Simple, small and it works on my very narrow rims and conti 25mm. Tried twice. Perfect.
No more ripped hands when flat.
Update: next day had real flat. While trying to remove tire, glider would not fit under the bead, too wide. And when I finally got it in and tried to pull the tire off, it broke.
I bought this after a customer at my bike shop raved about it. I recently converted to tubeless tires (Continental) and had a very positive experience while using it to install the new tires. Big thumbs up on this tool it works as advertised and you will no longer need to fumble with tire levers.
This seems to work great for getting that last part of the tire over carbon rims…..especially with new tire installation. My thumbs are thankful. I bought a second one to carry with my on road repair kit.
Very lightweight also.
The shipping estimate to US addresses will show as a month, but there is a US shipper out of Ohio that fulfills much faster than promised. Great tool for dealing with tires and rims.
Does what it says on the tin! As they say. Useful to have in your bag if you’re out on a ride. Punctures do happen and when they do you need to have all that’s available to help.
It works, bit tricky on very tight tyre rims but its a handy tool
I had to remove my old tyres and put Schwalbe Marathon Plus on. It took me 3 hours to do two, trying to keep them from popping off as I was putting them on, by tying bits of string, using cable ties etc. Only to find…one of my inner tubes wouldn’t inflate. I could have cried. Couldn’t face remove these evil, tight, inflexible tyres, so the bike sat there for 6 weeks. Someone recommended a tyre glider. I didn’t really trust it would work. Let me tell you: using the glider, the job of removing the tyre, replacing the inner tube, and putting the tyre back on…took about 15 minutes. AMAZING!!!!!
