Purchased to replace broken unit. Easy to set up, battery life is I think a bit optimistic, and the picture quality is not as sharp as I would have expected. The app does not work correctly on the iPad, but is fine on android. It does what it says it will do.
Fab little camera to cover front of house and parking. Good clear images and night images. Battery is holding up pretty well also. Super easy to set up also!
Easy to set up, let you know if there’s motion in the garde
Husband wanted new camera for when we are away. Set this up within 10 mins he was so impressed.
Picture is very good as good as my expensive ring cam
Just as expected but better! Night vision is great and the picture quality is very clear to see. Nice and easy to install and use. Rechargeable making it very versatile, can be used in a number of settings. Very reasonably priced at just under 45.
I have had this running for the last week and I must say for 50 you cant go wrong. There is no wiring as it is wireless. It took no time at all to set it up with my phone. The picture is clear both day and night, you can also set the light to come on. The sound is clear, I can hear all the birds clearly until they go to bed. I can hiss at next doors cat if it tries to pinch the hedgehog food, and it runs off. And best of all I can sit in bed watching my hedgehogs come and go all night if I wanted. Unfortunately I dont know how to upload the videos that it records but I can honestly say this camera is very impressive for the price. Please ask if you want to know more.

Looking for a single CCTV security camera which can do it all for under 50? Look no further than this one by Faxamol!
This security camera is packed full of features from 1080p resolution to 2-way audio to ensure that your home is protected at all times and all angles are secure. I really like the design of this cctv camera. It is beautifully sleek and compact in design. It reminds me of the Arlo CCTV Cameras which are x5 the price! It isn’t bulky and tacky, but rather has that modern look which I assume will deter criminals.
The quality of the camera is good and is of a 1080p quality. This means you can still see faces in various daylight conditions though will lack detailing, which is expected for the price to be honest. As for night-time conditions this is where this camera falls short a little, it is still in colour but the resolution begins to drop to around 720p. Still adequate, though not as good as premium competitors.
Very easy to setup with a handy video instructions on this listing. The battery lasts for a supposed 180 days which is great so only 1-2 charges will be required a year. Audio quality and feedback is also clear and consistent, with no lag or delay. Same applies with the video. A cloud storage subscription is required which is a huge pro compared to competitors who charge about 10 a month for storage whereas this one is 2.99/month.
Overall, a 5 star product, would recommend!
Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

I have this installed in my rear garden. It’s very easy to set up and install. M the app you download to your device is very easy to navigate and you get full control of the cameras settings including motion detection, cloud storage, SD card management to name a few.
The camera comes with a very good mount that attaches to your surface then simply attaches to the camera and it’s very easy to remove the camera for the Mount for charging.
Battery life is excellent and you will easily get a few months of use before needing a charge. This freedom of being entirely wireless means you can install this camera almost anywhere completely hassle free.
The image quality for both daylight and nights are excellent and you can save still images or video direct to your phone or chosen device.
Overall I am absolutely delighted with this wireless battery camera and for the following reasons I have decided to rate it 5 stars:
Easy to set up
Easy to install
Excellent app
Excellent battery life
Very clear image
For a 1080p camera, the quality of the image is very good indeed. It’s reasonably easy to set up, using their app on my phone, connecting it would be easy for even the less tech minded individuals.
Night vision on this is a definite win here, its very good indeed. I have even tried this inside my window pointing out, and turning off the night vision it still gives a great picture.
Motion detection seems to also be pretty reliable, just as good as my other cameras I have that are more well known brands!
Me and my daughter was going to install this camera in the back garden on Monday, over looking the car and garden gate.
So, we had read through the instructions and agreed on a place to put the camera. My daughter downloaded the app on her phone and linked the camera to her phone to have alerts and notifications delivered to her and this would initially make her the ‘admin’ to control the camera and sound the alarm.
Also give her the control to speak through the camera to anyone in the vicinity of it, via the app installed on her phone.
We thought we best put it away back in its box, and wait for my partner to get home from work incase he didn’t agree with the location at where we wanted it installed.
