6 pack of solar lamps for outside

Warm Tips:

You need to install the solar panel in a place where the sun can shine, and the charging effect will be better when the switch is turned on.

Please install the solar panel in a place where the sun can shine, the best installation height is 2-3 meters, the sensor is the most sensitive.

If you need to open it during the day, you need to cover the solar panel to light up.

The first time you use it, you need to tear off the plastic film on the surface of the solar panel and expose them to more than 8 hours.

Now that electricity has gotten crazy expensive, investing in solar powered products like these is a really good idea in my opinion. You get 6 lights at 6 each, which is a very reasonable price to be honest! I’ve set these up along the side of my house when walking along the alley to my garden and they work perfectly.

The area there in doesn’t even get direct sunlight, they’re just charging off standard daylight! Regardless, they work flawlessy and really light up the area when walking by. I have these set to the 3rd mode so that they turn off when nobody is there, and it saves a lot of battery!

These are quite small but they really do pack a punch so you won’t be disappointed. Overall, I think they’re great for the price and I’d highly recommend them!

These solar-powered security lights have been a welcome addition to my back garden. Surprisingly bright and powerful, they work far better than I anticipated and go on as soon as anyone goes anywhere near them at night.

The lights also seem very durable and weatherproof so I’d definitely recommend at the current price of around 36 for a set of six.

Peasur 178LED Outdoor Solar Security Lights [6Pack]
The pack of 6 solar rechargeable security light come tightly packed in a cardboard box. Along with the lights are six packets of fixing screws and wall plugs and a user guide.
The light units have LEDs on the front and each end 178 in all to provide a good level of light output. Each enclosure has two fixing holes at the top for the mounting screws, the front of the light has the operation button and the IR movement sensor.
Mounting the security lights is easy, I simply had to drill two holes into the wall the right distance apart, insert the wall plugs, screw in the two screws and voila!
I have the lights set to mode 3 so that they only come on when they sense movement and they are very good. The lights come on when someone is about 15 feet or so away and stay on for a short time after, which is just what I wanted.
The enclosures are IP65 rated so they should be able to stand up to rain and bad weather and the batteries seem to hold a good charge (enough to last through the night). I don’t know how well they will perform in the winter with less sunlight, I will have to wait and see but they face towards the south so they should have the best advantage for charging.
At only thirty quid for six lights they have to be a bargain, I have used four of the six so I have two spare if any fail and that would still be good value. I am pleased with the PEASUR outdoor solar security lights and I am happy to recommend them.

I got these for my mother who wanted to have some illumination in her garden. She’d seen mine but the ones I use are no longer on sale. I got her these expecting them to be similar but they’re actually better than I’d expected.

Mine have half the amount of LEDs but are the same size. Not sure how they’ve packed more in but it definitely makes the difference.

They’re very simple to fit. One screw hole at the top middle and away you go. On the rear you can select three modes.

You have sensor low, sensor bright or permanently on. She’s got hers set to come on at dusk and go off once drained.

They’re actually now lasting until dawn as the weather is changing.

Will come back to report if any fail along the line but she’s very happy with them and the light they give. She has them around 2.5m apart.

Also they’re not directly in sun all day but are charging well.

At 30.59 for 6 at time of writing these are really good value, and very handy for areas it would be difficult or costly to install lights. Rather than fumbling around in the dark, these lights have been brilliant and I’ve installed (put 2 screws in each) 3 on one side of the house. The other 3 are going on the opposite side.

I’ve had no issues with the solar technology and these are ready to rock come nightfall. I can’t say exactly how long they work for but at least 6 hours by my reckoning. I use them on Mode 1. IP65 rated, easy installation, they do the job just fine and look the part.

For the price these are really good

This set of bright LED solar garden/wall lights are, I am happy to report, really rather good. They come supplied as a 6 pack and at time of review are priced at 34.99 for the set making them an affordable option and therefore, in my humble opinion, a good investment for your hard earned cash.

