Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt’s great for anyone, even more so if you have problems with your hands. It did a great job, used together with Flash Bathroom it got rid of limescale in all the nooks and crannies. Excellent. 4 stars because the price has gone up a great deal in last 6 months or so, a bit over the top.
I would not bother buying any of the cheap imitation to save yourself a tenner, this one has much better ratings and it’s not worth buying an inferior product.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis little tool can make anyone addicted to cleaning! Fab for the kitchen sink, tiles, showers, the list is endless. Gets in the little gaps that a normal sponge doesn’t. Wasn’t expecting it to come with batteries, which was a bonus.
Just make sure you don’t mistake it for your toothbrush

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI use this in my shower and it is particularly effective for grout. It has a few size heads so effective for getting in corners and more difficult spots. The scrubbing action is good and the size makes easy to handle and not cumbersome. I think for detail cleaning and smaller areas, this is perfect. I think it would also be good on other small detail areas such as taps, showers etc. Very impressed and would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI absolutely love the Sonic Scrubber! So much so I bought one for my mum for Christmas. It’s incredibly easy to use and makes removing dirt a breeze. The variety of heads makes it versatile for all kinds of cleaning tasks. However, I’ve noticed that it does go through batteries quite quickly, which is a bit of a downside. Overall, though, I’m extremely impressed with its performance and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a powerful cleaning tool.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUsed this today for the first time. I mainly needed it for my shower enclosures, they were tiled with ridged tiles which are awful for harbouring soap scum which turns to pink mould if it is left for more than a week without deep cleaning, and I was going through so many “magic eraser” type sponges that it was becoming very expensive.
I also wanted to deep clean the seals around the shower doors etc. I used my own batteries because the ones supplied with the device didn’t seem very powerful.
It comes with 4 heads, the largest of which is about the size of a Babybel cheese. It also comes with a “kind of” pointed brush but I would really like to see a small detail thinner longer brush that gets right into cracks and crevices, because all 4 of the brush heads are too big for this.
It does seem quite powerful but your hand does get sore from the vibrations if you are holding it for any length of time.
You can slide the “ON” button all the way forward to keep it on instead of pressing it, which is good.
It really helped to remove the scum from the tiles and got right into most of the grooves. The big brush is still pretty small so it does take time, but this is a dinky handheld device and I’m sure you can buy bigger more expensive ones if you plan on using it to clean large areas.
It’s easy to change the brush heads by twisting to the side and pulling off.
I’ve seen people using these online to clean their taps etc – I wouldn’t recommend this unless you want to end up with badly scratched stainless steel/brass etc. The brushes are reasonably firm and I would suspect could scratch the finish.
I’m sure there are lots of jobs around the home this tool could be useful for.
Recommended, wish it came with a small detail brush though!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersAt last, something that cleans all those hard to get to corners and crevices without effort on my part! I know I’m sad but this scrubber has become my new best friend when it comes to cleaning. So far I’ve used it on skirting boards, tiles, grouting and hard to clean places, such as behind the toilet.
Positives: Very easy to change the brushes, which is important to me as I have some arthritis in my hands. It has a well textured and well designed grip. The scrubber is high speed but requires no effort to remain on the area you want to clean. You can have your cleaning spray in one hand and the brush in the other as you move along. It does its job really well.
Negatives: The most annoying negative is that it takes 4 AA batteries and they don’t last very long once you get going. However, the speed of the brush doesn’t change; it just stops. It would be so much better for the user’s bank account and the environment if the manufacturer made this USB rechargeable. The other negative is that you have to bend or kneel to use it. Although it’s a disadvantage, I did buy a telescopic spinner, which cost considerably more and just jumped around all over the place so I returned it; I’m happy to bend. Despite it not being rechargeable, this is becoming my go to gadget.

