Picture quality is amazing, even when you have uneven surfaces, or have to put it in akward place on the go. It readjust itself quite fast. tested on 100″ screen and its AMAZING for the price. Bright enough to even have small table lights going and not affecting quality as bad as YT reviews show. And the sound system og my. Had a chance to test it in high ceiling room and it was close enough to cinema. Shame battery don’t last entire movie, but 1.5h short film should hold no problem.
This is a great little projector. It’s really bright, not bright enough for daytime viewing but certainly bright enough for evening viewing with the lights on in the room. I didn’t want to have to watch in total darkness so this was a concern but actually, mildly dimmed room is just fine.
I got a 100″ image (see photo) from around 3m (distance is a guess), and it was really bright even with 2 lights on in the room and a 55″ TV directly opposite the wall being projected on.
Despite what everyone seem to be saying, I was able to download and use Netflix directly from the Google store with absolutely no issues whatsoever.
Delivery was speedy too. Arrived just in time to watch Liverpool demolish Man U 7-0 at the weekend 🙂

After reading many reviews on many projectors I opted for the Halo plus and omg it was so the right decision.
It arrived impeccably packaged and from the onset it you could tell it was going to be a quality product.
Unboxed it quickly as was like a kid in a sweet shop and was amazed at how easy it was to set up. Quickly connected to WiFi and opted for use of a fire stick purely for ease of use with Netflix.
The keystone correction and autofocus work like a dream and picture quality even in a lit room is superbly impressive.
( also didn’t realise it had digital zoom, it DOES!! massive plus )
The only small niggle was a problem with the remote control connection but this was quickly solved with the help of customer service which I have to say the service was flawless.
The battery life is good, I got 2 hours 20 minutes and it only takes 2.5 hours to recharge.
Also, the sound is very very impressive and I’ve no need to connect it to my Sonos system.
In conclusion, this is one serious bit of kit, compact, quality and well worth the money I spent on it.
Would love to get the Aura as my next xgimi purchase as I’m sure that would get the same if not better review so I better get saving.
Look people, you pay for what you get and with this Halo plus, you’re getting a lot !

Although I still need to manually adjust the display as I normally will not place the Halo in front of the screen, the procedure of trapezoidal adjustment is not difficult.
Overall, very happy with it and highly recommended!
Genuinely blown away by the quality of this projector. Simple, intuitive set up anywhere on the go and good enough brightness to use even in well lit rooms.
However, by far the best thing about it is how lightweight the product is. I’ve taken this with me for work both to Austria and Italy using the spacious carry case and used it as simple carry-on back pack luggage
Love it and now use it instead of a top of the line TV I brought slightly over a year ago as the quality is just superior especially in a dark room
Only got it today but already super impressed about the quality and ease of use. I have already started using it to play ps5 games, watching Netflix (needs a bit of config but works) and many other things. Chrome cast is also built in that is very convenient but it does seem to have a bit of glitch on buffering but seems got better after upgrading software to latest version. But most amazing thing is how good the quality is even just on white wall. Crystal clear text and the auto adjust feature is just amazing. You can pretty much put the projector anywhere in the room with any angel. It’s not cheap but worth every penny. Keep in mind it’s also very small and portable with a battery, this makes it ideal for presentations especially where you need to do a demo with a wow.

Very lovely and picture rich especially when the ambience is right (less amount of light coming through the windows), performs well in the bright environment however with 900 ANSI, you will enjoy it best and see its entire beauty come alive when environment light is kept to its minimum. Also noticed that the box’s full brightness is enhanced when its plugged into power, when unplugged, it automatically dims brightness (this can be changed in its setting, of course you will expect a proportional drop in battery time when changed). Overall a lovely replacement for my flat screen TV
The product arrived on time in really good condition. I am genuinely happy with the fact that the company that has made this has gone above and beyond to make sure you even get netflix despite netflix not being supported on a $2000 Epson projector.
Image quality is really good and the sound quality is great for its size!
setup took less than 5 minutes and most settings moved over automatically from my phone.
Now, the entire setup in the picture costed me under $1500. That is roughly equivalent to 100 movie cinema tickets. For me, my wife and 2 of my friends that is 25 times going to cinema. The lamp on this projector will last you well beyond 25 x 3 hour movies! Plus you get to pause and chat, or drink and joke, or chill on a comfortable couch without having your knees in your face. You owe it to yourself to get this setup! it has been such a huge quality of life improvement for me, my family and friends.

Estaba buscando un proyector para ver pelculas y podermelo llevar a cualquier parte sin el engorro de tener que llevar los cables, despus de mirar bastantes proyectores porttiles me decid por este por el diseo y los altavoces integrados, la calidad de imagen es genial con 4 modos de ajuste, el bluetooth funciona muy bien, los altavoces aunque se nota una leve falta de graves, suenan de fbula.
La batera integrada puede que se quede un poco escasa, en las pruebas que he hecho dura unas 2’15 horas aunque a la hora y 50 entra en modo ahorro y baja el brillo para consumir menos.
En resumen muy contento con la compra, viene perfectamente embalado para que no pueda sufrir ningn golpe

I was researching portable projectors for some time and watched / read so many reviews on the xgimi halo plus. After dilly dallying for a few days I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it and oh my, I’m so glad I did! This thing is amazing. Super clear images, the detail in Frozen Planet 2 is stunning. If you’re shopping around and have this in your sights, just buy it. You won’t be disappointed
The fact you can plug in to power or just let it run off its own battery is the best. The picture quality this little projector produces is great, with vibrant colors. Now for the sound I was wowed by the fact it sounds great and even on high there is no distorted sound coming from the speakers. Check out my video the sound that is playing is from the projector. I will recommend this over the smng 360 hands down. The fact you can focus the lens from the controller was awesome sauce and it does have auto keystone but you can also do it manually with the remote control. Great product.
I have been researching portable projectors for a good while and finally took the plunge on this after reading such positive reviews online. This is a wonderful projector. It’s possible to watch content, such as brightly coloured animation in the day time, but as you would expect really excels at night. The picture is incredible, the sound is loud and immerse and the enjoyment is more than I could have imagined. For me, it was a lot of money to commit to, but certainly worthwhile. If you imagine taking this projector all around the house as I do, it’s going to be tough to beat.

Die Bediensungsanleitung ist katastrophal schlecht – bei einem selbstbewussten Preis wnscht sich der Kunde auch eine gute und umfassende Anleitung. Die Internet-Seite des Herstellers ist leider auch schlecht. There’s room for improvement.

