I very much rate this camera the view is excellent day and night. I have it on my window to keep an eye on the front of the house and it’s doing a great job.
The only problem I am having it keeps going off line every other week not sure why it does this.
If it carries on I may have to contact the manufacturer about it.
Easy to install. Works with Alexa and on fire tv. You just ask alexa to show you camera and does it straight away. Got to be near a plug. Better if it was wire less. Connects good to virgin media internet. Pretty good so far. Night vision is very good. So is motion detection and picture quality good. Love the two way convo. Excellent product. I’ve bought 3 cameras now with netvue. All good, app is good and so easy to use. Brill cameras
Amazing little camera. Bought for my daughters house to check the pup! Ideal and so easy to install and use. Like the idea of being able to move the camera to check on him. Only downside. He knows we’re watching if we move to find him as it much make a noise as he always looks

Easy to setup as long as you say no to the question are you using 5ghz Wi-Fi, it works on 2.5 and will not setup if you don’t do this.
For the price don’t think you can go wrong so would be happy to recommend if asked.
This is my first of the mini orb and can say that it stacks up well against the bigger orb camera. Found it as always easy to setup as with the other NetVue cameras I have. The doing quality on the mini orb does seem clearer than that of the big orb I have.
The technology your getting for the money is incredible, full pan and tilt, nightvision and 2way sound for 23.
I must also mention the app which is easy to use, and support is always prompt if you have a query

This is my 5th Netvue Camera. I keep saying that I’m going to buy a proper CCTV system, but I find Netvue setup very convenient and easy to do, while proper systems require a lot of space, effort to setup, drilling, passing wires and so on. Microusb power means I can connect it to my usb wall socket very easily and no wires running, I just pass thin microusb cable under the carpet.
Its not perfect, but it is very good value for money especially compared to other Chinese brands that have crappy generic apps. The Netvue app is very good compared to its competitors and updated regularly.
The pan and tilt is very good on this device and actually looks really really decent.
WOW. I was about to buy the more expensive baby monitor (eufy) for 160 and thought i would purchase this for the time being. However, when i used it for the first time i was blown away by the day and night quality of this camera. This is BETTER than most dedicated baby monitors out there trust me! We have now decided that this is all we need. The fact that it works with Alexa too is fantastic. I can view via the fire stick on my TV as well as my echo show 8. Amazing! I will be buying more of these camera to put around the house
Bought this to use as a pet monitor. Being able to connect remotely and scan the room lets me know my pet is safe.
Picture quality is decent HD
Night vision works well (black and white as expected but its invisible when on.

My hope was to put this camera up high so it was out of reach and be able to scan the room. However the downward viewangle is barely below horizontal. I can guide it to stare at the ceiling if I want but I can’t point it at the floor unless I create a ramp to sit it on.
I bought the camera to check on my dog while I’m out. But besides that, it serves as well as a security camera! I already want to buy one to outside my house!
The camera has a really good image both day and night.
The online support is very efficient, when I needed help, (I didn’t search on the app and I couldn’t share access to the camera), they promptly helped me to solve this!
I highly recommend it and it is worth the price it costs!
The camera was delivered quickly. The setup was easy and even though i couldnt get the QR code to work when setting it up there was an easy alternative which i used that worked the same.
Very impressed with the quality of the camera for the short time i’ve been playing with it.
This is the second netvue camera i have bought and the quality of video and the easy stress free set up for a person with little wifi knowledge makes it a must when buying wifi cameras. I would recommend this camera and will definitely buy again.

This is my fourth camera. I use 2 indoors and 2 outdoors. When watching the live stream the picture is very good, the audio is rather garbled and has a lot of background noise (wind, etc) if used outdoors.
Where it loses a star is for the snippets that it captures – it sometimes misses sections of motion that could render it not doing its job if that vital time window you needed was not captured.
I read a review whereby another user had said the motion alarm clips used to work just fine but that must have been over a year ago as that’s when I got my first one and it’s always had this niggle, and so have my subsequent models.
Night vision is excellent and for 20 you really get a lot for your money. I have not used the subscription service so cannot comment on that, but the Netvue app is very handy and easily accessed.
The Netvue Camera is easy to install and offers very good performances despite its price is quite reasonable. Night vision works quite well, and programmable motion detection zones offer the opportunity to implement an effective indoor surveillance system to monitor your property while you are not there.
We bought Netvue security camera as a baby monitor after being frustrated with ArloBaby monitor as Arlo was failing to reliably show on Alexa Echo Show device despite a 5 second lag.
Netvue on the other hand shows a clear HD video with minimal lag and reliable Alexa compatibility. We also like the 128GB local SD storage (not included in price) that can store nearly 2 weeks of continuous video that you can scroll back to view, export to your smart phone. The iOS app is easy to use and cloud viewing remotely in 4G isn’t bad but WiFi is better. The remote pan, tilt and zoom is also practical, but can be loud if your baby isn’t expecting this.
The only downsides are
1. A bit bulky compared to other non-tilt, zoom, cameras. Not as cute but very functional!
2. Downward view from a platform mount is limited, so you need to mount it upside down to get the best view, so will need a bit of DIY to fix it to a higher view point.
3. Netvue does a fair bit cross-selling when you sign up to the app, so be sure to opt-out of marketing.
Overall a good security camera for the price & beats Arlo Baby in performance.
I have four of these now and use them for home security, monitoring pets when I’m not home and for keeping an eye on my disabled mother so she can have independence in her own home with safety of knowing I can see if she falls. This has happened and she was reassured to hear me through the camera telling her I was on my way to help her up.
Dead easy to setup with simple instructions and when you add cameras they are all in the same app and easy to control.
This is my second one of these indoor cameras. The first is still going strong after over a years use, but I wanted one for another area. The picture quality is stunning and you can zoom right in if needed. The camera rotates all the way around the room, using the touch screen app on my phone. It is a little clunky using the touchscreen, but it works pretty well. The night vision is so good you don’t realise the lights have actually gone off. It might be worth noting the clarity of picture from this camera is better than with the echo shows.
The audio is a little rough, but I can clearly here sound. However, the talking quality is seriously lacking with a lot of lag, but as I only use this as a camera, not to have two way conversations, that doesn’t bother me. They are super easy to install with the app and the app is extremely reliable. They sync with Alexa, so I can view the cameras on my smart tv or echo show in another location. There is more buffing using these devices, but it works for a quick check in.
I do not subscribe to the cloud service so can’t comment on that. Mine are used for live feed only and I have motion detection off, but you can add a micro sd card if you don’t want the cloud. When I had the motion detection on I was getting frequent pings with pictures, as expected.
I really cant believe the quality at this price, and have to wonder what extra you get for cameras that are five times more expensive ?!? I highly recommend.
I got this as an indoor monitor.It works fine with my three Echo Shows around the house. With the Echo I can’t pan/tilt/zoom but I think those features are available via phone or tables operation.
The picture quality is good but I’ve not used the motion detection feature yet.
My only gripe with the camera is that i wish you could tilt the camera down beyond it standard setting. You have full 180 degree control left to right and can tilt up at 90 degrees so i can see my ceiling but unable to tilt downwards to any degree? I don’t want to have to fit it to my ceiling as would stand out too much for my liking. i have set it up on top of my fridge freezer and covers the doors for security but ideally would like to pan down so i can see my dog when not at home. The talk function is a little hit and miss but been having a few issues with internet recently so imagine that’s the reason. Picture quality is great, motion sensors work and night vision is also good. Would give it 5 stars if wasn’t for my minor gripes
We were skeptical about this due to the price but received it today and have put it up in our daughters room. Our daughter has medical issues and has recently started sleep all night in her own room so this gives us access to be able to check on her without running up and down the stairs and also means I will be able to get a little sleep.
The night vision quality is great, it was super easy to put on the wall. The app is really easy to use and it was simple to connect to our internet!!
Would 100% recommend this item we are now buying another for our sons room!
We have 4 our these products, we find them very good value for money, sturdy with a quality feel about them, easy set up, very good customer support and comms, the software is good and easy to use, but most of all the picture is excellent.
The alerts work well and are fairly prompt, its nice to have the option of using a memory card or cloud based recording.

