It is a small but powerful little fan. It oscillates! Water can be filled in tank for added humidity. Wouldn’t advice adding essential oils cause I did and it caused the holes to be blocked. Had to pour out and wash tank out with a tiny bit of soap and water. But fan is a good size. And has a rechargeable battery, so can be used in the garden!

Compact, not too noisy, you can watch the TV or sleep with it on. The remote has not button to turn on/off, it has only for speed, timer and oscillate the fan. Quite compact, ideal for small flats.

Excellent product – even though it comes from the far east (Donald Trumps favorite country!) Small, quiet but very powerful, battery last ages – very impressive. Just make sure Amazon sends you as new one and not a used one as we got. Dirty and with no charging cable or instructions!

Make sure you receive a new one!

I do like the fan although it’s not the most pleasing to look at because it folds up so the base looks a bit strange when it’s unfolded. The instructions were somewhat baffling too – I think a better translator from Chinese to English might need to be found!

Love this adjustable fan, looks great and the adjustable height and ability to become compact for storage is perfect.
Only negative is that it claims to be silent, I wouldn’t say it was silent, but it is very very quiet, and perfectly quiet enough to get to sleep to in a room on these hot nights.
Would recommend and potentially buy another for the office, although it is very light and portable. Also the battery lasts for ages.

The fan is slightly bigger than I expected but that’s okay, just thought it was smaller. To me, it’s not exactly lightweight but not heavy that I can’t lift/carry with one arm (I am a 5’1 girl, 22 if that matters).

Well, I think the fan is pretty amazing, it can be folded up for storage, can be put into desk mode if you want it to sit on your desk and can also be extended to place on the floor.

The sound isn’t silent, no. On the lowest setting it’s more like a soft hum? It’s only a tiny bit louder than my gaming PC fans. The more powerful it is the louder it gets, as I would expect it to.

The little remote that comes with it is cute, just don’t misplace it. The only thing I would’ve wanted different about it is for the power button to be included on it too. There’s 4 buttons on the fan itself and 3 on the remote, the on/off button excluded from the remote which I would’ve liked on there. Not too much of a problem though. The front of it is magnetic and can be stuck in the middle of the fan, the back isn’t magnetic.

The fan itself doesn’t turn/rotate, when you put it in oscillate mode the WHOLE thing turns, so the top half of the base + the rod + the fan. It’s pretty cool but I really just expected the fan to turn, not the whole thing.

I like that you can use it wirelessly so it’s portable to be used anywhere, or you can use it wired, best of all is that the connection is Type C. The Type C cable is also provided.

The rod can be adjusted to any length, it’s sturdy, so it won’t suddenly collapse when you set it to a custom length.

Overall, I’d say it’s a decent purchase and worth it if you don’t want to spend hundreds but also not get a cheap fan that’ll break in days. It’s around 60.50 with a 10% discount voucher, so comes to 54.45 total.

    Worth the buy

    Pros
    – Light weight, portable, fancy looking, foldable
    – 5 levels of fan. Technically the strongest level is level 4, level 5 is a dynamic level. I feel cool between level 2-4 most of the time.
    – Have a mini remote
    Cons
    – Just like other comments, it is not as quiet as it described.
    – It comes from China and no warranty
    – No plug provided. So I have to find my apple plug for usb charging

I would say you can get a better fan for the same price.

Nice but not the best for a budget fa

Great little fan – good looking, effective cooling and can blow in different angles and heights. Solid and easy to use. Easy to store nealty folding up. The fan does make some noise but it fades into the background for me. Not something I would use at night to sleep with unless desperate! Knocked a star off for the inordinate amount of time it takes to charge fully. But it does work while charging if needed. Would prefer faster charge, but doesn’t work with the rapid charge plugs. Also need to supply your own plug/charger. The cable with USB end is provided. You also can’t turn it on and off with the little remote. But not a huge issue unless it is placed somewhere out of reach. The negatives are outweighed by the positives, no regrets getting it.

Amazing fan. Folds up well, just be careful as the remote is very small. The plug does get hot when first using it but I’ve had mine plugged in continuously now for over 2 weeks and it’s no longer hot. It’s expensive for what it is but the design and how it works is perfect would deffo recommend. The fact you can use it without it been plugged in as well is brilliant. Only small thing is the fact is it wireless as well so sometimes when folding it up you can accidentally start it but it’s only a minor thing x

    Amazing

Worth the money. Quiet enough for overnight use, good battery duration, good power on the fan, looks nice and neat, looks well made and is really convenient and lightweight for use.

