beach.

This is a really great size and perfect for family days at the beach, park or just in the garden and despite being pretty big it’s quite compact when all folded up and secured. The waterproof underside makes it great for using pretty much anywhere without worrying and for the price and quality is good value and would recommend.
A nice sized picnic blanket that folds up into easy to carry type bag, although the wife had a bit of trouble folding it back up she needed to look at the instructions, can’t try it out yet as the weather is not warm enough for picnics or beach trips, it has a waterproof backing so any dampness on the ground will not soak into it, ideal to keep in the car for that impromptu beach moment.

A good sized picnic blanket at 200cm square, this is very practical as it’s made from easy care waterproof and tear resistant PVC fabric. It performs equally well on the beach – as sand won’t stick to it as it does with wool style blankets – and on grass in the garden or at the park. Any food or drink spillages are no problem as they can simply be wiped off.
I like the way this packs down compactly into a bag shape which even has a carrying handle on top, making it very portable. The design I received differed slightly from the online pics. In my view it’s actually better looking as the ‘flap’ on the bag shape when this is folded is in a toning shade of very pale blue as was the edging and the nylon webbing handle.
There’s no doubt that woollen picnic blankets look good – but they’re not nearly as practical as this Founten version. And as it’s waterproof, no problem if a little black cloud parks itself over your picnic site – as so often seems to be the case once my thoughts turn to picnics.
This mat has floral pattern and the fabric material is so easy to clean. I prefer this type of mat to use especially in the beach because the sand doesn’t cling on the mat. Other mats that has felt like material makes the sand stick on it that you can’t avoid folding it with sand still stuck on it. This one is fine. Just brush of the dirt and it comes off. Also compact when folded with a carry strap.
The material choice it great for all weathers as it’s waterproof and doesn’t absorb much heat for the hot summers days when your trying to cool off. The blanket remains cold which is great for spending a long time laying down.
The way it is folded up is hard to remember and actually do but when it’s done right it stores away into a small carrier bag this allows for easy transportation. Also with it being light weight helps a lot for long journeys.

This is my 1 year old on it so as you can see it’s huge! We used it on damp grass and we didn’t get wet bottoms. Perfect for a large family picnic! I managed to fold it back into a pouch after, not exactly the easiest thing to do alone but manageable. It is small and lightweight when folded. Definitely a fantastic picnic rug!

Takes very little space when folded so it is easy to carry or store but it’s quite large when laid down unfolded.
Although the material is not thick, it definitely suits its purpose. It has a waterproof layer on the bottom which will protect you from moisture and dirt.
The material seems to be hardwearing and easy to clean, didn’t try it on the beach yet as the weather didn’t allow it but I can’t wait to do so.

The item is just as described. It has a handy carry handle at the top of the bag which is quite heavy. it folds into a mat that you can sit on. Quite a good size and will come in very handy for picnics and camping. Very well made and very thick materials should last for quite a while.

Good size blanket, waterproof and wipe clean so no worries about those spilled drinks!
It is lightweight so you need to put something heavy on it once laid out if it is a bit windy!
It is quite thin so you may want to use something like a throw to sit on or you will feel all the bumps and lumps of the ground.
I found it easy to fold back up and Velcro back in place once I brought it inside. Was virtually impossible for one person to fold back up in the wind!
Overall a good ‘blanket’ which I will be leaving in the car for meeting friends over the summer.

This is thick waterproof blanket, that is designed to fold into a carry bag form, when unfolded a large picket mat.
The material then resists moisture up from the ground, very useful for a comfortable place to lounge on the occasions the sun appears, and a decorative upper surface, here in blue and yellow flowers, that can be easily wiped clean of spills which come with the territory when picnicking.
It takes a minute to work out how to fold it back into the “carry case” form, but following the creases is a good guide, and will be easier after a few goes.