So I purchased the Wemax dice before getting the xgimi halo + because I didn’t want to spend the extra money, but I couldn’t help myself in getting this as well to compare for myself to see any real differences between the two. Either way they are both up there in price. Although I do really like the Wemax dice, and at first I thought to myself “wow this thing is awesome and the speakers sound great, I don’t think I need to even open the halo +” but boy was I wrong.
After testing both, there’s just a few things that I can’t live with out in terms of features and service. (Auto keystone correction, customer service )
I’ll write a list of things that I like better on the halo + vs wemax dice
PROS of Halo+
-sound quality
Now I thought the dice sounded great, but after playing the same audio side by side, the halo has a much more natural cleaner sound coming out of it, it’s actually so much better i changed my view of the dice speaker and wanted to just mute it.
– the remote control on the halo feels better in terms of “clicky” of the presses. Feels superior in quality and I do like that it’s white, easier to find if misplaced.
– picture quality 5%-10% better (not noticeable unless you really take a look side by side)
-halo is slight brighter since the lumens are higher
-halo has kick stand which is really helpful, more than I thought it would be.
– BIGGEST PRO is auto keystone adjustment (MUST HAVE) after playing with this feature, I’m in love, so much that this alone sold me on it because it saves so much time, it’s smart and when you have kids that love to shake a table a bit, that can throw the screen off enough to bother you , and make you re adjust to perfection. With halo + , it’s all done for you!
-manual keystone on the dice was annoying because it just took way too long to get corners where I wanted them, with halo + it was much faster.
-with halo I can stick in a fire stick and have it powered via usb drive (with wemax it said it isn’t providing enough power, that I would need to plug the fire stick into an outlet, which defeats the purpose of being portable)
Halo + pushes more power to the fire stick!
Not only that but i needed a extension adapter because the shell of the dice restricted the fire stick to fit flush since it’s pretty thick. With the halo + , I had no issues since the shell had no restrictions as it was flush.
-OS on the halo + was 10-15% faster and everything just felt more snappy.
-CUSTOMER SERVICE- I contacted Wemax dice and it took them a couple days to respond (only option is email) and they just kept asking for videos when I clearly told them the issue I was having, which is that the auto keystone wasn’t working. Turns out, it didn’t have one. Only the halo + did.
With XGIMI though, they have a US customer care number that operates surprisingly later than most companies and you will get a live person, but even if you didn’t, they emailed me back same day! Not only that they went above and beyond to take care of my needs. This to me was worth the difference I paid alone because I know that I won’t have to worry about anything ever happening to my projector. They stand behind their product, they will go the extra mile for you, trust me they are just awesome!
This started as me getting a portable projector because my wife asked for one for the family to watch movies outside in the back yard, to me getting really excited about my new toy. This thing has so much more uses than just a back yard theater, I’ll be taking this thing everywhere I go. It’s a portable 30″-120″ tv when ever you want! Especially hotels for my business trips. XGIMI is an amazing brand that I’m very happy to have discovered!
Over all it’s SO worth spending the extra $200 for the halo+ , I am a person that cares about the small details in tech and XGIMI NAILED IT on this projector! If you are on the fence, let this be your sign to get it, you will be much happier.
This is a great projector. No issues with picture quality and the auto/manual keystone adjustments. I’m using an external blue-toothed sound system, so no comment on the built-in sound. Although it’s new to me, the initial battery full charge did not last two hours, more like 1.5 watching streamed content.
After three fails with other ($300 and $400) projectors, this is my happiness! Totally 100% top quality. It’s as high of quality as any Samsung or quality brand. Right out of the box I already knew I was going to be satisfied. We searched and searched and tried and tried and we like to watch movies outdoors during the summer. Everything about this is awesome. Now we can’t wait for football season in the garage during the winter. Do any of those I don’t know how to say how happy we are that we got this. There are two cons.
If there’s more than about six people watching you should use the Bluetooth and connect it to a larger speaker. Very easy to do. The last con is, is brightness. It is super excellent at dusk and night. It would just be nice to have one step up and brightness but compared to the other three models that we got this is the meow. I just don’t think there’s anything better available that is portable and battery operated. You don’t even really need to read the directions. Everything is step by step guided by the unit once you plug it in and turn on the power. Obviously you can plug it in for longer movie watching but we like to be outdoors. Excellent projector and happy family and friends. I rarely write reviews, but as hard as I search for this model I feel what it has provided that it deserves a review. I wish they made a case for it.

J’ai fait confiance les yeux ferms un ami pour acheter cet appareil, et j’ai bien fait , j’ai achet cran motoris pour complter mon installation, et le rendu est vraiment chouette.
Selon la distance entre le rtroprojecteur et l’cran , il y aura un halo de lumire au del de la surface de projection. Qu’on le place de ct ou de face , le rendu est super , et on est concentr sur le film et pas sur ce qu’il y a autour . Il est discret , petite soufflerie mais il l’oublie vite .
J’ai investi dans le pied vendu par la mme marque et c’est vraiment un plus , les rglages sont plus faciles en terme d’inclinaisons etc
Je sens que le cin sera un peu moins dans mes priorits prochaines.