This is a great little product. I have given it 4 stars as even the largest head is quite small. For small jobs it is great but anything larger you need something else e.g. cleaning oven door, shower. The largest head has worn down quite quickly but I can still use. On the whole I would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersDid a fairly good job of scrubbing the bathroom – effective but it’s no magic wand! (It improved when I stopped pushing the brush head too hard against the surface being cleaned, it just needs a light touch.) It’s compact (a bit like an oversized electric toothbrush) so it’s easy to store.

The only thing I dislike (apart from it not being a magic wand) is how noisy it is.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersOmg! I never bother leaving reviews, but this time, I just had to share. My friends already been told about this little helper. We have small floor tiles with white grout in our kitchen. Although it looks nice, it’s so high maintenance, mopping just shoves all the dirt in the white grout gaps. Usually me and mu husband take turns scrubbing with a hand brush, because it’s so hard, and so time consuming. But now! With almost no effort at all, it looks like new! I was literally having my morning coffee while cleaning the tiles it is still time consuming, but the results are effortless and so much better then hand scrubbing!

    Amazing

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is just a replacement of the old fashioned toothbrush cleaning method – it’s sturdy and it has replacement heads for different size jobs etc. I think you’d get the same results from a toothbrush or scrubbing brush but because of it being electric, it is better for anyone who doesn’t have as much dexterity or strength in their hands.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was very sceptical about the sonic scrubber, but what a piece of kit! My bathroom floor has black grouting and I used the Pink Stuff and the scrubber, let’s just say ewww .I frequently mop my bathroom floor and thought it was clean, untill I used the SS and P.S the grouting was disgusting and the SS was so easy to use.
Around taps and plug holes, it gets into tight corners, and with so many different heads I’m amazed brilliant piece of kit. Can’t wait to use it again. I’m sure my sink needs a good clean AGAIN.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI use this mainly on the detergent drawer and cavity of my washing machine and it’s so much better to agitate black mould.

However, the angle of the heads makes it v hard to get into tight spaces – like the detergent back drawer cavity, so it would he great if there were a few different angles. Also the brush heads are quite thick so would love to see it come with a lower profile brush head.

That said, great tool and it certainly makes the job easier, will a more thorough clean with less elbow grease.

I’d also love if it was rechargeable and brushheads were recyclable or compostela.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersAt time of review this cost 18.99.

I think I’m very late to the sonic crazy as I’d never seen them till daughter showed me.

So off I went and brought the Pink Stuff and ordered this, with no hope in my heart for either.

I’ve had stubborn limescale around my kitchen sink for ages and nothing shifts it………………….

    Till now.

I don’t know if it would work without the PS, but with it, OMG!!!

I followed the instructions to the letter and used the correct head to go between my taps, talk about a halleluiah moment.

With the SS it didn’t stand a chance. My sink and hob now gleam.

I will be tackling the bathroom, PS and SS in hand lol.

The only thing I did have problems with is holding it, bad hands and fingers, just have to find my ‘way’ with it, and I took the hanging handle off it, after I put it on, as it just got in my way.

Would recommend the SS and PS!

The noise you would get, would only be about half as loud as this “sonic” scrubber.

They should sell it with ear plugs. It is astoundingly, brain-meltingly loud.

My cleaning toolkit includes all types of tooth brushes, a set of paint brushes and set of round brushes. This toolkit was compiled over 30yrs ago when I first learned how to clean around the house and awkward places in the house. I’ve purchased the SonicScrubber only because of my arthritis. It has definitely helped me clean especially the gas hob and washing machine drawer. I’ve not yet had to use it on anything else as yet. It’s a good addition to the cleaning toolkit. Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat for cleaning areas that require heavy prolonged scrubbing such as grout around tiles. Far easier and quicker than using a manual method like an old toothbrush or nail brush to scrub around areas as you just switch it on and move over the surface then just simply wipe away the dirt. I became fed up having to scrub my bathroom tile grout with a brush and kept putting it off so inevitably ended up with a very grubby looking bathroom. Since buying this I now keep on top of this chore and love the results.