I had ordered it long back and the delivery on prime was pretty quick. However, I totally forgot to set it up.
I tried to setup today and must admit that the setup doesn’t require any rocket science. Every step is summarized into a QR code. You download the app from QR code provided in the leaflet. Once installed, scan the QR code tagged on the cam body. That’s it, rest all is just automated process.

Video quality is decent. I haven’t tried the night vision yet. Will post an update only if the night vision performance is not great. Else, take it as a good performance.
The motion detection was crisp. It seems to have recorded my motions while installing it and notified me on the app. That just sounds great.
Cons:
I am an Engineer myself and generally like to get handle of the settings. I did not get to the webadmin page of the device to figure out the iPhone settings and few other stuffs. I would have liked to use this same device as a webcam for my computer, however there isn’t any access to fiddle around with the settings.
Also, its bound to 2.4 ghz. These days, there are hardly any devices that don’t support 5 ghz wifi. Ensure your wifi router has 2.4ghz wifi, else this device will not work.
Rest, I am pretty impressed with the stuff so far. Just need to setup a cloud recording, and I will be all set for this

I have been using this camera for a few days now and to say I’m impressed is an understatement. Setup was very quick and easy. Picture quality is amazing especially for the price point of this camera. Night vision works perfectly. And the pan/tilt feature works flawlessly. In fact I have just ordered 2 more of these Netvue cameras I’m that impressed.
I did have Internet connectivity issues with this one. I spoke to Anna at Netvue customer care. Excellent service, tried to fix remotely. Couldn’t so they sent me a new unit (came via amazon) which worked perfectly. Great support on a great product.
Nice little camera with the features it has onboard. Setup was quick and quality picture through the app. Inserted a SD card and now have storage onboard.
Downside ! – if unplug and want to reposition the camera it then seems to loose connection to account/app. Maybe just me but that’s only probelm I’ve had.
Top item and cant wait till I purchase an echo show to link these items up.
I already own one of these in black but was pleased to be able to purchase one in white for a different room. I like how you can eliminate certain areas for motion detection. Simple to use, just took a little patience to set up.
To be honest for the price Was not expecting much it was purchased as a security device for my mother in law who is on her own.It.They arrived on time so opened them upend before doing any mounting Igot the firs one working within half an hour and I am not really into this sort of thing.Well no2 was a piece of cake every feature worked well. the night vision and motion detector all good .For mounting them you get a templet to help with this.so two cameras now up and running happy days.Should be ten star ratting
Got 3 of these which pretty much cover the whole downstairs and garden. Buying one lead to buying 3 as was so impressed.
Ideal for us having a child with Autism and the motion detection informing us where she’s sneaking off to.

Bought 2 of these cameras so that we could keep an eye on our dogs when we are out of the house. The picture quality is amazing both in daylight and when using night vision – very clear and sharp. The pan and tilt feature works well and the motion detection can be dialled down so i’m not being alerted every 5 seconds. Will buy another in the future and likely the outdoor camera if the picture quality is as good as on these
Good picture quality, and controlling the camera via the app (+ speaker) works well. Set-up instructions were easy to understand (although it took me a couple of times to set up the app). The wall mount is functional, although could be sturdier/ made out of better material.
Worth the money, and I am considering buying a second.
TL:DR – Awesome and nicely priced security camera! Camera and app works well but has a few kinks, nothing game breaking and easy to get round! Netvue customer support is also really awesome!
– I have a Vigil Camera from Netvue and was impressed. So felt confident this would be just as good.
– Got 2 Netvue Eggs
– Setup took less than 5 minutes for each.
– One egg was on a Network Repeater while another connected to the actual modems router
– You have to have a 2.4ghz wifi available on your modem, otherwise you will have problems trying to set this up and won’t be able to get it working.
– The app works really well and switching from Day to Night vision is solid.
– I have an SD card inserted and the video records and plays back fine!
– I haven’t used the cloud services but you get given a free trail after setting up for the first time.
I did have a problem with one of the Eggs after some time, I contacted Netvue Support and they sorted it out very quickly and were very nice about the situation. They gave me a replacement Egg which has been working perfectly since.
Having just bought the NetVue Orb Cam I feel I have discovered a slight limit to the scanning ability. I placed the camera on the shelf, out of the way, for it to view the front room. It can scan left, right and up. However, it won’t go down. So I can get a great view of the ceiling but not the floor where children may be crawling, not that I have any. It would just be nice to have a better view of the front room.
The other issue is latency (the time between asking it to do something, like scan right and the time before it does this). It’s a couple of seconds. Not terrible just noticeable.
Over all I like the product and very happy with it. It just a couple of niggles.
Brilliant value for the price… this is a fantastic camera and very easy to set up. With the app easy to download and navigate I had this camera up and running in a matter of minutes. I even got it linked to my alexa so with one command I can see my kitchen on my echo show.
The cable provided with the unit had a fault from unboxing, but after speaking to customer service I had a replacement through the door within two days with no hassle. Fantastic customer service response time and very helpful

The sound is also very good and when you want to speak all you need to do is press and hold the microphone icon.
Collective setup is that good we have changed all our previous Camera’s from 3 different brands to NetVue.
Didn’t think for the price it would be as good as it said on the tin but I am glad that I thought wrong.
Does the job really well, would only wish for improvement on the motion detect as it can pick up the slightest of things often whilst rarely not detecting larger activity.

Bought on a flash sale so was great price and came super fast. It is being used for security purposes. Not yet fully tested all the features but appears to be working well. Initial setting up was a little slow because it said that it could not find the network but after a few tries it was ok. I get the feelng that the picture image could be a little sharper – not sure if there is any focus on the lens and perhaps not so good in low light during the day but night vision is good. Audio is much better than other cameras that I have used. Despite recent negative reviews for the Netvue app my Samsung S9 works perfectly with it, as does Alexa Show. Very pleased with it.
They is a really excellent product that enables us to see what our dogs are doing, even when we are abroad.

Really clear picture, with good night vision. Bit of a give away if you want a discreet camera as the lens has a ring of infrared lights around it, which light up at night.
The App works well on your phone and is easy to set up, with notifications when there is any movement, This can be turned on and off and set for time periods. You do need to subscribe for this service though… (a free 10 day period is given upon registration)
With out the registration, you just get to view live with the app and record to memory card when movement is detected.
All in all a very good product.
Good camera at a great price. Motion detection is good, however, there are some times when it has missed detecting a motion. Camera quality is good but can be better. Night vision is surprisingly clear. Once motion is detected it takes a while for you to view the recording. The monthly subscription price plans are somewhat complicated and confusing.
We love this camera. We have one for both our children. It’s easy to use and I can access the cameras from work as I’m away a few days a week. The camera is great quality and motion sensor is great to get us know when our baby is on the move.
To see the dog in her bed or to see the floor area, the camera needs to be set on a slope. It would be useful to be able to extend the angle downwards. Otherwise a very good piece of kit.
Very good especially for the price. Retrieving video footage from the SD is not easy. Took footage of the dog sleeping at home and wanted to share. If isn’t easy.
Good cameras, night vision is good, motion sensor is OK. has a delay of 3-5 seconds depending on what type of device you are using to view the cameras. Would have hot 5 stars if it had a multi screen view app so I could view all cameras simultaneously as I bought 3 of these and wanted to buy more but as its not got this function I will stick with 3.
Fantastic product, well built and very easy to connect/use… I currently have another camera system in place called NEOS of which I use internally, however, they don’t sell outdoor cameras, therefore I purchased the NetVue Vigil Outdoor Camera and because that was so good – I’ve continued to buy NetVues internal security cameras. The only downside to this camera, there’s no ethernet port so only uses WiFi but it turns 360* which is awesome.
The notifications are so instant and can be configured to certain times of the day (if not set, by default it’s 24/7)
along with zones/areas within the camera that you can monitor/toggle on and off.
The motion tracking, AI motion-video and 24/7 continuous recording are all extra paid features!
he night vision leaves a little to be desired,only when there is contrasting light ie. when back light comes through the window from the street lamp. the motion detection is incredibly sensitive and the picture quality is superb. all in all great product and excellent value for money.
This is now the 3rd Netvue Camera I have ordered in a week after good experience with 1st Outdoor Unit – I now have Front, Rear and Inside of the House all covered – easy to set up using the IOS App and the Barcode on the the Camera. All good and can now remotely move the camera around (left/right/up/down) from the Phone/iPads. Good visuals – All happy..