He agreed, but would install it on Saturday, on his day off.
Anyway… On Saturday my daughter is working roughly 5 miles down the road and I get a video from her, of my partner peering into the camera, turning it around and peering back into the lens. Then a video of him, jaw dropped, looking like he’d seen a ghost as she started talking through the camera at him from her phone whilst at work! which he still had hold of the security camera in his hand at this point.
I was absolutely hysterically crying with laughter… I couldn’t even speak or hardly breathe for laughing… nevermind trying to explain that we had already half set it up 5 days previous, but put it back in the box until he got home from work on Monday night.
Eventually when getting over the shock of what’s happened, he mounts the camera into position onto the shed, and I was surprised at the good quality and how clear the picture was. It was picking up the connection from my router in the house at ‘medium’ signal strength which is roughly about 35ft away from the security camera.
It was also picking up the tree in the garden with every slight breeze, and also the clothes on the washing line.
We quickly realised that this is going to be a problem, with a notification alert and video popping up every 2 minutes because of a tree branch moving or catching the washing on the line, so then to eliminate the ‘false alerts’ you need to subscribe to a ‘monthly subscription’ plan to unlock extra features.
Wow! a simple thing which could of been provided through the downloaded app anyway? a monthly subscription to ‘extra benefits’ which I would expect that comes ‘standard’ with the cost of a security camera and the compatible application needed installing on your smartphone?
There is no ongoing up-keep of settings which justifies why a ‘monthly’ subscription should be demanded? I would expect this to come as standard.
I do think this is a little greedy to offer these ‘benefits’ when it’s quite clearly something that the camera is already able to do with the app.
For that reason I am not giving this a full 5 stars.
I downloaded the application and set up an account to be able to view the camera on my phone aswell but, unable to, so i’m gathering this must be part of an on-going monthly subscription too.
By the time you have paid your ongoing ‘monthly subscriptions’ you might aswell of purchased a more expensive camera which gives you all these benefits in with the ‘one off price’.
Don’t get me wrong, this camera does work pretty well without a subscription, but it almost feels like it’s ‘on loan’ making a never-ending monthly fee just to stop passing cars, headlights, branches or washing triggering false alerts.
I’m not sure how long the battery lasts as its only been up less than 24 hours.
You have the choice of installing a SD card for images and video recordings, but, I’ll see how we get on with the alerts and real-time live camera for the moment.

Fantastic bit of kit very easy to set up and simple to install. Great picture and video quality. All good so far as its only been few days. Flawless and nothing to complain. Thank you would highly recommend camera.
UPDATE
*********************
After 2 werks of using camera very disappointed with battery performance. Battery keeps dying after 2 days of use, inspite of keeping settings to minimum. Have had to return the product as it’s no good if battery drains in 2 days
I’ve had the camera on for a week.
I felt I had to see how long the battery life was, six months seemed a bold claim, and I am surprised to say the Vicohome app, which the camera uses, (no website or desktop option as best I can see) shows a battery life at 91%.
With a device like this my first concern was going to be how long between charges?
This would suggest that the camera is going to last a considerable time – six months? Not so sure, possibly two to three?
Obviously factors like how often the motion sensor is triggered is going to impact that run time.
The app sends an alert when the camera detects motion, and it will records a short 10 seconds of video.
Quality is very good. The app allows you to choose SD/HD, and adjust the sensitivity of the camera to motion.
The camera also has a slot for memory card, however there is a rolling seven days 1GB cloud storage included with Camera, which appears more than adequate judging by my weeks use.
But that is an option I may well revisit.
I have to confess when I first set this device up I was very sceptical of the idea of battery operated security camera, but in using it this is a clever wireless solution to both streaming – and battery power also frees the camera from a mains supply.
But now I am pleasantly surprised.

This is an excellent security camera. Picture quality is very good and the night vision is excellent. The setup is really straightforward and this makes a really economical home cctv system.
This was really easy to install and get set up with through the application etc.