Also great to use around taps, windows, patio doors, radiators, door knobs / handles, ornaments and many other places.

The battery life is reasonable though I’m using rechargeable AA batteries which work well.

Fairly inexpensive and takes the elbow grease out of the scrubbing. Recommended as an essential part of your household cleaning equipment.

Great idea, helps when trying to clean those though areas especially when they are hard to reach. I purchased a second set of brushes so I’ve a set for outside the other for around the house. My only criticism is it can be awkward to hold and press the button at the same time. There seems to be a spot on the handle that you must keep your finger on and if you even move it slightly it keeps cutting out. My electric toothbrush is very similar but much easier to use and doesn’t cut out so maybe this has a fault, I don’t know.

  64. LucieGooden says:

It’s easy to change the heads over (although I did have a habit of twisting the wrong way each time). The supplied batteries didn’t last too long which was a bit disappointing however I have now put some brand named ones in so hopefully they will last.

My main use for it was scrubbing grouting. It’s made a fairly good job of it but there is only 1 head provided that’s suitable for this job and it wore out quite quickly. I think that’s because its slightly pointed and the friction builds up quite a bit. I was using pink stuff paste with it too.

Overall it’s a good tool and I would recommend but make sure you have a supply of decent batteries too.

  65. HermanHarman says:

The first thing I noticed was how sturdy and well made this seems to be. I wouldn’t go dropping it down the loo but I am sure it is able to withstand some abuse.
The brushes are also sturdy and there are four heads in total , which means that there is a perfect fit for every job.
I was unsure about ordering this as some reviews basically say it is a glorified toothbrush. It IS a glorified toothbrush but on a much bigger and better scale!
At first I was not that impressed but as I have been using it over the last couple of days I have begun to realise just how good it is!
I had a bit of rust on my kitchen floor from a metal doorstopper which would not come off and this got rid of it very quickly, no scrubbing and no hassle.
It’s brilliant for getting into those hard to reach places like behind taps, cooker controls, little nooks and crannies, it makes things a lot easier.
I have seen a couple of reviews stating that you have to hold the button down the whole time, you don’t! You slide the button up and it stays on.
It is not a miracle worker, it is a brush after all, but it does have a bit of power and is excellent when used with a bit of perspective.
I am now loving it. Really makes things a lot quicker and easier.
It does come with 4 AA batteries in the pack which I imagine won’t last long so I bought some rechargeable batteries as well.
I hope that the brushes will be available to buy separately again soon. All in all it is excellent.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThis battery powered brush is a very handy, easy to use item. (Batteries are included)
Different size heads and different strength bristles on the brush heads will tackle various jobs around the home. It also comes with a little wrist strap you can choose to attach (or not) if you’re prone to dropping things. You can power on by either holding the thumb button down or by sliding the button upwardly for longer use.
The photos show the size comparatively with an oral b electric toothbrush.
It isn’t heavy but it is quite loud and if your working above your head it’s will splatter into your face!
Overall I found it very useful but not perfect. Perfect would be a quieter motor and variegated bristles.
Certainly worth the money though, I would recommend. Happy cleaning

Genius idea. I’ve used old toothbrush heads on my electric toothbrush to tackle a few difficult to access cleaning jobs. This gadget works the same way but it’s much better.

There are different cleaning heads depending on the task you’re tackling. The brush heads are strong and even using in grouting between porcelain floor tiles, they’re not flattening or showing signs of wear. I have an arthritic shoulder so many cleaning tasks which involve a circular or scrubbing movement can aggravate the joint. This gadget does that bit of work for the user, so it’s ideal. It’s supplied with batteries and is ready to use within minutes. Great idea, well made and competitively priced. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFor years I’ve been scraping my knuckles trying to clean the black sludge caused by fabric softener in my washing machine drawer. I’ve tried toothbrushes and steam cleaners. This sonic scrubber is long enough and narrow enough to get to all the crevices and the various heads allow you to get into all the nooks and crannies.
If this is the job you want it for, I recommend that you give it all a scrub, then spray with a bathroom/mildew cleaner, scrub again and then. Put a towel on the floor With the drawer out turn your washing machine on so that water flows through the area while you give it a final scrub. This will mean the water washes all the grime away while you scrub. Leaving it gleaming clean at last!!!!

