I needed to get Apple Airplay on my 2011 Benz E Class. I got a different device before which absolutely crap. I had to take time to research and read up about Carpuride device. I took the risk to buy it and it exceeded my expectation.
Key things to note;
1. The screen touch is great
2. The wireless Apple Airplay works very well and reconnects to my iPhone when I get back into the car.
3. The Apple Airplay also automatically switches to the Map application and continues my journey.
4. The screen size was good fit for my E class old dashboard screen space.

This has added Car Play to my 2015 Hyundai. It works exactly as it should. The mount is effective, but could be improved by using a Magnetic attachment. Il prodotto fa quello che promette con qualche piccolo compromesso in termini di software, in compenso l’assistenza davvero veloce e disponibile.
Prodotto di buona fattura, facile da configurare. Si collega wifi al telefono oppure via cavo. Il supporto con adesivo dura poco, non ha molta adesione. La ventosa invece fin troppa, ed piuttosto stabile.

Poi su consiglio di un amico, ho voluto provare questo aggeggino. Beh, sono senza parole. Installazione in meno di 2 minuti, una volta collegato, abbinato il CarPlay il gioco fatto. Veloce, precisa, bella da vedere. Ho acquisto il modello con il wireless, perci appena salgo in auto, il tempo di qualche secondo e il telefono gi collegato con Apple CarPlay. Geliefert wird das WP701 selbst, zwei verschiedene Halterungen und alle bentigten Kabel. Jeder der ein Handy bedienen kann, wird sofort mit dem Gert klarkommen. Im Auslieferungszustand ist als Sprache Englisch eingestellt, diese lsst sich aber auch zu Deutsch ndern.
Das Gert ist hervorragend verarbeitet. Es gibt keinerlei unsauber gearbeiteten Kanten oder Klebestellen. Dies trifft auch auf die Halterungen zu. Durch den Klavierlack sieht das Gert zudem hochwertig aus. Lediglich der Carpuride-Schriftzug auf der Vorderseite strt mich ein wenig. Gerte mancher anderer Hersteller verzichten darauf.
Das Display an sich ist mit einer Auflsung von 1024 x 600 Pixeln ausreichend scharf. Helligkeit und Kontrast sind ebenfalls gut. Toll wre ein Lichtsensor, welcher die Displayhelligkeit automatisch an die Umgebung anpasst (zum Beispiel im Tunnel oder nachts). Auch handelt sich um ein spiegelndes Display. Hier wrde ich mir ein entspiegeltes wnschen. Ich habe zwei eine entsprechende Folie (auf dem Foto noch testweise) angebracht. Damit hat man keine Spiegelungen mehr, allerdings ist das Bild minimal unschrfer und die Helligkeit drfte so hher sein.
Im ersten Schritt muss dann eine Bluetooth-Verbindung zum Smartphone hergestellt werden, was in allen Fllen schnell und reibungslos geklappt hat. Die jeweilige Einrichtung von, in meinem Fall Android Auto, startet dann auf dem Smartphone selbststndig. Die Verbindung ist kabellos mglich und auch stabil. Ich hatte bisher keinerlei Abbrche.
Um das WP701 mit dem Fahrzeug zu verbinden, gibt es zwei Mglichkeiten. Einmal per FM-Transmitter und entsprechend eingestelltem Radio. Hier hat man allerdings nur Mono. Die bessere Alternative ist per Aux-Kabel. Hier hat man Stereo und die Musikqualitt ist definitiv besser.
Wer mchte kann sogar ein eigenes Bild beim Gertestart anzeigen lassen. Hierfr muss man dieses allerdings an den Support schicken. Daraufhin erhlt man eine Datei, welche per USB-Stick eingespielt werden kann. Dies hat bei mir am Anfang nie funktioniert. Erst als ich ein USB-Stick einer anderen Marke probiert hat, ging es auf Anhieb.
Was man jedoch auf keinen Fall machen sollte, ist das Firmware-Update einspielen. Dieses verschlimmbessert Android Auto in der Form, dass hier nun ein schwebender Button eingeblendet wird, mit welchem man die Lautstrke des Gertes einstellt. Leider erscheint dieser bei jeder Berhrung des Touchscreens und sitzt dann teilweise ber den Steuerelementen. Man kann diesen zwar verschieben, aber diese Position wird nicht gespeichert.
Der Support ist aber sehr freundlich und versucht alle Probleme zu lsen. Meist erhlt man in 2-3 Tagen eine Antwort.
Selbst der Google Assistant funktioniert per Sprachsteuerung einwandfrei. Auch Freisprechen ist in den meisten Situationen gut. Fr mich mehr als ausreichend.
Fr mich eine gute Anschaffung, da mein Fahrzeug kein Android Auto kann und auch das Navi unbrauchbar ist. Opel schafft es hier nmlich, seit 8 Jahren nur 1 (!!!) Kartenupdate zu liefern. Das aktuelle Kartenmaterial ist von 2018. Mit dem WP701 kann ich nun mein Smartphone im Auto nutzen, habe einen groen Bildschirm und die Kabel konnte ich gut verlegen.
Abstrze oder Hnger hatte ich bisher nicht, auch hat das Gert immer schnell reagiert.
