Our old divan bed finally gave way, at the worst time possible, just after our holiday when funds were on the low side. Fortunately our mattress was fairly new. so we didn’t need to replace that. We ordered this and hoped it would be sturdy as both of us are heavy. Well, it came within two days and my husband put it together in an hour on his own with no problems. It is sturdy and comfortable. We would have preferred to have a divan bed with drawers but realise now that this is much better, as it is high off the floor and we have purchased some under bed storage boxes and that has done the trick, and all for under 80, so we are very happy. Another reviewer said the bed creaked but I have to say ours is fine and feels very sturdy. I doubt it will last 30 years like our old divan but nothing lasts that long these days.
Had my doubts about the strength of this bed frame, but needn’t have worried as once assembled, it was as solid as a rock.
It’s very high off the floor, so you just kind of slide out of it in the morning. Loads of storage room underneath. It was the icing on my newly decorated bedroom cake! Delivery arrived bang on time and no extra charged for Saturday delivery. You can’t beat buying from Amazon.