Veramente un buon prodotto, portabilit ottima grazie alla batteria e alla possibilit della regolazione del trapezio sia in automatico che manuale che permette di posizionarlo dove si vuole, quando la telecamera interna non ce la fa a regolare in automatico per oggettivi problemi di distanza o angolo manualmente si riesce sempre a ottenere un immagine ottima, luminosit pi che sufficiente, rumorosit ottima la ventola si sente appena e audio fantastico molto soddisfatto.
Maioritariamente utilizado no quarto. Tem uma imagem bastante boa, boa qualidade de som e muito compacto, e muito facil de utilizar. No tenho qualquer problema com o produto at a data.
O unico aspecto mais negativo que posso apontar seria a durao da bateria ser de apenas entre 2 horas a 2 horas e meia no maximo.
After downsizing my home post-divorce and living in a smaller space for about a year, I decided that I wanted to pick up either a TV or get a small projector for my bedroom to watch TV, play some casual video games and potentially take it with me on camping trips. I was originally going to purchase a SS Freestyle after seeing some product commercials because I liked the feature of being able to throw the picture to my ceiling, but I decided to do my own research and eventually landed on the XGIMI Halo+.
This projector pricey, but I decided it was worth it since it did 700 lumens, has auto obstacle detection, auto focus, auto keystone and Harmon Kardon sound built-in (dual 5W speakers, I guess some of the licensing money is going to Samsung anyway since they own Harmon Kardon). The 3.5mm jack is pretty cool too as it can support headphones or if I ever decide to opt for “better” speakers.
With the HDMI input, not only can you plug in an Apple TV or a laptop…but this device performs pretty well if you decide to casually game with it. I was pretty satisfied plugging in my Nintendo Switch, and playing games like Mario Kart or Mario Party with my kids.
The only con is probably that it doesn’t do Netflix natively, but it’s not really that big of an issue as there’s a workaround via an app. Like I said above though, you can also plugin a different device via the HDMI input.
I’m a few months in now using this device and I’m very happy with the Halo+.
Unkompliziertes Aufstellen. Streamen was man will gegen jede beliebige Wand/Decke/Tr. Ein tolles Gert. Auch eigene Videos per USB Stick. Still halten sollte man ihn, sonst kalibriert er jedes Mal neu.
This was SO easy to set up and the fact that it can run totally wireless is incredible!!
I wish we could stream Netflix wirelessly too but that’s an issue with Netflix not this device, you just need to wire it to another streaming device like a phone or laptop.
It’s well worth the money and is great quality!
It’s light. Great picture quality. Although the auto keystone feature doesn’t quite work well like they advertise. I had to manually adjust 99% of the time every time I turn on the projector. It doesn’t remember last setting. Minor inconvenience.
Great projector – sound quality wasn’t as good as I’d expected , but picture makes up for that – I use my iPad and an HDMI adapter / HDMI cable to drive it with Apple TV and the movies I own / rent – have tried messing about with Google Play – its not intuitive but who cares picture quality is out of this world – I will use it in my house but also on the back of my boa
Juste gnial. Facile d’utilisation. Image superbe et grande! Portable, nomade et compact.
Son remarquable. (Utilisable d’ailleurs en tant qu’enceinte Bluetooth nomade pour la musique en dsactivant l’ecran). Utilisez une sortie dolby atmos sur amazon music premium ou Apple music et vous serez bluff.
Synergie parfaite avec une Apple tv o vous aurez netflix sans soucis dans l’cosystme d’Apple. Sinon connecter en hdmi une tablette/ordi/tlphone et a fera le taff aussi sans se prendre la tte.
Autofocus (ce qui rend nette l’image) qui fonctionne trs bien: trs pratique. D’un seul bouton et hop a s’enclenche. (Il faut bien faire attention ne pas obstruer le petit capteur situ en bas).
Cela dit il est bon de noter qu’il y a un espce d’autofocus d’arrire-fond si on peut dire (y compris donc lorsqu’on ne l’active pas sur la tlcommande) qui rend lgrement floue l’image jusqu’ ce qu’elle soit parfaitement nette. a se fait en pleine lecture donc: c’est assez trange: peut-tre est-ce l pour maintenir la configuration et le calibrage je ne sais pas. Ce n’est pas trop drangeant non plus ni mme systmatique.
Correction trapzodale trs perfectible en revanche : rien voir avec l’autofocus qui fonctionne parfaitement.
Tlcommande en plastique qui fait bas de gamme et peu solide.
Tributaire d’un boitier multimdia / smartphone / tablette / ordinateur raccord en HDMI pour Netflix. (IOS 16 qui vient de sortir ne permet pas en l’tat de diffuser Netflix dessus; ce que permettait pourtant IOS 15)
En somme :
Un petit bijou. Difficile de sauter le pas vu le prix mais on ne regrette pas ensuite.
Premier projo et entirement satisfait. voir dans la dure.
Ps: Aprs une semaine d’utilisation autres points intressants noter:
1) il manque un tout petit peu de luminosit s’il est utilis dans une penombre relative dans les scnes sombres / de nuit. Manque de dtails des scenes sombres.
2) Point trs apprciable : branch en hdmi une Apple tv les deux tlcommandes deviennent alors compltement interchangeables pour contrler ce qui se passe l’ecran (peut-tre pareil pour les autres boitiers multimdias). Ergonomie top!
(Qui plus est cela permet d’avoir de l’ethernet dessus et donc une meilleure image sur les plateformes VOD de streaming (Netflix, Prime etc.))
3) Il faut fouiller dans les paramtres un peu pour correctement le configurer. Il ne faut pas utiliser la correction trapzodale pour faire rentrer l’image sur votre toile de projection (surtout si a dborde du fait que le projecteur soit plac l’autre bout de la piece pour projeter). Rsultat : il y aura alors un effet d’aliasing (escalier) si on peut dire sur les contours des lments l’image parfois. Ce n’est pas le projo mais la mauvaise configuration qui donne a. Il faut d’abord utiliser ce qu’ils appellent l’cran zoom et ensuite utiliser la correction trapzodale. C’est p’tet vident pour ceux qui sont habitus au projecteur mais ceux qui n’y connaissent rien c’est bon savoir. En somme a reste bien plus technique BIEN configurer qu’un simple tlviseur dj prt l’emploi.
4) Evitez de projeter dans une pice qui contient des miroirs au risque d’avoir des espces de tache (claire) sur l’endroit o vous projetez (si ce qui est l’image est sombre).
Ps2 aprs quelques mois d’utilisation : un point trs apprciable qui renforce l’aspect nomade / portable que j’ai oubli de souligner : le fait qu’en dessous du projecteur se trouve un petit clapet qui permet de l’incliner et donc de l’ajuster. C’est trs pratique et on s’en rend compte surtout lorsqu’on l’emmne chez des amis justement. (Au lieu de s’amuser mettre des livres ou autres en dessous et mettre en pril sa stabilit)
Petit point noter : la qualit de l’image dpend aussi du mur ou de la toile sur lequel/laquelle vous projeter. Les murs qui sont granuleux et en effet quadrillage avec papier peint par exemple sont les pires. Le mieux est une bonne toile. Sinon un mur sans papier peint et le plus lisse possible est trs bien aussi.
I think its over hyped, it functions as advertised but i think its over advertised..i think you should upgrade to the horizon if you can ..sound quality needs some base..sometime the system lags a bit

