This product was bought for my mum, so it’s light enough for her to use, could last well if with care, I did like the fact it has brass fittings, the only draw back is the very flimsy hanger, we’re looking to pop something stronger on the wall to hold the hose when not in use
A great surprise, easy to use and easy to stow, so far so good.
Very lightweight and easy to use – my 86 year old neighbour immediately asked me to get her one too as she was still lugging a heavy hose on a reel around. However – 2 months down the line and twice weekly use the hose has burst and is now useless apparently returns window has closed for this item. 2 months use is NOT GOOD VALUE – very disappointing result of what started so well. Very short option to return makes this purchase more than doubly frustrating !!

I was a bit dubious about buying this after reading lots of negative reviews about durability, but thought I’d give one a try.
I’ve used it 4 times and up to now it’s great; expands the length of my garden while I use it, and then contracts itself when I turn the water off. It also came with a handy storage hook. I love it, but I’ve no idea how long it will last.

Bought one of these last year for back garden. So pleased with it bought one for front garden as well. Easy to use and lightweight. No blockages caused by kinks. Perfect for me.
Was perfect for my garden and comes with a decent shut off valve too on the hose as well as the head that gives different sprays. Also has various attachments. Well worth the money.
Unlike most similar hoses, the spray gun and on/off valve are not a click-on design; they are both permanently attached to the hose. This makes interchangeability impossible unless you cut back the hose and use other fittings.

Easy to fit on but the connection is tight and there are no leaks. It’s perfect for what I needed. And takes up much less space than my old hose.

Few years ago spent 40 on one and this one less than half the price is just as good and kids love using it would definitely recommend

perfect for big garden. i have ordered 100ft and the flexibility is great. very light weight as well. all the essentials comes in the kit, when the tap is off the left over water can easily be poured out and the hose can easily be contracted.
Absolutely love this product! I bought it for my garden which is 90ft so it reaches the end of the garden with hose to spare! Comfortable, lightweight and the best thing about it is it’s nice and compact so it is really easy to put away once I’m done. Will be using it to get water to the front of the house as I don’t have a tap there and will get it hooked up to the jet wash. Given it’s sturdiness, I’m sure that won’t be an issue! Very pleased with the purchase. So far, so good. No leaks, no blockages. Love it!
There are some bad hoses in here – this isn’t one of them!

This is not the first expandable hose I have bought with a few really poor previous purchases.
Positives- Decent quality material, easy to connect and good attachments made it all very easy to use. The hose shortens to a decent size when not filled with water which makes storage easy. It seems a fairly durable hose. No issues with that aspect.
Negatives- The actual spray attachment is a little bit cheap and after a few uses it misaligned which makes using it a bit less enjoyable than it was initially. Its still functional, but a couple of the modes now don’t work properly as the water simply hits the attachment before being sprayed so just goes on you instead.
Despite the negative I would recommend this product. Decent price and better than alternatives I have had, including some bought from traditional large garden centre chain stores.

That’s never as long as it says… Hang on! Turn it on, it comes alive! As the title says, magic. Good brass connections and shrinks back to its wee carry case. Brilliant for someone used to heavy plastic hoses – and great value for money.
Really pleased with this hosepipe. The metal fittings are really strong and the hanging piece supplied is a real bonus. The hanging unit can be fixed to a wall (using your own fittings) or hung over your outside tap, which is what we decided to do. Only advice is to remember, after you have turned off the water to your hose, you need to squeeze the trigger on the gun to allow any water still in the hose to come out…. The hose then retracts again to the smaller size and is ready for storage. Would highly recommend.

lightweight, relatively easy to use although you must let the hose fill up before using it, as if you drag along the floor it could snag and I don’t believe that this would be repairable. not the tidiest, but it’s a hose..

A friend purchased for me as I only have water at the back of my terraced house and this is so easy and clean to run through the house to water the front garden. So easy to use and good quality. Shrinks back and is so light weight I can hook over the outside tap. Purchased one for my elderly mum she loves it and can manage to water her garden very easily.
Great hose never had one before but I won’t be going back to the usual hose and reel really light weight a lot easier to use than the normal hose and reel and a lot easier to store comes with a little bag for storage brillia

When the box arrived I wasn’t sure the correct hose had been sent. It is deceptively small when contracted. Once attached to the tap and filled with water, it completely expands to its full length. I love that all of the connectors are of high quality, and the tidy hook is a nice touch.
We needed a new longer hose this one is so good and much better than the old can highly recommend
Took 2 mins to install, comes with all the necessary bits to install on any tap. the holder holds the pipe nicely in place. The pipe expands like magic when it see water pressure.

