Different Recording Modes
Choose from three different recording options on a camera-to-camera basis. These options include recording footage continuously, during scheduled times, or when movement is detected. This DVR also includes a pre-recording function that will go back to record before motion is detected, so you never have to worry about missing those first vital moments.
Compatibility
Not to worry about the compatibility issues any more as long as there is a standard BNC cabling connection in your old system. Simply choose the correct channel type on the DVR menu (Main Menu – System – Digital – Channel Type) and get to access your cameras in no time
With or Without the Internet
Standalone camera systems do not need the internet to operate. However, an internet connection will be necessary if you wish to use a smart-phone, tablet or computer to access features such as remote monitoring.

The Sansco unit itself is very good and easy to install. The definition is good and the colours strong. At first I downloaded the XMEYE app and had a lot of trouble with logging onto it. I left a poor review and was then contacted by Sansco who recommended downloaded the XMEYE PRO app and helpfully talked me through the process of reinstalling via Whatsapp. So very happy now.
Compatible with my older cameras and very easy to set up.

Easy swap for a Swann DVR that was on its last legs. Fully compatible and no issues with quality. App works well too.
Most DVRs/NVRs seem to have a fairly basic user interface that takes some time to learn how to navigate around. This item is no different and it takes some time to get familiar with – BUT – the automatic setup and wizard are absolutely fine to get started and work well. The app for remote viewing and playback is surprisingly good too. I’ve paired it up to a load of cameras also made by the same brand and am really happy with the picture quality.
Bought to replace a Sannce DVR that failed after 4 yrs continuous use. The software appears to be the same, as in the menu appears very similar!
My Sannce system was professionally installed and the App set up for me, as a result of that, and my IT ineptitude, I struggled for a couple of hours to set up the App, however I managed it.
I use this system for continuous monitoring of the area around the house from my home office. In addition I have installed 4 stand alone Reolink solar powered cameras to provide alerts and more convenient play back. Probably not everyone’s cup of tea but it works for me.
Have brought a few of these dvr’s from sansco – they run great, easy to install and they have a brill WhatsApp support number for any issues. Particularly like the mobile app so you can see cameras on the go!
Easy to set up and use. The XMEye app is great as well. I lost my password recently and had to use the tech support to get a password reset. They were excellent at helping me out. I bought the 8 camera dvr but I only run 4 cameras off it at present but plan to add more in the future. I highly recommend this product. Possibly a cloud based storage solution for recordings would be be a useful upgrade that Sansco or the app developers should bring out.
Had to buy a replacement dvr as my current QVIS one was causing me so many problems. It wouldn’t allow me to view my cameras within Wifi away from home. I was a bit sceptical at first, but did some digging around and decided to give this one a go.
There was absolutely no setting up to do with the device as, when I plugged in the camera cables, I was able to view them straight away. Was able to view my cameras without Wifi first time, no messing!
The last but one thing I had to do was to configure the email alerts, my QVIS one just didn’t work no matter what I did. For this one, I sent a Whatsapp message to the company, and within an hour or so, they responded back telling me what to set the alerts to for Outlook. Worked straight away after setting it!
So far so good, would recommend this dvr as well as the supplier, they also sent me the link to be able to view the cameras from my Windows laptop! This dvr was definitely worth the money I spent on it!

Sansco cameras give a wider angle than my other cameras so very pleased, need more time to check other points.
Delivery was way earlier than mentioned pleased about I thought I would have to wait longer than is acceptable.
Needed online assistance which was solved very quickly and easy to understand especially if you are on Messenger. I changed from a 4 camera recorder to 8 price very appealing.