The projector is awesome. It works as advertised. The brightness of 900 lumens is good for daytime watching as well. Would have been great if they included a carry case or at least a lens cap of sorts given that it is a portable projector. However, this clearly out performs its competitors in the portable projector market.
I bought this to use in my awning when camping and it works really well, not quite in full sunlight but as soon as it becomes dull and into the evening the picture quay is really good and the sound is clear and rounded.
Eigentlich ist schon alles im Titel verraten.
Ich hatte mir einige Wochen mit der Entscheidung Zeit gelassen auch in Hinsicht auf den Freestyle wollte ich keine frhe Entscheidung treffen.
Der Freestyle sollte es nun nicht mehr werden, fr gerade einmal 200 Ansi Lumen, teuer. Akku muss zudem separat erworben werden.
Den Projektor mchten wir auch im Wohnmobil benutzen, aber hier habe ich noch keine Erfahrungen.
Nach vielen Testberichten und YouTube Vorstellungen habe ich mich nun fr den XGIMI Halo+ entschieden. Mit 850 kein gnstiges Gert, wenn man bei vlliger Dunkelheit schaut kann man sicherlich auch mit Gerten glcklich werden die nur ein drittel kosten.
Das Gert kam top verpackt an, es hinterlsst wie auch die Fernbedienung einen wertigen und kompakten Eindruck.
Die automatisch Trapez- und Focuskorrektur berzeugt, sie ist schnell und zuverlssig. Den Lfter hrt man nicht wirklich, selbst ohne Tonausgabe ist er bei mir nicht prsent. Was doch etwas berraschend war, da zumeist zu hren war das der Lfter zwar sehr leise aber hrbar sein soll. Ich hatte den Projektor neben mir auf einen Beistelltisch gestellt, in Kopfhhe nur 30/40 cm entfernt und hatte den Lfter nicht wahrgenommen.
Bei Tageslicht kann man nicht wirklich schauen, in einem schattigen Raum ist es ein Frage des Abstands.
Beim einrichten hatte ich ihn ca. 50 cm vor einer relativ hellen Wand positioniert und alles war hervorragend zu lesen, hier ist dann die Bildgre aber auch nur geschtzt zwischen 25 und 28Zoll.
Bei 2 m Abstand und einer Diagonale von 150 Zoll erkennt man kaum noch etwas.
Anders nach Sonnenuntergang, in 4,3 m Entfernung aufgestellt, ergab sich eine Diagonale von ca. 3,2 m mit einem beeindruckenden hellen und scharfen Bild mit einem ansprechendem Sound. Hier kann man bei diesem kompakten Projektor nicht meckern. Ich hatte mir einen 4K Film zur Genge gefhrt, hier hatt e ich anfangs das Problem mit kurzen Tonaussetzern ber einen Blutooth Kopfhrer mit dem x…. Player, was nach einigen Minuten verwand. Nach ca. 1,5 Stunden war der Ton pltzlich ganz weg mit der Fehlermeldung das DTS Dolby Ausgabe nicht untersttzt wird. Auch ein Neustarten etc. brachte den Ton nicht zurck. Daraufhin den VLC Player installiert und alles lief hervorragend keine Tonaussetzer ber Bluetooth Kopfhrer, kein ruckeln. Werde wohl zuknftig nur diesen Player nutzen. Aber es war mein erster Film ber USB. D.h. das kann auch mit dem Film 4K, Bitrate etc. zusammenhngen.
Beim einrichten hatte ich allerdings ernsthafte Probleme wegen einer unsinnigen Bezeichnung.
Das Firmenwareupdate hatte ich akzeptiert, mit weiter kommt man in einen Abschnitt der einige Funktionen erklrt. Der vierte Punkt offeriert 4 Punkte; Focus, Trapezkorrektur, u.a. . Hier kann man nichts einstellen, nur die 3 Punkte und den vierten Punkt mit “Nein Danke” betitelt selektieren.
Also nahm ich an das in Hintergrund die Einrichtung luft, aber nach 5 min, nichts, 30 min nichts.
Neu gestartet, gleiches, bis ich dann einfach mal Nein Danke ausgewhlt hatte, dann erst startete die Einrichtung. Im weiteren Verlauf dann zgig und problemlos.
Netflix ist leider noch nicht zertifiziert, aber mit der App “DesktopManager” funktioniert auch das.
Was sonst noch, sobald man das Gert bewegt und die automatische Korrektur aktiviert ist wird sofort neu ausgerichtet und fokussiert. Auch das Betrachten unter der Decke ist mglich, hier war ich mir nicht sicher wegen des Gyroskopsensors, den er denke ich hat und ob dieser auch im liegen funktioniert. Tut er.
Hier muss man nur acht geben das man die Lftung auf der Rckseite ermglicht.
Also fr mich habe ich alles richtig gemacht und bin ausgesprochen zufrieden.
Fr mich stimmt der Preis zum gebotenem.
Blown away. Purchased for use in motorhome and just set it up in my dedicated cinema room. Was never going to compete with the laser projector, but very very impressed with just how good it is. Sound quality is spot on for its intended use and the image far better than expected. Even throwing into a 150 inch screen is very watchable. Scale down to 60 inch or so and fantastic. Happy camper indeed.
I used it to watch a movie. It’s such a wonderful quality projector. the sound is awesome too. auto keystone works really well. Thank you Xgimi for such an amazing product! Samsung could learn a thing or two about projectors from this company.
I am super happy I paid the extra money for this projector. Set it up today on the living room wall and the picture is phenomenal. I can’t wait to see it on a projector screen outside at night. The interface is really easy to use and I love how you just set it up and it calibrates the screen without any sort of issue. You can also move the screen and adjust the size manually.
We hooked the switch up and played some video games and it was flawless. Also watched turning red on the Disney + app and it worked really well. The sound is also a lot more than I expected. I am more than pleased with this and can’t wait for the warm weather to bring it outside

I’ve used the Xgimi Mogo Pro & Elfin and thought the Halo+ would give me all the features I love about the others plus more. The auto keystone & obstacle avoidance features don’t work as well as the Elfin using the same setup/position. I always have to manually adjust because it’s crooked or tells me correction failed. I did all the calibration setting & the picture still comes out crooked.
Also, the device will not power on sometimes (this is when it’s not in hibernate, and I push the button)
I will try some more troubleshooting but thought I would have less manual steps because of the higher price tag. Right now I’m leaning towards keeping the Elfin and returning the Halo+. I’m a newbie when it comes to projectors…so I’m not sure if I just got a defective one or if I’m doing something wrong. This Halo+ didn’t have any reviews on Amazon when I purchased, so I took a gamble. All I know is the Elfin hit the mark right out the box and has been much easier to use; I just wish it had an internal battery!
The picture shows the Elfin at the top & Halo+ at the bottom after auto keystone. I turned the Halo+ on first, then the Elfin. I will post more pics & videos when I get time.
I originally bought this projector to project presentations from my laptop. However, it is far more than a projector.
The ability to download apps, screen cast and link to my computer, via HDMI, and memory stick, via USB, makes this device very versatile. The sound quality from the internal speaker is reasonable, for a small device, but the headphone jack and Bluetooth features enable sound to be improved, in stereo.
I like this projector because it is compact and portable. I live in a small place, so it saves space compared to having a large TV in the room.
After lots of research and review reading I purchased this as a surprise Christmas gift for my husband. We both really love it and usually watch something on it most evenings each week. At this price point it’s excellent value and quality for your money. Especially if you’re perhaps buying your first projector and want something really decent but can’t stretch to a 4k model.
The device itself is a neat and sleek design that can easily be moved about and doesn’t look intrusive in your living spaces. There’s no carry case but personally we don’t intend to move it too far, just room to room so it’s not going to be an issue. If you’re taking it on trips, I’d think a case of some kind would be a good idea to protect it from damage.
I bought this to use in our bedroom as its a smallish room and we’d prefer not to take up precious space with a TV. Additionally I’m not fond of the look of TVs in bedrooms but that’s just me so it works well if you’re of a similar mind and want a “TV” but without a big dark screen dominating your space.
We have a pale smooth wall and project straight onto that, no screen necessary. I imagine the image quality might be even better with a screen but we’re perfectly happy without one for now.
We currently set the size to approx 90 inches and have the device positioned approx 2 metres from the wall.
The picture quality is really great, very bright, good colour and detail. Autofocus works brilliantly so it was quick to set up and start watching straight away. We have a 4k TV downstairs and will happily watch either without feeling we’re making any compromise really. In fact it’s fun to watch films on the bigger screen so often we’ll opt for the projector over the TV.
The sound quality is also really really decent, not at all tinny, it’s clear, rich and loud if need be. I imagined we would need to get a sound-bar but so far we’re actually really happy as is. The noise from the fan is also very very minimal too, we certainly don’t find it interferes when we’re watching films at all, we don’t notice it.
Brightness is again great. We generally use it in a darkened room but occasionally we’ll have low light from lamps and that’s fine. We’ve also used it during daylight hours and whilst it’s obviously not quite as bright, it’s still very decent and we don’t have thick curtains or blackouts. If you do then you’ll be fine, you’re always going to get the best picture quality in a darker room.
Couple of points to note is that there is no native Netflix app on this device as others have mentioned. We use an Amazon Fire Stick to get around this without any issue at all – though it would be great to see this integrated in the future.
The other point is the battery life. It’s actually very fair given the nature of the device but it can be limiting if you’re watching a feature length film or perhaps sports. You don’t want to loose power at a crucial moment so I’d take this into consideration depending on what you want from your projector and whether you are able to plug in where you plan to use it most. Ours is plugged in but overall, the battery option is a plus as we plan to use it outdoors and on camping trips when the weather permits. Great for family film nights in the summer for a bit of fun etc.
We have noticed the autofocus kick in now and again when we’re watching but it’s not a very regular issue and isn’t particularly distracting when it does happen. But it’s something we noticed; at least you’re watching in focus and not having to fiddle about with it yourself.
Overall, I really can’t see a reason not to give 5 stars. It was a bit of a risk on my part as my husband is very into his tech and very particular about it. I did tell him I wouldn’t be offended if he wanted to swap it if it wasn’t right but he really likes it so I was happy about that. In fact big thanks to everyone else who left reviews and helped me to choose well!

