I bought these light just over a year ago and they still look great. They are a lot brighter than cheaper lights on the market and illuminate my path well.
One of the light failed this week; I contacted the company explaining the faults and their customer service was excellent. They sent a replacement light out straight away, which I received the following day; absolutely amazing service.

Good size and easy to install with posts provided. All are working well so far but I have dropped one star as one has a hairline crack (doesn’t affect appearance or working so won’t return them).
Quite big but don’t need too many in a small garden. Good light and easy to put together.

A note of warning. I ordered 3 packs of these on three separate occasions.
The second pack – all the tabs were missing – the strip you have to remove to recharge the batteries and only 2 lamps worked. Returned for a refund. Packs 1 and 2 excellent.
So – check all strips are there. Remove as per instructions and cover the solar panel. A bright light straightaway and all is well!
They’re of good quality but no brighter than the last ones I had from B&Q so I will see how they will last hence the 4 stars

I bought a set of these lights in May 2020. They are really lovely and give off a lovely glow that last and lasts in summer. In winter the light didn’t last so long (as expected) but they did still light up for several hours. The past few weeks two of the lights no longer work despite some pretty sunny days. I contacted the seller to explain, they replied within an hour and I now have two new lights on the way to me. Absolutely amazing customer service. Definitely recommend this company and these lights.
Really easy to assemble, they also produce a nice patterned silhouette on the ground when the lights are on. Bright enough to illuminate the pathway to our front door.
The lights are so easy to install, I followed the instructions and left them charging for one day before turning them on. The provide a lovely white light and glow brightly for quite a few hours. Two of my lights didn’t work, I contacted the seller in the evening not expecting are reply until the following day, however seller got back to me almost immediately and arranged to exchange my lights without hesitation.

Ordered these lights after searching on Google. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Easy to put together. They are really bright, i have bought lots in the past which are very dim or did not work. I did have a problem with one of my lights, emailed the seller they responded straight away and sent me a replacement, no quibble. I would 100% recommend these lights from this seller. Cheap as chips, so bought 2 sets. Very pleased with these. A good light, although at this time of year, do not stay on all night. My only complaint is that the tops could screw or click on more securely. They look good in a cottage garden, but not out of place in modern garden either. Good value and would buy again.
Lights were well packaged and looked good. Initially all six worked as expected but one ceased working after Two weeks. Checked battery which was ok. Disappointing as the ones that work well and look good.
I was extremely pleased with these lamps. They arrived in secure packaging and were easy to assemble. I placed them along my drive and after a few hours in the sun they were really bright that night. They have worked well ever since.

Looks great, worked straight away. Pricey but worth it. Helps my Nan see a bit better when taking the dog out in the garden. Need some more but gets quite pricey after a while. I guess you get what you pay for. Haven’t tried the cheaper ones as reviews are rubbish.

Ordered two boxes May 2020. Been in garden and operative ever since wind sun or snow. Two became faulty and intermittent. As they had lifetime warranty and my wife kept the details. These give off a lovely white light as soon as the sun comes down. All lights were working when I received them (helped by the battery tab they had to stop them going flat in the packaging). The tops were easy to attach and overall I feel that 30 was a great price for 6 lights. I mounted mine on the fence which I think helps them get more light, the garden is north facing but I’ve had no issues with the batteries recharging.
The items arrived before the promised delivery date so off to a good start. Takes only a few minutes to unpack, assemble and turn on then ready to put out in the garden. Initially they did not stay illuminated for very long but after a full day outdoors I had a good few hours worth of light from them. This will get better as we move into summer and longer hours of sunshine. I am very happy with my purchase and will probably be buying another set.

Purchased these to replace a different brand that had stopped working after three years. I am amazed at how technology has moved on. These are much brighter than other brand and do actually shine light down onto ground around them. It is only Early March and not much sun, but they are illuminating garden well and are still going strong after 11pm