I bought cameras from different suppliers in the past, and this camera is by far the most straight forward to setup and use. The Cloud subscription option is something to consider for those wanting simplicity when checking alerts.

This is just what we need. An affordable WiFi security camera, that delivers amazing video quality. I installed this in our kitchen to dog sit our new puppy, whilst we are out of the house. It has given us peace of mind , that we can keep an eye on what’s going on at home, anywhere with our mobile device. I would highly recommend this product.
This camera was easy to set up and runs from mains power or usb via a desktop or laptop which makes it very mobile. The images on my iphone are surprisingly good and it covers a wide angle. The night light adequately luminates my lounge, etc. I mainly use it to view the front of my property from my lounge. I can see images and oerate the camera from wherever I happen to be. You can even record stills or video to the micro sd card. It is surprisingly good for the price.
I bought this product after being recommended by a few mummy friends. Honestly it is absolutely fab especially for the price! The camera can be mounted to a wall or in my case, mounted to my baby’s cot. It literally took less than 1 minute to mount the camera and under 5 minutes to download the app and connect the camera! The picture quality in both day and night vision are excellent and the audio is very clear. It also has the option to speak to your child through the app which I think will become super handy.
The only 1 thing I would like to see improved would be the connection to Alexa. There is currently only a few functions that you can ask Alexa and I feel if this was increased to match all the functions available this would be even better!
I had a few issues with this camera at the beginning but the costumer service try the best to solve the issue but was impossible amazon, send me another one instead. It fine.
Decided to buy 2 of these to keep an eye on my new kittens. Superb cameras. I’d advise wall mounting them upside down as they don’t tilt below level when placed on a surface. Theres an option to rotate the video 180 in the app.
Only slight issue I had was the mounting bracket as the bolt that screws through the mount and into the camera is quite short and will take a few attempts.
Despite the mount issue I really can’t fault them. Cameras are nice and quiet when being moved, the night vision is pretty good and switches between night and day really fast. You can even opt to turn off the green status light. Adding multiple cameras on the app is an absolute doddle. Scan 2 QR codes and enter your wifi password. Its as simple as that. I’ll more than likely be ordering a few more of these as they are so easy to set up and use.
I received my Netvue 1080P WiFi Orb Security Camera, only a day after ordering it. I bought the camera to install it in my dad’s lounge (with his permission) so that I can check up on him, as he hasn’t been answering the phone recently when me and my sisters have been calling him on the phone. I set the camera up yesterday after familiarising myself with it at home. It was very easy to setup. With the Netvue app I will be able to share the camera view with both my sisters, which will give us all peace of mind
I originally got this camera as a ‘pet cam’ and was not really expecting much ..if I was honest.
I received the camera on time but was concerned as the box wasn’t sealed (everything was there and worked)
I followed the instructions and the app and camera was up and running in no time.
If I had one gripe the SD card took ages to format in the camera ..my advice be patient.
I was surprised the camera had good picture quality and the app controlled the camera well (zoom , pan..etc)

