Very well made , only downside is the fiddly little allan screws that are required to be used to fit the finger rest and chin tab, comes with both allan keys but would have been better assembled
Comes with two Allen keys for assembly. I’m not sure why reviews here say that one of the Allen keys is the wrong size, because it isn’t – they’re both the correct size, one for the larger bolt for the finger separator and the other for the 4 smaller screws to attach the shelf and the finger plate – the smaller screws are a little fiddly to insert, but then that’s the case with any tab.
I wouldn’t say that the screws are necessarily poor quality either, they seem similar to any other tab in the price range, I can tighten them fine without damage, and I’m not convinced that paying 100 for a tab endorsed by an Olympic archer is going to get you anything better on that front – I’m certainly not prepared to pay that much.
The middle finger strap is pre-threaded through the cord lock fastener, which is really helpful as it’s always a pain in the backside to thread through the tiny holes if you have to assemble yourself (though don’t make the same mistake as I did with this one of accidentally pulling one end out when tightening for the first time).
Couple of things that could be better here though:
– The index and middle finger separator could be a bit longer
– The leather is quite stiff to start off with, though it will soften with use
Overall it’s not too bad for the price, a couple of quid cheaper than the brand I usually use.
This is a comfortable tab for use when you are shooting arrows. The device comes unassembled, and has two allen keys supplied. Unfortunately one of the keys is the wrong size for the bolts. This is a bit of a waste and might as well not been supplied.
Apart from the fingerplate the bolts don’t need to be done up too tight, so one can just use your fingers to put the bolts in.
Once the tab is assembled it is comfortable for use by an adult, it is just slightly too large for my 9 year old son.
Lovely product, easy to assemble, although one of the hex keys supplied was a bit too small. Brought this to replace one that was uncomfortable. My shooting has improved considerably. I like this a lo