Bought this specifically to clean the crud out of the drawer in my washing machine. It’s a job I hate! In fact the drawer itself is the least of the problems, I put that in soak for a few hours before using the sonic scrubber or an old toothbrush. The real hassle is cleaning the interior of the drawer space. Why do manufacturers build these with so many nooks and crannies? Such a small space to get your hand into, I always scrape my knuckles trying to manoeuvre my hand around so I can clean the mould that grows around the umpteen tiny holes that the water comes through. So I bought the scrubber after reading many reviews and yes, it does the job well, much better than without it. It’s not perfect but I don’t think anything would be in such an awkward space. But it’s a worthy purchase and can be used for all sorts of scrubby tasks! A shame it’s battery powered and not rechargeable via USB but the batteries do seem to last a while. If they made different heads for it I’d purchase them too as it’d be even more versatile.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersFirstly, I’ve seen some reviews saying that the button needed to be held down all the time to use it. I didn’t mind this and got it despite reviews stating this. However, this is simply not true. To turn it on you press the button and push it up towards the brush.
The brush is great if you’re looking for a deep clean, especially in the bathroom. Its great at getting into all those nooks and crannies and is good at cleaning the grout inbetween tiles and around the faucet in the sink and bath. I think its good quality for the price. It’s sturdy and has a grip on the handle, and is not too heavy. It is not too noisy. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 39 From Our UsersI still don’t know why I decided to put light cream tiles in my utility room, but I did. Tiles no problem to keep clean, but grout a different kettle of fish. A total pain to keep clean so thought I would try this little thing to take the work out of scrubbing. WOW IT IS AMAZING…..works a total treat. I had already started to do the floor before I thought to take before and after photos but took a photo of a small still dirty bit and then an after photo. Judge for yourself. Used The Pink Stuff cleaner on the grout, sat down and wizzed away wz the sonic scrubber. Wiped over wz a damp cloth when finished and floor as good as new agai

    Amazing little thing

Golden Review Award: 832 From Our UsersI’ve been using amazon for years and years, I’ve had a lot of good stuff but I just never write reviews (shame on me). Today my Sonics rubber arrived and I’m so impressed I had to write a review.

I’ve attached a before and after of our bathroom tiles, please don’t judge me by the before but it’s come up so well and so effortlessly. The silicone areas are still stained but these just need resealing.

It’s easy to use and the attachments are brilliant. I was even surprised that it came with the 4 AA batteries needed to use it. Not going to lie, when I saw it was battery powered I was a bit underwhelmed as I expected it to lack power but that’s really not the case.

Brilliant cleaner. Easy to use, powerful, affordable and could probably double up as a Toothbrush.

P.s Please don’t try and use it as a Toothbrush.

So impressed I had to write my first ever review

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersHad this sitting in wish list for an while, moved into rented property but as can see tiles where grout was an little yellow in parts, also after scrubbing myself couldn’t seem to get clean, along with the shower screen door rails was mucky also. Only used once but think over time it will keep it clean, as parts will need re-sealing where the dirt etc has got into the old sealant but im happy … and now looking forward to using it on other small spaces and things that need it!

    awesome should of brought sooner!

Golden Review Award: 184 From Our UsersI cannot believe how reasonably priced and effective this little gadget is! Recommended to me by a friend and I love it already! My window frames have never looked so clean – living on the ground floor facing a gravel car park, we are permanently faced with dust. This is a game changer, everybody needs one.