249,99 (Stand 18.08.2022) sind zwar ein stolzer Preis, aber ich finde es lohnt sich. Vor allem fr Fahrzeuge in die man keine DIN-Radios einbauen kann. Aufgrund der oben genannten “Mngel” vergebe ich und eine Empfehlung.
I ordered this device to add modern functionality to a car that was only equipped with a 3.5 mm AUX in port to the car stereo. This has been a good choice. The unit worked well and the Included accessories are comprehensive, including a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm audio cable and a 12 V ‘cigarette lighter’ type power adapter. A metal mount (round disk with adhesive sticker on one side) is supplied for fitting to the dashboard. It is great for device security on the dashboard – an adjustable mount is then placed on top which is adjustable in height and reach in a forward direction. The mount adheres well to the metal disk.
I found that this was easy to connect via Car Play. This creates a Wi-Fi connection between the device and your phone rather than Bluetooth. This is a 5Ghz connection. The device can also be configured to use Bluetooth or a cable. Both iOS and Android phones are supported; I connected an iPhone. I found that this worked consistently and flawlessly for wireless transition. Music was streamed with no issue. I was also able to use certain apps that have CarPlay functionality added in. Of note, both Google and Apple Maps worked well, as did other music apps and Messenger. The device would prompt when a text message was receive and offer to read it. Furthermore, a press of a button and a reply could be dictated.
While certain apps can be started from the device; others need to be started from the phone. As mentioned, the most common apps can be started from this device, such as Google Maps, Apple Maps and Messenger. Qobuz and Apple Music also worked flawlessly. Other music apps that weren’t CarPlay native could be started on the iPhone. The unit would then allow you to restart the music that was last played even after power off.
Siri worked faultlessly to write and read both text and Messenger messages on this device and also to search for locations.
This device has more features than what I used. For example, I did not use the FM transmitter to send sound to the car radio. I did try both the USB and the inbuilt TF/microSD card slot to play music. This worked well for MP3s. What was pretty amazing is that this unit played high resolution audio FLAC files right off both the USB and TF/SDCard slots. Moreover, the load time was almost instantaneous. I was impressed!
I have used both Google Maps and Apple Maps for navigation with no issue. I also found that when using the device that I had generally no issues with readability – in exceptionally bright sunlight it was slightly more difficult to read the display, but generally a small movement of the device would fix this. The unit also automatically changes in response to ambient light with night mode (black/dark background) automatically enabled.
The unit can be used without connection to a car stereo, so in theory it could be used in environments other than a car (with a suitable power source). Indeed, I firstly tried out this device at my desk using an external power supply before installing it in my car.
I found the camera attachment the least impressive bit of the kit. The camera worked well and had provided a decent quality image. Furthermore, it also had an IR mode so that I could see the surroundings in the dark. However, I was only able to get a mirror image on the screen and found no way to change this. This is workable, but may not be for some. In my opinion, the camera lets the functionality of the unit down and I would recommend going for the device alone, unless you are really focussed on having a reversing camera (that is mirror imaged).
Overall, the screen is clear and bright, very readable and responsive too. The colours appear a little muted at times, but to have better colours would require the use of a more expensive display, increasing the cost of the unit. In practice, I have had no difficulty viewing the unit in the car, even on bright, sunny days, as noted above. Ignoring my misgivings about the camera, I consider overall this device is worthy of 5 stars.
This a low cost way of seriously upgrading the entertainment/comms system of a car to match modern expectations. I found that this device was just as good as the CarPlay built into a 2018 model car. It probably matches later implementations too and the system’s software is upgradeable, only I haven’t had access to a more modern car to compare the unit with.

