Bought together with an oscillating sprinkler to keep the plants on the deck watered while we were on vacation. Worked like a charm. Easy to set up and program. Some concerns about how it would hold up if left in the elements long term, but no complaints so far.
UPDATE: Returned my original unit for a replacement unit and the replacement unit works like a charm. Upgraded the overall rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.
Super easy to install. Super easy to configure the watering program and or have it run manually. However, the unit I bought sometimes doesn’t work. The program starts and/or I start the manual program and I can hear it attempt to do something but it doesn’t do anything. If I start/stop the manual program a few times then sometimes it will send water through. If I turn on/off the water supply to the unit, sometimes that will get the unit to send water through.
I’ve ordered a replacement. If this one works then I’ll readjust my rating.
I had a hard time programming this unit. Finally got it programmed most by accident. That being said it works great. Takes alot off us remembering to watering our garde
So far works great, installed for a chicken watering system, going to add a 4 hose manifold to it to automatically water the dogs and goat. Used inch tubing with a needle valve so I can reduce the amount of water to the chickens and have full flow to the rest of the animals. Probably works good for gardens too.
Exactly what I needed for 12’x7’garden space at my buddy’s place. He’s happy I turned the garden over and planted . Set up allows time away without worrying

This seems to work as advertised. It was easy to program and has large letters so it is nice to use. I like the reliability of it so far.
