The 8 way extension is a fantastic solution to power every device on the desk. It includes two monitors, a laptop, a printer, a pedestal fan, and an echo show. There are two ports empty now but I may need those in the future. It is cheaper and tidier than buying two separate extensions. The USB chargers work well to charge wireless devices. I wish it to have separate power control at least per block but it is not critical. Overall happy with the product.
I’ve used this in my solar powered shed. Works great and love that it can be mounted sideways, looks nice and does the job.
I ordered this to go behind the TV to plug in all the different devices we have – TV, sound bar, Now TV box, WIFI etc.
Well made – very robust and durable
Can be wall mounted if required
Really handy having 2 x USB ports as well as one USB-C,
I had a little trouble when plugging in my MacBook Pro charger as the plug is quite wide but I moved it to the edge and was able to squeeze another plug next to it.
For normal sized plugs that won’t be a problem
Useful number of sockets and the unit has its own on/off switch
Good piece of kit, it’s handy having several standard USB ports and one USBc in addition to the three pin plugs. Good build quality, so the USBs don’t get loose despite the fact that my kids are forever clumsily swapping them over.
Perfect when only have one plug and need to plug in other thing behind your units must by and have USB ports to
Feels well built with a bit of weight to it. I’ve used it to hook up 2 consoles and the USB’s come in handy for charging controllers
Eventually went for this because of great reviews and it was on sale, I was going to spend a max of 15 quid on a 8 plug extension, other ones had mixed reviews and u can’t play around when it comes to things like this, it’s amazing, attractive, plenty space between plugs and bonus can charge my tablet n fone as well, I paid 19.25 for this
This is a decently constructed, solid piece of kit, different mounting holes for a choice of ways to fix it to a wall etc., should you choose to do so. UK 3 pin Plugs fit nice and tightly, not sloppily like many extension leads do, large or slightly wider plugs don’t clash against each other either. The USB/USB’C’ slots are a nice touch, and very, very useful. I bought an second one as I was so pleased with the first and will probably buy again.
Ok, it’s not the cheapest product like this, but definitely worth paying a little more for.
I use this extension for my computer and associated electrical items. It functions perfectly for my needs and allows me to recharge iPads, iPhones and other USB peripherals at the same time. It has an inbuilt anti-surge mechanism, but I cannot attest to its effectiveness – and hope I never have to! All in all a great purchase that I would recommend to others.
This extension cord power strip is a lot bigger than normal power strips, it has 8 sockets and 4 usb sockets, it looks sturdy and good quality, I put it next to my TV, here is what I most need more socket place. The USB socket can be directly plugged into the USB charging cable to charge the mobile phone. Its power cord is very thick. With it, the problem of insufficient sockets is solved. Now it is really good to have extra sockets.
Really great quality extension lead cable with USB and USBC slot. My husband uses this in his office and it works brilliantly.
It means he can plug in his phone light and laptop plus monitor all from one extension lead. It’s a great plug set that I am happy to use and recommend. It’s been used all hours of the day every day since we got it and we have had no problems with it. It doesn’t get hot and the plug socket holes are evenly spaced so all of the plugs of different sizes fit in there with ease.
I had been looking at this power strip for a while. I love the idea that it was a surge protector but also had places for USB ports that I would not need a brick for. I can plug-in three USB ports and something else and eight plugs and not have a problem it is sturdy it is well-made it fits everything I have my iPhone chargers in there as well as my android and it works with everything!!!! Best investment ever!

8 plug sockets, 3 old style USB ones, 1 new USB c and a power switch.
I’ve used this for my TV and it has everything I need for a TV, console, satellite and soundbar.
One thing seems to always ring true, in that, you can never have enough plugs / power outlets these days; and ‘working from home’ only seems to have made that worse, with every device demanding an outlet.
Addtam’s 8-way (UK) multi-plug board, also features 4 USB sockets. 3 are the classic USB type and 1 is the up-to-date USB-C type connector.
The whole board / unit is compact, lightweight and well thought out, with nicely contoured edges and great little features, like the ‘mounts’ (which allows for hooks or screws (four screws are even supplied). There’s also a ‘surge protection’ indicator (light) and a single (1x) rocker switch, so that the entire board can be switch on/off.
The (UK) 3-pin plug is moulded (as per current standards) and there’s a convenient 1.8 metres of cable, which has a nice two-tone braiding.
For the price, design and practicality, it’s really hard to fault; as it’s a nice laid out design, compact and with all the features that I look for in a multi-plug board. I almost feel guilty that it’s tucked away, as it’s certainly a more attractive layout / design than many of the rather ‘utilitarian’ items that I already have.
My only criticism is that that case material does feel a little bit thin / lightweight, so I’m not sure how well it’d stand up to being dropped (always a danger if I were to use this in my workshop), but for home and office use, it’s ideal.
8 plugs, 4 usb ports (1 is a usbc) in such a small space, what is not to like? Great for under work/computer desks. Really like these modern plug sets that incorporate usb ports into them, saves having to search out usb plugs every time when charging things. There are a lot of these about at the moment (I have received 3 to review). At an RRP of 31.99 at time of reviewing this is a bit more expensive than the previous one I reviewed which has the same number of outlets but longer wire. Does the job.
Very handy unit with lots of sockets for the many devices needed in my home/bedroom office in a Victorian house with hardly any outlets! Stuck it inside desk to keep cables off the floor. 3 regular usb slots and a usb C one too which have not seen before and may come in handy. Cord is useful length at 1.5 m, all seems well made and generally I am pleased with this product.
Has one switch to turn all devices off. Good at the end of the day!
Comes with screws to mount it although I have stuck it with double sided gel tape which has a million uses!