Muy buena experiencia de este producto que te permite tener CarPlay en vehculos que no lo traen de fbrica. Dependiendo del modelo de vehculo puede costar un poco configurar correctamente la conexin de BT para que el audio salga por los altavoces del vehculo. Pero una vez hecho, funciona a la perfeccin! Lo peor: que no se pueda cargar desde un puerto USB (tiene que ser desde el cargador de 12v del coche) y que no lleve un anclaje para la salida de ventilacin (solo trae ventosa de cristal y de salpicadero, que no siempre pueden encajar con todos los vehculos)

Das Stromkabel lies sich sehr gut verbauen so das es nicht im Blick und im Weg ist.
Das Display hat eine gute, dem Preis entsprechende Empfindlichkeit da kapazitiv und lsst sich absolut zuverlssig bedienen. Die Helligkeit ist ok, knnte besser sein aber ist auf jedenfall ausreichend. Im Gegenlicht spiegelt es allerdings.
In unserem PKW hat berraschenderweise die FM Transmitter Methode sehr gut funktioniert. Viel hatte ich da nicht erwartet, aber es ist laut, halbwegs klarer Sound, nur bei Stille hrt man ein leises Rauschen.
Klangfetischisten mit teurer Anlage mgen das anders sehen, die bauen sich aber garantiert auch nicht dieses Teil in ihre Kiste. Ich habe die Frequenz 87.5 im PKW abgespeichert, so lsst sich bequem zwischen 5 Autoradio-Sender und dem 6. AndroidAuto/SD-Card des Carpuride per Knopfdruck wechseln. Perfekt!
Die kabellose Verbindung zu Android Auto funktioniert beim Starten der Zndung nun automatisch und zuverlssig, allerdings musste ich ein bisschen basteln und die Verbindung mehrfach wieder lschen. Folgt man aber exakt der Anleitung, dann funktioniert es.
Fazit tolles Ding fr alte Kisten, wrde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!

Sappiate che in tanti sicuramente non hanno capito ne a cosa serve questo prodotto ne tantomeno i sistemi per aggiornarlo e settarlo a dovere. Ci dovete perdere un oretta di tempo per capire tutte le varie funzioni, dopo di che vedrete che non avrete pi problemi. Perfetto anche per un auto. La render sicuramente molto pi al passo con i tempi.

Il WP701 funziona alla grande, lo uso con audio nell’AUX dell’autoradio, quindi si sente da dio. qualit del display ottima, dico davvero. E non credevo che CarPlay wireless andasse cos bene…in ogni caso anche wired va benissimo. Se dura una vera figata.