I questioned the battery in the remote because it’s not a typical ‘pop out easy to replace’ job, but for the very minimal occasions I would actually need to get a new battery for the tiny remote, not an issue at all to manually replace. (you need to check out the video in the ‘answered questions’ section of the amazon listing for a quick demo).

Not the tallest fan but it’s super adjustable so I wouldn’t say it needs to be. One of my best purchases, I think.

Quiet, compact, lightweight, decent fan powe

I bought 2 of these primarily for their ability to fold right down into a compact size that you can store in a cupboard. From that perspective they are great. They are quite effective in operation for their size, nice and quiet and attractively designed.

However there are some issues. One is that the telescopic arm doesn’t open fully vertical – it stands at a bit of an angle facing inwards which looks a bit odd. The USB-C socket is at the side whereas it would be better at the back, plus it’s quite hard to unplug it without pulling the wire, which isn’t great for longevity of the cable. Finally you just get a USB lead, no charger/plug, so you’ll need to buy one separately, rated at 2A minimum, if you haven’t already got one. These are relatively minor things but mark it down a notch for me.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOk, so the price is more than you’d pay for a reflexive “oh god the sun is out” purchase but this fan has it all, for me.
I needed something small… ish. You know, that “small but I need to feel it” middle ground and this hits the spot. Not only the spot but several spots as this cheeky fan rotates on its base silently giving a really nice flow of air distribution. Did I mention the tiny – SUPER tiny – remote? Its so small and weightless it could be mistaken for a piece for an old board game, also has a magnet inside it so you can throw it at your nearest metallic surface – which you should, immediately, as you will lose it instantly.
Fan speeds are 4 main ones followed by a 5th flexible, spontaneously changing speed mode attempting to replicate natural wind variations.
This little gem folds down beautifully via its rotating head and telescopic neck and sits on its base in a very satisfying and solid manner. The plastic is of very high quality and feels firm and secure around the fan blade with the added awesomeness of being able to undo one little screw to twist-remove its fan cage to clean the blades.
Yep, this thing has an automatic timer that can switch it off at 30/60/90 minutes and this is so useful for conserving its very generous battery life.
It has a little cubby insert so it can accommodate an add-on humidifier spray which is sold separately.

    So, THE BAD?
Well, it won’t charge on a PD 3.0 USB-C charger. It takes quite a while to charge because, frankly, it has a very basic set of charging electronics inside. Granted, its nice to see a USB-C connector but it behaves like a mini-USB insofar as charging speed.
It’s little on-board charging manager only supports good old fashioned USB 3.1 which can be via almost any mobile phone charger to date but as phone charging improves further into the PD standard, you may wish to hold on to your old charger to keep this thing juiced up.
Is this “Bad”? Depends on your use but for me I feel it was a big let down from what is easily an amazing product.
My use for this fabulously delicious SnowPea fan is for my campervan. I’ve wired the whole thing for USB-C charging of any device I have via 3 x 100W solar panels on the roof and it works really well, but this fussy little charging fan insists on an older charger I have.

Despite this only, but irritating, flaw, this fan is a really good example of engineering gone right. Yes, so the indicator LEDs cannot be seen from any angle apart from directly above them, charging is fussy and the flimsy, plasticy remote will be constantly searched for if not magnetised to a surface but, for me, easily are forgivable for such a well thought out product. It’s quiet, very. Not silent, no, but quiet enough for me to sleep all night with it gently whispering away whilst oscillating, on the warm nights.

    Highly recommended

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis was my first fan I ever bought to help us with an apartment where we have no option to circulate air and it gets very stiff. I love the colour as white fans make me think of hospitals and waiting rooms.
The fan is very powerful yet super quiet at the same time, in a normal household you will not hear it during the day. I also use it at night on the lowest level and the humming is barely hearable and it sound a lot like white noise, I guess because it is so monotone it might make fall asleep easier.
It is also very small and compact, which was the main reason why I bought it. It fold into such small size that it fits under my bed when I am not using it.

It is small neat and lightweight.

I used this all summer in my lounge which is quite a long large room and it was able to cool the room which is so surprising as its a smallish fan.

