Purchased this mower based on price, size and non-Amazon reviews. So far has proved an excellent purchase. Cuts right to the edge and collects all cuttings well. Easy to manoeuvre and packs away tidily. Thoroughly recommend this mower.

o do this urgent review i had to cut the grass when it was very wet. Although easy to use grass pickup was not the best as it was so wet.
Lightweight, easy to change cutting level, large grass collection. Much easier to manoeuvre than the old Webb manual with roller. Managed to cut long wet grass okay. Great buy.
Good little lawn mower, lightweight, adjustable height, and decent size collection box.
It does struggle if the grass is longer or damp though, the motor will shut down for 5-10 minutes on a regular basis if you’ve left it a couple of weeks too long before cutting. Cable could be a bit longer too.
Other than that its fine. Would still recommend it.

Initial impression is that this lawnmower is a solidly made,quality machine,which is very easy to use,and gives a good cut.Only negative was that diagrams and print in the Instruction Manual need to be in slightly larger print,although this information is also available on manufacturers website.

I have had this mower for 3 months now and no problems at all. The flap that tells you when the grass box is full also tells you when there is a blockage.
Take long grass down with high setting then a lower one. Absolutely delighted with this product!!!
After always using a hover mower and suffering with my back, the WEBB wheeled mower means mowing the lawn is no longer a pain. It is a available at a very reasonable price and does a good job.
How nice it cut the grass and easy to handle
Having struggled with a broken lawnmower for the past twenty years, I finally decided to treat myself to a brand new one this summer. I did some research and chose this Webb model, influenced by the review from Gardeners World. As other reviewers have found, the handle on the grass bag was slightly annoying to assemble and I did have to fiddle for about 10 minutes before it finally clicked into the right place. I am very pleased with the results of this mower so far. It is easy to use, light to push/pull, cuts really nicely and leaves my lawn looking better than it ever has done before. A job that previously took an hour now takes 10 minutes. Very happy and would recommend.
Good powerful mower apart from when you use it on long grass it throws the cut grass on the sides which is a pain to collect later.

I am elderly the lawnmower is relatively light and easy to operate good quality from Webb it is great for my small lawn.

I bought this great little lawn mower as our heavy, petrol, Mountfield was smelly and heavy to manoeuvre in and out of the shed and difficult to start every time. After some research, this one caught my eye. It is light and makes easy work of the lawn and cuts close to the edges too. This mower is great for me especially, so now I can cut the lawn because of the ease of use and not just left for my husband to do it all the time. Highly recommend! 🙂
It light enough to manoeuvre, but it’s designed for running straight lines primarily.
Great for my square garden, but if it’s small circular or rounded garden, you might find yourself having a bit more fidgeting.

I found instructions not very clear so just looked at its photo on Amazon Website and worked out from that where everything goes.

I liked the professional cut of lawn mower. I like that it is British and has a 2 year guarantee. I found the mower quite heavy to lift and the instructions were far too small to read.
Purchased as a gift for our son who has created a lawned area in his new home . He is very pleased with the mower, great cut, easy to assemble and lightweight .

Good looking quality mower, cuts well at different heights, slightly heavier than my last one, but is still easily manoeuvrable, compacts down well for storage after use…..very happy.
I bought this just under two years ago, but sadly it stopped working when I was 2/3 of the way across the lawn. I looked on Amazon to find a new one, but checked to see when exactly I purchased this one. I was delighted to find that it came with a two year guarantee and I still had two months to go. I contacted the seller, through Amazon, and they have just delivered me a new one this morning, fantastic service. It took them just under a week. Would definitely recommend this company and the mower is great too.
Bought to replace a hover mower and wow! What a difference! This mower is quiet and so easy to push. It makes mowing the lawn a pleasure.
The mower is light enough for an elderly person to lift but needs very little lifting as it simply wheels into the storage area.
The handle is comfortable to hold and the ability to keep it running with either or both hands is useful.
Just a few niggles. The instructions for handle assembly don’t tell you there are definite left and right lower handles so it is easy to fit them on the wrong side and not realise until the cable clips are fitted. I had to take mine to pieces again and swap the lower handles over.
Also the instructions for raising and lowering the blade could be better. It isn’t clear to a person who has never used a rotary mower which position gives the shortest or longest cut.
I also find the lever stiff to use.
The black cable is hard to see in long grass.
Apart from those minor issues it is a very good mower for medium sized lawns that are on a very slight slope.

Bought this due to my old one being unfixable. This one is lightweight and cuts the grass well after the first mow. Initial impression is very good but time will tell if it lasts 8 years like the last one.