The lights come equipped with high efficiency LED lighting panels that cast a surprisingly decent amount of light out for their relatively small size. Each light has a triangular type design whereby the rear of the unit will sit flush to a wall whilst the two other sides jut out at opposing angles. The upper segment is slightly angled upwards in order to soak up the maximum amount of light during the day whilst the lower half of the light is angled downward to cast that stored energy back out again as light in the evening and at night. It’s a simple, tried and tested design that works and works well.

I have personally installed my lighting on the exterior of my house down a side alley and at the rear of my property. I am lucky enough to live in a semi detached and that both the rear of the house and alleyway are exposed to the sun for pretty much most of the day. It means these bad boys get loads of light exposure and therefore work very well indeed. You can install your lights pretty much anywhere you like, as long as you have both a flat surface to attach them to and they are positioned in such a way as to ensure they see a fair amount of sunlight to be able to adequately charge them. Ideally you would want them fully exposed for as long as possible for them to be able to operate at their peak performance.

Each light appears to be very well put together and have been clearly constructed using good quality ABS plastics. They feel highly durable, super robust and hard wearing, and I have a huge amount of confidence they will last for some significant time given they are meant to be left outside and exposed to the elements all year around. They have been rated IP65 waterproof and after a good heavy downpour recently I am pleased to say I couldn’t find any leaks, issues or any negative points otherwise.

The lights each contain an in-built 1800 mAh lithium rechargeable battery and the solar panel that charges these power cells runs practicality the whole length and breadth of the upper third section of the lamp. They will literally run all night long without dropping out the power. You do have a couple of different operating modes to choose from too which include an automatic on/off option, a dim light mode and a motion sensitive only mode.

The first auto mode is my personal preference here as the light will come on as soon as it gets to dusk and then power back off again at first light. For my install this works perfectly as it illuminates my alley for the whole duration of the evening, throughout the night and only powers off again at first light. The dim light mode operates in a similar fashion to the above however the lamp will only illuminate at half brightness. However, when motion is detected it switches itself to full power and lights up everything in its radius. Speaking of which, this light casts out its light in a 270 degree arc. In this dim light mode the brighter light lasts for only for approximately 20 seconds or so before it dims back down again. That’s assuming of course that no further motion is detected. The third mode of operation is purely as a motion detector. The lights stay powered off at all time unless something, or somebody, passes the detector panels field of view at which point the light will come on at full intensity for around 20 seconds. Each mode has its own merits so it’s down to you how you wish to use yours.

The motion sensors inside these beauties seem to be pretty good and reactionary and have roughly somewhere around a 120 degree field of view. They also pick up movement up to about 15 feet away maximum from my testing. Bear that in mind when installing yours to ensure you are covering the right space, particularly if you plan on using these predominantly as motion detector lights. The lights pump out a fairly respectable 1000 lumens each. Not the brightest available from the marketplace but decent enough when they are located within close proximity to each other. If you intend to spread the installation over a wider area I would advise to look for similar products with a higher lumen output.

Overall these are very well made indeed and I feel they represent superb value for your money. I will in all honesty most likely purchase another set for the rear garden patio area. I genuinely like these and can’t find fault with them in anyway. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this set at all and I would be more than happy to recommend this product to anyone. A good product at a good price.

Oh, how I wish that solar lights like these had been available thirty years ago. I well remember drilling a hole through a wall with an enormous bit (which I had to buy for the purpose and never used again, of course), then connect to the mains, permanently. What a faff! These days we have this fabulous alternative. Sun comes up, light gets charged… job done! Love LEDs.
Installation is a breeze. These lights are extremely light, therefore only a relatively shallow couple of screw holes have to be drilled. Obviously you have to situate the light where it will get the maximum amount of, er, light and putting in on a North facing wall may not provide sufficient energy. However, it’s worth experimenting as, of course, you only really need it to provide light in short burst, when it detects movement. Which works very well, by the way.
Don’t place it too close to the eaves. The wedge shape means that the solar panels could be shaded.
All in all a really good alternative to mains powered (or even re-chargeable battery) security lights.