This is a great way to add CarPlay and Android Auto to a car where you can’t or would prefer not to change the head unit. A lot of modern cars don’t have a easily replaceable head unit or have the space for one with a screen so this is a brilliant way to get around that.
Setup wise, it was pretty straightforward, I plugged it in and chose the wireless CarPlay option and it was up and running in no time. I also love the fact you can use the screen mirror function to watch videos which you can’t do using CarPlay so having one that is able to do both is great.
It’s not all perfect, the screen isn’t super bright but it’s still good enough for me. There is also a bit more lag using this than I would have liked so that could do with improving. The screen is also quite glossy so it can show a lot of reflections, personally I would advise investing in a matt screen protector as that will massively help with that.
Je trouve beaucoup trop cher , j’ai des beugs avec les appels, le mode nuit ne fonctionne pas mme en changeant les paramtres.
Da ein Umbau des eingebauten Systems mit ca. 1000 unangemessen ist, entschied ich mich fr diese Lsung. Das erste Gert musste ich zurckschicken, da der interne Lautsprecher nicht funktionierte, Ersatz kam schnell. Das Gert ist fix in Betrieb genommen, alle Funktionen sind schnell eingerichtet. Ich kann es auf der Ablage mit angestecktem Arm (verhindert das Verrutschen) gut betreiben und dadurch auch mhelos mitnehmen. Die Audioverbindung luft ber eine UKW Frequenz oder ber Buetooth, wenn ich nur den internen Lautsprecher fr Telefonie oder Navigation benutze. Die Qualitt beim Telefonieren ist erstaunlich gut, voll aufdrehen darf man den internen Lautsprecher aber nicht, dafr ist er zu schwach. Das Touchpanel reagiert selbst mit der Folie sehr gut, die Darstellung empfinde ich als bersichtlich. Schade ist, das Apple Carplay nicht besonders viele Apps untersttzt, das kann man dem Gert nicht anlasten. Konnte es fr 210 erwerben, das geht in Ordnung, fr den Originalpreis htte ich es nicht gekauft.
Der CARPURIDE Wireless gefllt mir sehr gut. Die Kamera habe ich (noch) nicht installiert. Aber gut, dass es diese Mglichkeit gibt. Das Projekt werde ich mir fr den Sommer aufheben und dann aber eine andere Kamera (ein in die Kennzeichenleuchte integrierte) verwenden.
Zum CARPURIDE: Ich nutze ihn als Wireless Carplay Einheit fr mein iPhone. Die Einrichtung ist schnell und einfach gemacht. Ich habe das Gert ber die Frontscheibe befestigt, aber so, dass das Gert selber auf der Mittelkonsole ber den Lftungsgittern aufliegt. Eine hngende Befestigung ist nicht so ideal, dasdas Gert doch relativ schwer ist und dann – gerade bei schlechten Straen – stark schwingt (und dann ggf. whrend der Fahrt abfallen kann).
Sehr gut gefllt mir – im Vergleich zu anderen Gerten – der schnelle Systemstart und die blitzschnelle Wiederverbindung via Wireless Carplay zum gekoppelten iPhone. Andere Gerte brauchen hier nach dem Start des Autos schon mal 30 sec bis Carplay aktiv ist, der CARPURIDE schafft das in weniger als 10 Sekunden. Auch startet dann automatisch Carplay. bzw. die letzte aktive Funktion des Gerts (bei anderen getesteten Gerten landet man im Mainscreen und muss dann immer wieder Carplay anklicken).
Der FM-Transmitter ist sehr gut, man kann mehrere Frequenzen ber Buttons speichern, so dass man im Urlaub schnell die Frequenz wechseln kann. Auch der Klang des FM-Transmitters ist ausgezeichnet, nicht platt und dumpf wie bei vielen anderen FM-Transmittern.
Zu erwhnen ist auch der sehr gute Support des Herstellers: Er bietet einem sogar an, den “Boot Screen” zu individualisieren, in dem man hier eine eigene Grafik einbinden kann, die dann beim Einschalten statt des CARPURIDE Logos erscheint – z.B. das Markenzeichen des Autos. Dazu schickt man einfach das gewnschte Logo als Grafik an den Support und bekommt dann nach eine Datei samt Anleitung zugesendet, die man mittels USB-Stick auf das Gert aufspielt.
Erstmal die Ausgangssituation bei mir:
Ich fahre ein Mazda, leider ohne touchscreen, lediglich mit einfachem Bedienfeld in der Mittelkonsole. Habe bisher immer mein iPhone genommen und es beim Zigerettenfach halbwegs sicher hingelegt und mich darber ber Apple Karten navigieren lassen bsw ber aux Apple Music gehrt (laden war so nicht mglich, hatte zwar Adapter, aber dann mit beiden zusammen immer ein starkes Rauschen). Hat geklappt, aber war etwas klein und die Bedienung whrend Fahrt nicht mglich, auerdem da es beim Zigarettenfach lag, hat es auch sehr tief gelegen.
Dann kommt das Carpuride ins Spiel:
Soweit passt das sehr gut bei mir ins Auto. Es steht sicher und fest mit dem Standfu genau oben auf der Mittelkonsole.. Es fhren dann nur zwei Kabel rechts entlang fr Strom zum Zigarettenanznder und der andere zum aux. Habe die Variante mit WLAN gekauft. So spare ich mir ein Kabel am Gert selber, welches noch zum iPhone, oder anderem Handy fhrt. Laden kann ich mein iPhone trotzdem, da ich ein weiteres Kabel (von einem anderen besseren Steckplatz aus) versteckt liegen lassen kann. Die Verbindung ist super. Hatte bisher berhaupt keine Probleme. Mein iPhone wird sofort erkannt und die Bedienung ist klasse ber CarPlay. Navigation endlich im guten sichtbaren Bereich, Musik luft darber auch perfekt. Ich habe berhaupt keine Hnger, rauschen, oder Verzerrungen, etc. Telefonieren scheint bisher auch gut zu funktionieren. Habe noch kein schlechtes Feedback von den angerufen gehrt. Ansonsten bin ich sehr begeistert von carplay.
Weitere Details zum Gert:
Die restlichen Funktionen am Gert selbst nutze ich nicht. Mir ging es tatschlich nur um CarPlay. Musste lediglich am Anfang ein paar Einstellungen ndern, wie Lautstrke auf Max (Regel das nmlich so mit dem Autoradio), Helligkeit auf 6 und Nachtmodus auf 0.
Negatives/ Wnsche:
Was ich mir noch wnschen wrde wren Mglichkeiten das Betriebssystem zu updaten, falls es Verbesserungen fr das Carpuride geben sollte. Sowie am Gert der selbststndige Wechsel des Tag und Nachtmodus fr Helligkeit. Die Verarbeitung von dem Gert ist solide. Der Touchscreen reagiert recht gut.
Das, sowie der trotzdem recht hohe Preis, gibt es von mir am Ende 4 Sterne.