I bought 2 as a cheap CCTV for a new housebuild i’m doing, the quality of product and the package make you think you’ve bought a high end camera.
The APP is straight forward, easy to use . When doing this initial set up it is slightly slower in connecting to servers than you’d expect… not that it matters, but just makes you wonder if anything is actually happening.
The quality of pic is average (not brill but fit for purpose) at this price its a winner.
I placed my order for the Netvue Orb Camera via Amazon on 9th Jan and received the product the next day. This is the second camera I have ordered in order to check my pets whilst they are on their own and for security reasons. The camera is very simple to set up, only taking me 5 minutes at the most, the picture quality is excellent (even I the dark). I can highly recommend this product and would give it 5 out 5 for both quickness of delivery, ease to set up and quality of the picture.
I am very happy with this product that my wife brought me, it was easy to install and to connect to wifi was very easy, the quality is excellent especially for the price, we now have two of these cameras, the only downside is if you want remote 24/7 recording using there icloud it cost $69.99 a year, so where i have two and wanted more the cost is high, i probably wont be buying anymore simply because of this reaso
The picture for daytime and nigh time is very good quality. We use it in the nursery and our living room and in pitch black the night vision is excellent. It is convenient as it can link to your phone when you are out of the house and you can set up motion detection alerts which is useful while you are on holiday. The only down sides is that after a few minutes the picture can get stuck sometimes while viewing through the app on the phone and need to restart the app in order to view it again. It is easy enough to set up with Amazon Alexa Show however it has issues often with buffering and needs to be restarted even more often than the phone. Overall good product for the price to check up on a room or nursery however if you are using it to watch continuously than i would suggest getting a actual camera baby monitor.
Really like this, easier than easy to connect, great picture both day and night. I was worried about some of the reviews saying it loses connection but other than once in the first night I had it it’s stayed connected all of the time. Bit difficult to speak through sometimes as it’s quite jumpy but that’s possibly down to 4g connection when I’m out and about.
No free cloud but I’m using an SD card and more for monitoring than recording so hopefully won’t need the cloud. Definitely recommend
Having previously bought one of Netvue’s Vigil Outdoor camera’s, I had high expectations of what to expect from this Orb cam. I have to say I was not disappointed.
This one I intend to use to keep an eye, (and ear!), on my 3D printer, but when setting up, I couldn’t resist trying it out through the living room window!
Setup time was roughly the same as before, 5-10 mins, and it was up and running.
For storage I opted again for a micro SD card, although I have since found out that I can not take the card out and transfer the footage directly to PC, it has to be saved from the camera via the app, then downloaded from phone to PC! Not sure why Netvue has done it like that – surely it would’ve been easier to just remove the card and directly transfer that way? (this seems to apply for other Netvue cam’s too)
It has a wide range of all 4 axis movement allowing coverage of the entire room when placed in one corner. It also has an impressive zoom feature for such a small camera.
Night vision, as appears to be the standard, is top notch on Netvue cam’s.
I also like the fact that it picks up sound clearly as I will be able to hear, as well as see, how my print is progressing.
It was easy to set up and after I installed the app on my android phone it was very easy to log in and keep an eye on the pooches. You can pan around the room too. It’s portable so you can move it to wherever you want. Well worth the money!
Perfect for use as a baby monitor or simple home security camera.
Can be a delay depending on network and what you are viewing the camera on (Echo Show for example has an 8 sec delay whereas mobile phones are around 2 seconds).
Simple to setup and easy to use. Only criticism would be lack of 5g wifi support and the speaker is not always clear.
This camera is perfect for indoors to be able to check on our dog throughout the day. It has very clear picture and sounds quality. Set up is quick and easy (we did have to go through this twice as but didn’t bother us). You can share the camera with as many people as you like, so anyone in the house can check it while they are out. Would definitely recommend for anyone who has animals and wants to keep an eye on them!
I love the ability to look around my through lounge to see what the kids are upto, and giving them reminders to get off the TV or start tidying up! The audio is very clear and loud when coming through the camera speakers, however the microphone can be better. Sound is clear enough if within 2 meters or so. You get full 360 view which is great, however it would have been better if it had full 360 rotation for a more convenient viweing experience, but certainly not a big issue at all. The app is simple enough and easy to use. Micro SD card slot allows for continuous recording, however playback of footage is little annoying as there is no speed up or continuous slider feature to easily scroll through timeline. Having said that you can adjust the slider to scroll in 1 minute to 2 hour intervals, which helps a little. When playing back footage from SD card No problems in using the app to rotate the camera from wherever I am. Motion detection work very well, not overly sensitive or dull, just right BUT ceases to work if you setup the motion time zone in the app which is a great shame. It would have been good to have a longer cable supplied to have a bit more freedom of movement, 2M is not enough cable from the ceiling to a power socket. The video quality is good enough but just isn’t 1080P as advertised. Both daytime and night vision are good.
My experience with Customer service has been slow and poor in general. Technical department seem to only point me to common sense resolution and information giving, none of which has been helpful in the least bit. After many days of chasing for a resolution with one of the cameras, they eventually replaced it.
All in all this is a good product and i am happy with it.
Excellent camera. Easy to set up. Control everything with the ap on your phone. You can move the camera around, listen, speak, take snapshots, save vids… The motion detection thing is cool too, it sends a notification to your phone so you can rush home and break the burglars legs, or call the cops on them if you’d rather. But yes, brilliant camera for extra peace of mind. I recommend you get one.
Fantastic product, would highly recommended, picture quality is incredible, zoom is amazing, night vision is incredibly clear, speakers are fantastic very clear, product and app are very easily to use and control, the ability to check in and control the product from your device from anywhere and get notified of any movement straight to your device is both very useful and amazing and best of all the product doesn’t use a lot of power and is extremely easily to install and set up
When it arrived the box amazon box was fine but the camera box inside was dented. Some of the internal packagings were screwed up so I think I may have been given a returned camera. Considering that, I have had no issues. It has been extremely easy to set up, It was slightly annoying that it didn’t like my wifi initially but it sorted itself out (i still have no idea why that was). It’s easy to work the app. I would definitely recommend
It’s a good camera but don’t expect the same quality as your phone camera. Also, the human detection is not very good as it’s triggered by my cat. The cam is easy to use, the app freezes sometimes but it’s easily fixed by restarting it.
I love cameras for security and watching my dog whilst away. I have them from the basic Clever Dog to a Hive one – so 20 to 200 price range. The Netvue is my new favourite. It is the only one of the three with tilt and pan (360 degree!). And with a cost of little more than the Clever Dog I am replacing them with this and now have three. Also intending one instead of a Ring one at the door.
They are bigger and less discreet than the others but I like their design. The Hive has the free one day storage advantage, but will install a memory card on the Netvue to cover this.
Now onto 4th Netvue indoor camera first two the Netvue Home Cams which are excellent, set up to monitor our New Springer Spanial! They where so good I decided to purchase another two this time i went for the Netvue Orb Cam with more control from app. With 360 swizzle and up and down tilt. Once set up they are the better type to purchase. Hint I have BT duel band broadband to save time log on to 192.168.l.254 and switch off 5 GHz and only broadcast 2.4 GHz to add new Netvue cameras, I found I had failure with QR barcode reading on iPhone after broadband password was entered but on the iPad the QR barcode worked first time and camera went to binding to app without problem. I’ve bought several of these cameras, and for the price, they’re truly very good. I use these predominantly for watching my dogs, to ensure they’re not terrorising anyone on the street outside, or the village, or basically anyone in the universe. They’ve helped me also catch many a funny moment, where my dog has been peeing on the floor or humping pillows or ripping up my amazon parcels. 10/10 for the cameras, 1/10 for realising my dogs aren’t very well behaved.
OK i set this up two weeks ago and moved it to different areas of the house to see the quality of reception. Wherever it was placed the signal was strong and picture and sound quality was first class. I am female and even i found setting this up was so easy i’m sure a child could do it.Good price for a quality item and fast secure delivery from amazon.
These cameras are excellent!! I did lots of research before buying this and they had good reviews. I thought well if it didn’t work it wasn’t that expensive. I have to say I am so pleased with this! The ORB is my favourite as you can turn the camera to view the entire room/area. The motion detection is brilliant and responsive. So easy to set up and the quality is brilliant. Far superior to the Ezviz ones I have used. Much more responsive and easy to set up and WAY CHEAPER! You do have to put an SD card in to record or sign up for the cloud storage but realistically if you were to pay for expensive CCTV cameras you would have to pay a lot of money for this anyway so in reality the cloud really isn’t that bad. You also have to pay for cloud for each individual camera. Hopefully soon they will set up a multiple device cloud storage purchase. As soon as they do this I will be buying! You can view the cameras live without signing up to any storage or buying an SD card from the app but you wont be able to record the footage so bare this in mind. Gives me peace of mind when I’m not home and now I wouldn’t be without them. The only reason I give this 4 stars is because of the storage issue with multiple devices not being available.
We started out with the smaller version of this, which is slightly cheaper, but this one is definitely worth the price difference! We use it to look after a pretty large double reception area and it covers it completely through a wide lens and tilting.
You can record by either getting a memory card or paying for the cloud service. However, even if you choose not to, when motion sensors are activated (really easily activated and deactivated from your phone and you get push notifications to it when motion is detected), it automatically records a few short videos of what’s going on. Motion detection is great and you can adjust its sensitivity -we have it at the highest for our toddler’s bedroom at night and lowest for living room, for example.
Night vision is top notch, video quality 1080P HD. And, bonus, there is two way audio (so I can tell my toddler lie right back down when he’s trying to avoid sleep without having to come upstairs).
They really thought this through!
You can share permissions via the App, and it allows multiple users to watch video online at the same time.

The camera is very good quality, especially the night vision which works well in complete darkness. Two way communication is ok maybe my internet connection is affecting it.
Up and connected in 10 minutes. Netvue app is easy to follow with a clear setup walk through. Day time picture quality is excellent and Night vision is also very clear. This is my first Netvue Camera and may not be the last. Very happy.
I have recently bought three of these cameras which includes the out door model. They are extremely well built and great value for money. The quality of the cameras are far superior to a more expensive brand I already own. Although there is no optical zoom facility, pinching in on the screen brings up an enlarged image which is very clear. To sum up I intent to purchase more of these cameras and would highly recommend Netvue as a top brand in its field
Really easy to set up and operate, PTZ, motion alerts, plus only 28 on a lightning deal. Excellent HD video day and night. Only downside is that motion alerts are at 5 min intervals and doesn’t detect audio without motion (i.e. a baby crying). For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend it as a baby monitor, but as a Security camera, it is excellent.

