Ok so not your top of range mobile but adequate for use and reliable ! Replaced old mobile for same model because dropped and damaged so not replaced because of any fault!
Great phone for money, as good as most just battery life is not very good, even with everything battery saving settings I have on, hey maybe I just have a faulty battery, but it’s only a few days old, all in all tho, cracking lil device.
I have this phone now for 8 months and it works perfectly, no problems or issues so far. It is easy to use and the mute function is ideally located on the side of the phone. Easy to get accessories for it online. It has dual sim but i use the second sim slot for a 64gb nano card so it has 72gb’s of memory. It is very responsive, no waiting for pages to load on the internet. Good clear screen, functions easy to use. Battery lasts a couple of days with normal use (calls and texts). I highly recommend the Ulefone S1 for anyone looking for a cheap good smartphone.
Got this for my partner, who is not interested in the latest phone or top Specs. All was wanted was a phone with good battery life, not slow to use and access to Phone, Facebook, Messenger and eBay.
The phone is self feels really nicely made, comes with a free applied screen protector and a TPU case. Overall use of the phone is Quick enough and Smooth. Lower your expectations and it’s not about phone, it’s never going to compete with the likes of Samsung et cetera but if you just want a cheap phone for work or one on a tight budget This might be the one for you. The only area That’s really not that great is the camera, for an eight megapixel snapper it’s below average.
The mobile was for a friend of mine ,he likes the phone very much ,also good value for money .
Had the phone a while and loving it, takes great vids and pics. Battery last all day and charges quick. Easy to use if your a bit of a dinosaur like me. Overall brill.
I sometimes think that Amazon asks you to view products a bit too soon after buying them because having only just received them its hard to tell. I have only had this phone for a couple of days but so far I am very impressed. I hope it last because so far it seems amazing value for money.
I bought this as a spare and I can say it’s very good value for money and simple to use, if you are just going to use it for the simple everyday aps facebook, wassap etc it’s great.
The first one that I bought I could not get the sim card to fit . This was because I think it had been sent out to someone who could not get their sim card to fit and damaged the housing . The second one was perfect and the sim card fitted easily
Got the phone for my son. His 1st phone and he’s really pleased with i
I also love the box it came in, it like a prefurm box. I was fiddling with the phone, and manage to find, the sound for the text message. For all the ingredents it as on it, the price is right!
Really good for the price, not the best camera quality or for games but a basic backup phone
I’m an Android developer, and I needed a cheap Android 8 device, and this one fits the bill, it’s under 50, has limited storage & memory (8GB ROM & 1GB RAM), but it runs Android Go, so it’s light-weight
Beware if you’re thinking of getting this as the display is “small”, I know it’s 5.5″, but it’s not the normal resolution you’d expect of a display this size, so some apps don’t work well, but because it’s so low resolution (480 x 888) the battery use is incredibly low, so it lasts for AGES in comparison to others of a similar price
Realistically, if you’re buying for a child, this might be too large, and if you want it for them to play games on, this is REALLY under-powered and under-specced!
If you want a device just for calls, texts & maybe browsing or maps usage, then this is fine, but don’t expect this to be anything more than a 50 device, because you really do pay for what you ge
Brought this phone for my dad who’s in his late 60’s and not very tech savvy, I removed all the icons and just left the essential ones, he loves it, great phone, easy to use, battery life is brillia
So far excellent value for 50 bought for a friend that only wants basic use-calls, text and you tube.
Fast delivery, lesd than 24 hours
Very pleased with this phone. Excellent value and easy to use. Would recommend for young or old.
This is a good starter or backup Android smartphone. The Android Go operation system appears to be a cut down version of the Android operating system which runs well on this phone. Some of the apps also seem to be cut down versions but again work well on the phone. In fact if you don’t want all the bells and whistles of an expensive smartphone this phone would be a good choice.
The only slight negatives are there is no user manual (not even a reference to a download version!) so it can be a bit confusion if you currently use a more advanced Android smart phone or are new to smartphones. Also I found inserting the SIM cards into this dual SIM card phone confusing and had to find a YouTube video which was in a foreign language to visually see what I was doing wrong.
Good phone for the money, no frills the instruction could be better though. The camera is quite poor quality.
For the price, this is an excellent phone.
If you have used an android phone before, you will find everything you would expect .
Easy to use, crystal clear sound, even the photos are good. The screen is clear and bright.
For a budget phone, it is excellent.
Im not the most tech savvy person in the world so this may have contributed to some of the issues I have experienced. Nice phone but not instructions made this difficult to set up and I am still working my way round everything. I couldn’t sync with my whatsapp account or contacts and had to reenter them all manually so ‘lost’ my photos and it seems I can’t do the things I used to do on my old ‘brick’ phone unless I agree to using Chrome. Nice camera though but have to charge everyday unlike what someof the reviews stated but still nice little phone for the money.
I bought it while my phone was in repair. I needed something that could work, not expensive and I could use my two sim cards. It is a bit slow as connection (it’s 3G) and processing. However, it arrived on time, it works fine and it is easy to use. I am happy with the choice.