Inizialmente ho avuto problemi per far leggere la chiavetta USB 3.0 perch per essere letta ha bisogno di essere formattata in Fat32 cosa fattibile solo con pc windows. La formattazione ExFat che si fa con un Mac non compatibile.
Sia la chiavetta che la micro SD funzionano molto bene con musica, foto e video.
Una menzione particolare per i video che si vedono davvero benissimo e scorrono fluidi.
Io non avendo Bluetooth in auto usavo Alexa Echo auto.
Ero convinta di doverlo abbandonare ma con mia grande sorpresa perfettamente compatibile. Basta solo alimentare Echo Auto non occorre che sia attaccato il cavetto aux. Passando per il cellulare il segnale arriva a Carpuride senza nessun problema.
Devo ammettere che la cosa mi ha fatto immenso piacere. Mi sarebbe dispiaciuto abbandonare Echo auto perch molto comodo se si vogliono ascoltare canzoni non memorizzate, playlist di genere e per informazioni del momento.
Come Carplay lo trovo eccezionale. Io lo uso con iPhone 12 pro e va alla grande.
Poter usare il navigatore su un display pi grande una grande comodit.
La funzione telefono la trovo ottima, sia quando io devo chiamare sia quando mi chiamano.
Qualsiasi cosa si stia ascoltando si interrompe per annunciare la chiamata.

La lingua Italiana una volta impostata rimane fino a quando spengo l’auto. Quando riuso Carpuride mi torna l’Inglese.
Per finire vi dico che adoro questo prodotto.
Si installa senza essere professionisti. La stessa facilit di un navigatore esterno praticamente.
Ha un costo accessibile, ora speriamo solo sia duraturo.

We got this for our car and can honestly say it’s worth every penny in our eyes!
The unit is quite simple to work and had no connection issues at all and we all have iPhones in our household so it does work flawlessly with them.
Once you have connected your phone once via Bluetooth you do not need to keep reconnecting it as every time then when you get in your car it automatically connects and you don’t even need to have your phone out your pocket.
It picks up exactly where your music was last when you was in the car.
You can answer your calls via the unit and hear nice and clearly!
Also when you receive text messages you ask the device to read your messages and it will do out loud and if you have music playing it dims the music in the background so you are able to hear and tell the device what to reply and it will send the voice reply as a text message back and confirm to make sure you are happy with it then it will then go ahead and reply all handsfree.
It has a built in sat nav too that goes all off your mobile and you can simply put your destination in and it will guide you perfectly to where you are wanting to go! It truly has blown me away for sure!
It’s turned our car practically into a Tesla!
I also know there is a possible add on that you can purchase for this unit and it is a rear camera that goes on your back window im guessing that then comes up on the tablet and gives you parking rear image and parking guidelines but we will definitely be buying the add on sometime soon for sure for the full kit as we truly love this! I’d be lost without it now.

The Android car radio is well made.
Installation is easy enough.
Screen can be mounted on the windscreen or on the dashboard.

Calling via the hands-free system seems to work fine.
All in all – Installing the car radio is easy enough and there is no need to visit a specialist workshop, which saves money as well. It is really easy to use and follow, offering a lot of different features too.

Possibilit de rgl l’environnement sonore dans la voiture comme ont le dsir ( avant , arrire , gauche , droite ) qualiseur bien fourni ! L’cran est de trs bonne qualit le seul dommage pour moi il devrai tre plus grand pour le prix le minimum devrait tre 9 pouces et le top 10 pouces !!!