Picture quality is amazing, even when you have uneven surfaces, or have to put it in akward place on the go. It readjust itself quite fast. tested on 100″ screen and its AMAZING for the price. Bright enough to even have small table lights going and not affecting quality as bad as YT reviews show. And the sound system og my. Had a chance to test it in high ceiling room and it was close enough to cinema. Shame battery don’t last entire movie, but 1.5h short film should hold no problem.
I got a 100″ image (see photo) from around 3m (distance is a guess), and it was really bright even with 2 lights on in the room and a 55″ TV directly opposite the wall being projected on.
Despite what everyone seem to be saying, I was able to download and use Netflix directly from the Google store with absolutely no issues whatsoever.
Delivery was speedy too. Arrived just in time to watch Liverpool demolish Man U 7-0 at the weekend 🙂
After reading many reviews on many projectors I opted for the Halo plus and omg it was so the right decision.
It arrived impeccably packaged and from the onset it you could tell it was going to be a quality product.
Unboxed it quickly as was like a kid in a sweet shop and was amazed at how easy it was to set up. Quickly connected to WiFi and opted for use of a fire stick purely for ease of use with Netflix.
The keystone correction and autofocus work like a dream and picture quality even in a lit room is superbly impressive.
( also didn’t realise it had digital zoom, it DOES!! massive plus )
The only small niggle was a problem with the remote control connection but this was quickly solved with the help of customer service which I have to say the service was flawless.
The battery life is good, I got 2 hours 20 minutes and it only takes 2.5 hours to recharge.
Also, the sound is very very impressive and I’ve no need to connect it to my Sonos system.
In conclusion, this is one serious bit of kit, compact, quality and well worth the money I spent on it.
Would love to get the Aura as my next xgimi purchase as I’m sure that would get the same if not better review so I better get saving.
Look people, you pay for what you get and with this Halo plus, you’re getting a lot !

Although I still need to manually adjust the display as I normally will not place the Halo in front of the screen, the procedure of trapezoidal adjustment is not difficult.
Overall, very happy with it and highly recommended!
Genuinely blown away by the quality of this projector. Simple, intuitive set up anywhere on the go and good enough brightness to use even in well lit rooms.
However, by far the best thing about it is how lightweight the product is. I’ve taken this with me for work both to Austria and Italy using the spacious carry case and used it as simple carry-on back pack luggage
Love it and now use it instead of a top of the line TV I brought slightly over a year ago as the quality is just superior especially in a dark room

Besonders hervorhebens wert ist der eingebaute Akku, der eine Nutzung von knapp3 Stunden ohne Steckdose zulsst.

Very lovely and picture rich especially when the ambience is right (less amount of light coming through the windows), performs well in the bright environment however with 900 ANSI, you will enjoy it best and see its entire beauty come alive when environment light is kept to its minimum. Also noticed that the box’s full brightness is enhanced when its plugged into power, when unplugged, it automatically dims brightness (this can be changed in its setting, of course you will expect a proportional drop in battery time when changed). Overall a lovely replacement for my flat screen TV
The product arrived on time in really good condition. I am genuinely happy with the fact that the company that has made this has gone above and beyond to make sure you even get netflix despite netflix not being supported on a $2000 Epson projector.
Image quality is really good and the sound quality is great for its size!
setup took less than 5 minutes and most settings moved over automatically from my phone.
Now, the entire setup in the picture costed me under $1500. That is roughly equivalent to 100 movie cinema tickets. For me, my wife and 2 of my friends that is 25 times going to cinema. The lamp on this projector will last you well beyond 25 x 3 hour movies! Plus you get to pause and chat, or drink and joke, or chill on a comfortable couch without having your knees in your face. You owe it to yourself to get this setup! it has been such a huge quality of life improvement for me, my family and friends.

I had the Halo which was a decent projector, especially for the price but the Halo+ is well worth the little extra price. It has a brighter picture, supports HDR10 and AndroidTV runs way smoother on the Halo+. I have the projector sitting right next to me and can barely hear the fan so its nice and quiet. Definitely recommend this projector and XGIMI customer service is probably some of the best I’ve dealt with in a long time.
Estaba buscando un proyector para ver pelculas y podermelo llevar a cualquier parte sin el engorro de tener que llevar los cables, despus de mirar bastantes proyectores porttiles me decid por este por el diseo y los altavoces integrados, la calidad de imagen es genial con 4 modos de ajuste, el bluetooth funciona muy bien, los altavoces aunque se nota una leve falta de graves, suenan de fbula.
La batera integrada puede que se quede un poco escasa, en las pruebas que he hecho dura unas 2’15 horas aunque a la hora y 50 entra en modo ahorro y baja el brillo para consumir menos.
En resumen muy contento con la compra, viene perfectamente embalado para que no pueda sufrir ningn golpe

As a camping fanatic, I always wonder what can enrich the camping night with my friends. When I browsed the Nytimes the Halo+ catched my eye immediately. That is the ONE!!! Then I bought it on Amazon and got this one best camping night than ever. Owning a natural cinema,enjoying my favored movie through Halo+ which is matched with Harman Kardon speakers, my camping trip is nothing short of extraordinary. At first, I mainly get attracted by its “portable” characteristic, however, I have to admit that this projector is really worth of the price due to its fabulous image quality and multiple advantages like intelligent obstacle avoidance and auto keystone correction. Furthermore, I am really pleased that Halo+ can provide seamless access to apps like Prime Vedio and HBO Max. It does contain an entertainment paradise!!!but it can’t support Netflix ,XGIMI have the good after-sale service ,they give me a way to solve it.

I was researching portable projectors for some time and watched / read so many reviews on the xgimi halo plus. After dilly dallying for a few days I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it and oh my, I’m so glad I did! This thing is amazing. Super clear images, the detail in Frozen Planet 2 is stunning. If you’re shopping around and have this in your sights, just buy it. You won’t be disappointed
I have been researching portable projectors for a good while and finally took the plunge on this after reading such positive reviews online. This is a wonderful projector. It’s possible to watch content, such as brightly coloured animation in the day time, but as you would expect really excels at night. The picture is incredible, the sound is loud and immerse and the enjoyment is more than I could have imagined. For me, it was a lot of money to commit to, but certainly worthwhile. If you imagine taking this projector all around the house as I do, it’s going to be tough to beat.