These lights are ideal for us. We have them set on the sensor mode and have them around our back garden as a little bit extra security and also if we are out when it’s dark. The motion sensor is excellent and it picks up movement really easily. We have been impressed but even this time of year that they do not seem to run out of charge. That might be more of an issue if you have them on continuously but certainly on sensor mode it’s not an issue and they are nice and bright. You get screws and plugs to fit them with all because we were fitting them into wood such as fences and sheds it meant that we didn’t have to use the plugs and the screws was more than adequate. Overall I am really impressed and they do a perfect job for our needs.

A little smaller than anticipated but that’s purely down to me! However, these lights are really good. To be honest I couldn’t believe how bright they were. Also impressed with the motion detection. I bought them to light up the bottom area of the garden which is very dark. They are just the job. I can’t comment on being weatherproof as the weather has been fine since putting them up

Even though they’re pretty small (a contact patch not that much different to Post-It note), one of these is enough to light up my terraced house back garden. It’s fair to say they don’t have the reach of a halogen light, but just one is enough to see what I’m doing at night and as you get six in a pack it’s easy enough to put a second one up at the other end. Plus being solar power you have to mess about with wires and the motion sensor doesn’t trigger at the slightest thing — which it’s not going on and off all night.

These solar lights were smaller than expected, but they’ve proven to be excellent.

They take 8 hours to fully charge by sunlight but last a long time.
There are 3 settings available, constantly on at medium level, motion detect at low level light and motion detect at high level light. All changeable with the press of a button.

They come in a box of 6 with fittings but I haven’t used these as they’re not the best quality.

So far I’ve used one above my garage door and 2 in my garage gym area.
The ones in the gym are under a clear section of roof but still charge successfully.
They give off plenty of illumination for my needs and the battery lasts a good length of time.
This is impressive considering how small these lights are!
    Very impressed.

At just over 30 I think they offer very good value for money.

I hope you find my review helpful.

    Very compact but very effective!

These solar panel lights are good at what they do. With 178 LED lights on each light. These lights will illuminate the area it is in without any problem. I don’t understand the science but even in this gloomy weather, the solar panel can absorb enough light to emit during the night. Being IP65 is an essential bonus.
Good value lights that work blooming well.

These lights are perfect – no need to wire in as they are solar powered.

Very bright lights – they really do illuminate my pathway.

The motion detection is great – especially if you come home in the dark.

Even on dull days they seem to be able to charge enough to work overnight.

Easy to attach to the wall.

    Inexpensive – 35.99 for a set of 6 lights.

I have no hesitation in recommending.

These are excellent garden fence lights or you could fix them to a wall, shed, gate , they are extremely versatile, you can even use them as security motion lights.

The 3 modes are very easy to set by the button at the front of the light , so there is nothing complicated at all about these lights.

You even get the screws and plugs to fix them to a wall or fence.

They are solar powered so no need for batteries, they will come on at night after absorbing the sun’s rays.

They look really stylish, they are rugged abd robust with a solar panel on the top and 120 light to set a really nice glow to your garden , or use as a motion sensor light.

They are very easy to fix via the holes in the lights, just screw them straight onto wooden surfaces with ease , they look great in a row on a garden fence.

We use them to light up the dark corner of our garden near the garden bins , they add much needed light in that corner if we need to put stuff in the bin at night , they also add that bit of extra security to our garden.

They are solid and very well made , weather proof lights , easy to use and give off decent light.

They seem a tad expensive at 35 if they were a tad cheaper they would be perfect, but I’m very pleased with these lights.

6 lights arrived well packed in the box with all the mounting for each lamp. They seem to be of good quality as they feel quite solid in hand. Out of 6 lamps one is a bit untidy with hardened glue coming from the edge. But lets be honest- its not affecting the use and it can’t be seen as it is top part where solar mini panels are. Led lights are on the front and sides of the lamp. They are nice and bright. There is motion sensor and dim button. I cant wait to put them up on my fence, which is currently being painted. Will add pictures of the effect soon.