    Game change

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersLove this product great for cleaning tiles and grout and anything to be honest.
I like it so much I bought another so I can have one for the bathroom and one for the
kitchen to stop cross contamination mainly, the tiles in the kitchen have lots of little grooves in (were there when we bought the house) they have had a yellow tinge in the gaps and have tried lots of things and this took it off with so much ease just with a normal kitchen cleaner just amazing and so easy to use. Mixture of heads for different surfaces.

I would never have believed it to be so good nor would i have ever purchased something like this as I have always used old toothbrush’s or Brillo type padsbushes..but this item kept popping up on my amazon app.On this particular morning knowing I had a lot of cleaning over the coming days due to building and decorating going on in my home I decided to view this and all it’s reviews.I was very surprised how everyone that owned one couldn’t believe how good it was and as one customer commented “it’s like a little machine of elbow grease”and that’s exactly what it is It’s incredible for around and in the corners of your windows, sinks taps, any hard to reach areas, also your cooker!! In fact EVERYTHING!!you just change
The head according to your needs !!! Great discovery for me and good timing as it’s December and will make the perfect gift for my sisters Thanks to all your customers for their reviews as it was definitely due to this I now have this very helpful tool that does all the hard work so I don’t have too

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersTotally thrilled. I have bad joints so scrubbing anything is quite hard for me. This works well on most surfaces and you can get into tile grout and corners well with the various attachments.
The battery seems to last a long time and it doesn’t need much pressure on it infact too much would stop it working.
Great bit of kit I’m really pleased

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGreat product. I bought this to clean the washing machine drawer and it did an amazing job and I will be using this all over the house. This is so powerful even for being battery operated. I highly recommend this product and I will be recommending it to all of my friends and family. It is very good value for money, really good quality and the different brush heads are great for cleaning different surfaces.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis little guy packs a punch! And does the scrubbing for you!

It’s scrubbing action and choice of accessories really makes each task a breeze and cuts down on all the manual work..

Great for getting into tighter spaces and brings products back to there former glory!

Can pop the accessories on a standard 30 wash (no sure if it says that but I do and it’s great!) to give them a good clean before the next wash.. just make sure you put them into some socks or what not to avoid machine issues 🙂

Will renew the heads as and when and this is part of my kit! Love i

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersBought this, after being nagged a lot by my better half (who watches a lot of Mrs Hinch)

I do have to say though… this scrubber is of a great quality and it really does do a good job in cleaning those hard to reach areas that are really difficult to clean (namely the washing machine draw). Would recommend, as it does a good job.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersBrilliant tool, bought it after reading Mrs. Hinch’s book! Used it to clean out the fabric softener dispenser drawer of my washing machine. Have never been able to give the inside space once the drawer is removed a proper clean, but this tool is long enough to reach every nook and cranny. Very satisfying!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersAbsolutely delighted with the sonic scrubber. It has made light work of some particularly onerous tasks and the house. Used in conjunction with a cream cleaner it had been able to get rid of some limescale in the tray under my fridge water dispenser, which I have battled with for ages! Not even a decent limescale remover could get rid of it, but this little gadget has!

Golden Review Award: 136 From Our UsersIf been tempted by these scrubbers in the past and finally purchased this one, I’m so pleased that I have. I have long finger nails and its a bugger to clean around fiddley things without damaging them, the sonic scrubber is great for these jobs, the main reason I wanted it was to clean taps and behind them and for this its brilliant. Great price, would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 281 From Our UsersHad sitting on my wishlist for a few months trying to decide it is was something I needed or just another gimmick I would use then realise I didn’t actually need it

Should have bought it straight away!

Gets tough marks off pretty much anything without doing damage to what is underneath

The different heads mean you can use it for most areas, even small gaps.

You can use most cleaning products with it and it is easy to clean. The little strap is great so that you don’t drop it

    Well worth the money

Golden Review Award: 145 From Our UsersNice product. Works well enough. (Not like magic as on tv). Gets into all the nooks and crannies. Easy to handle.
I have Osteoporosis, lungs work at half capacity and am petite. The Sonic takes lot of effort. I have to say it’s a bit noisy.