After testing both, there’s just a few things that I can’t live with out in terms of features and service. (Auto keystone correction, customer service )
I’ll write a list of things that I like better on the halo + vs wemax dice
PROS of Halo+
-sound quality
Now I thought the dice sounded great, but after playing the same audio side by side, the halo has a much more natural cleaner sound coming out of it, it’s actually so much better i changed my view of the dice speaker and wanted to just mute it.
– the remote control on the halo feels better in terms of “clicky” of the presses. Feels superior in quality and I do like that it’s white, easier to find if misplaced.
– picture quality 5%-10% better (not noticeable unless you really take a look side by side)
-halo is slight brighter since the lumens are higher
-halo has kick stand which is really helpful, more than I thought it would be.
– BIGGEST PRO is auto keystone adjustment (MUST HAVE) after playing with this feature, I’m in love, so much that this alone sold me on it because it saves so much time, it’s smart and when you have kids that love to shake a table a bit, that can throw the screen off enough to bother you , and make you re adjust to perfection. With halo + , it’s all done for you!
-manual keystone on the dice was annoying because it just took way too long to get corners where I wanted them, with halo + it was much faster.
-with halo I can stick in a fire stick and have it powered via usb drive (with wemax it said it isn’t providing enough power, that I would need to plug the fire stick into an outlet, which defeats the purpose of being portable)
Halo + pushes more power to the fire stick!
Not only that but i needed a extension adapter because the shell of the dice restricted the fire stick to fit flush since it’s pretty thick. With the halo + , I had no issues since the shell had no restrictions as it was flush.
-OS on the halo + was 10-15% faster and everything just felt more snappy.
-CUSTOMER SERVICE- I contacted Wemax dice and it took them a couple days to respond (only option is email) and they just kept asking for videos when I clearly told them the issue I was having, which is that the auto keystone wasn’t working. Turns out, it didn’t have one. Only the halo + did.
With XGIMI though, they have a US customer care number that operates surprisingly later than most companies and you will get a live person, but even if you didn’t, they emailed me back same day! Not only that they went above and beyond to take care of my needs. This to me was worth the difference I paid alone because I know that I won’t have to worry about anything ever happening to my projector. They stand behind their product, they will go the extra mile for you, trust me they are just awesome!
This started as me getting a portable projector because my wife asked for one for the family to watch movies outside in the back yard, to me getting really excited about my new toy. This thing has so much more uses than just a back yard theater, I’ll be taking this thing everywhere I go. It’s a portable 30″-120″ tv when ever you want! Especially hotels for my business trips. XGIMI is an amazing brand that I’m very happy to have discovered!
Over all it’s SO worth spending the extra $200 for the halo+ , I am a person that cares about the small details in tech and XGIMI NAILED IT on this projector! If you are on the fence, let this be your sign to get it, you will be much happier.

This is a great projector. No issues with picture quality and the auto/manual keystone adjustments. I’m using an external blue-toothed sound system, so no comment on the built-in sound. Although it’s new to me, the initial battery full charge did not last two hours, more like 1.5 watching streamed content.
If there’s more than about six people watching you should use the Bluetooth and connect it to a larger speaker. Very easy to do. The last con is, is brightness. It is super excellent at dusk and night. It would just be nice to have one step up and brightness but compared to the other three models that we got this is the meow. I just don’t think there’s anything better available that is portable and battery operated. You don’t even really need to read the directions. Everything is step by step guided by the unit once you plug it in and turn on the power. Obviously you can plug it in for longer movie watching but we like to be outdoors. Excellent projector and happy family and friends. I rarely write reviews, but as hard as I search for this model I feel what it has provided that it deserves a review. I wish they made a case for it.
J’ai fait confiance les yeux ferms un ami pour acheter cet appareil, et j’ai bien fait , j’ai achet cran motoris pour complter mon installation, et le rendu est vraiment chouette.
Selon la distance entre le rtroprojecteur et l’cran , il y aura un halo de lumire au del de la surface de projection. Qu’on le place de ct ou de face , le rendu est super , et on est concentr sur le film et pas sur ce qu’il y a autour . Il est discret , petite soufflerie mais il l’oublie vite .
J’ai investi dans le pied vendu par la mme marque et c’est vraiment un plus , les rglages sont plus faciles en terme d’inclinaisons etc
Je sens que le cin sera un peu moins dans mes priorits prochaines.

Veramente un buon prodotto, portabilit ottima grazie alla batteria e alla possibilit della regolazione del trapezio sia in automatico che manuale che permette di posizionarlo dove si vuole, quando la telecamera interna non ce la fa a regolare in automatico per oggettivi problemi di distanza o angolo manualmente si riesce sempre a ottenere un immagine ottima, luminosit pi che sufficiente, rumorosit ottima la ventola si sente appena e audio fantastico molto soddisfatto.
Maioritariamente utilizado no quarto. Tem uma imagem bastante boa, boa qualidade de som e muito compacto, e muito facil de utilizar. No tenho qualquer problema com o produto at a data.
O unico aspecto mais negativo que posso apontar seria a durao da bateria ser de apenas entre 2 horas a 2 horas e meia no maximo.

The picture is absolutely stunning for a projector this price , and the sound is very good also
This projector pricey, but I decided it was worth it since it did 700 lumens, has auto obstacle detection, auto focus, auto keystone and Harmon Kardon sound built-in (dual 5W speakers, I guess some of the licensing money is going to Samsung anyway since they own Harmon Kardon). The 3.5mm jack is pretty cool too as it can support headphones or if I ever decide to opt for “better” speakers.
With the HDMI input, not only can you plug in an Apple TV or a laptop…but this device performs pretty well if you decide to casually game with it. I was pretty satisfied plugging in my Nintendo Switch, and playing games like Mario Kart or Mario Party with my kids.
The only con is probably that it doesn’t do Netflix natively, but it’s not really that big of an issue as there’s a workaround via an app. Like I said above though, you can also plugin a different device via the HDMI input.
I’m a few months in now using this device and I’m very happy with the Halo+.
TL;DR – This thing is great.
Unkompliziertes Aufstellen. Streamen was man will gegen jede beliebige Wand/Decke/Tr. Ein tolles Gert. Auch eigene Videos per USB Stick. Still halten sollte man ihn, sonst kalibriert er jedes Mal neu.
This was SO easy to set up and the fact that it can run totally wireless is incredible!!
I wish we could stream Netflix wirelessly too but that’s an issue with Netflix not this device, you just need to wire it to another streaming device like a phone or laptop.
It’s well worth the money and is great quality!

