As I was reclining for the very first time I was freaking out that I was going to tip but to my relief I did not . Reclines further then I expected but when fully reclined I felt secure.
The head rest is movable/detachable to is perfect for any height.

These chairs are strong and well made, but quite heavy. Great for the garden but I can’t lift them to get them in the car for a trip out. Also the recline function is great if you are lightweight but larger adults will find it more tricky. But the cup holder is useful and the chair is very comfortable.
I was sick of cheap sun loungers falling apart within a few months. Decided to spring for some more expensive ones. So worth it. The chairs have been out in the rain for a couple months and look new. They are super comfy and easy to clean and dry. Excellent. I will definitely buy these again.
This is a user friendly and comfortable chair. My only slight disappointment is that it doesn’t tip back quite as much to the near horizontal position as other similar chairs I’ve had in the past.

We have an outside catering business and often only get 3-4 hours sleep per night when we are working. In these cases we tend to sleep “on site”, more often than not on a camping mat, under a duvet. So we decided to add a little bit of comfort but buying these chairs to sleep on and what a night’s sleep !!? A single, 10 tog duvet on the chair and a double 10 tog duvet over each of us. Pure bliss. Others have mentioned the chair couldn’t take their weight, but I’m 185cm and 90 kilos and they took me in their stride, even with my 7 year old snuggled up with me.
They seem very robust, were supremely comfortable, unfold fold and recline easily and have a pair of trigger-like locking mechanisms that work very well. The cap and phone holders simply slot in place on either side of the frame and are suitable for most standard cups, glasses, cans and phones. All in all, a 6 product. Would I recommend ? Damned right I will. Would I buy again ? We will almost certainly be buying more for our kids and staff for future events.
Love them. They are easy to erect and are very comfortable. The sun shade actually came in useful during this terrible summer. Already well used by family and friends. The cup holder and mobile holder are great.

They arrived in time, within 2 days (one being Sunday). Well packed. They are sturdy chairs, good quality. The only thing to note is that my husband is 6ft 2in and he finds his legs stick out and the back is not high enough for him. So if you are tall, maybe look for a bigger and longer version.
Bought for lounging in the garden. They could easily be taken on holiday although they are bulky if short of room. They are very comfortable to sit in and also when tipped back. I find the action of tipping back fairly difficult, but m husband doesn’t. There is a knack to it and once learnt, the chairs are good. Once tipped back, they can be locked into position so very safe. Like the cup holders also!
Have used for quite some time now. occasional use. easy to move, open up and close and provides a comfortable lounger in the sun. They are pretty compact when closed, so easy to store. You cant turn over and lie on your front, they are just for sitting and leaning quite far back. perfect for those positions and happy i bought 2.

Cup holders are so easy to install on the chair. Takes a few seconds max. Also a place to put your phone as well.
Chair reclines a lot and gives supreme comfort. You can choose to sit up or you can lay back and relax in the baking sunshine. It really is amazing.
Lock feature is also fantastic, although I don’t think it’s fully necessary unless you want to lie back at a certain angle. Personally I’m either sitting up or lying back fully so I don’t use it much. But it’s great to have as I’m sure certain people will make use of it.
Getting two of these was also really splendid. It would be a fantastic gift for a friend or family member. Or you can simply have a spare one.
I’m so satisfied with this product that I’m keeping the seats inside to keep them in this magical condition.