Delivered on time…it takes up hardly any room in the shed, whereas the previous hard plastic hose had to be stored untidily in garden. Love the way it contracts and expands when it is being filled and emptied. Great invention.
This looks like a good hose, unfortunately I couldn’t connect it in any way as the adaptors were both too small to connect to my outside tap it needs one a size bigger for outside taps. I’ve had to buy a bigger connector for 7 to make the hose fit my tap. When it arrives I will update my review to say how the hose itself works as I cannot comment on that until I manage to use i

Great bit of kit. I will never buy an old fashioned reel again. Just remember to turn it off at the tap a minute before you finish to give the hose a chance to empty.

Nice hose with metal fitting. So I’m hoping it will last longer than one with plastic ones. Only problem with it you need to but extra fittings to allow you to attach it to other hose accessories. As it screws in to the spray gun. You can buy them here in amazon but seems a bit cheeky having to spend more money when most garden watering accessories have a standard hose fitting

No drips or leaks and arrived on time.
Only used the hose 4 or 5 times so far, works as expected expands to advertised length. Easy to drain after use. Only given 4 stars on durability because I have not used it enough however I have no complaints so far.
This has been a great purchase. Lots of choice with the nozzle over the water flow, recoils and fits away neatly when not used but the best thing is that this stretched from the back of my terraced house, through the house to the front garden! No more carrying watering cans!

Totally different to my old heavy hose. This expands as the water pressure inside it builds. The hose tripled in length and more to its full stretch. Really lightweight and easy to use. The black hook is a bit of an odd design, if it’s intended to go where the tap is housed then there’s not much space for the hose to wrap. Other than that a superb product with lots of accessories.

Easy to set up and light weight. Comes with attachment to fit to a wall. The instructions are not correct though, you don’t need to fit the washers as they are already in position. The hose attachment is great with a good range of functions.

Easy to connect to my pre-existing outside tap ,it’s lightweight, Value for money, just had to change the existing tap connector for the new one, as mine was a different fitting ,it was easy enough, with an adjustable spanner , if I can do it anyone can , it’s really easy , my existing hose had sprang quite a few leaks as did the existing water gun , so this product did the job nicely ,took all existing connectors off and Screwed the new ones in place hung the hose tidy on the tap . Job done .
Youvwill need to get z seperate fitting for jetcwashers etc. But great produc
Great hose, easy to use. Loses a star as I, and others, found it difficult to connect the hose to the tap fitting. A drawing with the pull back action would help.
It is lightweight and therefore very easy to use.
The instructions said to allow the hose to completely fill. I didn’t at first, so felt the hose was not as long as I’d hoped it would be. However, once I followed the advice (!) it stretched about 2x further!
Although it is very new and not been used much yet, if it continues to be as good as it was today, I will be thrilled with my purchase – good value for money.
First impressions was that it was very light and a tad flimsy – the metal connectors are very light and couldn’t be called brass. I went for the 25ft model and use it in the greenhouse.
But … pleasant surprise(s)
It doesn’t leak – it is supplied with 3 spare rubber seals and a small roll of PTFE tape (I’ve never encountered that before) – but none was needed.
The spray head is stunning – light but great patterns and great flow.
The expanding rubber inner tube (if I can call it that) acts as an expansion vessel – turn off the water at source, release the trigger on the spray head and the rubber contracts very quickly forcing the water out of the hose at pressure. I’ve had a couple of these hoses in the past and I’ve never seen a hose contract as quickly.
The only (minor) negative is that I have a feeling that the outer sleeve caught on the rubber in one or two places when initially filled. The outer sleeve got very taut in some places, but still crumpled in others. I simply massaged the outer sleeve to free it at the two pinch points and its functioning perfectly since.
It should be said that I have good high water pressure, so can use a pressure washer with it also – this would not be possible if you have very low water pressure.
Helpful hint – there’s a metal ring/hook at the top of the spray head (circled in the photo) that can be used to keep the spray open if you need unattended spraying.

Good quality product. Very easy to storage as it’s expandable. I am surprised by it’s weight. I can easily take it to front from our garden because of the light weight. I would recommend this garden hose.
Wow surprised at the size of the box. It seemed very small for a 50m but realised it expands and reaches both my front and back gardens.. it definitely is long enough. Great hose with really useful accessories plus a bag to store them to.. so compact making it easy to store to. Definitely would recommend to everyone.
When I opened the packaging I was shocked. I ordered 50m length but it was looking so small, then I realised I can stretch it. And as soon as I run the water it expands, really nice trick.
Good that it comes with a hook to hang the pipe after using it.