A little tricky to set up as you need to hold your phone a particular distance from the camera and keep the phone very steady so that the “set up code” can be read.
In addition, when-ever there is a firmware update. It will disable the camera. So if you are not local to access your camera, this can be a major draw back!
WiFi on and working but this camera continually disconnects ( running latest firmware). Therefore in my view it is unreliable. Dropped 1 star. However – good quality
i have to say at the price its at its a bargain no complaints very easy to setup and follow instructions excellent quality on the video and the motion detector works like a charm overall imm very pleased with this item
We are very pleased with this camera which we use as a baby monitoring camera. The app is very intuitive and the installation went smoothly.
Before buying I did a little research on the internet and this was the best camera we could find that would work easily and that offers audio 2 way communication as well as great picture quality. The installation took about 5 minutes and the camera works flawlessly for about 2 weeks now.
We use this to watch and interact with our lovely little dogs whilst at work, we can talk to them to reassure them if they appear to be restless. Good picture day or night and being able to move it remotely is one of the main reason we chose this one. Overall a great product. Recommended!
Great camera and easy to set up, picture quality better than I thought, not sure about audio as there seems to be some latency in the signal and quality a tad impaired but this outweighed by the functions, especially with Alexa.
Would like to be able to see images etc on my computer but save that for another day.
This is an easy to set up device, and the combination of a sleep setting and the ability to set motion-tracking schedules is useful. The view is easily accessed remotely on your phone, and once I also picked up the subscription for 24/7 recording (when not in sleep mode) playback was also great to have. I have it covering an entire room form one angle so don’t need to use the remote panning capabiltities too much, but they are pretty fun to play with anyway. Access to the microphone and speakers remotely is also useful.
The motion detection is good – although I’ve got a little close to the camera a few times before it triggered – but the sensitivity can be dialled up and I’ve not gone to maximum settings yet. It did pick up a moth flying in the unlit room at night though, so it’s certainly not poor! With my Alexa chiming out to say motion sensor triggered, and the alert on my phone right away, an intruder will quickly know they are busted.
Minor tweak I’d suggest is the ability to switch motion tracking on and off, as well as sleep mode, from buttons on the app home screen, rather than in the menus. But it’s not hard either way, thats just a minor quality of life improvement. Being able to arm the camera by voice through Alexa as you leave is a nice touch. Can understand why it’s not possible to disarm the same way – wouldn’t want an intruder just to switch the camera off with their voice!
This camera was purchased to check up on our dog when he is left alone. It was a replacement for a similar camera which had broken. This is a huge improvement! The picture quality is amazing and being able to pan around most of the room is also very helpful. We aren’t currently using the motion detection feature so I can’t comment on that, although we did test it briefly and it seemed to work fine. If you do use this, you can record footage to either your own SD cars or to a payable cloud storage. Set up was pretty easy and although I had a little problem (not the fault of the cam) I was really happy with the excellent live chat service I used to help me quickly sort it! It’s very useful to be able to easily turn off the cam or even set a sleep schedule too. All in all an excellent camera which has given us peace of mind.
Was looking for a doorbell cam and spotted the range of products by Netvue. This is the first product I have bought from this manufacturer but I am impressed with the features it offers. It was simple to setup although linking with Alexa took a little more time and a YouTube video to work out!
It works really well, has fantastic picture quality even in total darkness and being able to check on security when away from home is a great bonus. The record facility on an sd card means you need never miss any event. Alexa notifies you if motion is detected and you can see the picture on an Echo show.
In short, this is an impressive piece of kit and we are planning to buy more products from Netvue including the doorbell! The price is very competitive and I cannot find any fault with this little device – highly recommended.
This is my fourth Netvue camera but the first with an ability to control the viewpoint remotely. This feature makes the camera even more versatile while retaining the other motion detection features and remote notification of alarms. One downside is that the micro SD card recording doesn’t give you a video of the alarm, just a snapshot. Video is recorded on the cloud based recording system provided by Netvue but it would be good to have this feature on the internal recoding system as well.
I set up this little beauty in about 10mins.It comes well packaged with simple instructions. setting up via the NetView app is fairly strait forward.I use it as a surveilance camera on to a back yard. The IR lights can be switched off via the app,this is necessary for viewing from inside a window out,as the IR will reflect off the glass. The picture quality is outstanding and if you wish to use motion detection you can pinpoint the areas you wish to cover only.
I put a 64GB card in to try first. Then I may increase this to 128GB (max). Connects easily with Alexa.(Remember to enable the skill first).

I very much rate this camera the view is excellent day and night. I have it on my window to keep an eye on the front of the house and it’s doing a great job.
The only problem I am having it keeps going off line every other week not sure why it does this.
If it carries on I may have to contact the manufacturer about it.
Easy to install. Works with Alexa and on fire tv. You just ask alexa to show you camera and does it straight away. Got to be near a plug. Better if it was wire less. Connects good to virgin media internet. Pretty good so far. Night vision is very good. So is motion detection and picture quality good. Love the two way convo. Excellent product. Amazing little camera. Bought for my daughters house to check the pup! Ideal and so easy to install and use. Like the idea of being able to move the camera to check on him. Only downside. He knows we’re watching if we move to find him as it much make a noise as he always looks

Easy to setup as long as you say no to the question are you using 5ghz Wi-Fi, it works on 2.5 and will not setup if you don’t do this.

Just ordered another mini orb to replace a fixed camera in my rabbit shed.
Its not perfect, but it is very good value for money especially compared to other Chinese brands that have crappy generic apps. The Netvue app is very good compared to its competitors and updated regularly.
The pan and tilt is very good on this device and actually looks really really decent.
WOW. I was about to buy the more expensive baby monitor (eufy) for 160 and thought i would purchase this for the time being. However, when i used it for the first time i was blown away by the day and night quality of this camera. This is BETTER than most dedicated baby monitors out there trust me! We have now decided that this is all we need. The fact that it works with Alexa too is fantastic. I can view via the fire stick on my TV as well as my echo show 8. Amazing! I will be buying more of these camera to put around the house

My hope was to put this camera up high so it was out of reach and be able to scan the room. However the downward viewangle is barely below horizontal. I can guide it to stare at the ceiling if I want but I can’t point it at the floor unless I create a ramp to sit it on.
I bought the camera to check on my dog while I’m out. But besides that, it serves as well as a security camera! I already want to buy one to outside my house!
The camera has a really good image both day and night.
The online support is very efficient, when I needed help, (I didn’t search on the app and I couldn’t share access to the camera), they promptly helped me to solve this!

Where it loses a star is for the snippets that it captures – it sometimes misses sections of motion that could render it not doing its job if that vital time window you needed was not captured.
I read a review whereby another user had said the motion alarm clips used to work just fine but that must have been over a year ago as that’s when I got my first one and it’s always had this niggle, and so have my subsequent models.
Night vision is excellent and for 20 you really get a lot for your money. I have not used the subscription service so cannot comment on that, but the Netvue app is very handy and easily accessed.
The Netvue Camera is easy to install and offers very good performances despite its price is quite reasonable. Night vision works quite well, and programmable motion detection zones offer the opportunity to implement an effective indoor surveillance system to monitor your property while you are not there.