You get what you pay for… cheap product that gives off low ligh
Nice and bright, but one of the units got rain water in it, causing it to give up the ghost.
Apart from this, in the summer they last through out the night, and on a nice sunny day, they charge up quickly.
A handy feature of the design is that the batteries are easy to get out if you wish to put them in a charger.
Great item although the batteries that come with this product are absolutely awful. Get some rechargeable EBL 3600mah batteries & you will be very happy.
Product did not charge sufficiently in the winter months hence gave poor short term lighting.
Looks a nice lamp but does not perform as expected.
I really like these solar lights, I’ve always liked this simple clean style and much prefer it especially at this price compared to many, many more expensive options I’ve tried over the years from different brands. To get six at this price is a bargain too so you can’t really go wrong.
The light pattern isn’t like some overpriced glass lamps where it shoots out lines, the light is soft and actually lights up the ground around the light so they are functional lighting up along your paths at night so you can see where you’re going, there is no bright reflection ruining your night vision either. My use was for the path to the chicken coop and shutting the chickens up at night.
These don’t have a TN solar panel at this price point so they like some good sunlight to get a good charge, keep this in mind if placing around trees or a south facing fence, but work just fine for me even during the winter as I go out just at the start of night time.
Look great and feel a quality product. Last a good 12 hours if fully charged. Unfortunately bought these in October and a couple that get little direct sunlight do not light up at all now. Get about 4 hours out of the ones in direct sunlight on a sunny day. I don’t think any solar lights would do any better with a built in solar panel.
These lights have served me well for over 2 years. Bright and attractive. Two of them failed recently and replacing the rechargeable batteries did not cure the problem. The original Amazon description and the original packaging referred to a Lifetime Warrenty. Amazon customer support rejected this but I contacted the US suppliers and they sent a full replacement set to me in France 3 working days later. Incredible service. How refreshing!
The major downside is that the solar panels have suffered in the sunlight. I guess something has reacted and they’re mostly white now and not very effective. Because of the state of the panels, they don’t charge the batteries very well and manage a couple of hours at most. New batteries haven’t really made much difference.
Perhaps a light wet sanding may rejuvenate them but I was hoping they’d survive a bit better than they have.

Easy to use and install. Still new so can’t comment on durability but they’re bright enough to walk safely but not so you feel guilty about them being on, Really impressed with customer service as there was a problem with our first set and this was dealt with super efficiently.
I have had many previous lights in my garden but after a few months water gets in and they are no good. So far these have stood the latest storms we have had and still shine brightly. The other fantastic things is they have a lifetime guarantee and replaced without question hopefully I will not have to test this. These lights are good to look and pretty sturdy at but the amount of light they create (so far as I have only had them a few days) isn’t brilliant. I have other solar lights which are no longer in circulation and they give out a lot of light and these are subdued compared to those. However, as they are just to fill a gap in the other lights they will suffice.
I use the lights for a path to the end of my garden they are bright but the stakes that go into the ground are not easy to push down on and u can’t hammer them down or u will damage them the plastic on them does also seem a little cheap looking
This product is simple to install – the lights are not too bright but they look fine in the dark in the garden.
Generally happy with the product. Only thing is that of the 16 lights in the package, 1 would not work. Waiting for the seller to respond on how to get this replaced – hoping they will help sort this out, would be a pain to have to take up all other 15 and send the full 16 back for a refund.
Update: seller promptly responded to my message about the one light that didn’t work and sent a replacement in a couple of days.
I was pleased with these spike lights. Usually I buy the crackle glazed spike lights which are 3 for ten pounds at the garden centre but they usually end up getting damp in them and rust and dont last long. These are brighter than those type of lights so i was pleased with this. The glass is clear not crackle so these give a nice clear light to start with.
Initially Looked nice when fitted and working. But over the course of less than a year they began to fail. Contacted customer service who were excellent and agreed to replace the faulty lights. 4 stars mainly for customer service, hopefully these will last longer!
Loved the design, easy to install .. they stay on for about 4/5 hrs at present, and brightness is relatively good. One of the spikes was damaged when received (creased at one end so i couldn’t insert the spoike or the light part), this would have been like that when packaged as it a steel pole and i wasn’t able to get the crease out so i had to improvise with something else.
All 6 worked from box….quite bright so does what it says on the box.
Couple of things to look out for;
I would not say that these things were robust. Care must be exercised when assembling them….be gentle. I assume we are paying a premium due to the lifetime guarantee and quality of product.
Oh yes dont forget the take the film off the solar panels 🙂
Been a week so far and no issues
I bought these last May and was quite pleased with them. However 2 of the lights recently stopped working. I emailed the seller who sent replacements immediately without quibble. Excellent customer service.
The quality of the lamps is good and they were very easy to assemble and install in the garden. Only reason for the 4* review is that the sun has not shone since I installed them so I’ve not seen them illuminated as yet!
The first batch I received 1 out of the 6 failed to work. Contacted the seller and they sent a whole new box of them out to me within a couple of days so was impressed with that. They are easy to assemble and place where you want. Being winter in Scotland they don’t get much sunlight during the day so I find that removing the batteries and charging them outside the lights works better at the moment. Also not sure how long they stay on for during the night. They came on when it was dark (around 4pm at the moment) and were still on when I went to bed around 11pm. However they were off when I checked them around 6:30-7am the next morning when it was still dark. I do think the light could be a little brighter. Overall for the price and the fact they guarantee lifetime replacements then I find these lights fit for purpose
I like this product and have as I say, bought more. They do not go on forever but are worth having nevertheless.
Ordered two sets of lights (a dozen). I have had them in place for two months and I am generally impressed with the lights.
It would have been 5 stars except for the fact that one of the lights is faulty and stopped working within a day> I wasnt able to get it replaced.
They are really nice and most of them so far seem to work really well, from 9pm till 2am and still going apart from one. I tried to contact the seller for a replacement of that one but no luck. Amazon were kind enough to help but just be aware that the lifetime guarantee doesn’t seem to be a thing unless someone knows any different how I resolve this?
One would expect being brighter they would not remain on as long, not so, my wife looked out of the window at 4am and they were still it.
They provide excellent light for garden plants, but are equally as good along the edge of pathways, providing sufficient light to walk down the pathway safely at night. They look even more stunning when the paths are wet.
Well worth the extra cost, we purchased a second pack we were so pleased.