Got this to replace a Bosch mower that failed prematurely. This one is better in every way and makes mowing my small lawn a doddle. Hard.y any assembly required unlike the Bosch one, even the grass collector was assembled ready for use. If your looking for a basic small electric mower I can highly recommend the Webb

This is a very good mower and easy to put together, as soon as it came we fitted the handle and started to mow the lawn. Our front garden now looks very good.
I chose this because I’d read it was lightweight! It is definitely NOT LIGHTWEIGHT! It says it has 3 cutting heights, but I’ve tried all 3 and they’re pretty much the same, which are all too high for me; It cuts the grass ok though and the collection box thing has excellent capacity. The height adjustment lever on the right hand side is also annoying as it sticks out, thus preventing a close edge cut if you’ve got a wall or fencing. Having said all that, it’s well made and a very sturdy piece if kit, which I guess is the reason it’s heavy.
Everything was excellent on this model The price the power and the cut. What I have a niggle with it the cut height lever. I found I had to turn the machine over to try to engage the 2 highest cut settings Apart from this, all good

Quite heavyweight in moving but is handy during operate. Sharp knife makes the grass cutting work easy.
– it has FIVE height levels. They’re a little stiff on first try but that’s a good thing (they won’t instantly pop out) and I’m sure will ease with use.
– the trigger handle runs FULLY across the top handle – it’s not one-sided as the image suggests (like a standard petrol mower, which this replaces for me). So it can be held at any point across the top handle, making manoeuvring so much easier and intuitive without cutting out.
– it has a carry handle on the base, so the mower can be lifted with ease.
– the machine is (according to box) 12.8kg net weight. It doesn’t feel too light to handle a workload, but I can also lift it without stress. It seems to manoeuvre with ease. It doesn’t look or feel like ‘cheap plastic’. The blade is metal

– I managed to assemble the mower in around 30 minutes, taking my time. The handles have just two fixings to assemble – slot into mower base, and secure top handle with two easy bolt/knob fixings. Just add two cable ties to secure the cable from motor along the handle. The grass box just slots in after lifting flap.
– The handle slotting into the top of the grass box seems to pop out quite easily – but I’ve borrowed mowers and they’re all similar. There is an integral handle on the fabric of the grass box itself s that might be the go-to for emptying.
– The cable is a decent length indeed. It is Black however so visibility is lower.
– it doesn’t have a ‘fold flat’ option but with cable ties in place I can still dislocate the lower handles and lay them along the length of the machine.
– If you care of aesthetics, it’s a nice looking machine.
It will (weather permitting) get a real run for it’s money tomorrow as I’ve had to delay first cut of the year while making a decision. I’ll update review with photos I hope. Hope this helps.
Really pleased with this mower. I have used a hover mower for many years, but this is so much easier to use and creates less mess. The grass collection is very efficient; no raking to do afterwards.
Its not lightweight though.

Fairly easy to assemble, although the instructions were sometimes a bit unclear. The lawnmower is working very well (after several months) and we are very pleased with it. A bit heavier than previous lawnmowers from Bosch but it feels sturdy and will hopefully last longer. Very pleased so far.
Ok so far. Better than my previous Bosch Rotak as it ha cutting height.
only used once but has cut my grass perfectly. I like it can be changed to different heights. Its a little heavier than my old mower. So far Ibqm pleased
When eventually assembled it worked very well indeed and cut the lawn beautifully.
The main issue is that, for a start, the mower that was delivered has a different handle from that shown. this isn’t necessarily a problem but the instructions for constructing that handle are terrible and make reference to actions which are impossible and mixing up left and right.
There is no mention that the lower handles are left and right handed, depending on which cable clips are provided and the cable clip cannot be slid on to the upper handle as described.
It took a little while to work out what should go where and I am sure that most will sort it out but that isn’t the way it should be.
Assembly was easy (if you follow the instructions) and then you are good to go. The cord length is suitable for most lawns although I use an extension lead for more range and ease. The bag is big enough for my lawn so it doesn’t leave any grass clumps behind, if the bag gets close to full there’s a little hatch that lets you know so you can avoid over filling. Emptying the bag is just as easy as it has handle on the back and the grass just falls out on it’s own.
I would definitely buy this mower again (although I’m sure I won’t need another one for a few years to come).
Handle of grass box doesn’t stay in place so that when you lift it to empty the box it comes off, a real nuisance
I ordered this lawnmower because amazon said next day delivery and my garden was getting out of control. It came with 24 hours so really chuffed with that, didn’t even open the instruction manual and had it assembled within 5mins. Does exactly what it said it would do. It’s light and has a bit of poke for my small garden so thumbs up from me.
Just what I wanted light and easy to use, had to get my Son to fix the handle on the grass box, other than that I thought I did well for a 73 year old woman!!!!!
Light weight but gets through heavy work! For such a cheap price I was not expecting such a good lawn mower. Only problem I can see is: getting spare blades is not easy! Where?
Really quick and easy to put together. Quite low to the ground, so not ideal if you have lumps and bumps on your garden, but cuts really good and easy to manoeuvre.
Very small. Handle was a pig to assemble on my own. Height adjuster is flimsy and hard to change.
Thought had made wrong decision as lawn was long although it got through it eventually. Left grass on the lawn.
But just used it for cut with grass shorter and was perfect (still rather long though). Easy to push grass stayed in box and cut perfectly.