This item is weighty and it’s folded quite small , almost A4 size when supplied , it’s actually two meters x two meters when opened. Upon opening it and laying it out I was amazed at just how large it was, Fabric looks to be a heavy duty type and waterproof, so wet sand or wet grass etc isn’t going to stop the picnic taking place. I would recommend taking a few photos with your phone when you first open it out. it reminds me of the maps we used to use before satnav you couldn’t quite fold them back to the original way after opening them. Having said that, the creases should aid it’s repacking.
I would recommend this item, it’s small enough to keep in your backpack or car.

Personally, I really like this blanket because i can use it when going to beach. Its a bit heavy though.
Blanket hasn’t got the fleece top layer like my other picnic blanket so automatically takes less space. The blanket is coated by waterproof layer and top of the blanket has nylon feel to it. It’s easy to wipe clean and shake the sand off. This blanket is perfect for beach, park, meadow and our own garden.
When folded, blanket can be carried by handle, just like school book bag. It has a bit of plasticky smell to it, but it’s just because it’s still very new. Colours are nice, floral pattern is interesting, bringing closer to the nature. The edges are secured by black nylon stripe. Blanket is well made.

A great picnic blanket worth every penny. It is actually quite thin, so I was surprised to feel a reassuring weight to it when it’s all folded up. It’s waterproof and spills mop up quite well. The big plus here is how it conveniently folds up for storage and travel. I did the fold test – folded it up several time after airing out the blanket and losing most of the folds – in real life it’s the ones that are hard to put back together again that are the most annoying, this has the velcro on two main bits, so it has to be folded a certain way, but I found while I folded up without following the creases you might struggle initially , but it was very easy to match the velcro strips and put it back to its carrying form. I just love that you can carry it by the handles – when you’re struggling carrying all the cooler boxes etc, you can get one of the kids to carry the blanket.

We live in a seaside town and my daughter often goes to the beach and on picnics so I thought this would be ideal for her and she will definitely get a lot of use out of it in the warmer months, it comes neatly folded it almost looks like a little bag when folded and it has the handy handle to carry it, it unfolds into a large square blanket 200x200cm it will easily fit a few adults or a small family on it, I tried it out in the home the other day when my young nieces and nephews came over for lunch I unfolded it and laid it on my lounge floor and they sat on it to eat there pack lunch it was great as the kids thought they were having a indoor picnic and after they finished I just shook it off outside and folded it away I didn’t have to clear up mess or vacuum the floor so it was great for me as well, good value for money and can see us getting a lot of use out of this.
This makes my old picnic blanket look like a hand towel. It’s huge! A family of four could sit on it quite comfortably. The colourful waterproof fabric is quite thick and tough, and the stitching around the edge is neatly done. It’s quite heavy to carry at just over 1.3 kg, and you have to be methodical and patient when you fold it back up or you won’t turn it back into the neat rectangle it started out as. There’s a velcro flap to keep it neatly together and a carrying strap. This will be great to keep everyone happy when the grass is a bit damp or on the beach.
I used it whenever I needed it and it’s very useful. I like the large size of it and the colour. Texture is fine it looks like it’s going to last. It’s quite heavy as understandable because of it’s size and quality. I will recommend it.

This picnic blanket can accommodate 4 adults lying flat. The size is 79″ x 79″ or 200cm x 200cm.
Completely waterproof, if the children spill juice it will just wipe off with tissues.

The picnic blanket folds up really small for storage.
It’s quite a pleasant printed design on the blanket but I think it would be better if there were more designs or colours so the customer would have a choice. That is the reason I only gave 4 stars.

This is a good quality large well designed picnic blanket ideal for a family picnic or trip top the beach. It feels strong and should last well so ideal for a family. It is made of a material that should not easily rip, is waterproof and is easy to clean. There is a knack to folding it following use but with a bit of patience, it does not take long. I followed the folds and it took me a few tries to get it right but had it folded within a minute. For its size, it is fairly light. This is an impressive large picnic blanket.