Bought this for my wife who’s a technophobe. Easy to use, no frills and a decent price. Battery life seems fine, though the picture quality of the camera is disappointing for 8mp. Would recommend as a back up phone or for someone who is not interested in the full smart phone experience.
Needed a mobile phone quick for my wife as she just broke hers this phone was quick to set up and loud enough for her to hear at work I would recommend
he ear speaker is very quite, and this is the only fault with this phone. to counter this, you can put it on loud speaker, but this would be no good for private calls. was bought for a friend that isn’t good with tech, so its good enough for her to learn with. probably for children, this would be a good buy, as their hearing would be good and this can be clumsy , so you wouldn’t want to pay a lot. not to company: loud ear speaker please?!
Pleased and Happy… Early Days, I admit. But Loving It. Will review in 6 Months. Still glancing occasionally at my iPhone and then my S1 sizzles its way into my peripheral vision.
Bought as a replacement after my grandson broke his phone.
Easy to use. One happy Grandson.
I haven’t use it fully as yet, cause i am going to use it on holiday. but so far it grate, long battery live is grate .
So far so good, need another few weeks to try it out properly, over Christmas maybe
This wAs a gift for someone so don’t know about battery life ,very good phone for the money thank you.
ideal if your on a budget. does same as most phone s
Item arrived on time well packaged. The phone does exactly as described and performs well for all applications.
Some may find the phone a little heavy, but I do not find this to be a problem.Good display easy to read and use
I have not used all features as yet,but I am sure I will be well pleased.Would recommend this purchase to everyone
As I go through phones for my job very quickly,I need something that’s not apple or Samsung prices and not a cheap throwaway burner phone either. My last phone was a blackberry curve (2nd hand) that lasted a year and to be honest the buttons were getting too small for my eyesight
I need a phone that’s phone, text and a little bit of WiFi thrown in not Facebook etc. After all it’s for work.
As in all reality this cost me 20 as I get 30 back from work so here’s the review.
No problems with camera. I’m not looking for xxmegapixel to save. This is photos sent by email. It works.
Phone. No problems with calls although the ringtone to me is way way louder than my iphone7
Texting. Again straight forward stuff
Connects to WiFi no problem. My firm doesn’t allow internet on my sim card(even though they are one of the biggest tech firms ever! Go figure) It also tethers to my iPhone ok.
For a works phone it’s cheap,it works,and if I breaks,then it’s no big deal
It is not a duel sim phone either. It’s sim plus memory card. Instructions are as per usual with Chinese stuff….poor but anyone used to phones should work around this and the menus quickly.
Don’t expect higher end quality or the like. This is cheap and great for what it does
Love the phone. Can install the apps I need. Got it connected to my satnav. Can also use as walk-in satnav. Well worth the money.
This is the best touchscreen phone under 50 I’ve used, its actually usable and responds to your touches well with not much lag. I bought it for an older relative as they wanted one to try and will just be texting and calling. It’s adequate for that too, they can hear me fine so the call quality can’t be that bad!
Edit….(2020) now bought a second phone for my nephew and he prefers it to his previous Samsung so enough said really………Bought this on behalf of another person as a first smart phone. I was unsure at first due to not knowing this brand however I am very happy indeed. So much so, that I am considering buying one for myself (I’d have to buy a SD card to improve the memory though) even though I am a long user of smart phones. The memory is sufficient for the new smart phone user, as he only wants limited apps downloaded so his member usage should be fine and if not, he’ll just buy a memory card. I set up the phone, no hassle (except took me a while to find how the sim card slotted in) underneath (and SD card on top) for any of you that are unsure. I liked the fact that the protective screens were already applied – this is often a nightmare for me as I like them to be exact, so as it was already fitted, it saved me grief. Oh and it arrived in it’s own protective case so that was an added bonus too. Sound/picture was great with the added benefit that there are different security options to choose from. Good phone, great value. Well done
I ordered this, 1st time for a smart phone for me! Found it easy to use and get around. I am in my 60’s, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone who wants an easy to use smart phone. My husband was impressed and oredered one for himself !!
Bought this as a phone to keep solely for two phase authentication. Good phone features for the price. Biggest problem was trying to insert the SIM. Instructions written in black on black background. For those struggling, the nano SIM card fits in a small slot underneath the obvious sim slot which you can see when you take the back off. You also have to remove an insulating tab on the battery. Instructions in the box would have helped, but we did get an email from the vendor telling us about the insulating tab but I’d worked it out myself by then.
I got this as a temporary phone for my partner and for the price I paid its fantastic. A few minor problems like apps crashing but it’s got everything a smartphone from a big brand would have and I get to stay in touch with him.
Pictures that he saves onto the phone look fantastic, they’re crystal clear but pictures actually taken with the phone aren’t great in quality so forget it if you’re a selfie a queen. Pictures are all blurry but the phone itself is under 50 so I can’t say I expected much from the camera, but the phone itself exceeded my expectations. 4/5 stars! Great value for money.
OK so this was a present for my dad and he’s only had it a few days but he loves it. Setting it up was pretty easy and if you have an Gmail email already even easier. (my dad didn’t) The only problem I had was with the dual sim it took a while for it to work but not together. One sim is fine for now.
