Fitted together fine but needed quite a bit of weight on the base, added this in form of 4 water filled 300mm square paving slab like things I had already. The base I am sure will work IF concreted in or screwed down, if not this will tip over in the smallest breeze.
Afraid it arrived slightly damaged, didn’t travel very well from Italy.
Could of been packaged more securely, box smashed to pieces.

The sun parasol is huge can change the position to suit needs
But it is to heavy for the base provided with it it just keeps tipping so had to order some heavy covers for the base
I’ve given this cantilever parasol four stars because without additional base support it is very unstable when used even in a breeze. This is because the umbrella section moves about. The whole item is easy to put together and operate and provides shade for a good area. The cover provided is a tight fit and you need to be taller than 6feet or use some sturdy steps to fit it from the top down.
Easy to ensemble just with one person . Easy to open and close and move ad the sun does. We’ll worth the money
I recommend buying the other cover as one supplied is too tight and small so doesn’t cover the metal crank system. The one recommended is purfec

Just set it up and its great for the price, its very sturdy and easy to set up and use.
This looks great on our new decking. I didn’t bother with weights so screwed it down to the decking with 3 inch screws. It’s going know where . Looks great and does the job. Will see what happens to it when the bad weather gets on it but the cover helps I suppose.
The umbrella itself is good. Unfortunately the cover that came with it did not cover the leaver handle. So that’s a bit rusty now.
The seller did say I could have a refund but I had to return the whole thing but it’s so big so I said no. I would’ve preferred a cover replacement.
The umbrella is big and sturdy but it needs extra base to make sure that it doesn’t fall on you.
Great little umbrella. Must be used with weights or will fall over. Great that it comes with a cover. Not sure how long the base will last without protection.

This is a great bit of kit, Managed to get it on sale for 47, which was the bargain of the century. I’d happily pay double that for the quality in this highly recommended piece of kit.

Very good value for money. Do yourself a favour though and order the weights to hold it down coz it’s very top-heavy and very easily falls over. We are hoping to have to screw ours to our deck which means we won’t be able to move it around. Otherwise it’s a good product.

Easy to assemble. Looks great in my garden. Only had it for 3 weeks, so cannot say about reliability yet. My major advice to anyone who reads this review, is ALWAYS get weights for the base (at extra cost). Without, I found even a slight gust of wind caused the parasol to lean and fall. I suspect this will be a problem with all cantilever parasols.
My garden table does not have a hole in middle for brolly so this new cantilever brolly is ideal. Haven’t used much as yet so hope it stands a good bit of wear. My last one (not from Amazon) lasted 2 mths!!!
Easy to put together, needs to be screwed into the ground so we have just put a heavy slab to hold it down. Looks nice
This is a really good parasol and great value compared to other cantilever parasols. This is large enough to cover our 2m table and provides good shade. Really easy to assemble and easy to put up and down.
Nice and easy to use with a bit of muscle. Don’t forget to purchase the sand/water filled counterweights to keep it stable and upright as it won’t stand for long in a breeze otherwise.
We’re very pleased and enjoying the benefits of having shade.

Works pretty well, goes up and down easily enough. Quick to put away when not in use under its cover. Ours is weighed down with patio slabs and doesn’t seem at any risk of falling over.
The Parasol is great, we keep it over our hot tub. Only problem we find is any wind at all make it unstable. We put some large rocks over the foot stand to make more secure but think sandbags would be better. Works well though and seems ok quality for our needs

Time will tell with use. You do need a parasol base with this. It isn’t designed for use without – it is not really safe unless secured with a base.

Only had a couple of months but so far happy with the parasol. It is sturdy & the tilt on it is very useful. Would definitely use paving slabs for the base otherwise I feel it would blow over.

Unfortunately the next day when I went to open it up it wouldn’t open, kept of clicking but not opening. I contacted seller and literally 2 days later I received a replacement. Excellent and quick customer service. Very happy with my parasol.