Netvue on the other hand shows a clear HD video with minimal lag and reliable Alexa compatibility. We also like the 128GB local SD storage (not included in price) that can store nearly 2 weeks of continuous video that you can scroll back to view, export to your smart phone. The iOS app is easy to use and cloud viewing remotely in 4G isn’t bad but WiFi is better. The remote pan, tilt and zoom is also practical, but can be loud if your baby isn’t expecting this.
The only downsides are
1. A bit bulky compared to other non-tilt, zoom, cameras. Not as cute but very functional!
2. Downward view from a platform mount is limited, so you need to mount it upside down to get the best view, so will need a bit of DIY to fix it to a higher view point.
3. Netvue does a fair bit cross-selling when you sign up to the app, so be sure to opt-out of marketing.
Overall a good security camera for the price & beats Arlo Baby in performance.
I have four of these now and use them for home security, monitoring pets when I’m not home and for keeping an eye on my disabled mother so she can have independence in her own home with safety of knowing I can see if she falls. This has happened and she was reassured to hear me through the camera telling her I was on my way to help her up.
Dead easy to setup with simple instructions and when you add cameras they are all in the same app and easy to control.
The audio is a little rough, but I can clearly here sound. However, the talking quality is seriously lacking with a lot of lag, but as I only use this as a camera, not to have two way conversations, that doesn’t bother me. They are super easy to install with the app and the app is extremely reliable. They sync with Alexa, so I can view the cameras on my smart tv or echo show in another location. There is more buffing using these devices, but it works for a quick check in.
I do not subscribe to the cloud service so can’t comment on that. Mine are used for live feed only and I have motion detection off, but you can add a micro sd card if you don’t want the cloud. When I had the motion detection on I was getting frequent pings with pictures, as expected.
I really cant believe the quality at this price, and have to wonder what extra you get for cameras that are five times more expensive ?!? I highly recommend.
I got this as an indoor monitor.It works fine with my three Echo Shows around the house. With the Echo I can’t pan/tilt/zoom but I think those features are available via phone or tables operation.
The picture quality is good but I’ve not used the motion detection feature yet.
We were skeptical about this due to the price but received it today and have put it up in our daughters room. Our daughter has medical issues and has recently started sleep all night in her own room so this gives us access to be able to check on her without running up and down the stairs and also means I will be able to get a little sleep.
The night vision quality is great, it was super easy to put on the wall. The app is really easy to use and it was simple to connect to our internet!!
Would 100% recommend this item we are now buying another for our sons room!
We have 4 our these products, we find them very good value for money, sturdy with a quality feel about them, easy set up, very good customer support and comms, the software is good and easy to use, but most of all the picture is excellent.
The alerts work well and are fairly prompt, its nice to have the option of using a memory card or cloud based recording.

My 3rd Netvue camera i have placed this one in the summer house to catch the wild life very impressed with the results.
I tried to setup today and must admit that the setup doesn’t require any rocket science. Every step is summarized into a QR code. You download the app from QR code provided in the leaflet. Once installed, scan the QR code tagged on the cam body. That’s it, rest all is just automated process.

Video quality is decent. I haven’t tried the night vision yet. Will post an update only if the night vision performance is not great. Else, take it as a good performance.
The motion detection was crisp. It seems to have recorded my motions while installing it and notified me on the app. That just sounds great.
Cons:
I am an Engineer myself and generally like to get handle of the settings. I did not get to the webadmin page of the device to figure out the iPhone settings and few other stuffs. I would have liked to use this same device as a webcam for my computer, however there isn’t any access to fiddle around with the settings.
Also, its bound to 2.4 ghz. These days, there are hardly any devices that don’t support 5 ghz wifi. Ensure your wifi router has 2.4ghz wifi, else this device will not work.
Rest, I am pretty impressed with the stuff so far. Just need to setup a cloud recording, and I will be all set for this
I have been using this camera for a few days now and to say I’m impressed is an understatement. Setup was very quick and easy. Picture quality is amazing especially for the price point of this camera. Night vision works perfectly. And the pan/tilt feature works flawlessly. In fact I have just ordered 2 more of these Netvue cameras I’m that impressed.

I did have Internet connectivity issues with this one. I spoke to Anna at Netvue customer care. Excellent service, tried to fix remotely. Couldn’t so they sent me a new unit (came via amazon) which worked perfectly. Great support on a great product.

Nice little camera with the features it has onboard. Setup was quick and quality picture through the app. Inserted a SD card and now have storage onboard.
Downside ! – if unplug and want to reposition the camera it then seems to loose connection to account/app. Maybe just me but that’s only probelm I’ve had.

I already own one of these in black but was pleased to be able to purchase one in white for a different room. I like how you can eliminate certain areas for motion detection. Simple to use, just took a little patience to set up.
To be honest for the price Was not expecting much it was purchased as a security device for my mother in law who is on her own.It.They arrived on time so opened them upend before doing any mounting Igot the firs one working within half an hour and I am not really into this sort of thing.Well no2 was a piece of cake every feature worked well. the night vision and motion detector all good .For mounting them you get a templet to help with this.so two cameras now up and running happy days.Should be ten star ratting
Got 3 of these which pretty much cover the whole downstairs and garden. Buying one lead to buying 3 as was so impressed.

Bought 2 of these cameras so that we could keep an eye on our dogs when we are out of the house. The picture quality is amazing both in daylight and when using night vision – very clear and sharp. The pan and tilt feature works well and the motion detection can be dialled down so i’m not being alerted every 5 seconds. Will buy another in the future and likely the outdoor camera if the picture quality is as good as on these

Good picture quality, and controlling the camera via the app (+ speaker) works well. Set-up instructions were easy to understand (although it took me a couple of times to set up the app). The wall mount is functional, although could be sturdier/ made out of better material.
Worth the money, and I am considering buying a second.
– I have a Vigil Camera from Netvue and was impressed. So felt confident this would be just as good.
– Got 2 Netvue Eggs
– Setup took less than 5 minutes for each.
– One egg was on a Network Repeater while another connected to the actual modems router
– You have to have a 2.4ghz wifi available on your modem, otherwise you will have problems trying to set this up and won’t be able to get it working.
– The app works really well and switching from Day to Night vision is solid.
– I have an SD card inserted and the video records and plays back fine!
– I haven’t used the cloud services but you get given a free trail after setting up for the first time.
I did have a problem with one of the Eggs after some time, I contacted Netvue Support and they sorted it out very quickly and were very nice about the situation. They gave me a replacement Egg which has been working perfectly since.
The other issue is latency (the time between asking it to do something, like scan right and the time before it does this). It’s a couple of seconds. Not terrible just noticeable.
Over all I like the product and very happy with it. It just a couple of niggles.
Brilliant value for the price… this is a fantastic camera and very easy to set up. With the app easy to download and navigate I had this camera up and running in a matter of minutes. I even got it linked to my alexa so with one command I can see my kitchen on my echo show.
The cable provided with the unit had a fault from unboxing, but after speaking to customer service I had a replacement through the door within two days with no hassle. Fantastic customer service response time and very helpful

The sound is also very good and when you want to speak all you need to do is press and hold the microphone icon.
Collective setup is that good we have changed all our previous Camera’s from 3 different brands to NetVue.
Didn’t think for the price it would be as good as it said on the tin but I am glad that I thought wrong.
Does the job really well, would only wish for improvement on the motion detect as it can pick up the slightest of things often whilst rarely not detecting larger activity.
For what the product offers at this price point I would deffinitly buy again.
They is a really excellent product that enables us to see what our dogs are doing, even when we are abroad.
we can also talk to them, and the fact that this works is verified by their quick reaction to hearing my voice!

Bought two of these along with an outside camera, quick delivery (prime).
Really clear picture, with good night vision. Bit of a give away if you want a discreet camera as the lens has a ring of infrared lights around it, which light up at night.
The App works well on your phone and is easy to set up, with notifications when there is any movement, This can be turned on and off and set for time periods. You do need to subscribe for this service though… (a free 10 day period is given upon registration)
With out the registration, you just get to view live with the app and record to memory card when movement is detected.
All in all a very good product.
Good camera at a great price. Motion detection is good, however, there are some times when it has missed detecting a motion. Camera quality is good but can be better. Night vision is surprisingly clear. Once motion is detected it takes a while for you to view the recording. The monthly subscription price plans are somewhat complicated and confusing.
We love this camera. We have one for both our children. It’s easy to use and I can access the cameras from work as I’m away a few days a week. The camera is great quality and motion sensor is great to get us know when our baby is on the move.
To see the dog in her bed or to see the floor area, the camera needs to be set on a slope. It would be useful to be able to extend the angle downwards. Otherwise a very good piece of kit.
Very good especially for the price. Retrieving video footage from the SD is not easy. Took footage of the dog sleeping at home and wanted to share. If isn’t easy.
Good cameras, night vision is good, motion sensor is OK. has a delay of 3-5 seconds depending on what type of device you are using to view the cameras. Would have hot 5 stars if it had a multi screen view app so I could view all cameras simultaneously as I bought 3 of these and wanted to buy more but as its not got this function I will stick with 3.
Fantastic product, well built and very easy to connect/use… I currently have another camera system in place called NEOS of which I use internally, however, they don’t sell outdoor cameras, therefore I purchased the NetVue Vigil Outdoor Camera and because that was so good – I’ve continued to buy NetVues internal security cameras. The only downside to this camera, there’s no ethernet port so only uses WiFi but it turns 360* which is awesome.
The notifications are so instant and can be configured to certain times of the day (if not set, by default it’s 24/7)
along with zones/areas within the camera that you can monitor/toggle on and off.
The motion tracking, AI motion-video and 24/7 continuous recording are all extra paid features!
he night vision leaves a little to be desired,only when there is contrasting light ie. when back light comes through the window from the street lamp. the motion detection is incredibly sensitive and the picture quality is superb. all in all great product and excellent value for money.
This is now the 3rd Netvue Camera I have ordered in a week after good experience with 1st Outdoor Unit – I now have Front, Rear and Inside of the House all covered – easy to set up using the IOS App and the Barcode on the the Camera. All good and can now remotely move the camera around (left/right/up/down) from the Phone/iPads. Good visuals – All happy..

