Although it says it all over the box oil for the engine is needed to start it. It would be helpful if it were shipped with a container of oil other than that hiccup starts and runs well. It is on the heavy side with rather inadequate rubber feet. If you drag it they come off. I would however on reflection go for the optional wheels and handle.

Well made easy to use does just what I needed it for
Downside for the price I’d of thought the wheels came with it as standard so felt a bit peeved but as a unit it’s piece of mind if there’s a power cut and great for fishing.

It works and only time will tell how reliable it is.
Arrived quickly, started first time. It is not massively powerful but is enough for an emergency generator, have run it for 5 hours straight without a hiccup.
Bought this because the news said there was going to be black puts this winter . Yes I’m that idiot that hears something then over reacts by buying a generator .
Anyway it arrived . I filled the engine with oil . Topped up the fuel tank and the best fired up first pull of the cord .
Quiet enough to be acceptable .
Looks really quite good .
I’ve fitted wheels to the frame so I can roll it under my workbench for storage and ease of movement when needed .
When the lights go out I’ll be ready for that half hour until they come back on again .
Seems very good value , works and looks brilliantly . Just brought a cover for it .
Superb value and great quality piece of equipment. Only niggle did not come with oil?
