Very good down-filled coat. It rivals the big puffy Eddie Bauer coat when i lived up north. I’m glad i got this. I highly recommend it. The only down side is the zippered cigarette pocket on the left arm. I don’t smoke and it’s not quite big enough for my cell phone.
I like how long it is and it’s pretty warm. The hood is nice as well. I’m 5’10” about 165lbs and a medium fits very well – I was worried it may be too small (wouldn’t mind if it’s a little too big) but I think it’s perfect.
I bought this for my son. He usually wears “M”, I bought size “L” in case the coat size is not so accurate. I recommend to buy one size up. The quality of the coat is very good. Very happy with this purchase.
I typically wear Large or XL shirts pending on manufacturer and length of item. Purchased this winter jacket to wear over a suit jacket so I bought an XL which has more room around than my body type and what I would normally wear but works well with suit jacket underneath. I like the stretchy fabric cuffs, two-way zipper and lightweight feel of the jacket. It will provide decent warmth during winter months when walking between buildings and around town. I do not feel like this is warm enough to wear outside in the winter for long periods of time in the Northeast (like playing outside with kids, etc).
Cons:
-Hood is baggy and there are no cords to tighten it around your face. If winter wind is blowing this will not stay on to cover your head.
-Zipper pocket on arm is extremely small will fit airpod case but will not hold wallet or phone.
-Only 1 deep inner pocket, would prefer 2 one for phone and one wallet.
Only had it a short while, but the hubby loves it. FYI, this is not one of those super lightweight packable versions — the fabric is thick and durable and my husband says it’s very warm. And the longer length was what we were after. If my husband could change a couple of things, he would have preferred no white logo on the sleeve pocket, (though the logo makes it more sporty, which some customers might appreciate), and he wishes the hood was detachable. But these do not really take away from his overall high satisfaction with this good purchase.
it is my go to jacket for New York winter days. It’s really stylish and does the job of keeping me warm. I am not a huge fan of giant logos and the one on the arm, kinda stands out. But other than that no complaints. Good purchase!

I was surprised with how long this jacket was, but it is still light enough and warm enough that it didn’t really matter. This should keep you warm even in the wet snow while also being light enough to hike in. It is a bit large and long, so packing and flying with it may be difficult.
This jacket is such a great buy and deal. Since it first came out a couple of years back. Orolay has exceeding my exceptions with the wonderful quality. many pockets and light wear. I personally do not like wearing heavy jackets especially when you have many layers of clothing underneath The Orolay gives you ample room without feeling stuffy and sweating to death. It is a bit larger than expected but in a way I really like that because in addition the reasons mentioned above I also do not want to feel confined and restricted. I like how the length falls beneath the knees to shield your lower back from the cold. Overall a great buy and who can beat the price? It is just awesome.

This is a superb coat. It is light weight, the outer material is supple and comfortable. It is high quality and the down feature is of utmost high quality. It is soft and warm. The snaps and the zippers are all high quality. The fit is excellent as is the tailoring. All top end. The knot cuff provides an excellent closure for locking in the warm.
I live in Southern California so we do not have many opportunities to test winter clothing. However, we were blessed with lots of snow this winter. To be honest, I never heard of this brand before but I brought this jacket for our skiing trip because I wanted to test the down insulation. Overall, this jacket is light weight, fashionable, comfortable. Most importantly, it keeps me nice & warm, throughout the trip.
The reason for the 4/5 rating is because I could detect the duck feather odor and it took a solid 2 weeks for that to air out.
Super warm and soft jacket. The seams are nice and straight with no loose threads or bunched up seams. The zipper is sturdy and strong as well as the snaps on the front of the coat. The zipper on the small pocket seems durable too. The hood is lightly padded with down and it is not removable. The ribbed band on the sleeve keeps out the cold air comfortably. But the best part of this jacket is the length. Love the length! Keeps your hips and upper legs warm and dry and free from the wind. The jacket is well stuffed with duck down and no loose feathers showing. Great jacket!
I got this for my husband and it is super warm and comfy on sub freezing days–it covers you from head to mid thigh, keeping all your vital organs warm also. It looks really great on, very fashionable, and I’m happy the weather will be in the 20s this week, so my husband gets some chance to wear it more often! Love the color and the hood.
My first puffy jacket did not have hood or ribbed cuffs on the sleeves. I love this puffy man’s black jacket with the hood. It has cuffs at the end of the sleeves, a zipper pocket on one sleeve and two large pockets on the front. My favorite jacket. I wear a men’s 1X and this jacket is a perfect fit.
When you live on a farm in the Sierra foothills, subject to all kinds of weather, and freezing temperatures, you need a really warm coat that provides good coverage as well. Sometimes, women have a hard time finding this combination. So, my daughter read about this coat, and sure enough, it offers her comfort, coverage and the warmth she needed. It’s washable and dryable (with tennis balls!)! Great coat for anyone wanted coverage and warmth!

Looks ideal for late Fall or Winter, good transitional coat from season to season. Packed well yet fairly lightweight. Comes nicely packaged and in a bag. Looks like it will last.

Bought for my husband who is tall and wanted a longer jacket. I have the women’s version and love it so I decided to give this a try. He loves the way it feels and I think it looks really nice. Only problem, I don’t think it looks as fashionable zipped, but my husband knows this so he only wears it on not too freezing days.
Wasn’t sure what size to order so I looked at my old coat and ordered the same, a large. Got the Army Green color, looks good. Fit’s very well, but hood is bigger than expected, however my wife says that’s how it’s supposed to be for quick coverage and the current style. Doesn’t seem to have draw strings on the hood itself. Arm’s length is perfect. Zipper inserts on the right side, not the left. I’d buy it again and can’t wait to test it in Colorado Winter Weather.
Bought it for my husband for a trip from our home in FL, to NYC, at Thanksgiving. He was nice and warm in the coat. He loved that it was amazingly lightweight for such a warm coat. On the way home from NYC, he was actually able to fold/squish it down enough to fit it into his backpack, with the other contents. It was a great purchase, for the price, that will last him for many years, since we rarely travel to cold areas in the wintertime.

The coat was too small for me. I returned it. It was well made but somewhat delicate. It would be very
suitable for a dressy work coat. Very functional for a situation where there is a lot of outside walking in cold

I first heard Orolay brand from New York social media and New York Times magazine. I don’t want to spend over a thousand dollars on Canada Goose, so I jumped in this one when I saw it on Amazon. I live in New York and there is a long winter, this quilted puffer down coat came in at about the right time. Its length exceeds knee. I picked up navy color and size M. It fits me perfect. I can wear it for varies occasions such as office, school, climbing, hiking. It’s fashionable and keeps me in warm.
I live in NJ, Commute to NY everyday is my life. Waiting for the bus during winter hits me badly, a down with a great quality is necessary for me. Orolay is the exact one I need to save me from the coldness. Not only warm and light but also fit perfectly. I can finally stop worrying about going out in winter.

Like the styling, love the warmth. Robust zipper. Hood is oversized but have discovered on a cold windy day it is a welcome retreat from the wind.
