Use in camper you can control watt so not to drain batteries which are working off solar when not hooked up. Heats really quick, when hooked up ideal for cooking stews etc
Brought this to take camping and loved using it. Super easy to set up and clean. Made cooking whilst camping so much easier. The fan is a bit noisy when it’s on, but it didn’t bother us or our fellow campers
I use vthe unit for nearly everything definitely everyday
And more effective for using energy more efficiently

Really pleased with our first induction hob.
Fast and easy to use and clean. Hardly use the gas top on the cooker since its arrival.
Got some new non stick pans to go with it and they clean easily too.
I am having my kitchen redone and we’re without my induction hob for about 10 days
This single hob has been a lifesaver, enabling me to cook pasta, rice etc. We are not fans of takeaway food so this helped amazingly and I will still find a use for it even when my kitchen is finished.
And last but not least it is easy to operate, can be used outdoors and came at a really good price

I bought this for use in the motorhome when on hookup, to avoid using calor gas which is in short supply. Works a treat. I also have a standalone battery I use in the motorhome, and because the temperature setting is shown as power usage in steps of 200 watts, it means I can increase the temperature up to the maximum output rating of my battery, which is about 1200w. That’s only about half the power of this unit, but it’s enough to boil the kettle or perculate my coffee (it just takes a bit more time).

This portable electric hob is a useful alternative to my gas hob. It works well for a range of different types of cooking providing you have induction compatible pans. The timer is brilliant. It means no more burnt pans if you forget you’ve left something cooking.
There was a problem with the original unit supplied, but The Electrical Shop sent me a replacement which I am really pleased with so I give them a 5-star rating.
Great value and identical in looks and performance to another model that costs 25 more. A bit of a no brainer, buy this one! I purchased and used the other one for over a year, till I dropped a tiny glass pepper pot on the surface and smashed the glass top. This is a replacement.
Bought this for use in the caravan when on electric hook up and it is very quick to heat up