    Things I absolutely love –
    – lightweight
    – easily and quickly charged
    – can be used without being plugged in so can move around the house
    – folds down completely
    – easy to store

This fan is an absolute God send. During the August heatwave we just had, I could only have it on the lowest setting during the night as it’s quite cold. I love the fact that it’s portable, height adjustable and oscillates. Once charged (USBC charging) it lasts for hours. It’s very quiet, so please don’t be put off by the negative reviewers who say it’s noisy. We have a Dyson Tower fan and that is noisy and to be honest no way as cold as the Snowpea. The only downside is, you can’t switch it on using the remote control but on the plus side the remote attaches magnetically to the middle of the fan so you’ll never lose it. On the whole a very good fan for the money.

    Worth every penny!

Arrived next day and well packaged. This fan caught my eye, and the description of features helped me make the decision to purchase. Took it out of the box and was able to use straight away as it was already charged. A quick read of the simple instructions and I figured out how to unfold and extend the the arm etc. On the lowest setting it is whisper quiet, which makes it ideal for cooling me down to help fall asleep, and you can set the timer to switch off from a choice of 30 to 90 minutes. When in oscllating mode the unit moves smoothly and slowly. There is a choice of 5 speed settings and oscillating function. The handy small remote controls the speed, timer and oscillating functions. A good idea that the remote control is magnetic so can be attached to the centre of the fan so you always know where it is. Great that you can fold it down when not in use, then takes up little room. The fact that this is easily transportable, you can take it with you so you can cool down on picnics etc (as long as you remember to keep it fully charged or take a power bank with you. Overall this is a brilliantly designed, multi functional and reliable fan, with a justifiable price tag.

Works well. On fan speed 5 it alternates the speed every few seconds from slower to faster. Seems to only be two different alternating speeds but it is a thing. Speed 4 is actually the fastest constant.

It ain’t too loud. For the size and airflow rate it’s better then the generic floor fans. For price I’d say it’s worth the compactness for each of transport and considering it’s portable and can run without being plugged in I’d say is worth it. Still oscillates aswell, though it’s the base that turns but it turns as far as a generic floor fan does.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersEven at the lowest setting, you have the hum of the motor – you just have to try it and see if that’s okay for you.
But the fan itself is smooth running and very quiet, and it is a nice unit that would not be out of place even in a minimalist home!
The translation of the chinese(?) user guide into english is poor and inaccurate, so I’m writing this review with some pointers below to help anyone who does choose to buy it.
I was unable to exchange communication with the seller via amazon (when I was trying to establish whether it was working as intended) – I had to do it by personal email to the address on the card enclosed in the packaging.
Amazon – maybe you could look into this?

The main thing right from the start, is probably to know about battery charging:
    – in the UK you’ll need one of those 3 pin mains plugs that has a USB port, like a phone charger. This gets very hot when charging, especially if you run the fan at the same time. I would personally therefore not leave it running unattended while also plugged into the mains.
    – it takes a LONG time to reach fully charged especially if running the fan – overnight was not sufficient – though it does then run for a long time on battery – and it WILL EVENTUALLY indicate the battery is full as follows…
    – …whilst plugged into the mains, whether or not you are simultaneously running the fan at whatever speed, the Red light next to the Lightning (not lighting!) symbol blinks on & off – it WILL EVENTUALLY change to a still White light (not a green light as suggested by manufacturer/seller) when the battery is full.
    – on battery, the white light will turn red when the battery is getting low – or the fan will just stop if it gets to empty.
    – I did attempt to give it a full charge before first use, as I was not sure what type of rechargeable battery it was, ie whether it was the sort that needs a full charge followed by a full discharge to fully “prime” it so that you get full battery capacity going forward. The user guide does not give any indication about battery type and whether this is necessary. I therefore don’t know if I’m getting full battery capacity, as I continued to have a blinking red light for at least the first use and I still don’t know what type of battery it is (NiMH or Lithium Ion?)

If I learn anything more that’s helpful, I’ll add to this review.

This comes very smartly packaged, so it is perhaps no surprise that the fan itself is very well designed. The ingenious design starts out as a shallow drum which when opened separates into a base and the fan unit which are connected by the telescopic stand, and of course the whole thing folds away again just as easily yo the compact drum, making it very easy to store away.

