Amazing product, I would definitely recommend this. I have a Fantastic pictures quality and sound from it.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and ease of setup and connection. I’ve been using it for movies and games and it looks very good even for sports and fast moving objects.
All the sub 500 projectors are for nighttime/ lowlight use. Don’t believe otherwise. In that bracket this is great. The 4D correction leaves one side fairly squint but we have placed in corner of room not centre when centred it’s excellent. I have another similar projector in my daughters room this Toptro is marginally better. All in it’s a good buy esp when it’s on offer.
We have always wanted a projector and thought that it was ti.w to treat ourselves to one, after some hunting around and reviewing we opted for this one. It was easy to setup, all controls are straightforward we managed to get ot connected and working with a bluetooth soundbar and our firestick in no time at all. The picture quality is great too.
This projector is excellent value for money. The picture is decent for a projector during the daytime And in a dark room its very good. I have it mounted 4.5meters from the wall I am projecting on, and I am projecting onto a 120″ screen (I had to reduce projected image to 87%). I have the projector mounted on a wall bracket. Only complaint I have is focus adjustment is manual and it’s hard to get ‘just right’ so probably not ideal if you were planning to move this around. Also image could be a small bit sharper but for the price you won’t find a better projector I’d say.
I love the picture and the sound on this projector.
My only issue is the BleuTooth doesn’t work great with my speaker and it doesn’t seem to like Chromecast.
I’m sure there is a way to get it all to work, maybe you all know how?
I also use a DVD player with it and it’s great.
I love it, native resolution 1080 pixels! I highly recommend to connect Fire TV Stick to this projector, you will not be disappointed. If you don’t have Bluetooth speakers and can’t play sound, go to Settings on your Fire TV Stick and then Display & Sounds, Surround Sound, choose PCM. After this change sound will play from TOPTRO projector when you watch Netflix or something else on your Fire TV.
After a bit of setup to get the keystone and positioning correct, the projector is performing pretty well. You won’t be blown away by the quality or clarity, but for the price it’s a really great entryway for a home cinema system. Speakers are also surprisingly good and more than usable compared to built-in laptop or TV speakers. You won’t be able to get everything in perfect focus if the positioning isn’t spot on, so I recommend ceiling-mounting or using a stand to get great results, but all in all cannot fault this for the money.

At first instance, I bought this projector to watch movies with my kids but when I started to use it I was very impressed because its picture quality it’s really great, like a be in cinema.
In addition, the projector is light, well presented (painted in white) and the remote control and menus are easy to use. It was exactly what I expected.
In conclusion, I’m very happy with this purchase and my kids went back to the TV because the projector is exclusively mine xD.
Exactly what I was needing. Its a bit bigger than I thought it would have been, but excellent picture quality, and auto connects bluetooth speaker.

Speaker in projector is average but I know this is the case in most projectors. Bluetooth connection in very stable and easy and quick to connect so I just use Bluetooth speaker. I’m impressed with this projector but I’m curious and paranoid about how long will it last? If it’s reliable and lasts I will edit this review and give it 5 stars

Remote is a good size and feels well built
The fan noise noisey but soon as you start watching something you won’t notice it.

Easy to set up and use with streaming box/Firestick or mobile phone. Easily paired with Bluetooth speaker or Sound Bar. Picture quality OK. Needs to be fairly dark to see the picture. All in all not bad for the price.

Good value for money and a handy projector. I use it almost daily instead of a tv.
Picture quality is good. I did buy a model with electronic keystone correction specifically. This works in getting a square picture but if you notice small variations in the screen resolution ( minor but i can’t not see it when i notice) then I wouldn’t rely on it long term and only use it if needed. With a square on position and a height that needs to only use the physical keystone then its a really its a good quality picture.
It is a noticeable noise when running initially but it’s white background noise that you really don’t notice after a couple of minutes running and the speakers on the project are surprisingly loud. Blue tooth also works for hooking it up to a stereo for sports or films.
its also good brightness, there’s a noticeable fade when its really sunny outside (as with any projector) buy not to the point of not being able to make out what’s on the screen, just doesn’t look as bright. The only time I’ve struggled was in direct strong sunlight hitting the wall I project onto. I just project onto a bare white wall and its fine background.
The focusing wheel did seize when I first bought it and withdrew the lens right the way back, but the company did replace it without any fuss.
All in all a really good projector for the price bracket.