These are multi LED six cool white solar lights included with fittings and manual in the package. Many small LED’s are placed on three sides of the light. Each light has a motion sensor and switch to power on and off these light.

It quickly detects the motion and are turned on. The motion sensor works from evening to early morning. The battery lasts for longer time as it’s on only when it’s required saving some battery life.

The installation is easy as these are wireless. Each solar light needs two screws which I felt is unnecessary as these are small light weight lights. Only one screw in the middle world have been enough to hang these. Although I think the model that I got is an old one as the manual shows the lights with only one hanging screw. The screw quality is also average where the screw heads quickly get damaged.

The service and support is fast. I was quickly sent a new package when one light received in the package was faulty.

The weatherproof lights are excellent for outdoor garden area where you need.

Works great, easy to install them.
    Excellent, long battery life.

Price is also great for the set of 6.

These are so easy to use. Simply screw them into position (screws and rawlplugs are supplied for each light) and then turn them on. I have mine screwed to the tops of the fance panels in the garden. They switch on themselves as soon as the light levels drop and stay lit throughout the night so really pleased with them. They do also boast different settings, where they will remain off until motion is sensed and then they come on automatically. You can also have them lit dimmly and them come on full power once motion is sensed. For the money I’m very happy.

You will quickly find the same set of solar lights being sold across the market, these prove no different but working in a more compact size. I cannot complain as I’ve rarely found issues with these motion sensors, being bright, weatherproof and sensitive to motion.

These lights, in particular, have a large body of LED lights, making these ‘security’ by their high brightness. Simply mount wherever with two screws and they’re ready to charge in the sunlight. It is worth emphasising these are outdoor lights, depending on sunlight, so do not work indoors (as I’ve tried before with these lights). They all work with a passive infrared motion sensor (the white ball) which promises up to 5-metre detection.

The light is bright and sensitive, perfect to light up corners or dark spots around the house. I found the motion sensor almost rarely fails. My previous set has lasted me many months, enduring rain and cold, these should do the same. As these are based on PIR sensors, they do light at any motion- human or not so can be a little irritating during windy weather. The light can be turned off completely by the press of the button whenever needed.

In short, these are a great value bundle set of bright, outdoor motion lights. They shine bright in their compact size and maintain sensitivity to all moving motion.

Spring is coming soon and I was already cleaning up the mess of fallen leaves and twiggs from long winter and autumn. I am a garden person and live outdoors and I have bought many LED lights before but after 5 years they all are dead so I was waiting for days to get brighter to start replacing them but I saw these on Vine and I could wait.

This is pack of 6 light units each consisting of 178 LED beads lighting front and sides of the unit with 1800mAh rechargeable battery. It takes 8 to 10 hours of solar power to fully charge the battery and it lasts the whole night on a low level brightness. See the pics I uploaded and even low level brightness is better than what I had before.

There are 3 modes one full bright constant light, 2nd low level constant light and 3rd is sensor detection light that makes the unit light up when it picks up movement near by.

Light units are very well made and are fully water and weather proof as they are outdoor lights.

I am very impressed with them and would definitely buy more.

I love these Solar LED light in pack of six for outdoor.

…perfect for pathways in the dark.

This set of 6 small motion detector lights, that are solar powered and weatherproof, are the best idea for a path into a garden (like ours) or even to light up the front of the house for security purposes.

The lights are well made, nice and bright – so long as they get plenty of sun during the day – and extremely good value for money.

I have been using this type of light in the garden for years and these more recents ones, have never let me down. Thoroughly recommended.