Operation is easy either from the base unit with the remote, and it is reasonably quiet in use even on the highest setting. The fan can be set on static or to rotate. The highest setting is perhaps not as forceful as some fans, but it is powerful enough especially if you are close to the fan. I find this altogether preferable to our several tower fans.

This fan has been brilliant for the intense heat we have had in the last few days, although it is much cooler now the fan is still useful for circulating air around the room.
This fan has a few functions that I’ve never seen on a fan before; firstly it folds within itself making it extremely portable and easy to store and secondly; it has a built-in battery that lasts a long time, being wireless also increase the portability that I’d mention earlier. Once the battery has run low, you can run it off mains power or any device that has a USB output.
The fan also has a remote that be secured away at the front of the fan, it has a range of 80m working distance which is no mean feat. Also, a digital display finishes off the appeal.
A really good portable fan that packs a lot of useful techs.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI really wasn’t expecting much from this fan but boy was I wrong. So here are the key points:

    – It comes fully assembled
    – It Is very compact when folded up and could easily travel with you on holiday.
    – The telescopic stand provides infinite adjustment up of the height of the fan and the fan itself tilts all the way round, though it is quite stiff to start with.
    – The battery built into the base is easy to charge and allows the fan to be placed pretty much anywhere without a power cable. Battery seems to easy pretty well can be used whilst charging.
    – The fan has 5 speeds including 4 normal and a 5th which is like a breeze function.
    – On the lowest speed it is very quiet in a room (which I thought was silent at 26db) it only measured 46db and at full speed 54db.
    – The lowest speed is really effective and can be felt easily at over 1m with no buffeting.
    – The fan oscillation works well as does the remote except it doesn’t have an on/off on the remote.

Take a look at the video above to see what I mean about the quality of the airflow.

Great fan for hot summer nights or on your desk at work.

    Hopefully you found review helpful.

    I love this fan.

As you can see from the photos I uploaded, I am reviewing the Snowpea portable fan in WHITE.

I didn’t think I could get excited by a fan, but there are so many features in this fan that I really do like it. The features that I like:

    1. The fan can be compressed down into a very portable size (as you can see in my first photo). I can imagine taking this in the car with us when we go to hired cottages in the hotter months of the year. It doesn’t take up very much space so will be easy to pack away in the winter as well.

    2. The fan telescopes up to a good height. At full height, this is high enough to send cool air at us on our bed. A lot of desk fans are fairly short and need to be placed on a desk or chair. In contrast, this Snowpea fan can be placed on the floor but still circulate air at waist height.

    3. The fan can be operated without being plugged in. This is something I have not seen before and will mean that we can move the fan around without worrying about power sockets or trailing leads. For example, we have no power sockets in the bathroom, but this fan could be placed in the bathroom.

    4. The fan is charged via a USB cable rather than a 3-pin plug. For me, this is a bonus as we already have so many USB chargers all over the house.

    5. The fan can be set to oscillate from side to side, spraying the room with cool air. Of course, many fans do this. However, the fact that this compact, portable fan does it is almost a surprising feature.

    6. The LED display tells you what power setting it is on and also when it is charging. Our other (cheaper) fans in the home don’t have LED displays.

    7. The fan comes with its own little remote control. The remote control is small enough to fit into my fist – in fact, it’s so small it might be fairly easy to lose it. In all honesty, I don’t think we will actually use the remote control all that often – but it does make it a bit more fun having one.

We really like the stylish design and many features of this fan. We’re so pleased to have it in our home and are very much enjoying using it.

    Awesome fan with great features

When I opened up the box what I saw was completely different from the product page but it only took 20 seconds to “assemble” it (I even accidentally turned it on whilst assembling!)
It uses a lot more battery power when rotating and on the highest fan setting, but to be honest the rotation is extremely slow and only a 90 degree angle so not even worth using. It rotates o the base you cant see, making it look like it’s on wheels like a robot vacuum cleaner!
It looks so cool and the fact that its cordless is brilliant as I can put this at the end of my bed without having leads trailing across the floor!
It’s also pretty quiet – you could definitely sleep with it on, on the lower settings.
    I love it!
Also love the instructions which tells you to press the “Shake your head button” (rotate) lol!

It took a long time to make sense of the instructions, which suffer from a not very good translation. It took even longer to charge from zero, probably because in the present heatwave we wanted some benefit from the fan straight away. Good news: although you can only achieve settings 1 and 2 while charging, both of these are useful and provide a decent breeze. And once charged, the range of settings is pretty good.

