Easy to use, good battery life, better than expected.does everything I need it to do for golf.this watch is excellent quality great product at a great price
The watch takes a bit of getting used to and at times seems to have a mind of its own. Distances seem pretty accurate. All in all though good value for money.
Very comfortable to wear accurate measurements and updates as you move to each hole. Would highly recommend as it is a good price for the item.
Perfectly OK for my daughter she has never complained about the watch instead she appreciate it.
It does change the game of golf. It’s the cheapest on the market, and still works well
This was a gift to my wife, who is familiarising herself with its operation. She is very pleased with it so far.
Awesome basic golf watch for measuring yards. Nice and basis woulove it to work on phone app but with it the basic one it works on laptop.
Great purchase & cheap at 110 ! – does exactly what it needs to. Has helped me loads with judging shots to the green. Very pleased with this watch.
I have now used this watch a few times and it is very accurate. Easy to set up although I couldn’t get the date working but that might just be me. Picks up the course within minutes of turning it on. You can also keep your score on this watch but I haven’t used this as have a score card. I have checked different markers on the golf course, 200, 150 and 100 and all seem to be with in 1-2 yards. Gives you lay up distance for hazards and dog legs. this watch has given me an advantage with club selection I just need to start swinging at the same speed on every shot. Taken about 4 shots off each time I have played and this watch is working great for me. Tiger Woods watch out! Played 3 rounds over a weekend without charging it once so battery life is very good. only downside is the side buttons get pressed when on your glove hand so it takes a little time getting used to this and making sure your glove doesn’t touch. very glad I bought this. Would highly recommend.

I bought it to replace a S1 i have had for many happy years, but unfortunately dropped & drove over it.
With the S1 now obsolete, I was looking for the most similar at the best price. The S10 has all & more of the functions of the S1 & I am now getting used to navigating through them. The S10 is certainly lighter than the S1, but I’m a little worried that the strap is certainly flimsy in comparison, & a bit fiddly to adjust.
Prefer the plug in charger on the S10, & the charging time is certainly improved.
I’ve only had it about 4 weeks, so early days, but so far so good.

Only used it a couple of times and still trying to get used to the buttons when on the course, especially trying to end the round, but excellent for distance judgeme
Great bit of kit, does the job. Only disappointment was 1 week after buying it, I saw it 20 cheaper on one of my regular golf sites!!
As the Approach S10 is an “OLD” product it needed a complete upgrade which requires loading the App on a Laptop to do the download to the Watch which takes quite a bit of time but works ok
Sits on wrist well looks smart relatively easy to use once used a few times.
Has distances to front and back for 99% of bunkers/ditches/water hazards.
Lightweight and sleek looking.
Has been a good purchase at competitive price.

Easy to use and accuracy appears good, definitely accurate enough for someone of my standard where a yard either way makes no difference to how far the ball goes! Good buy and easy to use.
Great watch. Very accurate for distances but I was playing a venue that had 2 courses on it and it was getting mixed up where I was at times. Can’t fault it if your playing a venue with only 1 course
Single figure golfer .I have a laser range finder and always fancied a watch to try .this is low price but does everything you could want .it’s not a touch screen but the buttons are easy to use even with my sausage fingers.battery life is pretty good and the screen is great even in sunlight 8/10
Brought this for my son for Christmas, now he can go on the golf course.
He’s very pleased with his watch.
Battery life is good and very accurate.
Value for money
Work fine and quite accurate distance after I worked how to use the watch
Great price on B-Friday for a good bit of kit. Good accuracy on the course.
Does exactly what you want it to do and more. Great value for money.
Good entry level golf watch. The only criticism is the strap is very thin and quite awkward to get done up properly.
Upgraded from the s3. The s10 is thinner, lighter and has a simple on button rather than having to swipe to start. It also gives distance to hazzards and simple to use it to score. Thought the s3 was good, this is however so much better.
Bought as I joined a new course and there are hazards you need to avoid 🙂 Has helped me improve my game and less likelihood of ending up in the hazards (except when I mess my shot up). Would recommend.
The delivery of the watch was on time, and very securely delivered. Really nice watch, although instructions a bit sparse. I wasted a lot of time trying to access “demo mode” (see image of what appears on the watch – simple enough but kept going to “Start Round” & searching for satellites instead).
I decided to email Garmin Product Support & eventually they confirmed (1) demo mode on my new watch was disabled and (2) demo mode on their watch was disabled too! They didn’t know when or why the demo was disabled, so are investigating. Hopefully, it’ll be sorted soon.