The device comes with two mounting options: an extendable suction mount or a fixed flat base mount.
First time connection is easy using Bluetooth. I did it just like any other Bluetooth devices, switch it on, search for device and click to connect, no issues there.
The device will automatically pair to your phone when powered up (ignition on) and switch to Carplay mode within a few seconds. There is no need to set it up every time you use it.
Operation of the touchscreen is generally smooth and responsive but a bit slower than tablets. All the usual Carplay compatible apps are there and function as they should.
There is a function to mirror your Iphone to the screen via Wi-fi connection on your Iphone. This will unlock all the functions on your phone using the device as a display. The resolution is not as great as an Iphone screen, and depending on which phone you are using, it may not be much bigger than your phone screen. When try to play videos from YouTube, the aspect ratio is not the same as YouTube so you either have a black frame around your video, or you could zoom in from your phone to fit the screen with part of the screen chopped off.
There is a built-it speaker, quality is not very good. But most users would plug this in with Aux-in, the sound quality there is fine.
There is only one power cable included with 12V cigarette plug, no USB power cable or rechargeable battery in the device. I feel this is a bit old fashion. For the price of this device, they should at least add a hardwiring kit to it as an option.
The model I ordered also come with a backup camera. It comes with a long cable, long enough for transit vans, with an open end wire to tap onto the reverse light wire, such that when your car is put in reverse it will automatically show live stream of the camera on screen.
This device is great for upgrading older cars that do not have Apple Carplay. It works well just like manufacturer’s factory enabled Carplay. However, the device does look old for the price (288 at the time of review), lacking surprises and the latest technologies.
Would I recommend it? – Yes, if you found the price is right for you.

Die mitgelieferte Rckfahrkamera ist mit zu gross – werde andere einsetzen.
Was etwas strt: Man darf das iPhone erst verbinden nachdem das Gert hochgefahren ist. Macht man das vorher, startet CarPlay nicht. Ob das an dem Gert oder an iOS liegt kann ich nicht prfen.

Wenn das Gert eingeschaltet ist, bricht der DAB bei mir fast komplett zusammen – auch bei ausgeschalteter FM bertragung. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass das Gert eine echte CE Kennzeichnung hat.

Selbst die Bluetoothverbindung zwischen Radio und iPhone wird massiv gestrt, wenn das Gert eingeschaltet ist. Hab jetzt verschiedene Massnahmen ergriffen (andere Kabel, Ferritring um Einspeisung). Hilft alles nicht.

This is a decent device for anyone who hasn’t got an inbuilt system in their car. It works well, connects to the phone wirelessly (you need to select the correct option with that feature).
The touchscreen is receptive and audio control works well.
The issue I have is if it’s plugged in but you’ve not connected to you phone it will attempt to connect to any passing Bluetooth device, which becomes rather annoying. So you need to disconnect it if you’re not using it.
When you reconnect your phone, you need to go through the connection routine again.
I like the functionality of it, it’s definitely easier to use as ca navigation system than using my phone screen.
So far, I’ve had no issue with sound.
Overall, a decent accessory if your car doesn’t have an inbuilt system but I do think it’sa little expensive.
Takes about 9 sec from cold power off to boot to its OS and then maybe 15sec total to connect via wireless android auto (if you paid the extra for the wireless functionality).
Unit does play video, audio and pictures from an sd card slot.
Auto link is terrible but is a form of wired only screen casting from your phone.
The unit only has a low signal level audio output, so is no use to drive headphones from without an amplifier. You also have to manually disable the internal speaker in options if you dont want it to sound. There is no mic input connector which is disappointing for my purposes.
I tried to connect a bluetooth headset (mic + speakers) to the device and while it did show in the list and show A2DP and HFP protocols it didn’t seem to add correctly and certainly didnt use it as an audio input or output.
If it did work with bluetooth headsets then with a waterproof case around the unit it could have been used on a motorcycle, however as it stands now I am going to have to strip the unit and add my own stereo headphone amp, mic input and custom waterproof case to be able to use it on my motorcycle which is a shame as if it worked with a bluetooth headset then it would pretty much be ready to go.
The unit doesn’t do much more than the basic Iplay Android auto airplay and autolink features which is strange for a unit priced this high.
There are very little settings in the settings menu and you cant change the startup splash screen unless you can dump the firmware from the wson-8 packaged flash IC onboard.
Overall for car use it is perfect though, either connect via AUX, FM transmitter or use the internal speaker (not sure about Bluetooth audio, I couldn’t get that working).
For motorcycle use probably don’t bother and just get a phone mount for your bike instead, perhaps one day there may be a firmware update or different product that fits these needs.
ot very audio electrical minded person, this was installed so very easy and integrated into my car very easy and was up and running in under an hour also with the reversing camera installed following the instructions, good sound quality and good interaction with the phone and satnav, only thing is the price is quite steep for an extra bit of kit.