Build quality – strong, sturdy, and will last.
Size – a little big for my liking.
Fan noise – A tiny bit loud but it doesnt affect your viewing experience.
Addition features –
no carry case.
No tripod.
No height adjustment.
Lens can only be capped when lens is scrolled back inside which means focus needs setting everytime you want to watch. I just leave it out now.
Ports – good. Doesnt lack anything.
Recommendation – definitely purchase if you dont want to spend 300+.
A great projector for the money especially with the ability to pair with a Bluetooth sound bar or speaker. This projector with an added fire stick or roku etc is great for entertainment. I also have the Nintendo switch hooked up to ours and playing Mario kart on such a large screen is amazing. The fan is not as loud as my previous anker projector and the built in speaker is more than capable of delivering good sound. I would happily recommend this to anyone wanting to get the cinema feel on a budget.

Really pleased with this purchase, excellent picture quality and sound. Was easy to set up and we have used it with the Amazon fire stick and my son also plugs his PlayStation in to play fifa etc. Can’t wait to try it out in the garden in the summer! Would recommend.
If you are looking for a projector that would be able to replace your main television, this TOPTRO projector definitely is able to. It is currently only just over 180 for this. Even with the cost of a projector screen, you are only talking of just over 200. What equivalent television can you buy for that amount of money! This upgraded model is 7200 Lux making the picture very bright and all the colours so bright and sharp.
Resolution is native 1080P with 4K support.
This allows resolution as good as standard HD televisions for a fraction of the price.
With a projection distance of up to 9m, you can potentially get a screen picture of a outstanding 350″; a truly cinematic experience! The speakers are adequate but I would advise external speakers and a subwoofer for a better sound. You can definitely affordable to with the cheap price of this compared to a television.
We have the BT vision box connected to it and we are very happy with this projector.
I’ve left it a few months after purchasing prior to considering writing a review .
On reflection, this TOPTRO TR81 is just fantastic. The image quality is superb. Even in daylight the image is spectacular. Very well built . Great Bluetooth connectivity. So much you can do in the settings to tailor to your needs . So satisfied with this projector and would recommend to anyone considering buying one .
First venture into projectors so I can’t comment on it performance up against others but WOW….
It’s super easy to set up, I didn’t even read the manual. I have mine at a slight angle but there are enough settings to show correctbthe screen.
I guess if you are a AV fanatic and can identify screen artifacts etc then you might think different.
For me this is amazing for the price. I have plugged in a fire stick and its much better than my 47″ LG HD TV, although I would say its probably only as good as the source going into it.
I’ve also linked it to my Amazon echo and it works seamlessly. The fan does make some noises but once you turn on the sound it’s hardly noticeable.
I highly recommend it. The pictures don’t really do it justice. They manufactures suggest it’s good for 100000 hours so we’ll see
I use Sky Q Box in HD it is really 1080P support, also the color saturation is very sharp.the 6D Keystone is very good
which the projector doesn’t need to project image only straight. you can put the project nearly corner which still can project image on the middle of the room.
However there are two problems 1. the corner focus not good quite blur and 2. My one had problem at the next day on the projected image had a bight light image…. It probably only happened on my one.
Fantastic value for money ! Picture quality is better than a 500 projector I tried and the sound quality is also quite reasonable . I was extremely surprised with this as had much lower expectations.

Power cord is on the short side if mounting to ceiling I bought a longer one at the time for this purpose.
Blutooth works well to connect to external speaker or soundbar etc.
Good sound from built in speaker also.
Noise from fan a little loud if sitting next to or under the unit but not an issue if your watching with the volume at an average level.
1080p picture quality looks great projected onto white living room wall.
Wish I’d purchased one years ago.

I received it today in the early afternoon and I tried straight away and even tho it was sunny outside the images were clear and sharp.
The device has 7200 lumen capacity and one can definitely tell.

I actually bought this projector on a whim taking advantage of a lightning deal.
I am really pleased I did as it will be perfect for TV and film watching in my new garden Room as I can show the large image on to the white wall.
Update!
My review was based on an HDMI connection to my laptop but my intention is to use it more remotely with content from my smartphone. Having tried two direct connection options ie a usb to hdmi converter and a usb to hdmi cable, neither would work.
The answer was to connect the smartphone (Android) to the projector via Chromecast which worked perfectly.
Incidentally if you find a note in the box offering a free gift, don’t bother because the seller stipulates giving a five star review in order to qualify – believe me, I tried. Most unfair in my opinion.
Products is actually insane for the price amazing projector picture quality is ridiculous matches my 4k tv up to around 80″ then is still easy hd 1080 quality all the way up to 300″ and can go bigger …insane , got for my bedroom plays hd ps4 easily, got usb hdmi Bluetooth by far best machine for price about 100%
Only little issue I had was with Amazon their driver left my hundreds of pounds worth of product outside the front of my house when I wasn’t even in! I mean what the f
Minor ISSUES I’ve found:
– Fan a bit noisy (anyway not more than the other projectors of this class) and splits out a bit of plastic smell, so if you plan to place it on your right side , you’ll probably feel the warmth and smell (I’ve placed it on the left side about one meter distance and it’s perfect though)
– You can’t adjust how high it project. There’s a small screw on the top that allows to adjust just few centimeters, so if you want to project high on the wall, you need to place it on a high stall (in fact some ppl asking for a good stall for this)
– They placed some wires on the right side and some other in the back, so it’s impossible to place it tight against any wall if HDMI cable is plugged.
I’m still very happy with the product, would recommend to give it a try.
Picture quality is great, sound is better than we expected too. Family movie nights are our favourite thing now we have this.
*pictures quality is amazing good brightness and no pixels in any corner you can see very clear projection.
*speaker is also great in this product. Powerful enough for home entertainment.