First time I have had one can I say it is very good still learning what it can do me being old takes time to sink in !! But for the price I does exactly what I want it to do & More
Wanted to know the yardage as I approached the green, and this does it well. Keep forgetting how to ‘measure the distance of the shot’ and it’s pressing the top right button. If I had to say anything negative it would be it takes quite a few minutes to ‘locate satellites’, so advise switching it on as soon as you arrive at the Course. Other than that, I love it.
You need to use Garmin Express to download your scorecard and this isn’t available on Chromebook. This doesn’t have bluetooth either, so can’t use Garmin Express on mobile either. Luckily we had an old Windows laptop so did data transfer on that which is annoying as the laptop is so slowww to boot up as it’s old, hence the Chromebook. Garmin did a crafty thing there. Apart from this annoyance the product itself works fine.
I like the fact that it gives you a better idea of what club to use for your next shot. I’ve been using this item on a few golf courses and found it very helpful.
A great device that’s easy & straightforward to use. Looks good & does exactly what it claims to. It charges well with a solid connection & acts as a good watch too – quite handy when you’re rushing around trying to make your tee time.
Neat watch which does all you need. Takes a couple of rounds to get the hang of it but then pretty easy to operate. Previously had a Snooper Shotsaver with a colour screen but this is almost as good.
This watch can be quite frustrating when out on the golf course. I play off the ladies’ tees and the watch only moves on to the next hole if it happens to pass the gents’ tee. Otherwise you have to manually move it on which can be a bit fiddly. Often coming up with the “end round” option.
It sometimes takes time to locate the current golf course requiring a few attempts to do so.
Battery lasts for one round (18 holes) and it is best if you leave it on charge until your next round of golf.

For such a low price for a Garmin, GPS golf watch the device performs perfectly.
Easy to read display,
Tells you the distance to hazards, how wide the hazards are and how far to doglegs.
Gives you 100,150,200 layup distances.
Great battery life and feels really comfortable to wear.
It seems to pretty accurate, i play with other golfers who have other more expensive watches and we are always within a yard or 2 of each other.
It’s pretty simple to operate, the App doesn’t give you much apart from a record of your scores, so doesn’t work out handicap or putts per roaound etc
At the price it is very good value and distance accuracy within a couple of yards. I went away on a golf trip and played a few different courses. I checked the watch from the 150 yard markers and par 3 tees and was surprised how accurate it was compared to my old Garmin and my playing colleagues much more expensive rangefinders.. A few add on’s which I don’t really use. I am able to get 2 rounds off the battery as long as it’s within 4 to 4 and a half hours per round. It’s a bit difficult to know if the battery is fully charged but apart from that happy with my purchase.

It’s much different from the previous Garmin golf watch I used. Still trying to figure it out. Instructions very minimal and poor.
Arrived on time well packaged. Value for money golfers watch. Simple setup and although the buttons are a bit fiddly to begin with, it doesn’t take long to master them. if you require courses, yardages and basic info of the course then I would recommend this.
I like the grey colour that I had chosen and I like the flexibility of the strap which is easy to do up.
Initially I found it tricky to know which buttons to use for which functions but after about 4 games I am now more familiar with what I need to do to find the hazard distances etc. I think it would help greatly if the instructions sent out with the watch were a bit more explicit. I had to use trial and error as this watch replaced my previous Bushnell Neo golf watch and I was used to that system and this new watch is a little different to operate.
Time will tell how impressed I become on this watch as its really too early to tell properly yet.

It’s still early days but so far I am very pleased with the watch itself. I am finding it easy to use and accurate so it helps with my club selection. The only negative is the strap seems flimsy and I’m not sure how long it will las
I only wanted a basic entry level golf watch and this ticked all the boxes. Typically my golf partner has a more expensive model but when we compare distances they are within a yard of each other and while his has a couple of other functions they are not, in my opinion, worth the extra cost. Instructions are limited so you learn best by using the watch. This can result in some annoying mistakes in the early days which can distract from your game. However all the basic data is there once you know how to find it: accurate distances to front middle and back of the green, basic hazards and distances to the front and back of these and recommended layups and distances. Plus ability to record your scores and download these later. I’d say this is a good entry level watch.

Easy to charge and shows percentage of battery charged! Sometimes skips holes or sticks at the hole just played but easily enough remedied with a bit of patience!
This is an accurate lightweight golf watch and came up to most of my expectations. However, I have used the S2
and find the control buttons on the S10 not as simple to use.
It does have additional features to the S2 and will take time to become used to it.
Good at what matters – quickly picking up courses and an excellent battery life. Quick to charge too.
A bit fiddly though for navigating through the menu and entering scores.
Took a little time to get used to it, but now I have the hang of it I much prefer it to the S4. Battery lasts for at least two rounds and the charging lead and point is not fiddly like earlier versions.
I had to upgrade from an older Garmin after the screen died, so was very pleased by the new scrollable hazard list on most holes as the older version did not have this function
This version is not touch screen and I find this better as it doesn’t change whilst your hands are in your pockets on a cold day.
The device is accurate and easy to read at a glance
Very happy with i
The product is used for yardage finding on golf courses. The Garmin S10 more comprehensive than my old Garmin S1, and therefore slightly more complicated to use. I hope the strap lasts as long as the watch on this model, as this was a negative of the S1. Up to now I`m very pleased with the product.
Just used my garment approach range finder it easy to use and found my course easily it is light on the wrist as not to feel that I had it on. The buttons were easy to navigate and accurate yardage given had to push some holes on when they were in close proximity but it was easily done you don’t have to a techno wiz to do it after 2 rounds of golf only used half of the battery life the watch strap feels that you need to treat it carefully as it may break but time will tell but overall very pleased with my purchase and have recommended it to my friends

