Love the remote control to change settings – very useful to alter brightness and other settings. Can switch on/off manually or have it do so on detecting motion via the PIR sensor.
Fitted the light to replace an old hallogen light.. much brighter then the previous light and have remote to adjust the brightness as needed.. motion detection is effective and I enjoy the remote control to change settings from the ground level. Greatest saving is on electricity usage compared to previous light.. I would buy it again and would recommend..
Cable is too short. Needs an extra 2m, if it’s a flood light it needs to be up high! Remote works ok but you need to be close. Doesn’t always work from inside. Good enough.
Arrived the next day easy to put up and connect. First time using remote to setup for outdoor lighting so easy to use,no fiddly little knobs behind the censor and when it’s dark nothing happens ! Now if it’s not exactly what you wanted push button on ( small but neat ) handset and it’s donebrilliant. Would most definitely buy again.

You can dim the light you can turn it on remotely but the lights stays on for a one hour

This is a good & easy to work light. I screwed it up a tree in my garden & without the remote, I’d have to get up a ladder to change settings. As it is, I just click the buttons on the remote & its all set. Very important is the remote,-don’t lose it!
Saying very bright is an understatement it comes with a remote so you can adjust to suit your requirements. For example something at the bottom of my garden (150 mts), increase the brightness and see the bottom of my garden without going outside

After old halogen security light failed I looked at various replacements and this one came up. it’s certainly bright enough and had to dim it so as not to upset the neighbours. I love the fact it has a remote to set it up but can also use it to switch it on constant for when we’re sat out in the garden.sensor good and not too sensitive that the wind sets it off. easy to fit. Would highly recommend.
The security light is large and lightweight, the light covers a good distance and the sensor is excellent with multi directional movement allowing you to cover areas that are needed.
Purchased two lights as replacement lighting for back garden, easy to install,pir really easy to use. Remote control makes setting on lights really easy to install, quality of light from led lights very even.
I have had quite a few Halogen versions of these fittings and they were OK
But this lamp is as they say light years ahead!
It is easy to install , with 3 core lighting cable supply! It is very bright so I reduced the light output how good is that,
Plus the sensitivity is excellent, and the detector can be directed to the most suitable area for maximum efficiency.
There are several settings on this light, that can be selected with a remote control. Brilliant.
Once installed, it’s fantastic. It proved a little tricky to install. Apart from that, it’s great.
Only time will tell how long this or the remote last but I am very happy with it so far.
I mainly use this in the PIR motion detection mode which seems to work great but on occasion have switched it on to provide permanent light whilst out in the garden. The changeable brightness is great as you can adjust it to your needs rather than it blinding everyone.
The only downside I can see (unless I’m wrong) is that the remote is needed to change functions on the light and there are no buttons directly on it and so if the remote does stop working, is lost or runs out of batteries then it will just be stuck in the last mode it was set to.
On the positive side it’s bright and lights my garden which was the reason bought.
The provided cable is short so that could be an issue on certain circumstances.
The assembly is straightforward.
When I turned it on the remote wasn’t responding but it just needed to change mode by on off twice.
The PIR sensor seems good on the high setting and can be set to night mode.
Generally speaking the remote and the options are confusing, but I suppose once set no need to change anything.
Ordered this led security light and it arrived next day, what’s in the box? Security light fully wired up to control panel on light, remote control and instructions. Initial thoughts are that the light is really lite and well constructed with allen key fittings to secure onto wall bracket. 5 mins to install and have fully wired up and working. Remote control is fantastic but really cheaply made and button battery is already installed. Really pleased with it so far and highly recommended.
As I was fitting it as a replacement, I found fitment easy. It was a simple case of swapping out the existing cable from a waterproof junction box and wiring in the new cable, being sure that I had first isolated and turned off connection to the wire, and then commissioning the unit.
Lighting power was as anticipated, so no issues there.
Cssmetically the unit looks fine with the PIR unit having a serviceable range of movement for best positioning, although it will not swivel beyond a certain point due to the design of its holding arm.
A key selling point is it’s remote control function, and thus far it has proved highly useful. The light is prone to being activated by exhaust gases from the central-heating flue due to its location in my back yard, and having the remote has meant that I can easily disable the light at such times, saving money and presumably extending the anticipated working life of the lamp. Using the remote it is easy to adjust the sensitivity of the PIR and to dim the light, to adjust the on/off times and I am very pleased with the product to date.
Great brightness but the PIR detection could be a lot better. I have some smaller solar lights that have a nuch better detection range.
The remote also has a very short range about 20ft maybe but won’t work through my window