We have had similar models to these from elsewhere but these are a completely different quality altogether! Much more robust, look better, have a lock mechanism so no accident sitting up or trying to balance back. A table for drink and phone and a large shade that is adjustable and easily folds back against the back Of the chair and locks into place. Really pleased with these, they were a little more than we wanted to spend but as we’ve not been anywhere and not going anywhere on hols at the moment we felt it was justified!
Very comfortable and well made but the locking feature is practically useless. It’s ok when you’re sat upright with the locks on but very slowly the chairs begin to recline until you find yourself almost horizontal. You can slow it down by putting your feet on the bottom horizontal bar but in reality there are only two positions with these chairs – upright or horizontal!
We wanted a reasonably priced but well made recliner for a, hopefully sunny, staycation. We bought the Sunmer as a pair and not too expensive but also not cheap. Super comfortable and easy to use. The sun canopy and cup holder are very useful. Very happy so far. The only minor negatives are: 1) not so easy to get a mug in the cup holder; 2) only black colour was available – this may grow on us eventually.
Extremely comfortable chairs. The swivel action and locking mechanism are excellent. The loose weave of the material means air can circulate and I’m therefore not sitting in a puddle of sweat. For me, as a bloke, the sun shade was essential.
Just in case you think I’m sponsoring this product (I’m not), I do have one criticism: The arm rests are not padded. I read my Kindle (again not sponsored) for 3 or 4 hours a day sitting in this chair by the end of which time my elbows are ruined. I’ve resorted to wrapping towels round the arm rests.

very similar chairs for 60 a pair I feel that I have been ripped off I would recommend people to shop around.Habitat sell exactly same chairs for 30 each.
The chairs are easy to fold, when you want to put them away. A little tricky setting them up, but think this will improve with use. They are very comfortable and are very easy to lock and unlock to get the position you want. A definite good buy.
Buying these was probably a bit on the optimistic side given that I live in the far north of Scotland. Lounging in the sun isn’t something that you can rely on being able to do. However, with the Covid pandemic causing everyone to spend more time at home I thought I’d take a chance. I’m so glad I did. We have had some decent late summer weather so I have been able to use them more often than I imagined. The chairs have been excellent. They come ready to use and are easy to fold out into position. The recline position is achieved simply by pushing a foot bar and leaning back. They look good; feel sturdy and are extremely comfortable. When you have finished using them they fold away quickly and easily. I really cannot fault them in any way.
Love these chairs! Easy to fold, simple to adjust and holds a drink and mobile phone. The drinks holder can even hold cups/mugs as well as glasses. The shade is also really useful. Perfect for reading in the garden on sunny days. My only negative is that I only bought one set and the kids keep trying to nick them! So may have to invest in another set next summer.
Nothing to dislike about these sun loungers as reasonably priced for a twin set with head rest. Plus the added addition of a cup and phone holder. I have seen these loungers elsewhere without the extras and they were very expensive. Arrived a head of delivery date and just in time for me to make good use of them whilst it was still so hot. Very comfortable. Also I like that they can fold away when not in use. I have no complaints about this product and long may that continue.
Really happy with these. Good value for money and very comfy – I’ve used it for the nursery as an alternative to a bigger chair. added a cushion or two which has made it even better. Goes a lot flatter than i expected and not to heavy. When not pregnant i look forward to using them outside on the beach! Would recommend!
Also all parts arrived and in working condition – the lock mechanism took some time to figure it out, but it does work fine.

Since then we like them – they are very solid and comfortable. It takes a little while to get used to opening them and using the recline function, but that might just be because these are first chairs like this we have bought.
The trays are useful. The only issue from our point of view is the gap between the seat back and the sunshade. Depending on the angle of the sun, it can be a problem, but another customer pointed out you can just put a towel or similar over the gap to protect your neck if needed.
All in all these are well made and we hope to get lots of use out of them. Depending on the weather … 🙂
Edit- I was able to contact the seller and a replacement was dispatched and received in 2 days. Hopefully this one will not fall apart.
One chair is fine. However the chairs are poor quality. A support bar snapped off on second use. Unable to contact seller via amazon as their email address isn’t valid.