Excellent indoor camera, very easy to setup, great IOS app, Alexa compatible. I bought cameras from different suppliers in the past, and this camera is by far the most straight forward to setup and use. The Cloud subscription option is something to consider for those wanting simplicity when checking alerts.

This is just what we need. An affordable WiFi security camera, that delivers amazing video quality. I installed this in our kitchen to dog sit our new puppy, whilst we are out of the house. It has given us peace of mind , that we can keep an eye on what’s going on at home, anywhere with our mobile device. I would highly recommend this product.
This camera was easy to set up and runs from mains power or usb via a desktop or laptop which makes it very mobile. The images on my iphone are surprisingly good and it covers a wide angle. The night light adequately luminates my lounge, etc. I mainly use it to view the front of my property from my lounge. I can see images and oerate the camera from wherever I happen to be. You can even record stills or video to the micro sd card. It is surprisingly good for the price.
I bought this product after being recommended by a few mummy friends. Honestly it is absolutely fab especially for the price! The camera can be mounted to a wall or in my case, mounted to my baby’s cot. It literally took less than 1 minute to mount the camera and under 5 minutes to download the app and connect the camera! The picture quality in both day and night vision are excellent and the audio is very clear. It also has the option to speak to your child through the app which I think will become super handy.
The only 1 thing I would like to see improved would be the connection to Alexa. There is currently only a few functions that you can ask Alexa and I feel if this was increased to match all the functions available this would be even better!
I had a few issues with this camera at the beginning but the costumer service try the best to solve the issue but was impossible amazon, send me another one instead. It fine.
Decided to buy 2 of these to keep an eye on my new kittens. Superb cameras. I’d advise wall mounting them upside down as they don’t tilt below level when placed on a surface. Theres an option to rotate the video 180 in the app.
Only slight issue I had was the mounting bracket as the bolt that screws through the mount and into the camera is quite short and will take a few attempts.
Despite the mount issue I really can’t fault them. Cameras are nice and quiet when being moved, the night vision is pretty good and switches between night and day really fast. You can even opt to turn off the green status light. Adding multiple cameras on the app is an absolute doddle. Scan 2 QR codes and enter your wifi password. Its as simple as that. I’ll more than likely be ordering a few more of these as they are so easy to set up and use.
I received my Netvue 1080P WiFi Orb Security Camera, only a day after ordering it. I bought the camera to install it in my dad’s lounge (with his permission) so that I can check up on him, as he hasn’t been answering the phone recently when me and my sisters have been calling him on the phone. I set the camera up yesterday after familiarising myself with it at home. It was very easy to setup. With the Netvue app I will be able to share the camera view with both my sisters, which will give us all peace of mind
I originally got this camera as a ‘pet cam’ and was not really expecting much ..if I was honest.
I received the camera on time but was concerned as the box wasn’t sealed (everything was there and worked)
I followed the instructions and the app and camera was up and running in no time.
If I had one gripe the SD card took ages to format in the camera ..my advice be patient.
I was surprised the camera had good picture quality and the app controlled the camera well (zoom , pan..etc)
The camera works with Alexa and my fire tv and I can view the camera feed on my echo show or TV (as well as the camera app)
I was so impressed I’ve ordered an outside camera from same company.
I bought 2 as a cheap CCTV for a new housebuild i’m doing, the quality of product and the package make you think you’ve bought a high end camera.
The APP is straight forward, easy to use . When doing this initial set up it is slightly slower in connecting to servers than you’d expect… not that it matters, but just makes you wonder if anything is actually happening.
The quality of pic is average (not brill but fit for purpose) at this price its a winner.

I placed my order for the Netvue Orb Camera via Amazon on 9th Jan and received the product the next day. This is the second camera I have ordered in order to check my pets whilst they are on their own and for security reasons. The camera is very simple to set up, only taking me 5 minutes at the most, the picture quality is excellent (even I the dark). I can highly recommend this product and would give it 5 out 5 for both quickness of delivery, ease to set up and quality of the picture.
I am very happy with this product that my wife brought me, it was easy to install and to connect to wifi was very easy, the quality is excellent especially for the price, we now have two of these cameras, the only downside is if you want remote 24/7 recording using there icloud it cost $69.99 a year, so where i have two and wanted more the cost is high, i probably wont be buying anymore simply because of this reaso
Really like this, easier than easy to connect, great picture both day and night. I was worried about some of the reviews saying it loses connection but other than once in the first night I had it it’s stayed connected all of the time. Bit difficult to speak through sometimes as it’s quite jumpy but that’s possibly down to 4g connection when I’m out and about.
No free cloud but I’m using an SD card and more for monitoring than recording so hopefully won’t need the cloud. Definitely recommend

Having previously bought one of Netvue’s Vigil Outdoor camera’s, I had high expectations of what to expect from this Orb cam. I have to say I was not disappointed.
This one I intend to use to keep an eye, (and ear!), on my 3D printer, but when setting up, I couldn’t resist trying it out through the living room window!
Setup time was roughly the same as before, 5-10 mins, and it was up and running.
For storage I opted again for a micro SD card, although I have since found out that I can not take the card out and transfer the footage directly to PC, it has to be saved from the camera via the app, then downloaded from phone to PC! Not sure why Netvue has done it like that – surely it would’ve been easier to just remove the card and directly transfer that way? (this seems to apply for other Netvue cam’s too)
It has a wide range of all 4 axis movement allowing coverage of the entire room when placed in one corner. It also has an impressive zoom feature for such a small camera.
Night vision, as appears to be the standard, is top notch on Netvue cam’s.
I also like the fact that it picks up sound clearly as I will be able to hear, as well as see, how my print is progressing.
All in all, I’m very happy with it so far.

It was easy to set up and after I installed the app on my android phone it was very easy to log in and keep an eye on the pooches. You can pan around the room too. It’s portable so you can move it to wherever you want. Well worth the money!
Perfect for use as a baby monitor or simple home security camera.
Can be a delay depending on network and what you are viewing the camera on (Echo Show for example has an 8 sec delay whereas mobile phones are around 2 seconds).
Simple to setup and easy to use. Only criticism would be lack of 5g wifi support and the speaker is not always clear.
This camera is perfect for indoors to be able to check on our dog throughout the day. It has very clear picture and sounds quality. Set up is quick and easy (we did have to go through this twice as but didn’t bother us). You can share the camera with as many people as you like, so anyone in the house can check it while they are out. Would definitely recommend for anyone who has animals and wants to keep an eye on them!
My experience with Customer service has been slow and poor in general. Technical department seem to only point me to common sense resolution and information giving, none of which has been helpful in the least bit. After many days of chasing for a resolution with one of the cameras, they eventually replaced it.
All in all this is a good product and i am happy with it.
Excellent camera. Easy to set up. Control everything with the ap on your phone. You can move the camera around, listen, speak, take snapshots, save vids… The motion detection thing is cool too, it sends a notification to your phone so you can rush home and break the burglars legs, or call the cops on them if you’d rather. But yes, brilliant camera for extra peace of mind. I recommend you get one.