This item seems to be robust and well made.
It has an almost frosted glass that removes any harshness to the light.
I put these up during daytime and used the daylight mode to tweak the PIR. No more trying to do this in the dark. I also set the light to its dimmest setting which helped me not getting blinded by its light.
At its dimmest it is still adequate for fitting purposes during daylight.
Once I was satisfied with the PIR positioning, I set up the light using the remote.
I found that at full power, the light was too bright.
I have it set at 2/10 of full power and it is adequate for my use, in pitch black.
The remote, and its handy functions is the way to go.
My only concern is the longevity. Previous LED lights (from different various manufacturers) have lasted only about a year before giving up the ghost.
I will update if I have an issue with its longevity.

Bought to replace an led light that had started to fail. Our light is up high that you cannot adjust it without a ladder. So having the remote is great. It means I can have it set on a lower setting for when it comes on for movement but can turn it on fully and leave it on permanently while doing jobs outside.
So far it’s movement sensor is working fine and the installation was easy.
The remote control is an added bonus, very bright light, good distance coverage, fab light.

This is well made aluminium cased light with the ability to angle the flight on the bracket and lock in position. The PIR likewise tilts certically 90 amd rotates +/-90 horizontally. The PIR has a sensitivity detection range 2m to 10m and can be set to only detect and operate at night or 24hours detection. The sensitivity is either 100% or 50% which is useful to stop pets operating the light. The delay of 10s 1minute or 5minutes are useful and not sure why this wasnt fully adjustable as that would have been easy to do. The remote control is brilliant as you just point it at the light and adjust as necessary. Its fairly intuitive though the instruction guide is only in part translated to English which is a shame for an otherwise stunning product. Water and weatherproof, 30W LED which you can adjust its brightness level, and make all other settings adjustments. I love the light its very bright cool white at 6500K is very clear and can at full brightness deliver 3000LM. Happy to highly recommend, Andrew

I reviewed this before and said the pir did not work, but i did get it working and it is a great light. The problem is most of the instructions are in German,but a bit of trial and error got there
Easy to instal and set up, compact, very thin compared to old one.
Bought as a replacement it was easy to install and is very bright which I wanted. Easy to set up with the remote control and I needed to change the settings a few nights later and it was so easy.
I am extremely pleased with this product. I bought 3 of them for my cottage and now all the land around the house is lit up very well. You can easily control the lights with the remote – leave them on, put them on a timer, dim them if necessary and set them as PIR function for different durations. All the features work well and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Thumbs up!

This product was delivered very well packed and felt well engineered. Best selling points were IP66 rating and remote control for setting up. The provision of a remote is the first time I’ve seen this facility and is great for installations that are not easily accessible. Ideally I should have preferred the nut for attaching the light to the bracket to have been captive so that the latter could more easily be attached independently of the light. Also, although the remote is good it lacks positive feedback for many of the settings so it is difficult to tell whether instructions have been accepted. Those minor issues aside I would definitely buy again.
This unit comes with a decent length of cable for easy connection to power outlet. Bought mostly for use as lighting for a patio that’s away from the main house it has proved to be more than adequate in lighting a fairly large area and being able to choose the brightness via the remote control is brilliant.
I set the sensor so it picks up movement quite far away and has worked well, fox cubs venturing into my garden set it off regularly so it’s good to know it is doing it’s job.
I would buy this light again.

Initially, I expected i need to instsll 2 floodlight: one is just floodlight and the other is light with PIR system. Nevertheless, this Security Floodlight has both lighting and motion sensor.
We were so impressed by how bright and clear the light was, it was easy to install, it comes with a remote so you don’t need to be up and down ladders trying to get the correct light or time, we ended up buying 3 to cover the whole of our property! Absolutely brilliant!

This was a replacement for my existing security light. The existing light was starting to ‘play up’. It would randomly switch on at night and then repeat even five minutes or so even when not triggered by anything moving. Neighbours children were disturbed and were not happy. I replaced said lamp with this new one particularly because it was remotely controlled and would save me shinning up a ladder to adjust etc. It worked very well, adjustable brightness a big plus and now after a few tweeks is working very well every night. A good package, with motion sensor and IR control. To install properly, you’ll need a power drill and raw plugs (screws and raw plugs supplied). You’ll need to wire it into the mains electricity too, so overall this is not a 5 minute install. Once installed, it works well for a budget item. It’s waterpoof and the remote control, from a small handset, works well too.