Delighted with our sun loungers. They arrived in super quick time & are so comfortable. We love the pull down sunshade & the tray which holds our mobiles & drinks. There was a little clip broken which secures the sunshade but I emailed the seller & they immediately posted out a replacement part. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. I am super happy with my gorgeous chairs that arrived today !! I firstly ordered the black thrn xhwnges to grey which are so much nicer hen thr pics published on here. So so easy to pop up no work at all just click on the fab cup / telephone holder. Easy to fold away am so happy with this purchase
Very comfortable chairs which come ready to use – no assembly required apart from attaching the cup tray on the side.
Had to deduct 1 star due to a major flaw with the sun canopy. When you are sitting on the chair your head and neck is fully exposed to the sun and does not protect you and can cause sunburn because there is a big gap at the back. Also the material which the sun canopy is made from is the same as the of the chair – this lets let’s the sun rays through and is not thick enough to block it out. To resolve these issues I have purchased two black bath towels and placed them over the top of each of the sun canopy which covers the entire top and gap underneath so your head and neck is completely protected. To secure the towels in place I have hand stitched them all around the front and side, which looks good and you can’t tell that it’s been adjusted. Left the back unstitched so it’s easy to fold away. Sorted! (but took me extra time and expense to sort this out)
We purchased these as we had only one last year which was lent to us and wanted two…we returned the one that was lent to it’s owner and bought these two! They are very nice looking, I like the cup holder feature which we didn’t have on the borrowed chair. They fold up quite small so don’t take up a lot of room when folded on the patio.The only thing I would say is that I find them a little awkward to lift but that’s probably when I am carrying a cup of coffee as well…! As far as value for money, appearance and comfort are concerned, we can’t complain at all and would recommend.
You don’t have to put anything together, it comes in one piece and all you have to do is fold it out! It is very comfortable and there are many handy small features, such as a lock feature or the small table on the side. I think one small thing maybe that if you move back the upper part, the lower(leg) part also goes up. I would wish, that if I put my back, back it wouldn’t necessarily lift my feet. Overall, I think its light, comfortable and easy to store and is worth the price for two chairs!
I was expecting to want to buy cushions for these but they are comfortable without. We have left these outside in all weathers and there is certainly some wear and tear like small amounts of rust showing at a couple of joints and some small tears in fabric where it fastens to one chair’s frame but this might have been damage from our dogs as they love to sit in them. Overall really pleased with them just wish it hadn’t taken only a few months for rust to sta
I’ve used these chairs indoors and outdoors and think they are great for the price. The cup/phone holder is handy but doesn’t hold wide mugs well, but they can be put on the flat part of the holder instead so it’s not a problem. I’ve not left the chairs in the rain or damp as I expect they’d develop problems. The recline feature is easy to use and the chairs are comfy. I’ve not found the lock feature to be very useful as it doesn’t seem to hold well, but I don’t find that this impacts the use of the chairs.
Firstly the arms of these chairs were scratched quite badly. Might be a good idea if seller put some protective coverage over them before packing. Did consider returning them, but as they are for garden would live with it. The chairs are very comfortable and I like the fact they can be locked once in seat position. Don’t understand why in the instructions they don’t say where the drink tray should be put, luckily my husband was able to suss it out. So far these chairs seem to be a good buy.
I ordered these chairs because the type I wanted were on back order and I couldn’t wait any longer. I’m very pleased with these chairs, the quality is really good for the money and they’re very comfortable as well as stable. I like the head cushions and the fact that you can easily lock the chair into a set position using the two ringed levers under the arms. Both the fabric and metal seem durable and folding them up is easy although, when folded, they’re not quite as slim as I’d hoped. The drink and phone holders are handy too. In summary, good value chairs that should last many seasons.

These chairs arrived very quickly. They were well packed, without excessive packaging and really easy to assemble and begin using. They are very comfortable and look great. The extra drink/phone tray is also a good addition. The only thing they couldn’t guarantee was the weather, as it has been raining ever since they arrived. So they also suit indoor use.