This is a nice well made product and perfect for anyone looking to add car play functionality to their car. I found it easy to install and setup. It so far has worked seamlessly. I personally love it as it add a hell of a lot of feature to my 20 year old car.

This is about as easy as it gets to instal you simply select the mount you want to use ie dash mount or windscreen mount and the power is supplied from a 12v cig lighter socket, it starts up much quicker than my older unit and feels much snappier in the menus too so they have not skipped on the hardware here, menus are all easy to use and as listed this does both carplay and android auto wirelessly so no more having to run cables to my glovebox, worth the price for that alone but navigation also works great as does the mirror mode to mirror my phone, it is, in my opinion, a much easier way to get these features and as an added security bonus I can take this out of the car at night too.
All in all, a really good system and I love it.
This is an amazing product! Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, can charge your phone or other devices through USB and it can fit any type of vehicle that has a cigarette lighter socket!
The touchscreen is fast and responsive, using the CARPURIDE it’s easy, but if you encounter any issue simply check the instructions. The menu is simple and intuitive, and once you’ve connected your phone it becomes even easier! Simply setup your route on your favourite sat nav on your phone, choose what music to listen, and enjoy the power and apps of your phone from a big screen that you can position anywhere you want in the vehicle!
What’s even better of this product is that you can move it to different cars without problems, simply move the unit with you and you can use it anywhere else!

This is the best, just what I needed to get CarPlay in my car to link my phone. It was so easy to set up and really easy to install on the car. Love the touch screen. The suction power was amazing I was having a hard time trying to get it off. The only down side is the cables, it has a lot of cables one being the power then the other is the aux so they can get in the way a little. But apart from that it’s an amazing product. Definitely recommend
The following is a review of the CARPURIDE brand Car Audio Receiver, Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto Car Stereo. It comes in a box with the leads and assorted brackets to suit most vehicles plus an instruction booklet. It has a nicely sized, thin 7” touch screen that includes a multimedia player, with Bluetooth 5.0 audio hands free calling, mirror link – GPS – Siri — Google options with the important or relevant shots and sockets are on one side of the unit – see photos. The screen resolution does look good, nice and bold, but during sunlight or when during at a certain angle, and based where the screen is positioned, it can come over as being a bit opaque or milky looking as you end up trying to angle it better to avoid it. The touch screen is very good and responds quite well, no issues there and the audio quality is surprisingly very good. Setting it up is reasonably quite straight forward enough and takes a few minutes but a good read through of the instructions beforehand is really recommended. However its quite amazing in only a few seconds from switching on from square one that your phone is recognized then featured on the screen – spooky in a nice sort of way. With the supplied attachments for mounting to just about any vehicle, it offers good value considering what it does as its only the size of a decent sat-nav unit but there it differs as this offers so, so much more – including maps of course – with features and options, you may wonder how you coped before. The only niggle I have is its yet another device that needs to be hidden or removed at times as no way would I consider leaving it left in plain view as its just asking for some low life to come and remove it sadly although I currently camouflage it with a cleaning cloth over it, once removed from it’s windscreen location and lies in the shelf beneath the dashboard.
The product comes well packaged with all the necessary parts required to use it. The mount for the car was very easy to install and sticks well to the dashboard.
Their are many preinstalled apps that are simple to use however I mainly use CarPlay which my iPhone connected to effortlessly over bluetooth with great stability. The touch screen is responsive and easy to quickly tap while driving. It also has a speaker which means you can ask Siri to do most things, the mic does work but sometimes you have to try multiple times in order for it to understand what you say.
The devices speakers are loud enough that you can use them for listening to directions from the Sat Nav and can clearly understand voices. You can use them for listening to music however I would recommend plugging it into your cars speakers via an aux cable as the included speakers lack depth in my opinion.
I have not been able to use the reversing camera as the included instructions, although very detailed on the multimedia capabilities, lack enough information on how to install the camera which means I either am going to have to learn how to install one or pay for a professional to install it for me which isn’t something I would want to spend extra money on considering the price of this.
I understand that all reversing cameras may have to be installed the same way but most other devices are cheaper to start with however I’m not sure they will have as many multimedia features.
Overall, I would highly recommend this as an infotainment display to use in your car and it is a nice bonus to have the reversing camera option if you know someone who can install it.
This is a very convenient receiver for GPS navigation and making or receiving phone calls using voice control via Siri with the wireless Carplay feature. The 7″ HD screen is clear and the menu system is easy to navigate through the various settings with touch screen control.
I found the included mounting options to be somewhat obtrusive and quite unsightly. The suction cup that attaches to the window is also very difficult to remove once attached. I would have preferred the option to mount the receiver on the air vents of the car with a smaller clip-on mounting device instead of the included suction cup and stick-on bracket.
The built-in speaker is loud and clear, and can also be turned off in the menu settings if routing audio through an auxiliary or wireless connection to the car speakers.
The included instruction manual is clear and concise, and with colour illustrations, makes setting up the many options for configuration for this receiver easy.
I’ve always wanted a car with a multimedia screen but they cost a significant amount more. I ended up getting a little 2009 Ford Fiesta at a good price but it was obviously missing the one thing I really wanted in a car. Though this is quite expensive alone (but cheaper than others you’ll find on the market), it does all you need it to do and more. The ability to adjust everything to your liking is an advantage and it fills in a lot of the technological gaps you might have with a cheaper/older car!
It has a camera that you can attach to the tablet and all the wires you need to set it up. The tablet is pretty seamless, clear and works great. It connects to everything you need it to and although setting it all up took quite a while and the help of another person who isn’t so helpless with wires, once it was up and working, it was worth the effort. Fits nicely on the dash and seems to so far be pretty stable. Using Waze on this instead of my little phone screen has been a dream! Great addition to any car that doesn’t already have a good screen installed.
Great bit of kit that comes with a choice of mounts allowing you to decide where you would like to place this device, you can either use 1 mount to attach your dashboard or instead the alternative mount to secure it to your windscreen.
It has a good sized screen with a clear, crisp picture which is very easy to connect to your phone & instantly play your music, receive & make hands free calls or access your messages plus many more features through your phone via this device.
There are quite a few cables supplied & the instructions to set up are pretty vague – this is certainly not a plug & play device & would be better suited for someone with fair amount of electronic/car knowledge to install.
To install this device you will need to connect it via your car’s cigarette lighter socket, this also means you will then have cables hanging near your gear stick – My advice would be to pay a professional to install this internally, this way you could still use this device whilst the cables would be out of your way & in turn also free up your lighter socket.
I need more times to review see how it is. So here I am. You do need this carplay in your car if you don’t have one. I recommend you get one. It is brilliant and useful. It’s good size and have touchscreen. It also have built in speaker which sounds good quality. Android auto is best one I use, it helps to direction where you want to go. Also it have Bluetooth which you can connect on your phone. It comes with suction mount adjustable bracket and suction flat plate. Works well with android or apple.