Good value (on Primeday 90 ish )Very easy and straightforward to use. Accurate and looks nice. No issues with battery aft 18 holes. My only criticism is that it is not compatable with the garmin app as it is an old model, so you have to sync it & download your data via PC/Mac. I use a Mac.
The watch does what is says and the distance is spot on. Just wish it tracked the round when you downloaded…but I suppose the more expensive models do that. Really happy with the product for the price. Does what I need and has helped already
Had an S1 for years, upgraded thanks to Prime day – One read through of the quick start guide and was able to track my whole round, no issue with the watch autorolling to next hole, added strokes at each green and easily navigated menu to amend the odd incorrect entry. Yardage is also accurate as used it on a new course and had no problems navigating bunkers/dog legs
The button presses could ‘feel’ more solid, however as the product is lightweight by design, I feel this suits the watch.
Only downside is that after two rounds the wear is already showing on the backplate as pictured
Lastly this does not connect to the Garmin golf app, you need an s20 if that’s what you’re after (I was just interested in ‘on the day’ yardage, I’m not hoping for a green jacket in the near future anyway(!)
For the price it is excellent value. Gives all the distances, front, middle and back of the green. Gives distances to hazards,9 bunkers etc. You can also keep your score by entering number of strokes after each hole. You can upload your score to the computer to keep track. Battery life is sufficient for a couple of games. The strap is a bit flimsy so we will see how long it lasts.

The product is extremely lightweight , which is great for comfort , but I do wonder about the life of the strap for example ….but this is yet to be known given that I have only had the watch a couple of months . The operation is still a bit of a mystery …..it does not seem to correspond to the instructions , although I have always managed to get what I want by experimentation , so will probably crack it soon !!! Overall in these early days , seems to work well and the battery life is better than previous ones I have owned . So far so good.
Lightweight watch and fits comfortably. Can be a bit “fiddly” on first using till you get used to the operating buttons on each side but generally easy to use. Picks up the courses quite quickly when switched on. Occasionally changes hole too quickly and you need to manually go back. Distances shown are accurate to within 1 or 2 yds against course markers. Wristband is integrated with the watch face and not replaceable separately. Battery easily lasts two full rounds and use as a standard watch afterwards before recharging. Overall, happy enough with the purchase
As someone who always “comes up short” when approaching on any hole I’ve taken the plunge and decided to purchase one of these to give me the confidence selecting the right club and overall momentum of my swing. The GPS finds courses quickly and covers 9/10 holes in my area. I play on a 9-Hole course which is perfect for me but nothing special, but I was pleased to find it on the list of courses. It’s perfect for gauging any distance to the front/middle/back of the green as well as hazards/doglegs on par 4/5 holes, I’m a high handicapper so having the distance laid out in front of me is ideal as in theory this should eliminate those shots accumulated to make up for all those times I’ve misread the approach and come up short! There is a garmin app you can sync the watch with to record your scores, but I’ve yet to use this feature. My only gripe would be that the strap is a wee bit flimsy, it takes some force to strap/unstrap the watch and I’m worried that this may cause the rubber to split over time.

Clear display even in bright sunlight. Distance to front, middle and back of green from your current position. Options to score and display up distances to hazards and green (neither of which I use). Also gives duration of round and total distance covered. Battery life is good (at least 2 rounds). Gave 4 stars because, being an LCD, the display requires a backlight to be useful as a watch.

Great watch for both normal use and golf use. Gives detailed information on distances to greens and hazards and handy to input your score as you go around the course. Occasionally you have to force it to change hole if some greens are very close together but on the whole very accurate. When setting time and date make sure you have a gps signal which usually means you have to be outdoors.

Superior to my previous early Garmin. With updates on line provides reliable GPS information. To be picky I found the buttons a bit fiddly and no that intuitive how to move to important stuff like ending round. Also the strap is a bit floppy for easy tucking into the loop. To be fair though, after half a dozen games I find I’m well on top of the tec even though I’m an old guy. Overall well pleased and feel was good value

I liked the clarity of the distances on the golf courses, but dislike the fact that it does not always automatically advance from hole to hole, unless one is in a position to pass the men’s tee.

This was purchased by the family for husband/dad’s birthday and he loves it. He says it is very easy to use and the large face means that he can see the time and other info without his specs!

Bought Granite Blue colour for my husband to replace his Sky caddie SGX and he loves it. Gives him more info and easy to use. Very lightweight on the wrist. Great buy
Liked this so much, I bought another one for myself in Powder Grey. Used if for the first time yesterday and was excellent.
I also ordered the Garmin S20 to compare as I thought it looked more feminine in white however, it was very bulky on my wrist compared to the Lightweight S10 so sent it back also, I probably wouldn’t have used all the functions it had to offer.