I’ve used these to add a decorative effect to our driveway, and to that end, they are excellent. They produce a nice white light that looks really pretty. If you need them for actual illumination, you may want to look at some form of low voltage mains-driven lights as these are unlikely to save you tripping over and breaking your neck (unless you live somewhere VERY dark!).
They work really well, coming on as the light fades and lasting a good few hours (as far as I can tell – I’ve never witnessed them turning off).
You can use them either at full height, or skip one section to make them shorter. They’re entirely plastic, so quite light weight and possibly brittle. I worry about them in very strong winds as the head is not stuck on to thestem, other than by friction. Therefore I simply disconnect the light bit, leaving the stems stuck in the ground. It only takes 30 seconds to take them all off and put them back and saves one blowing away! You could easily go around with a glue gun and fix them together, as I may do at some point.
The only reason I haven’t given these 5 starts is because 1 fills up with water when it rains. Batteries which are rechargeable are supplied however I did replace them for AA with a larger capacity. The new batteries last more than all night on 1 charge but the ones that come with it don’t last a full night. The solar function didn’t play a part in how long they last as I charged the batteries that came with the lights in a battery charger before putting them in the lights. They are bigger than I expected, most you can get from the high Street are half the size of these. They are very bright a light the path up well.
The first set I got of these didn’t work, perhaps because the location is northeast Scotland and in winter the sun is very low on the horizon, if there is any. The seller surprised me by immediately sending a second set, which did work. Of course, with a short day and even shorter period of sunshine, I didn’t expect too much but to their credit the lights have worked quite well, even in snowfall and temperatures of -4C. They do not stay on for long, perhaps a couple of hours in January. I had not expected them to be triggered by headlights; they go off (if they are on) when headlights hit them and come back on, and if they are off they come on when headlights hit them. Even more surprising, some of the first set have started to work.
They were very easy to assemble and use. As far as durability is concerned they have been working fine for 4 days, bur due to the dull weather limiting the charge the illumination time is a bit short.
They work quite well during the summer, however now the weather has changed as we have little direct sunlight, they don’t charge well and if they come on at all during sunset, they are off again an hour later.
They look nice when they work but the British winter means we only get a few months of proper use from them.
Will keep using for now, but like most solar products they are restricted depending on the weather.
They were easy & quick to assemble and push into the lawn. Once switched on, they don’t require further involvement.
UPDATE: A year on and these are mostly still going strong. When the days are shorter and the sun is pretty much absent then don’t expect the lights to get much charge.
However when we have some sun they charge quite well and are very bright for a good few hours.
I reported the leaking lights to the seller who sent be out some replacements without issue straight away. I sent the email Sunday – Tues we took delivery of the new lights. Can’t fault that – brilliant customer service – no hassle.
The life time warranty makes these worth every penny as they are good bright lights which are ideal for lighting pathways and areas that need some illuminating without going to the trouble of wired outdoor lighting.
The other half of going to run a bit of clear silicone around the solar panel on the new lights and also the existing ones to ensure they keep the rain out and I expect this will extend their life even more.
Top item for a reasonable price and great customer service from the seller means I rate these 5/5.