Six smaller sized plastic solar wall lights, with side lights, which gives a wider angle of illumination. They come with all the fixtures and fittings needed, and it’s just a matter of drilling the holes in the walls or wood panels and then screw them to the wall, shed or fence panel.
The lights are made from a very lightweight plastic and come switched off, there is an on/off switch on the front, so switch on when you get them. It’s a good idea to give them two days in direct sunlight, to get them fully charged before mounting them.
Pressing the on/off switch will select 3 modes, plus off. Mode 1- the light is always on, the light will come on at night and stay on for as long as the battery holds out, with or without movement detected. Mode 2- the light comes on dim at night, and gets brighter for 15 seconds when it detects movement. Mode 3- the light turns on at night brightly, when it detects movement.
Before selecting a location, obviously you need to make sure the place you want to locate them, gets the maximum amount of sunlight, to recharge the batteries. They have dusk till dawn sensors in them, so will only come on at night, So make sure you position them away from other lighting, otherwise they may not come on at night, if the photo sensor picks up a stray light.
Now of course, during the winter months, it might not be possible to get sufficient sunlight to recharge the batteries, due to the lack of sun, so you may not get enough charge to light them for the whole night.
Suitable to light up a side of a house, around a gazebo, shed, steps, fence etc.
They state they are waterproof, I’ll report back if I find otherwise.
At the moment I’m happy with them and would recommend.

I am very pleased with these little lights. I’ve looked at getting a set of these for a while and finally decided to give them a go. For starters they are much smaller than I expected. I assumed they would be bigger. However they don’t need to be. They produce a lot of light and work perfectly as a motion triggered light for dark corners and alleyways. Especially places without electricity. I have one setup around the side of my house where I keep the bins. My big outside lights don’t reach that part so I used to take a torch when taking rubbish out at night. Not anymore! One is enough to light that area. As the light comes from the front and sides, it actually covers a lot of ground. I have plans for the others now that I’ve seen how good they are. I’m really pleased.

There are a few points worth noting just to help calibrate people’s expectations. One is that while they can be set to be on constantly when it’s dark, the light isn’t the most pleasant. It’s quite harsh. As a result you wouldn’t want to use these as your only garden lighting. You’ll want something softer and warmer looking. It’s also worth noting that the motion sensor and night sensor are not adjustable in any way. You’re stuck with how it comes. It’s fine for me but it is something one might expect to be able to adjust. And finally, they are solar powered. Great for dark places but only dark places that are very sunny places during the day. There is a balance that must be found between how much sun they get and how frequently they will be on at night.

In summary, I think they are best used in places that need light occasionally each night. Places that it isn’t convenient to put a mains powered light. They are really impressive in that use case. I don’t think they are appropriate to light your garden for night time gatherings with friends and family.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe got this six-pack of solar-powered lights for the front and side of our house, mainly for security, but also for our front porch, these are all LED, so are very bright and they are easy to install as well.

So each light is 4 inches long and 3 inches wide, with led lights at the front and on the sides as well, at the front, you get the on/off button and also the sensor as well. There are three modes, so if you press the on button once, the light will stay on all night fairly brightly, if you press it twice, you get a dimmer light all night, but with the sensor also on, so if there is movement it will go to full brightness, if you press it a third time you have the sensor function, which will go on full brightness if there is movement, we have used this function on all the lights.

We tested the motion sensor, it says it will detect around 3 to 5 metres and in fact, it does around 3 metres, so a great feature. We have put two lights on our porch and when it gets dark the light will come on with the sensor and as it goes to full brightness, it is excellent, the light stays on as long there is movement, for the fitting, you simply drill two holes, the screws and raw plugs are in the packet for each light.

Once fully charged the lights should work all night, it says up to 8 hours for mode 1, but we have not tested the continuous mode 1 setting, which is pressing once the on button, but it should work for several hours, we tested our sensor light and it goes off and on and has worked whenever we have tried it out.

The only frustrating feature is changing the setting, if you put the lights too high, it will mean climbing up a ladder and pressing the on button, so possibly a little remote would be a good thing, otherwise, these are nice lights, great value for money and good for outdoor lighting without the addition of running up more high electric bills, certainly now we don’t need this with the ridiculous price of electric.

I have given these lights four stars, as the one thing which does concern me is longevity, they feel a bit plasticky and cheap, so as far as waterproofing is concerned, I am not sure how long this will last in our British weather, otherwise definitely worth buying.