My first cctv system, was easy to set up, works well and got service via fb within an hour after i messed up the password
Even though it was out of warranty the support team helped me diagnose a fault by email. It turned out the the PSU (external) was failing so Sansco immediately provided a new one free of charge.
After 18 months sice instaaltion the DVR is still working very well with the 4 Sansco digital cameras (which I thoroughly recommend as good quality and easy to fit) plus one older analog camera,

Great software and easy to set up but there was no remote control and power connection splitters for the camera’s.
Having bought two of these, after some initial problems which, it turned out, were due to the power adaptors and not the DVRs themselves, Sansco went to great lengths to resolve the situation by sending out replacement DVRs and adaptors and were in regular contact with us by phone and e-mail until we were satisfied that all was working well. Cannot praise their customer service highly enough.
Very happy with this item, runs silent, worth every penny, and less than 24 hrs delivery.
This NVR is fantastic for the price and does everything, and possibly more, than some of the far more expensive ones. It was very easy to set up as the ‘wizard’ configured everything right out of the box. It has many brilliant features and is extremely quiet. The fact that it can use both analogue and IP cameras (mine is IP) is a bonus feature. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this cctv recorder just over a week now. I previously had a Dvr but it stopped working after 4 years and could not get it to work. I bought this as a replacement with a 2tB hard drive. All my cameras were existing from my old system so it was just a matter of connecting them and switching on other forgetting the hdmi cable and Ethernet and power cables.
So after turning on the power it was time to set it up. The whole intention of having cctv is to have the ability to watch it remotely via my iPhone. I followed the instructions which are really quite good. I reached a stage in those instructions where I was unable to progress further. I sent an e mail to the company and received a reply the following morning.
The reply asked me to download a bin file, copy it to my usb stick and plug it into the usb onto the Dvr. Then go into advance settings and install. This took about 20 seconds and worked. So the Dvr had a build date of March 2019 but needed a software update to make it work. Had I not have had a pc and a usb stick I would have been sending it back as faulty. Anyway happy days all is well!
Quick delivery, small sleek DVD recorder, easy set up, good picture quality.
Too early for a full review but I can confirm the customer service I received today was second to none. The box arrived an hour ago, I plugged it all in straight away – no picture. I called the customer service telephone number in the instructions. No answer and after a minute or so the call disconnected.
Now here’s the thing, about 4 minutes later I received a call back from them, unbelievable and never had that happen before! The guy said ‘sorry we missed your call’, I explained the symptoms, he told me the remedy and I am already setup and have the app working on my phone too.
Great 1080p picture, simplest UI you could hope for and great CS.

The box arrived on time and in perfect condition.
I installed this box over the weekend… it was the perfect installation. I was replacing an old box that had been installed by a previous installer with zero support from him.
Connected up the cameras, network and power supply and I was off and running. Excellent.
The UI is perfect, straight forward/ intuitive and the responce time between mouse click and the screen responce is as what you’d expect. (I mention this as for my previous box this was not the case).
Viewing playback is straight forward, and you have the option of syncing all the cameras for playback or just view one.
The instructions suggest to use the XMEYE app (I believe this is a 3rd party app); this enables you to view the cameras remotely on your smart device.
The instructions with the box explain how to configure the app to enable this feature… the first time took 10 mins, then I set it up on another 3 smart devices which took less than 5 mins each time.
As you can probably tell this is a brilliant piece of kit and I can’t recommend it enough.
I did contact the customer service in order to get more settings information to set up email alert and motion detection etc . I received detailed reply from customer service next day. They are very helpful.
Overall from my initial experience this product is really worth for the money and very simple. I mean any person can install the DVR without any technical knowledge …simply follow the very simple quick start quide comes with the DVR

Then I tried the 4 channel without a HDD. I put my old HDD from my old DVR. Putting it in was fairly easy. Unscrewed 5 screws, clipped it in and closed it.
After tampering a little with the settings, which meeds to be changed from “auto” to a specific output type. Mine worked with “ATHD”. Tried several options to try to get rid of horizontal lines in image, but couldnt. I think its due to my cameras though.
Getting the cctv online was very easy.
The 4 channel without HDD worked for me and was the cheapest. Great price for a DVR.
This is a a good product easy to install and good instructions.