Really pleased with these chairs, especially for the price. Very comfy. We’re both 5’10” and they’re great – don’t put pressure on my calves like a lo of chairs do. We’ve bought cushions too, but we don’t really need them. I don’t know how long they’ll last at that price, but they seem very sturdy and are so comfy.
These chairs look good and feel good too. They are very comfortable and have smooth movement when changing position. They have a locking mechanism which holds your preferred position. They are a good length for me but also comfortable for my husband who is significantly taller then me. The pillow easily adjusts. The side table attachment is a bonus and is secure enough to hold your phone and a cup of tea.

Easy to operate and very comfy. Im about 115kg and they seem sturdy enough. Only used several times and will need to see if they last into next year.

Apart from the locks don’t feel substantial and a bit fiddly to begin with the chairs are very good and I’m very pleased
These are so well made, sturdy and very comfortable. The lock feature is great, since others I’ve had launch you back up as soon as you lean forward.
Note they are also roomy… Ideal for taller people too, my husband is 6’3 & usually sun loungers don’t seem big enough however these are ideal.

We wanted a reasonably priced but well made recliner for a, hopefully sunny, staycation. We bought the Sunmer as a pair and not too expensive but also not cheap. Super comfortable and easy to use. The sun canopy and cup holder are very useful. Very happy so far. The only minor negatives are: 1) not so easy to get a mug in the cup holder; 2) only black colour was available – this may grow on us eventually.
Extremely comfortable chairs. The swivel action and locking mechanism are excellent. The loose weave of the material means air can circulate and I’m therefore not sitting in a puddle of sweat. For me, as a bloke, the sun shade was essential.
Just in case you think I’m sponsoring this product (I’m not), I do have one criticism: The arm rests are not padded. I read my Kindle (again not sponsored) for 3 or 4 hours a day sitting in this chair by the end of which time my elbows are ruined. I’ve resorted to wrapping towels round the arm rests.
I bought 2 of these chairs a month ago when I unpacked them one of the stoppers fell off one chair , but after seeing
very similar chairs for 60 a pair I feel that I have been ripped off I would recommend people to shop around.Habitat sell exactly same chairs for 30 each.
Very pleased with purchase which looks and feels really sturdy although a little heavier than anticipated!
Great chairs, very comfortable. One or two of the black plastic tube stoppers tend to fall out when folding up. Keep an eye on them.
The chairs are easy to fold, when you want to put them away. A little tricky setting them up, but think this will improve with use. They are very comfortable and are very easy to lock and unlock to get the position you want. A definite good buy.
Buying these was probably a bit on the optimistic side given that I live in the far north of Scotland. Lounging in the sun isn’t something that you can rely on being able to do. However, with the Covid pandemic causing everyone to spend more time at home I thought I’d take a chance. I’m so glad I did. We have had some decent late summer weather so I have been able to use them more often than I imagined. The chairs have been excellent. They come ready to use and are easy to fold out into position. The recline position is achieved simply by pushing a foot bar and leaning back. They look good; feel sturdy and are extremely comfortable. When you have finished using them they fold away quickly and easily. I really cannot fault them in any way.
Love these chairs! Easy to fold, simple to adjust and holds a drink and mobile phone. The drinks holder can even hold cups/mugs as well as glasses. The shade is also really useful. Perfect for reading in the garden on sunny days. My only negative is that I only bought one set and the kids keep trying to nick them! So may have to invest in another set next summer.
Nothing to dislike about these sun loungers as reasonably priced for a twin set with head rest. Plus the added addition of a cup and phone holder. I have seen these loungers elsewhere without the extras and they were very expensive. Arrived a head of delivery date and just in time for me to make good use of them whilst it was still so hot. Very comfortable. Also I like that they can fold away when not in use. I have no complaints about this product and long may that continue.
Really happy with these. Good value for money and very comfy – I’ve used it for the nursery as an alternative to a bigger chair. added a cushion or two which has made it even better. Goes a lot flatter than i expected and not to heavy. When not pregnant i look forward to using them outside on the beach! Would recommend!
Also all parts arrived and in working condition – the lock mechanism took some time to figure it out, but it does work fine.
Bought these for the garden and of course the weather changes for the worse the minute they arrived 🙂
Since then we like them – they are very solid and comfortable. It takes a little while to get used to opening them and using the recline function, but that might just be because these are first chairs like this we have bought.
The trays are useful. The only issue from our point of view is the gap between the seat back and the sunshade. Depending on the angle of the sun, it can be a problem, but another customer pointed out you can just put a towel or similar over the gap to protect your neck if needed.
All in all these are well made and we hope to get lots of use out of them. Depending on the weather … 🙂
Edit- I was able to contact the seller and a replacement was dispatched and received in 2 days. Hopefully this one will not fall apart.
One chair is fine. However the chairs are poor quality. A support bar snapped off on second use. Unable to contact seller via amazon as their email address isn’t valid.
Will be returning as poor quality.
Delighted with our sun loungers. They arrived in super quick time & are so comfortable. We love the pull down sunshade & the tray which holds our mobiles & drinks. There was a little clip broken which secures the sunshade but I emailed the seller & they immediately posted out a replacement part. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. We love our good quality sun loungers & look forward to many years of enjoying them! Thank you.
Had to deduct 1 star due to a major flaw with the sun canopy. When you are sitting on the chair your head and neck is fully exposed to the sun and does not protect you and can cause sunburn because there is a big gap at the back. Also the material which the sun canopy is made from is the same as the of the chair – this lets let’s the sun rays through and is not thick enough to block it out. To resolve these issues I have purchased two black bath towels and placed them over the top of each of the sun canopy which covers the entire top and gap underneath so your head and neck is completely protected. To secure the towels in place I have hand stitched them all around the front and side, which looks good and you can’t tell that it’s been adjusted. Left the back unstitched so it’s easy to fold away. Sorted! (but took me extra time and expense to sort this out)