The assembly instructions could be somewhat better but the lawnmower itself is very good. Very easy to clear all grass from the around the blades after use. It has a good enough weight to it so that it makes nice lines on the lawn. Robust construction.
Arrived quickly and easy to put the handles on as the main mower is thankfully built! It’s small but heavier than my previous Qualcast mower, although the weight is mentioned in the description, I just didn’t take much notice. The stripe lawn effect is superb and combined with the 5 lawn cutting heights adjusted by a simple handle it’s a top rating from me! Absolutely delighted and a good quality machine. The grass box is lightweight and fabric underneath which expands for cut grass storage. The ONLY issue is the plastic clip handle on the grass box keeps coming off as though the slot is too big to keep in place, but I will put something in it to jar it still – a great lawn mower and superb value for money.
A few observations :-
– Assembly is easy but diagrams are painfully small.
– It’s heavier than my old mower making it more difficult to manoeuvre.
– the adjuster for height of cut is a crude design and not very smooth to change. I can see this being the mower’s Achilles heal over time.
However, this all said I’m pleased with it. Let’s see if it lasts as long as my old mower at 20+ years!
Great service, reasonably priced, easy to assemble and does a good job.
Loved the mower, but the plastic handle came off after the first cut. It just clicks in. I’ve glued it on and it’s ok.
I looked at a number of different mowers and reviews and this one seemed to be the clear winner. After opening and assembling it, I can see why. It’s a solid built mower and the cut is excellent. My back lawn had become quite long in parts and on the morning of cutting it, it was still quite damp. The mower powered through it and didnt clog once. The only thing, you need to keep checking on the grass bag, as it fills quickly. But again, take this as a positive as it leaves no loose grass when cutting.
So far so good! I spent plenty of time choosing the best mower under 100 pounds. Bosch was coming up a lot but after reading some bad reviews I went for Webb. And I am not looking back. The motor is very powerful and lawn is adjustable to your needs. Just get yourself a lead extension.

This is brilliant, I ordered it for my partner as a surprise. He was begging to know what it was so I made him promise that before I told him he must promise never to let me or anyone else use it, it’s strictly for him. He agreed. I no longer have to mow the lawn. bonus. Any way he seemed to enjoy mowing the lawn, it cut the grass has multiple levels, and seems to be very sturdy. Well worth the money. Oh and it took him 5 min to assemble (most things take him forever, so I’m going to say it’s very easy to put together) 🙂
Got this as a cheap alternative whilst my larger petrol mower was out of commission. NOT the worst decision I have ever made easy to use & assemble and gives quite a good cut.

Great product for the price. Easy to put together. Grass box doesn’t fill properly due to the angle but not a big issue.
Very impressed with this mower in dry conditions, though results can be inconsistent if damp or wet, picking up mowed grass, but this a minor moan as i am very rarely motivated to mow in damp conditions .

Lawn Mower arrived very quickly. It was easy to assemble. The mower is slightly heavier than our previous mower but as the handle is higher this is not noticeable. Very easy to adjust the blade position. We did have to use a extension lead but this wasn’t a issue.
Overall a great Lawn mower with a reasonable price tag.
Lovely little machine. Easy to use and lightweight. Only problem I found was bending right down to ground level to lift up the lid which covers the grass box. I’ve just about overcome this by lifting the machine up, grabbing the lid and lowering back to the ground
Surprisingly good on wet grass. I go through a lot of these rotary beasts over the years, and this does the business and has survived the first season. It really needs some more oomph at times, but the collection bin is good and it works. Interesting to see how it copes with the first cut of the year… As for Webb, would go with these again, probably with a motor with more wattage next time.
Very impressed with this. My lawn is about 75ft by about 35ft. I a m not really a keen gardener so had no intention of spending a lot of money after my old (and rather expensive) B&D mower hit a stone and the blade broke (parts no longer available, apparently. Grr)
Saw this, it had good ratings and is better than the old one at well under half the price.
A well made machine from a reputable company and which will hopefully last many years.
The one down side is that the grass box doesn’t seem to hold as much as I like which means I am having to empty it more often.