I bought two of these lights to replace existing 20 year old plus halogen floodlights. The quality of the unit is good with a study bracket, a reasonable length of cable and a nice black finish to the casing. They have been installed over a month now and all is good. The remote control feature is excellent and makes setting up hassle free, no need to get a ladder out to make adjustments.
I purchased this to replace one that had stopped working (not the same model)
It was simple to put up and I liked the idea of the remote to adjust the settings from on the floor rather than fiddling with the unit while on a ladder.

This security light was very easy to install and adjust – in fact easier than any of my previous security lights in this location. The adjustability is excellent and set up simple. I like the remote control feature – it makes things so much easier when you want to change settings. The brightness variability is super, – using this I can avoid dazzling my neighbours. The PIR motion detector works very well – and is also not set off by passing animals! All in all, this superb bit of kit is worth buying and is great value for money. The light from the LEDs is softer than my previous security lights, but is so much better for being so. (When the brightness is turned down). I can recommend this light to all seeking a very good security light with great features and say that I would definitely buy one again.

This is a simple and effective light. The install is a doddle, it has the wires stripped ready to connect to either a plug or a connection block, I’ve gone straight into a wall socket via the outside light ring.
It needs two screws into the wall to fix the bracket and that pretty much does it, the motion sensor and everything else can be controlled by the remote which is handy and beats fiddling around behind the pir sensor.
The remote works when pointed at the light or at least in the general direction from the window and the settings stay put as long as the power supply stays constant.
The light is bright enough to cover a garden easily and I’m pleased with this light.
I can recommend this as a security light or a garden light, I have one on the front and the back now.
Used it outside to light the decking. Everything works well, but would prefer a bit longer cable or an option to easily remove the original one and replace it with custom lenght for better and easier installation.

This wired 30W LED PIR floodlight is ideal for security lighting in built up areas. We’ve installed this at my Mum-in-Laws (MIL) to update her lighting and move from a static switch on/off light with a dim bulb, to this security light version, especially now the nights have drawn in, as we want to keep her safe. My MIL was worried about the light annoying the neighbours, so this 30W version is ideal, not too bright as to dazzle the neighbours snd cause light nuisance, but bright enough to deter ne’er-do-wells and opportunists.
The light is well-made from quality materials, including a tempered glass front panel, aluminium body, and a graphene-coated metal bracket, as well as being waterproof with IP66 certification, so should be able to cope with anything that the British weather throws at it.
I am disappointed with one element though, and that is its energy rating, which disappointingly is a category E, so not as energy efficient to run as I had hoped. You can get similar on the market with an A+ rating or better and I would definitely recommend one of those over this one so loses a star for energy efficiency from me, though good quality light otherwise. 4

This flood light actually offers something i have been looking for some time, having control over light with remote control. It does make life easier so much, no more need for grabbing ladder in order to change settings, when cats trigger light at night excessively, simply grab for remote and turn it off, fast and easy.
Lamp itself arrived with everything you need to fit it on wall and install. Cable long enough to reach junction box, cables already prepared. Light is only 30W but because it is LED it is much brighter and stronger comparing to normal bulb version. Light is more consistent and thanks to special layer of glass it is more diffused which gives nice mild white light.
On lamp or sensor there is no knobs at all, everything happening through remote control. It has 2 big benefits, first of all you don’t need to climb to change them, everything happening from ground, for second because you have remote they could fit much more settings to change such an brightness level, different modes, switch between day and night, sensitivity level, on and off. Light itself work great. Very happy with this flood light.
Being LED at 30w it’s cheap to run. It was easy to wire into my existing security light circuit. It’s simple and a slim design. It’s replacing a similar one that started to flicker after one year of use. I think they’re all similar though.

Realise the cable is too short.

Switch the power back on and test with the remote.

OH YES ~ this is so much easier, try one setting leave it for a few days and then see if you can improve it with a bit of tweaking.

This light came with a remote control including battery, raw plugs & screws, and instructions. It has an attached three-phase power cable, but no plug. This was quite handy, as the wire needed to be threaded through a hole first. The instructions were not great when it came down to the various functions. So a bit of trial and error was needed.
I got this light for my brother-in-law, as his previous one had gone wrong. Setting it up on the side of his shed, so that it would light up his drive, was very easy to do and the light is certainly bright enough to do the job. He is very pleased with it to say the least.
The handy remote allows you to set up the various functions, including timer. PIR, Dusk-to-Dawn, etc. It is quite small and I popped some double sided Velcro on the back, so he can stick it up inside his shed and have easy access to it and not mislay it.
As I have only just put this up for him, it is too early to be able to comment on the medium to long-term reliability of the light.