When it arrived the box amazon box was fine but the camera box inside was dented. Some of the internal packagings were screwed up so I think I may have been given a returned camera. Considering that, I have had no issues. It has been extremely easy to set up, It was slightly annoying that it didn’t like my wifi initially but it sorted itself out (i still have no idea why that was). It’s easy to work the app. I would definitely recommend
It’s a good camera but don’t expect the same quality as your phone camera. Also, the human detection is not very good as it’s triggered by my cat. The cam is easy to use, the app freezes sometimes but it’s easily fixed by restarting it.
They are bigger and less discreet than the others but I like their design. The Hive has the free one day storage advantage, but will install a memory card on the Netvue to cover this.

I’ve bought several of these cameras, and for the price, they’re truly very good. I use these predominantly for watching my dogs, to ensure they’re not terrorising anyone on the street outside, or the village, or basically anyone in the universe. They’ve helped me also catch many a funny moment, where my dog has been peeing on the floor or humping pillows or ripping up my amazon parcels. 10/10 for the cameras, 1/10 for realising my dogs aren’t very well behaved.
OK i set this up two weeks ago and moved it to different areas of the house to see the quality of reception. Wherever it was placed the signal was strong and picture and sound quality was first class. I am female and even i found setting this up was so easy i’m sure a child could do it.Good price for a quality item and fast secure delivery from amazon.
This Camera is Amazing, simple to plug and play and the App UI (User Interface) is perfect and so simple to use. yet look professional, not cheap!
The Video alerts go only with Cloud service. which is not expensive. hOWEVER, Its per device not ID.
If you dont want the Cloud subscription you can just buy the Micro SD card and it will send you good and on the spot 1-3 image sequence for any alert.
This one has a human detection which is working perfectly good so far.

We started out with the smaller version of this, which is slightly cheaper, but this one is definitely worth the price difference! We use it to look after a pretty large double reception area and it covers it completely through a wide lens and tilting.
You can record by either getting a memory card or paying for the cloud service. However, even if you choose not to, when motion sensors are activated (really easily activated and deactivated from your phone and you get push notifications to it when motion is detected), it automatically records a few short videos of what’s going on. Motion detection is great and you can adjust its sensitivity -we have it at the highest for our toddler’s bedroom at night and lowest for living room, for example.
Night vision is top notch, video quality 1080P HD. And, bonus, there is two way audio (so I can tell my toddler lie right back down when he’s trying to avoid sleep without having to come upstairs).
They really thought this through!
You can share permissions via the App, and it allows multiple users to watch video online at the same time.
After shopping around for a baby monitor that is visible on Alexa and also a phone app, we came across this.
What an excellent product this is and such a reasonable price compared to other baby monitors that offer the same features.
The night vision is brilliant and it’s great how you can even speak through the monitor.

The camera is very good quality, especially the night vision which works well in complete darkness. Two way communication is ok maybe my internet connection is affecting it.
Up and connected in 10 minutes. Netvue app is easy to follow with a clear setup walk through. Day time picture quality is excellent and Night vision is also very clear. This is my first Netvue Camera and may not be the last. Very happy.
I have recently bought three of these cameras which includes the out door model. They are extremely well built and great value for money. The quality of the cameras are far superior to a more expensive brand I already own. Although there is no optical zoom facility, pinching in on the screen brings up an enlarged image which is very clear. To sum up I intent to purchase more of these cameras and would highly recommend Netvue as a top brand in its field

The tilt. Pan. Zoom allows the full room to be seen.
Also able to ceiling mount the camera and flip the image. Really useful and means can view all angles really easily.
Great quality image even when zoomed in and also can see clearly on night vision mode. Will be purchasing the outdoor camera to add to this.
Really easy to set up and operate, PTZ, motion alerts, plus only 28 on a lightning deal. Excellent HD video day and night. Only downside is that motion alerts are at 5 min intervals and doesn’t detect audio without motion (i.e. a baby crying). For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend it as a baby monitor, but as a Security camera, it is excellent.

In addition, when-ever there is a firmware update. It will disable the camera. So if you are not local to access your camera, this can be a major draw back!
WiFi on and working but this camera continually disconnects ( running latest firmware). Therefore in my view it is unreliable. Dropped 1 star. However – good quality
i have to say at the price its at its a bargain no complaints very easy to setup and follow instructions excellent quality on the video and the motion detector works like a charm overall imm very pleased with this item
We are very pleased with this camera which we use as a baby monitoring camera. The app is very intuitive and the installation went smoothly.
Before buying I did a little research on the internet and this was the best camera we could find that would work easily and that offers audio 2 way communication as well as great picture quality. The installation took about 5 minutes and the camera works flawlessly for about 2 weeks now.
We use this to watch and interact with our lovely little dogs whilst at work, we can talk to them to reassure them if they appear to be restless. Good picture day or night and being able to move it remotely is one of the main reason we chose this one. Overall a great product. Recommended!
Great camera and easy to set up, picture quality better than I thought, not sure about audio as there seems to be some latency in the signal and quality a tad impaired but this outweighed by the functions, especially with Alexa.
Would like to be able to see images etc on my computer but save that for another day.
The motion detection is good – although I’ve got a little close to the camera a few times before it triggered – but the sensitivity can be dialled up and I’ve not gone to maximum settings yet. It did pick up a moth flying in the unlit room at night though, so it’s certainly not poor! With my Alexa chiming out to say motion sensor triggered, and the alert on my phone right away, an intruder will quickly know they are busted.
Minor tweak I’d suggest is the ability to switch motion tracking on and off, as well as sleep mode, from buttons on the app home screen, rather than in the menus. But it’s not hard either way, thats just a minor quality of life improvement. Being able to arm the camera by voice through Alexa as you leave is a nice touch. Can understand why it’s not possible to disarm the same way – wouldn’t want an intruder just to switch the camera off with their voice!

Was looking for a doorbell cam and spotted the range of products by Netvue. This is the first product I have bought from this manufacturer but I am impressed with the features it offers. It was simple to setup although linking with Alexa took a little more time and a YouTube video to work out!
It works really well, has fantastic picture quality even in total darkness and being able to check on security when away from home is a great bonus. The record facility on an sd card means you need never miss any event. Alexa notifies you if motion is detected and you can see the picture on an Echo show.
In short, this is an impressive piece of kit and we are planning to buy more products from Netvue including the doorbell! The price is very competitive and I cannot find any fault with this little device – highly recommended.
This is my fourth Netvue camera but the first with an ability to control the viewpoint remotely. This feature makes the camera even more versatile while retaining the other motion detection features and remote notification of alarms. One downside is that the micro SD card recording doesn’t give you a video of the alarm, just a snapshot. Video is recorded on the cloud based recording system provided by Netvue but it would be good to have this feature on the internal recoding system as well.
I set up this little beauty in about 10mins.It comes well packaged with simple instructions. setting up via the NetView app is fairly strait forward.I use it as a surveilance camera on to a back yard. The IR lights can be switched off via the app,this is necessary for viewing from inside a window out,as the IR will reflect off the glass. The picture quality is outstanding and if you wish to use motion detection you can pinpoint the areas you wish to cover only.
I put a 64GB card in to try first. Then I may increase this to 128GB (max). Connects easily with Alexa.(Remember to enable the skill first).