The picture quality is very clear and the sound is high quality.
It has an alarm feature too, which i found neat.
It also has a voice feature, where you can tell the postman you’re out etc.
It holds a full charge for over a week, mines anyway but obviously depending on how much it’s triggered to turn on due to motion detection.
The best outdoor camera i’ve tried.
Excellent value.
Very impressed with this for a single stand alone camera. The night vision quality is very good. We have a ring door bell on the front so one camera for the rear is all we needed and didn’t see the value in a full cctv system when they’d have been wasted. This looks nice and is unobtrusive. Easy to set up and use. Responds well to our wifi and most importantly gives clear, crisp images which responds well to motion. Delighted with it.

This camera does exactly what it says. It’s waterproof and super easy to set up, need to follow steps from app and from booklet.
It has motion sensors and you’ll receive notification on tour phone when motion is detected near-by. This camera has smart siren and respond in time, you can talk with anyone outside via the 2 way audio incorporated.
You can chare the access to camera with family, up to 8 members, they need to download the app and scan the QR code.
Very usefull.
Comes very well packaged and fast delivery.
At the moment of order cost 42.99.
Highly recommended.
This was very easy to set up, simply drill the holes in the wall for the mounting bracket and that is it, totally wireless with good wifi signal, it uses the vicoohome app which is easy to use and lets me view the camera, battery life is always going to be subject to use if in a busy area it will record more and the battery will be used quicker, the image quality is really good and so far has been trouble free.

At 49.99, at the time of writing,
This :
Wireless Security Camera Outdoor with Rechargeable Battery Power, Wifi 1080P HD Home Surveillance CCTV Indoor, Security Battery Camera Wireless with Night Vision, AI PIR Motion Detection
Is a great little camera.
Packaging :
It arrives in a lovely, shiny, professional, retail ready box.
The level of packaging is not excessive, or profligate, and is just enough to keep the product safe, and out of the box in good condition.
It makes a very good first impression.
Recycling :
Most of the packaging can be recycled, including the inner contents.
It is well designed, which looks good, and has some cool features built in.
With night vision, a clever AI, and some neat touches, such as the way it can act as a camera trap, recording when it detects any movement, and alerting you immediately, the camera comes with some seriously cool tech.
The build quality is excellent.
It is chunky, tight, and well put together.
It has no loose screws, no rattles, or squeaks, and no poorly finished areas, making the whole thing well built, and made with care, and attention.
The battery life is very good, and is quick to recharge.
It actually arrives fully charged, which is a nice touch too.
It is easy to set up, and easy to install, with an easy to understand, and easy to follow, set of clear instructions.
It pairs up to an app, which is very well designed, and has a good user interface, making simple jobs, and features easily accessed, and easy to use.
Overall, a very nice bit of kit.
Definitely recommended.
I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .
Not really part of an integrated system, more a simple standalone device. Easy to set up and configure, with wifi and works well with various apps and an website log-on. Not the heaviest duty or robust but good enough for general use.
Arrived fully charged, which is always a bonus. A neat unit, with a separate mounting boss that sticks / screws to your wall / UPVC. A rubber plug on the base of the camera covers the charging socket / slot for micro-USB storage card (up to 128 Gb), on/off button and reset button.
Simplicity itself to download the app for android or iOS and pair the camera to your tablet/phone then link to your WiFi router. There is in addition a 20-page booklet giving clear instructions for set-up and other functions.
Once mounted, the camera gives an audible alert if it detects movement, and records a 10-sec video of whatever triggered it. The microphone picks up louder sounds, and there is the option to speak via the camera microphone too.
There are options to extend capabilities with subscription accounts, but as a basic video camera this is a very sound offering
Wireless Security Camera Outdoor with Rechargeable Battery Power from Faxamol
Is it easy to install? Yes. After unboxing the package, I was able to connect the camera to my phone by downloading the ‘VicoHome Smart Camera’ app. It is available on both Android and PlayStore. You’ll need to create an account and manually enter your Wi-Fi PW for it to connect. Then, you’ll need to scan the QR code on the phone using the camera. It paired instantly. This set comes with a mounting bracket and screw set. It is wireless, so there are no pesky wires to mind.