We purchased these as we had only one last year which was lent to us and wanted two…we returned the one that was lent to it’s owner and bought these two! They are very nice looking, I like the cup holder feature which we didn’t have on the borrowed chair. They fold up quite small so don’t take up a lot of room when folded on the patio.The only thing I would say is that I find them a little awkward to lift but that’s probably when I am carrying a cup of coffee as well…! As far as value for money, appearance and comfort are concerned, we can’t complain at all and would recommend.
You don’t have to put anything together, it comes in one piece and all you have to do is fold it out! It is very comfortable and there are many handy small features, such as a lock feature or the small table on the side. I think one small thing maybe that if you move back the upper part, the lower(leg) part also goes up. I would wish, that if I put my back, back it wouldn’t necessarily lift my feet. Overall, I think its light, comfortable and easy to store and is worth the price for two chairs!
I was expecting to want to buy cushions for these but they are comfortable without. We have left these outside in all weathers and there is certainly some wear and tear like small amounts of rust showing at a couple of joints and some small tears in fabric where it fastens to one chair’s frame but this might have been damage from our dogs as they love to sit in them. Overall really pleased with them just wish it hadn’t taken only a few months for rust to sta
I DONT LIKE THE RUST AFTER SUCH A SHORT TIME……whats the solution.
Firstly the arms of these chairs were scratched quite badly. Might be a good idea if seller put some protective coverage over them before packing. Did consider returning them, but as they are for garden would live with it. The chairs are very comfortable and I like the fact they can be locked once in seat position. Don’t understand why in the instructions they don’t say where the drink tray should be put, luckily my husband was able to suss it out. So far these chairs seem to be a good buy.
I ordered these chairs because the type I wanted were on back order and I couldn’t wait any longer. I’m very pleased with these chairs, the quality is really good for the money and they’re very comfortable as well as stable. I like the head cushions and the fact that you can easily lock the chair into a set position using the two ringed levers under the arms. Both the fabric and metal seem durable and folding them up is easy although, when folded, they’re not quite as slim as I’d hoped. The drink and phone holders are handy too. In summary, good value chairs that should last many seasons.