Great projector, kids love watching films and nature programs on it, sound quality great. First time of ever having a projector and really pleased with this one.
We are so blown away with this projector! The picture is amazing the colour and clarity really was like being at the movies! In light it’s great and darkness it’s amazing! The sound is brilliant I didn’t even hook up to my speakers and it didn’t feel like it was in our face. We didn’t really know what to expect we had a fun mini one before and it wasn’t much cop and when I spoke to people they said you need to be looking over the 1k mark for anything decent, which was not an option. So although I was hopeful from reading reviews I was also a little apprehensive. But it is brilliant the instructions are well written, the unit looks sleek and set up was straight forward, the remote was very good!
we put it on a stool in front of our sofa and projected the image straight on to the wall and it was perfect I’m going to try find a more descreet place for it today but if that doesn’t work out I will just pull it out and connect as needed. I’ve noticed there are some more functions and set up bits that I am yet to use so look forward to having a proper look today! Also the picture would go much bigger and the sofa pictured below is a four seater to give you an idea if the size I had it. Also the zoom 2 mode is a great option to really fill the space.
I did get some glitching when I attached my phone but when we gave my phone connecter attachment a clean over it went away. (I used this for Netflix as I don’t have a fire stick)
Only irritation to me is the blue light for the power button as I am light sensitive but I just covered it and problem solved! It does look cool it’s just my sensitivity.
Looking forward to taking it in the garden in the summer to stream festivals (probably past ones this year!)!

This is literally one of the top projectors I have ever owned the picture quality is bright and very sharp. Weve even been able to use it in the day with just the curtains shut and no black out curtain its so on point.
The price is pretty reasonable aswell considering how amazing it is.
There have been many projectors we’ve had in the past that wouldn’t recommend, this however, is 100% worth it.
My wife also plays PlayStation remotely on it and she says the quality is identical to the TV.
Bought this unit to upgrade from my hd ready mini projector. I was just hoping for a slightly better picture but boy I was wrong! I don’t know if it is the 720 to 1080p upgrade or the sheer size difference of the lens; but the output was as good as watching on a TV. Colour contrast was amazing, sharpness was crystal clear and even the sound is pretty good.
I’ve put mine in a high ambient light area and still able to get a good picture. Yet to mount it on the ceiling, but I hope that wouldn’t change anything.
Now for some limitations:
It is quite bulky since it is a full size projector (wasn’t expecting a huge one) and even thought of returning it for a sec; but the sheer brilliant picture forced me to live with ‘bigger is better’.
Like any other household non-laser projector, the focus is a bit blurry at the edges (very tolerable though)
I’ve tried to test the usb functionality; it doesn’t support playing mkv files which is a bummer.
I like the sound coming from the picture, but unless you have a budget for the supremely expensive ultra short throws, bluetooth audio is the only solution.
Fan might be a distraction if seated just below.
Overall; I wasn’t expeting this quality at this price point by any means! Hopefully it lasts long as well.
When researching home projectors it was obvious there is a lot of choice on the market and you can very easily spend a lot of money without fulling appreciating what it is you are purchasing. If this is your first foray into owning a home projector, you cannot go wrong with the TOPTRO projector.
Setting up the projector took next to no time and the picture quality is excellent. The true value comes from watching sports or movies on the big screen.
Product comes with 3 year warranty and free lifetime tech support. Hopefully I don’t need to utilise either, but it’s comforting to know I have this option.
Absolutely love it! This projector was bought to create a home cinema and it has done exactly that. Very easy to set up and use. Great sound quality from the built in speakers but easily connectable to your own Bluetooth speakers if preferred. It has a lot of port options too including usb, VGA, SD card etc so you have multiple ways to watch your movies and shows. Highly recommended.

Been using this projector with a PS5, and the results are stunning..
After using a cheaper/smaller projector for a while, this unit seems a bit larger but….. The quality difference is unbelievable! Picture quality is spectacular, it’s crystal clear and runs with the PS5 perfectly.