Are the audio and video clear? I find the video clear in HD. It automatically turns to night vision when the light is not enough.
Is the motion sensor sensitive enough? Yes. The motion sensor automatically sends a notification to my phone as soon as it detects movements, even from a few feet away. You can turn it off to save battery.
Is the battery life long enough? It depends on how much activity it does, but it is not as bad as getting drained in a few weeks. I’ve been using it for almost a month now, so I could say that the battery life is pretty decent. It can be recharged using a micro pin cable to connect to any power source; an adapter is not included, but it’s not a problem as I can always use my phone charger. I find it most helpful, especially when no one is home.
I like that I can check the battery level through the app. Also, the images and videos can be saved to an SD card (SD card not included), which I prefer over Cloud.
I will update this review if something comes up, but I can highly recommend this for now. It claims that it is IP 65 water-resistant, which I can’t attest to at this time. It drizzled recently, so I can’t say that it can really withstand bad weather.
I’m really happy with this camera.
It’s got very clever tech in terms of the AI. It’s good at recognition and so far that aspect works well. It picks up out of the ordinary things and alerts my phone immediately. And the talk through and option to sound an alarm is convenient and loud.
Image clarity is great. Really vivid HD. Even at night the image is great.
The camera itself looks very smart and sleek. The build quality is a high standard.
Battery life seems great.
This is my initial review. I’ll add to it more as time goes on. For now I’m really impressed.
An amazing camera, the camera being via bluetooth and connected to wifi makes it so much better as it is really quick and simple to do! The night vision on this camera and the quality of it is extraordinary, I would definitely buy this surveillance camera and will recommend buying it too!
I have another security system compared to that I find this Wireless Security Camera is awesome and the price is excellent. Quality is great and installation is super super easy. works very well. takes tiny space no more struggle with the hub or ethernet and all.
Works with wifi. The outdoor security camera battery can last up to 12 months in normal standby mode. This 2MP security camera indoors uses Super Sensor and AI. I am on a 30-day free trial and I will review it in future. Supports up to 128GB SD card 7/24 recording storage (Not Included), or cloud storage service (7 days storage). I haven’t put the card yet but will do it soon.
I have not come across any problem with this camera and am very happy with it and definitely recommend it.
I already have a different brand of wireless cctv but I have an area of drive not covered so needed another camera. This one is as good if not better than the others.
It’s made from good quality plastic although my son thinks it’s a bit ugly. That’s just cosmetic though.
To operate you first need the vico home app. It only gives you a QR code in the instructions and not the app name.
It’s very easy to set up through the app and the video quality is high. The sound isn’t quite as good but acceptable.
The mount either sticks on glass or screws to the wall. The camera attaches to the mount by magnets.
You can record 1gb a month or you can upgrade the package and that starts at 2.99 after 30 days free.
If you upgrade the camera will define if it’s detecting people or animals.
You will need to get it down to recharge when the battery runs out so don’t put it too high that it’s awkward to get to.
You can share the app with friends so they can see the footage themselves. I
Overall, I like how simple it was to set up and also think it’s a great camera for the money so I’d recommend it.
Wireless Security Camera Outdoor with Rechargeable Battery Power, 1080P Surveillance CCTV Audio Indoor, 2.4G wifi Home Camera with Phone App, Door Camera Wireless with Night Vision, Motion Detection.
My husband has installed this on the front of our house facing the front door…. He say installing was easy with no issues.
It’s been running now for a couple of days and still ha loads of battery life left.
We haven’t come across any issues, it’s working exactly as the description states.
Night Vision is so clear.
The quality and durability is spot on.
We can be away from home and get a notification letting us know there’s someone at our door and we can communicate with them, it’s so good!….. You need to download the app for this function which is very easy.
I can highly recommend and great value for money.