Son remarquable. (Utilisable d’ailleurs en tant qu’enceinte Bluetooth nomade pour la musique en dsactivant l’ecran). Utilisez une sortie dolby atmos sur amazon music premium ou Apple music et vous serez bluff.
Synergie parfaite avec une Apple tv o vous aurez netflix sans soucis dans l’cosystme d’Apple. Sinon connecter en hdmi une tablette/ordi/tlphone et a fera le taff aussi sans se prendre la tte.
Autofocus (ce qui rend nette l’image) qui fonctionne trs bien: trs pratique. D’un seul bouton et hop a s’enclenche. (Il faut bien faire attention ne pas obstruer le petit capteur situ en bas).
Cela dit il est bon de noter qu’il y a un espce d’autofocus d’arrire-fond si on peut dire (y compris donc lorsqu’on ne l’active pas sur la tlcommande) qui rend lgrement floue l’image jusqu’ ce qu’elle soit parfaitement nette. a se fait en pleine lecture donc: c’est assez trange: peut-tre est-ce l pour maintenir la configuration et le calibrage je ne sais pas. Ce n’est pas trop drangeant non plus ni mme systmatique.
Correction trapzodale trs perfectible en revanche : rien voir avec l’autofocus qui fonctionne parfaitement.
Tlcommande en plastique qui fait bas de gamme et peu solide.
Tributaire d’un boitier multimdia / smartphone / tablette / ordinateur raccord en HDMI pour Netflix. (IOS 16 qui vient de sortir ne permet pas en l’tat de diffuser Netflix dessus; ce que permettait pourtant IOS 15)
En somme :
Un petit bijou. Difficile de sauter le pas vu le prix mais on ne regrette pas ensuite.
Premier projo et entirement satisfait. voir dans la dure.
Ps: Aprs une semaine d’utilisation autres points intressants noter:
1) il manque un tout petit peu de luminosit s’il est utilis dans une penombre relative dans les scnes sombres / de nuit. Manque de dtails des scenes sombres.
2) Point trs apprciable : branch en hdmi une Apple tv les deux tlcommandes deviennent alors compltement interchangeables pour contrler ce qui se passe l’ecran (peut-tre pareil pour les autres boitiers multimdias). Ergonomie top!
(Qui plus est cela permet d’avoir de l’ethernet dessus et donc une meilleure image sur les plateformes VOD de streaming (Netflix, Prime etc.))
3) Il faut fouiller dans les paramtres un peu pour correctement le configurer. Il ne faut pas utiliser la correction trapzodale pour faire rentrer l’image sur votre toile de projection (surtout si a dborde du fait que le projecteur soit plac l’autre bout de la piece pour projeter). Rsultat : il y aura alors un effet d’aliasing (escalier) si on peut dire sur les contours des lments l’image parfois. Ce n’est pas le projo mais la mauvaise configuration qui donne a. Il faut d’abord utiliser ce qu’ils appellent l’cran zoom et ensuite utiliser la correction trapzodale. C’est p’tet vident pour ceux qui sont habitus au projecteur mais ceux qui n’y connaissent rien c’est bon savoir. En somme a reste bien plus technique BIEN configurer qu’un simple tlviseur dj prt l’emploi.
4) Evitez de projeter dans une pice qui contient des miroirs au risque d’avoir des espces de tache (claire) sur l’endroit o vous projetez (si ce qui est l’image est sombre).
Ps2 aprs quelques mois d’utilisation : un point trs apprciable qui renforce l’aspect nomade / portable que j’ai oubli de souligner : le fait qu’en dessous du projecteur se trouve un petit clapet qui permet de l’incliner et donc de l’ajuster. C’est trs pratique et on s’en rend compte surtout lorsqu’on l’emmne chez des amis justement. (Au lieu de s’amuser mettre des livres ou autres en dessous et mettre en pril sa stabilit)
Petit point noter : la qualit de l’image dpend aussi du mur ou de la toile sur lequel/laquelle vous projeter. Les murs qui sont granuleux et en effet quadrillage avec papier peint par exemple sont les pires. Le mieux est une bonne toile. Sinon un mur sans papier peint et le plus lisse possible est trs bien aussi.

The projector is awesome. It works as advertised. The brightness of 900 lumens is good for daytime watching as well. Would have been great if they included a carry case or at least a lens cap of sorts given that it is a portable projector. However, this clearly out performs its competitors in the portable projector market.
I bought this to use in my awning when camping and it works really well, not quite in full sunlight but as soon as it becomes dull and into the evening the picture quay is really good and the sound is clear and rounded.
Overall it is perfect for what we wanted it for!
Ich hatte mir einige Wochen mit der Entscheidung Zeit gelassen auch in Hinsicht auf den Freestyle wollte ich keine frhe Entscheidung treffen.
Der Freestyle sollte es nun nicht mehr werden, fr gerade einmal 200 Ansi Lumen, teuer. Akku muss zudem separat erworben werden.
Den Projektor mchten wir auch im Wohnmobil benutzen, aber hier habe ich noch keine Erfahrungen.
Nach vielen Testberichten und YouTube Vorstellungen habe ich mich nun fr den XGIMI Halo+ entschieden. Mit 850 kein gnstiges Gert, wenn man bei vlliger Dunkelheit schaut kann man sicherlich auch mit Gerten glcklich werden die nur ein drittel kosten.
Das Gert kam top verpackt an, es hinterlsst wie auch die Fernbedienung einen wertigen und kompakten Eindruck.
Die automatisch Trapez- und Focuskorrektur berzeugt, sie ist schnell und zuverlssig. Den Lfter hrt man nicht wirklich, selbst ohne Tonausgabe ist er bei mir nicht prsent. Was doch etwas berraschend war, da zumeist zu hren war das der Lfter zwar sehr leise aber hrbar sein soll. Ich hatte den Projektor neben mir auf einen Beistelltisch gestellt, in Kopfhhe nur 30/40 cm entfernt und hatte den Lfter nicht wahrgenommen.
Bei Tageslicht kann man nicht wirklich schauen, in einem schattigen Raum ist es ein Frage des Abstands.
Beim einrichten hatte ich ihn ca. 50 cm vor einer relativ hellen Wand positioniert und alles war hervorragend zu lesen, hier ist dann die Bildgre aber auch nur geschtzt zwischen 25 und 28Zoll.
Bei 2 m Abstand und einer Diagonale von 150 Zoll erkennt man kaum noch etwas.
Anders nach Sonnenuntergang, in 4,3 m Entfernung aufgestellt, ergab sich eine Diagonale von ca. 3,2 m mit einem beeindruckenden hellen und scharfen Bild mit einem ansprechendem Sound. Hier kann man bei diesem kompakten Projektor nicht meckern. Ich hatte mir einen 4K Film zur Genge gefhrt, hier hatt e ich anfangs das Problem mit kurzen Tonaussetzern ber einen Blutooth Kopfhrer mit dem x…. Player, was nach einigen Minuten verwand. Nach ca. 1,5 Stunden war der Ton pltzlich ganz weg mit der Fehlermeldung das DTS Dolby Ausgabe nicht untersttzt wird. Auch ein Neustarten etc. brachte den Ton nicht zurck. Daraufhin den VLC Player installiert und alles lief hervorragend keine Tonaussetzer ber Bluetooth Kopfhrer, kein ruckeln. Werde wohl zuknftig nur diesen Player nutzen. Aber es war mein erster Film ber USB. D.h. das kann auch mit dem Film 4K, Bitrate etc. zusammenhngen.
Beim einrichten hatte ich allerdings ernsthafte Probleme wegen einer unsinnigen Bezeichnung.
Das Firmenwareupdate hatte ich akzeptiert, mit weiter kommt man in einen Abschnitt der einige Funktionen erklrt. Der vierte Punkt offeriert 4 Punkte; Focus, Trapezkorrektur, u.a. . Hier kann man nichts einstellen, nur die 3 Punkte und den vierten Punkt mit “Nein Danke” betitelt selektieren.
Also nahm ich an das in Hintergrund die Einrichtung luft, aber nach 5 min, nichts, 30 min nichts.
Neu gestartet, gleiches, bis ich dann einfach mal Nein Danke ausgewhlt hatte, dann erst startete die Einrichtung. Im weiteren Verlauf dann zgig und problemlos.
Netflix ist leider noch nicht zertifiziert, aber mit der App “DesktopManager” funktioniert auch das.
Was sonst noch, sobald man das Gert bewegt und die automatische Korrektur aktiviert ist wird sofort neu ausgerichtet und fokussiert. Auch das Betrachten unter der Decke ist mglich, hier war ich mir nicht sicher wegen des Gyroskopsensors, den er denke ich hat und ob dieser auch im liegen funktioniert. Tut er.
Hier muss man nur acht geben das man die Lftung auf der Rckseite ermglicht.
Also fr mich habe ich alles richtig gemacht und bin ausgesprochen zufrieden.
Fr mich stimmt der Preis zum gebotenem.
Blown away. Purchased for use in motorhome and just set it up in my dedicated cinema room. Was never going to compete with the laser projector, but very very impressed with just how good it is. Sound quality is spot on for its intended use and the image far better than expected. Even throwing into a 150 inch screen is very watchable. Scale down to 60 inch or so and fantastic. Happy camper indeed.
Quick setup, straight to streaming instantly although can’t use Netflix (hopefully future update?)
We hooked the switch up and played some video games and it was flawless. Also watched turning red on the Disney + app and it worked really well. The sound is also a lot more than I expected. I am more than pleased with this and can’t wait for the warm weather to bring it outside

