For the price, its hard to find a better combination of clear, precise sound as well as good fancy looks and build quality. Bass is decent but not overwhelming. I have bought 2 units which can be paired. One outside, one inside or either way u like. Will last close to 10 hours when volume is 50-60% steady. Louder will get you about 6 hours. Lacks a remote control but your phone can di the job if needed. Can witstand a bit of rain but NOT waterproof overall , in many aspects, hard to go wrong at that price point.

Love this speaker for sitting on the porch or having a small get together. Sound is great, amazing quality and the price was right. No issues at all, easy to charge, quick to charge and easy to connect to

The sound is excellent, connectivity is excellent, and the battery lasted a long time, and it looks good, too.

The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the power input jack, which is fidgety. The first-time charge with the included cables flickered on and off before I got it in a stable position to stay connected. other, premium cables had better luck.

Nice looking speaker , good sound . Limited sound options and the usb c port is as dodgy as sone of the other reviews have said it feels like it’s easy to break

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMarley’s Get Together mini speaker is an very good, solidly built speaker with excellent sound. The reasons I don’t give it a 5 are:
1- Bluetooth connection is closed after a very short time of silence. I could not find a way to extend it or to disable it altogether. This happens even if it is connected to the charger.
2- I use this as a computer speaker. I am unable to lower the volume to the minimum. I don’t think this is the problem of the operating system (I use Windows 11), as I can lower another speaker to the lowest volume. But, not on Get Together min.

Other than the above, this is a very good speaker to have.

The charging cord is very slack and it is not charging the speaker, i have to use my phone charger to charge the speaker. I’m not happy about that, overall the speaker is good.

I bought this speaker for teaching fitness classes, the first one sent wouldn’t charge up properly unless you held the wire in position. So I returned it and they immediately refunded me & I re bought it as the sound quality is so good for my needs. It’s light weight , looks great & sounds fab.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is genuine the best sounding Bluetooth speaker I’ve had and I’ve had a few; LG, UE, Sony, B&O, Denon, Monster.

The sound depth, bass, midrange and sheer power are ridiculous, especially given it’s size – it’s the mini version.

For less than a ton, you won’t get anything else 50% as good as this; I’d have willingly paid more.

No idea on battery life, as it’s on first charge, but it’s currently hammering out my mixed genre playlist with ease, on 40% volume.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersI don’t cheap it out when it comes to sound quality and this is a bang for your buck with marley and they’re only the mini version. Sound quality is amazing and it gets sooooo loud, fills the room really well. Worth the money and its still gong strong after about 9 months. PS you can drop it a few times and its good. Don’t charge your phone with it unless its an emergency though cus it really eats at the battery

When looking at top tens of bluetooth portable speakers amazed not to see this speaker mentioned. Great sound quality that fills a good sized room easily. On top of which it looks great.

Incredible sound quality from a fairly small speaker, much better than I thought it would based on my experience with similar devices. The setup is very easy, I paired it to my smart phone and had music pumping out in a matter of seconds.
The build it excellent, no loose pieces or weird rattles, even though my has dropped it a couple of times! Really makes a difference even when used outdoors or in a large room.

Solid, very attractive well built speaker with good sound quality for the price.
Good level of lows, mid and high and bass – clarity is good and bass is punchy.
    Very happy

I’m not sure why they marketed this as ‘mini’, because mini is something very light you could stuff into a rucksack without taking much space and this is the opposite. While not particularly heavy it is quite big, something you’d put in your bedroom and generally keep there.

I do like the mission behind the HoM company and the product range capitalises well on the Bob Marley image. This one has a very nice bamboo which almost makes you think of pre-1980s hi-fi systems, before black and silver killed beige.

Speaker volume and quality is pretty good but not astounding. It’s well-built though and the controls depress nicely, and it’s also very easy to use if you’re familiar with any Bluetooth device, though you can also plug in a 3.5mm cable.

Playback of about 10hrs is reasonable (I’ve confirmed that) and you can also use it to charge USB devices.

While I prefer lighter and slightly better-sounding competition this wins hands-down on aesthetics. Choose wisely!

to be honest I like this little box, it has a few drawbacks but they dont really bother me enough to not enjoy it. It has alot of punch for such a small box. to set up was a piece of cake, start it up pair it and and away you go. no messing about trying to mess about with programs, and it picks it up every time you switch it on.

sound wise it is not going to be the greatest thing ever. But to get that you will be spending alot more money, but for what you are paying its a very usable sound. and a very loud and amazing amount of bass comming out of such a small box. As long as you can use programs with an equalizer you can tame the sound to your liking. but yeah, love the well made, sturdy format it comes in. neat, tidy design, and very good sound quality. very happy with it at the price point, have had more expensive ones that sounded horrible in comparrison.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis House of Marley Get Together Mini Speaker comes attractively boxed with a USB mains adaptor and instruction leaflet with probably the smallest font I’ve seen. My immediate reaction to seeing this speaker is that the adjective “Mini” is a bit misleading as it measures roughly 30cm long x 10cm high x 7.5cm deep making it portable but certainly not Mini. I suspect the label “Mini” comes from the size of this version relative to the full size HoM “Get Together” series.