A decent and well-made light that I have just set up on my porch. The light comes with a remote for easy use too.
Previously, I had to walk in the dark to reach my main door. But now, I can walk easily. This is a motion-sensing light that comes with good-quality motion sensors.
The light is quite bright. I love that the brightness is adjustable too. Moreover, the light is waterproof and doesn’t heat up.

I have put the light on a test bench and I think it works really well.
It is bright and has good cover.

I had hoped to be able to connect it to my existing wiring, but it is a sealed unit so I will have to use the lead it came with. For a new installation you wouldn’t think twice for this.
An affordable LED security light, well constructed in sheet metal and tempered glass. The lamp is mounted on a swivel bracket and the PIR sensor to monitor movement is similarly adjustable, so that you can focus it on where there would most likely be movement.
It arrives with a six foot cable, which could be wired into a plug or more likely a fuse box, and of course which could be easily extended.
There’s also a simple remote, with which you can turn the lamp on and off with and change the settings from. Try not to lose this, as I think it’s a dedicated item and would be difficult to replace.
Altogether a well designed and well made light, good value at the current 20 odd quid.
the motion sensor can be swivelled left and right, ok, but not actually that useful in practise, but what it CANNOT do is swivel up and down, which would be so useful. The light can be mounted and swivelled up and down to adjust its light throw, but in doing so you’re also adjusting the range of the motion sensor as it’s affixed to the bottom of the light, swivel it downwards and so moves your motion sensor, grrrrrrr.
that aside, as a light it’s reasonably bright at 3,000 Lumens (although I received an 8,000 lumen multi coloured remote controlled outdoor light for 30 the other day, although it doesn’t have a motion sensor). So if you’re after a motion sensor light, that has a remote for occasional use then great, but if you’re after a light that you’ll mostly use manually then maybe there’s better options for the price.

Good lamp, no controls on the lamp, use the remote to set it.
This is set only by the remote, so you need a good line of sight when installed and there are no analogue controls on the lamp, this means you cannot visulaize where the settings sit, using the remote needs patience as you need to wait for the lamp to cycle for each setting.
It is bright and capable, good quality light output.

This is a compact but bright and quite well made motion sensing outdoor light. It has a longish lead for fitment, the PIR sensor swivels and the lamp can be swivelled up and down on its bracket. It is IP66 rated so should stand up to the rigours of the weather, but time will tell.
These lamps can run quite hot and this unit has graphene coated (carbon material) heatsinks on the back, but whether this makes a difference I do not
know.
The light can be set to come on for between 10 seconds to 5 minutes in motion detection mode, but can be set to come on for much longer periods of time with the remote, out of PIR mode. There are also 2 sensitivity (range detection) settings. The light has a filter on it to make the light softer, but I am not sure why as its sole purpose is to light things up well.
Now, the remote is a great little thing. Usually with these lights it can often be a bit of a challenge turning the little knobs they have on the underneath, stepping away from the light and waiting for it to come on etc. The remote does away with all of that, it’s a brilliant idea. It also allows you to switch the light on remotely if you want to illuminate the driveway, garden or whatever.
All in all a good lamp and good value as tested @21.99 with a 5 voucher off. Time will tell if it says working being outside all year but I will update this review if, on the off chance, it may fail.

The motion sensor is quite sensitive and is adjustable so you can face it in the best position for detection.

You receive an LED outdoor flood light, which has a bracket which is adjustable tilt down or up.
The quality seems very good, the design is ideal, doesn’t stick out from the wall like the one that these have replaced.
Easy to install, the connect to a standard power supply, Live, neutral and earth, you could wire them to a standard plug if you wished, but I’d recommend they are connected to a fused boxed, the cable isn’t long, however, it’s an easy enough thing to extend the cable if you wished.
Very bright, illuminated the back of the house like I’ve never had before, ideal also in a commercial setting to illuminate a yard or similar.

Via the remote control, you can turn the light on and off as well as change the brightness, on time, whether the light is on all day or just night, the sensitivity of the motion sensor and whether PIR is on or off and the delay time.
It comes with two screws and wall plugs for installation, which was easy enough.
The light is bright in my garden. Great for deterring intruders or providing light when I’m out in the garden at night.
All in all it’s a good security light, although you can definitely find security lights for around half the price without the remote control on Amazon. The price being 29.99 at time of writing.