I’ve used the Xgimi Mogo Pro & Elfin and thought the Halo+ would give me all the features I love about the others plus more. The auto keystone & obstacle avoidance features don’t work as well as the Elfin using the same setup/position. I always have to manually adjust because it’s crooked or tells me correction failed. I did all the calibration setting & the picture still comes out crooked.
Also, the device will not power on sometimes (this is when it’s not in hibernate, and I push the button)
I will try some more troubleshooting but thought I would have less manual steps because of the higher price tag. Right now I’m leaning towards keeping the Elfin and returning the Halo+. I’m a newbie when it comes to projectors…so I’m not sure if I just got a defective one or if I’m doing something wrong. This Halo+ didn’t have any reviews on Amazon when I purchased, so I took a gamble. All I know is the Elfin hit the mark right out the box and has been much easier to use; I just wish it had an internal battery!
The picture shows the Elfin at the top & Halo+ at the bottom after auto keystone. I turned the Halo+ on first, then the Elfin. I will post more pics & videos when I get time.
I originally bought this projector to project presentations from my laptop. However, it is far more than a projector.
The ability to download apps, screen cast and link to my computer, via HDMI, and memory stick, via USB, makes this device very versatile. The sound quality from the internal speaker is reasonable, for a small device, but the headphone jack and Bluetooth features enable sound to be improved, in stereo.
I like this projector because it is compact and portable. I live in a small place, so it saves space compared to having a large TV in the room.
After lots of research and review reading I purchased this as a surprise Christmas gift for my husband. We both really love it and usually watch something on it most evenings each week. At this price point it’s excellent value and quality for your money. Especially if you’re perhaps buying your first projector and want something really decent but can’t stretch to a 4k model.
The device itself is a neat and sleek design that can easily be moved about and doesn’t look intrusive in your living spaces. There’s no carry case but personally we don’t intend to move it too far, just room to room so it’s not going to be an issue. If you’re taking it on trips, I’d think a case of some kind would be a good idea to protect it from damage.
I bought this to use in our bedroom as its a smallish room and we’d prefer not to take up precious space with a TV. Additionally I’m not fond of the look of TVs in bedrooms but that’s just me so it works well if you’re of a similar mind and want a “TV” but without a big dark screen dominating your space.
We have a pale smooth wall and project straight onto that, no screen necessary. I imagine the image quality might be even better with a screen but we’re perfectly happy without one for now.
We currently set the size to approx 90 inches and have the device positioned approx 2 metres from the wall.
The picture quality is really great, very bright, good colour and detail. Autofocus works brilliantly so it was quick to set up and start watching straight away. We have a 4k TV downstairs and will happily watch either without feeling we’re making any compromise really. In fact it’s fun to watch films on the bigger screen so often we’ll opt for the projector over the TV.
The sound quality is also really really decent, not at all tinny, it’s clear, rich and loud if need be. I imagined we would need to get a sound-bar but so far we’re actually really happy as is. The noise from the fan is also very very minimal too, we certainly don’t find it interferes when we’re watching films at all, we don’t notice it.
Brightness is again great. We generally use it in a darkened room but occasionally we’ll have low light from lamps and that’s fine. We’ve also used it during daylight hours and whilst it’s obviously not quite as bright, it’s still very decent and we don’t have thick curtains or blackouts. If you do then you’ll be fine, you’re always going to get the best picture quality in a darker room.
Couple of points to note is that there is no native Netflix app on this device as others have mentioned. We use an Amazon Fire Stick to get around this without any issue at all – though it would be great to see this integrated in the future.
The other point is the battery life. It’s actually very fair given the nature of the device but it can be limiting if you’re watching a feature length film or perhaps sports. You don’t want to loose power at a crucial moment so I’d take this into consideration depending on what you want from your projector and whether you are able to plug in where you plan to use it most. Ours is plugged in but overall, the battery option is a plus as we plan to use it outdoors and on camping trips when the weather permits. Great for family film nights in the summer for a bit of fun etc.
We have noticed the autofocus kick in now and again when we’re watching but it’s not a very regular issue and isn’t particularly distracting when it does happen. But it’s something we noticed; at least you’re watching in focus and not having to fiddle about with it yourself.
Overall, I really can’t see a reason not to give 5 stars. It was a bit of a risk on my part as my husband is very into his tech and very particular about it. I did tell him I wouldn’t be offended if he wanted to swap it if it wasn’t right but he really likes it so I was happy about that. In fact big thanks to everyone else who left reviews and helped me to choose well!

There are some smaller annoying things that you have to get used to, like reduced brightness if power supply is not plugged in, regular auto refocus if wall surface is not smooth, some apps crash (probably more a platform than a Halo issue).