This is an interesting speaker which features a bamboo facia with a fabric covered top and sides and rubber strip feet. The audio is delivered by 2 x 1″ tweeters and 2 x 2.5″ woofers with a Passive Bass Radiator (PBR) at the rear. The unit features a battery with a life of up to 10 hours. Overall, the speaker looks and feels well made although the exposed and unguarded woofer cones could be tempting to young fingers.

The Bluetooth is version 4.1 with an A2DP audio codec for improved sound and the pressure button controls are simple – volume up/down, Bluetooth connection/aux and power on/off with LED indicators for power/Bluetooth supplemented by clear voice prompts. Around the back of the unit is a Micro USB charging socket with full size 1A USB charging outlet for other devices plus an auxiliary audio input for non-Bluetooth devices.

The speaker paired easily with my iPad and Windows 10 PC, the voice prompts being genuinely useful. Overall the sound quality is good. The treble/mid range are particularly distinct and spacious but the bass although powerful can sound slightly muddy and I suspect some of it is absorbed by the weighty solid cabinet. The output is substantial and adequate for an average room. During quieter passages there is slight hiss/interference possibly from the Bluetooth connection – I tried a number of tracks and it isn’t caused by the source device but you only know it’s there if you listen for it.

In summary, this is a really original, well constructed speaker which delivers a very acceptable sound.

Not quite sure why this is described as a mini speaker – it really isn’t. Compact perhaps but not mini.

It is a very well made and reassuringly hefty piece of kit.

Design is very flattering and the bamboo facade looks very good. The cloth on the top and sides is less impressive and feels like it is going to scuff very easily.

Easy to set up and use.

Soundwise it is very good with nice distinct tones and reasonable bass. Not spectacular but acceptable.

It is actually very well priced considering the quality.

Well this was a surprise. For some reason I was expecting something smaller and a lot lighter. It does come well packaged so when it is out of the box it was still bigger than I expected. I hadn’t either realised that Marley was the famous Marley. Anyway, what you get is a compact but substantial feeling pair of Bluetooth enabled powered speakers in a single cabinet with tweeters, On the top are the controls and around the back the inputs. Its a good job it is a doddle to work because once again, the instructions are on the tiniest font and impossible to read. You can use it while it is charging the batteries from the mains. The charger comes with a set of adaptors for different countries which is useful. The + and – double up in function. Short presses increase/decrease volume, longer presses change tracks. The device talks to you while you are pairing devices which was simple and easy. They have also included a mini jack socket (hurray) so you can us a cable. You can also chain other USB stuff from the back for charging and given that it is portable, this may well be very useful too out of the house.

The main thing is sound. Here it is very good. Solid sounding and you can see the little speakers doing their job. To my ears it has been tuned to make sure there is sufficient bass. It is certainly loud enough. The one thing I would wonder about is protection of the speakers as there is no grill on them. The tweeters do have a cover.

As can be seen, this has a natural wood fascia and there branding on the back also has a wooden insert where it is engraved. When reviewing this, I recalled something I reviewed for Vine ages ago which did a similar job but only worked with Spotify. A mad decision for sure and I don’t know if it is still made. This is about the same price, sounds great and will work with anything. They’ve got this one right.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFrom opening the box this is a brilliant little piece of kit. It comes very well and eco friendly packaged in a quality box and sheathed in a protective little sleeve. It feels quality from the get go and very quickly I managed to get it paired to my Samsung galaxy S6 with zero hassle. I can imagine it would be as easy with any other Bluetooth device.

It comes with a little box with a universal plug and an array of UK and international adapters. A nice touch if you’re jetting off around the world (thinking airline staff who want to take something with them to listen to music on stop overs).

The speaker comes with a very nicely designed USB to mini USB cable with a striped material feel covering that plugs in to the charger but would also fit any other USB device for charging purposes I presume…e.g. you could probably charge it on a laptop or PC if you didn’t have the charger with you.

The speaker arrived charged up and ready to use. So far I’ve had around 2 hours of play out of the battery without recharging.

The speaker itself has a lovely wooden face, exposed speakers and looks great on the sideboard and although it’s got a nice heavy quality feel to it it is quite uninposing and blends in nicely to the room.

Sound wise I’m really impressed. It’s certainly loud enough to fill a decent sized room and packs some pleasing bass. It just sounds really clear and powerful despite being such a small unit.

The controls are simple, give a satisfying click, and are all you’d ever really need. It has an auxiliary out which is headphone-jack-sized and a full USB sized socket so you can plug and charge your other devices.

So much to like about this speaker. Any downsides? Only one I could find. The otherwise handy voice prompts letting you know it is paired or charging are quite loud. Still takes me by surprise every time I fire it up and ‘PAIRED’ blasts out at me in a robotic female voice. This is perhaps something I can adjust… it was so easy to set up without instructions that I overlooked the very small leaflet of instructions!
