I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I am very happy with my purchase. The water from my tap started to smell and taste of chemicals, and tastes so much better from the KFLOW, plus has far less contaminates. The only thing that could be improved is the instructions could be clearer, but I do appreciate the device is made in China, also replacement filters are a bit pricey, but that’s the price you pay for the convenience of a counter top RO water purifier.
I’ve had one of these for over a year now and use it every single day. I make my own beer so use this for the 23 litres of water for each batch too. After 1 year the filters were showing 1 bar left but my TDS meter shows 8 ppm, which is actually less than it was after a month, so it’s got better, not worse! That’s down from 250 ppm for the tap water so I have simply reset the filter monitor and will rely on the TDS meter to tell me when the expensive filters need replacing. They’ve had a LOT of use but are still almost perfect 1 year later!
Can only highly recommend thus product, no idea why others give bad reviews, they must have a dud.
Such a great and responsible company!
The KFLOW interested me because it does not require plumbing in but provides similarly high levels of filtration as you would get in an under sink unit. Although the filter cartridges are not as cheap as the under sink units, the big advantage of the KFLOW is that it only filters the water you need for drinking and so I suspect that in comparison the overall cost of providing filtered drinking water is likely to be the same if not less than an under sink unit and will be much cheaper than buying bottled water.
The machine was easy to set up, the filters are pre installed but are easy to replace with no need for tools. Once you have run the filtration through a few cycles to flush the system out, you get over 1.5 litres of nice tasting highly filtered water in a couple of minutes. The machine only has two buttons one to choose the volume of water required and one to start/stop the filtering process. It also has a simple to read display showing the status of the individual filters and an inbuilt TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) display for both the input and output water so you can see the difference between your unfiltered water and the filtered water.
All in all I am very happy with my purchase and if the filters last as long as advertised I believe this will be a very good buy.
