Edging a narrow border between hedge and kerb. Unable to secure with the spikes as concrete in place behind kerbstones, but the weight of the slate is holding it firmly in place. Note I have sunk it down 3cm. Very pkeased

I needed some edging for a small patch of garden to divide stones and straighten an edge. These are okay. They are flexible as I needed them to be but not great quality. Then again they were not expensive so I can’t complain to much. I needed the edge to be deep enough to hold stones. It seems getting deep edging is not easy but this was about the deepest you can get. The pegs are good.

These are not good if you want to do a straight edge. These are delivered coiled up which makes it impossible to straighten them if required. I’d opt for semi ridged straight section for a good straight edge. That aside, they are okay and importantly have not broken and are still going strong.

    4.0 out of 5 stars Okay…

Good product, easy to use, but not enough pegs for the amount of holes need to hold in place when doing a wavy edge.
People who say they needed a saw to cut… i used small dometic craft scissors to cut it..

4.0 out of 5 stars Not enough pegs

Good product. You get 30 pegs per 10m of the product which is more than enough and the reason I chose this one of other similar ones.

    Good produc

Over the moon with this! We have used it to separate grass from stones and bark chippings. It has worked perfectly and I can confirm that it is extremely strong whilst being flexible enough to do both curved and straight edges. The video advert is true to the product. You get a lot of pegs which are both strong and long. We used a stanley knife to cut it, easily done. You get a good service. This is one you can trust!

Just perfect soft enjoy to make it easy to install and at the same time sturdy snot to keep everything in place, they also send a lot of nails so there is plenty space for mistake xD

    Exactly what I needed

Very easy to use, finishes my garden project nicely, needed something to separate the grass with the gravel path that didn’t stick up making it easy to mow the lawn and not trip over, does the job perfectly

    So easy to use

Too early to give a proper rating as you don’t know how hard wearing it will be in, say, a year’s time. But I’m pleased so far. Easy to cut to length (I used a Stanley knife), and the spikes are surprisingly good and strong, no problems hammering them into compacted ground. Of course the best thing about this edging is no digging required. Only minor criticism is it is quite expensive, which prevents me giving it 5 out of 5.

Nothing to dislike. I had hard ground and hammered the stakes in with no problem. The trim is very robust. All just what I wanted. Hope this helps.

It’s impossible to cut without a Dremmel or hacksaw, it determinedly curls up as you try to install it and needs more pegs than are supplied- order an extra pack of round headed pegs – they’re easier to hammer in. It does a brilliant job of edging lawns, it’s strong ( I stood on it by accident and there was no damage) and it makes mowing the lawn easier plus edges don’t collapse so flower beds don’t need to be enlarged to tidy them up.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe dying strip is Quite robust and flexible, however the pegs need to be sturdier as they ready kink and bend when coming into hard ground. Nonetheless a good product at a sensible price. Delivery was excellent.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNeeded to edge a patio so that there is a thin border of stones between the patio and grass. This product does the job well, keeps the stones in and finishes off the patio. I laid it so that it is level between the two so it can’t be seen much but I have seen people use it so it sticks up. It is strong plastic and you lay it flat and hammer in the pegs provided. A few pegs didn’t make it on my stoney soil but most were fine.
I have more to do and will buy this again. Delivery was a few days and it came packed well. It is coiled up so suggest you cut the length you need rather than wrestle with the big coil.