Great shade, it obviously doesn’t come with the weights which can be quite expensive so we bought slabs and use those on the base, they were much cheaper.
The umbrella looks good and goes up easily the only thing I would say is the cover that comes with it is very tight and are slightly ripped from us trying to get it on. Overall very happy

VERY IMPORTANT This brolley obviously doesn’t like the wind ! I installed the base under my 40mm patio slabs to anchor it. So far so good, but just in case we fold it everynight. Seems ok now. On reflection a fair price The brolley works fine, Theres no ‘wrap around’ strap to hold it closed when not in use (like you get with some brolleys) so i use a bungy cord, they supply a bag for winter use but its too fidly to use ‘every’ time you want to fold it up.

We bought this early in the summer and use it on our patio virtually every sunny day now.
It gives excellent, wide shade and can be adjusted and tilted as the sun moves.
We anchor it wth some paving stones with sandbags on top and it is really solid.
It comes with a cover which is useful when not in use.

Simple to assemble. Does what it says on the box. Needs to be fixed to decking or buy a huge weight to hold it down.

I thought is was a great parasol, but haven’t really tried it out yet as the weather had been rubbish. Hopefully soon.

When delivered, the parasol came with the wrong base struts. I contacted Vounot, had a reply within 5 minutes and was promised replacement struts at no cost. These arrived in a few days and were perfect. The product is super and the customer service was brilliant.

Quick service and very nice parasol. However I found it difficult to put together, it needs two people and it definitely needs to be a placed in a spacious area where it cannot fall and hit any windows. The base needs to be fixed to the ground or heavily weighted down as it would have blown over easily. Unfortunately for me it had to go back as my patio space was too small to take this particular parasol.

Very disappointed in the quality of this product , very plastics not very stable. Used it yesterday for what can only be maybe the third time since I purchased it. It’s broken . The plastic pole snapped.
Great canopy and really easy to assemble, but i had to return it as floor space wasn’t compatible with the length of the base, i thought i could make it work. However, seller not really helpful with returning so i resold it myself within 48 hours..absolutely need a base.

My husband put this together, didn’t seem to have any problems, it does wobble about a bit with the breeze, to be expected as it’s free standing, so we attached it to our fence with some string. ( nothing we can do about the breeze,)

Relatively easy to assemble, used pliers to loosen a bolt on the footing stand and to tighten after assembly. It would have been considerate to have had the inclusion of 4 tent pegs to stabilise the base, I assembled for my mother and had to order separately, so temporarily out of action until they arrive. The product seems sound other than that omission.

Arrived in less than a week, so easy to assemble I can’t believe people who said it wasn’t, put the parasol together before you mount it on the stand you can even use the ratchet to pull it together! it just clips in, also the stand has some holes very handy for screwing into decking for added security, cheap as chips and I had it up in 10 mins just 4 bolts to screw down 14mm spanner/socket needed, honest it’s a doddle and when up it’s bloody good, you can angle it at lots of different ways and it swivels 360 degrees, it even has a cover!! Big thumbs up!
This 5′ 3 woman put it together in about 30 mins with no help and the basic instructions.
I haven’t purchased a base yet so I only briefly put it up fully. Seems good. A bit higher then I thought.
Update: I have now bought a base. The fact the base is longer one side isn’t a plus as it sticks out through the parasol. It does move quite a lot during a mind wind but its a good size.
I gave this an overall rating of 4 stars due the product being great value, good quality and fairly simple to put together. I did struggle however with securing the top section of the brolly it was a real nightmare to clamp the 2 sections together. It took 2 persons to secure the top section after some brute force.

UPDATE 31/5/21 – Only had it a few weeks and the inner cord mechanism ‘snapped’ but I contacted the seller who requested a photo proof then without any quarrel, kindly offered replacement which arrived speedily. No fuss, great service! Thank you!