The fan is very quiet, easy to unpack and commission, and can be used in several different positions — as a table top fan, or floor mounted with infinite adjustment. Both positions oscillate if required, and the fan head tilts as well.

You can’t switch the fan on and off with the remote, and — contrary to what the instructions say — the remote isn’t rechargeable; instead it has a coin shaped battery. But neither of those are problems.

Overall, I think the fan was a good buy. If it lasts a few years it will be a great buy. I only wish I’d had it a few days earlier.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve had a lot of fans over the years both corded and rechargeable from small to large and this one is the most interesting and flexible of them all (and there’s been a long list!!). What’s so innovative about this is that it compacts down to such a small footprint, so nice and small to store in the winter. Also ideal for taking away with you on your hols, even abroad if you’ve got the luggage space! Brilliant for camping and caravanning and it will really show its value when your stifling in an airless chalet, tent or in a hotel room or cottage, you’ll be very pleased you’ve purchased one when this happens!

So what’s so good about it? See below:
    1. it’s so compact, everything folds inside of it, so you’re left with a something about the size of a round cake/quality street tin.
    2. It comes fully assembled, no building, screwing or clipping together.
    3. When you open the fan the fan is ready to go.
    4. The height can be increased five-fold, with a collapsing pole that you can pull up and push down to the height you need (from 48.5cm-93.5cm) – excellent!
    5. We did find the pole a bit stiff at first, but it’s getting easier to do as we use it more and we get used to this function.
    6. You can angle the fan head to 180 degrees, so it can fan vertically if you need it to! Such as if your decorating a ceiling etc.
    7. It oscillates 120 degrees. It does through moving the base rather than the fan head moving. This works smoothly and easily.
    8. The controls are straight-forward and can be used manually from the fan itself.
    9. It’s got a rather cute button remote that works well and can be stored within the compact unit with practice.
    10. It’s has a really useful timer function, so ideal for falling asleep with.
    11. It’s quite quiet, not too loud to sleep through or to hear the TV when in use.
    12. There are five speed levels, one for any occasion, and provides a good stiff breeze on the upper levels, with gentler airflow on the lower settings.
    13. It’s well balanced and doesn’t topple over in use
    14. It uses a standard USB charging cable, so you’re likely to have one in hand if you mislay the supplied charging cable.
    15. We love the green colour!
    16. It charges quickly and holds its charge well and can also be charged from a high capacity power banks if camping with no electricity.
So we love this fan, it’s great in the home, but will come into its own on holiday (hopefully in Sept ). From our viewpoint it offers great value for money, especially with its functionality. Recommended from our household to yours!

    Overview:
First impressions, this fan folds into a compact round case, which is quite important as in most cases, we need to store fans for sunny warm days. This is an excellent design feature. The lowest setting is mild without being overpowering & cool you down gently.

    Pros:

    -Foldable & Space saving
-DC motor better than traditional fans
    -Ultra silent
    -5 speeds
    -rotating
    -extendable & adjustable neck
    -timer function
-remote control (tiny & easy to store)
-USB C Charging (easier to move around, no need to plug in)
    -colour alternative to white

    Cons:
    -would like more interesting colours

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPackaged extremely nicely! No setup required so hassle free installation, just take out of box and unfold for immediate operation! Wow!!! I am very very very impressed!!! The internal battery was fully charged so could use straight away. The base rotates very smoothly and quietly like some futuristic invention! The fan and motor is extremely quiet!! Wow! It has four speeds and the 5th seems to give out a pulse motion of the fan which is very unique! I got the green colour, like army colour green, it’s very nice looking, about 1 metre high at max so suitable for room standing or can retract for desktop use!! The little remote works fantastic too with a little tiny beep from the fan to let u know the setting has been received. It magnets onto front where I’m assuming it also charges from that? Very nice! Would totally recommend!! This will sell out quickly for sure!! Thank you for a great product, not disappointed at all!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMuch needed fan for summer, it’s light weight, much better than the usual ones, because the size is what I wanted, not big or small in size.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI think this fan is fantastic, what could you complain about? It has 5 speeds and is noiseless. I have always
rejected the idea of a fan because of the noise most of them make, but this is my idea of heaven. Many
    thanks. jt456