Sadly it arrived broken and looked to have been used already. It was linked to three other phones and was making s buzzing noise.
Amazon would not offer a replacement and as the price has gone up I could not order a new one.
Not very happy overall. Amazon is normally very good.

I ordered a second one and sadly it has the same issue. Buzzing noise like a broken cooling fan or speaker noise. I really like the device but I am not going to risk a third one.
There’s a built in speaker should you want to use it that sounds ok, but I’ve been primarily using the aux out via a 3.5mm audio cable. This works very well, with good sound quality and decent volume. Alternatively you can use the FM transmitter feature, this again works really well, with easy controls via the touchscreen. The audio quality is excellent both via cable and FM.
CarPlay and Android Auto are delivered wirelessly, which is so convenient, and rare to find in even the most modern factory installed car stereos even today, so really nice to have this feature out of the box. It’s so convenient that you simply start your car and the screen springs to life, and you’re greeted with your CarPlay or Android Auto screens within a few seconds, all with your phone still in your pocket! You can, if you wish, plug your phone into the USB port for wired CarPlay or Android Auto, with up to 2.1A charging if that is your preference.
The kit is supplied with a suction mount adjustable bracket, with a very good amount of adjustment available, including tilt and rotate options. A suction flat plate is also included. Alternatively, a flat plate bracket with an adhesive back is also supplied, for permanent mounting to the dashboard.
Overall, I can’t recommend this kit enough. It’s hugely upgraded my existing stereo system, with very easy installation in less than 5 minutes, that would be very easy to move to another vehicle if required.
Das Gert ist fr das was es kann ziemlich teuer, aufgrund mangelnder Konkurrenz (bislang habe ich nur noch die Variante von Hieha gefunden) aber leider sprlich am Markt vertreten. Varianten ber DIN-Schchte funktionieren bei mir leider nicht.
Die Kamera habe ich noch nicht getestet, da ich erst einen Test ohne feste Montage durchfhren wollte.