Dislike: top unit is a bit of a loose fit to the stake, meaning it can easily fall off in the wind. All six the same.
Base of stake is a good tight fit to the upright portion. Unable to say about durability so left at 4 stars as seem fairly strong.
Today was a little sunnier and I’ve added a picture to show the amount of light they throw out. I don’t think the photo does them justice, as I said, I’ve bought several different types in the past and I’m well impresses with how they light up the area around them.
The lifetime guarantee is a real bonus too, how many of us keep a receipt from a garden centre for a year in order to make a claim if they give up?
All in all, I’m glad I bought them, hopefully I won’t need the warranty, but good to know it’s there.
Buy them, you won’t be disappointed,I’ve also saved money by buying the bronze instead of silver and think they look really nice and tasteful.
2019 – Update
Whilst almost all 12 lights came back to life after winter, several of them were very dim compared to the others. I contacted the seller, it was dealt with immediately, replacements were sent out within a couple of days – I really would like to commend them, the service was outstanding, the lamps look good, are very bright and there’s no doubt the merchant cares about customer satisfaction.
They were very easy to put together and look very stylish.
No problems so far.
I have put the lights in my flowerpots which I have all around the garden, so had no problem pushing them in.
Very happy with my purchase.
I cannot coment on their durability as we havent had them that long. What I will be watching out for is the solar panel degrading in the sun which has happend to several we have bought before.
Arrived promptly and well packaged. They were simple to put together and all the components fitted tightly together forming a good solid light. They charged in the time stated. I had hoped for a slightly brighter light but it is sufficient for my needs and the price paid. A 4.5 rating would be closer to my actual rating, the reduction made is for the slightly dimmer bulb, and that a true test is made over time. I opted for this product as it has a lifetime guarantee as most lights like this seem to only last a year or two.

Lights are fab although remember they are made from plastic so be careful when you’re pushing them into the ground, I may have cracked one or two! Completely my fault and they are still fine, you’d never know! They look really great dotted around the garden. The only problems I have are a: there’s not enough sun at the moment to charge them long into the night (that’s our British summer time for you!) and b: my very naughty dog thought it would be a good idea to grab one, run around the garden with it and then give it a bit of a chew!! It still works though and they all still look great. Would highly recommend and can’t wait for those ‘proper’ summer evenings to show them off!
5 worked and 1 didn’t. The batteries are too small, only 300mAh so only light the LED for 2 hours. I bought 2500mAh batteries and now they light for 4 days before needing a recharge. I don’t expect them to recharge themselves at the moment as it is winter with little sunlight. They turn on and off as you would expect at dusk and dawn and are nice and bright. The quality of the plastic enclosure is quite good and robust.
I love the lights. When they are on they are bright, but one of them kept going on and off. The batteries after 4 days were not recharging well. I was only getting 2 hours max light from them. I changed the batteries for new ones I already had. First night they were lovely. Now only 2-3 hours and they are off. My other solar lights are still flickering when I get up at 6.30 a.m. When I looked at the light that was flickering. A wire was loose.Such a shame, I’ve thrown the box away. Hold on to the box for a while (just in case).
The following day, quite by coincidence, the seller contacted me to ensure the package had arrived safety and in good condition and asked whether the lights were to my satisfaction. I replied that they were just what I had been looking for and I was delighted with them but was a little perplexed about the ones that had gone out. The seller advised that solar lights should really be charged for a couple of days in the ‘off’ position – something I wasn’t previously aware of – and that should prevent the lights going out after just a couple of hours. In view of any disappointment that I might be feeling she said she would arrange for another set of lights to be sent to me free of charge, a more than generous goodwill gesture which I certainly didn’t expect. It wasn’t as though they were broken or anything. A day or so later another box arrived and I did exactly as the seller had advised with regard to charging them. They all work perfectly now, including the first set, and along with these, plus a couple of older solars that are still in working order, my lights can probably be seen from Mars. It’s a good job my garden is square rather than long otherwise it might well be mistaken for a flight path! I now have more than enough solar lights to keep me going for a long time, too many in fact, so will be giving some to one of my daughters for her garden.

My arms thrust out ahead of me, I stumbled into the darkness. Black and bloodied, weary of tripping again. The lights give a soft localised glow, enough to find your way in the dark. They don’t last the night in winter, but run through until morning in the summer. They are unobtrusive and attractive in the flower beds.
