Used for charging my various Gardening Equipment in the Garage – mower, hedge trimmers, drills etc. The ‘upside down’ feature
Makes it easy to plug everything in & the blue illuminated lights ensures you know what is on or off. Great piece of kit – would definitely recommend.
Purchased product for obvious reason. Intially plugged into socket that stands proud from the wall, found it very loose, unstable and unsafe and was going to return it. However, when plugged in a socket flush to the wall it works as intended and stable, so it’s now in use and had no issues.
I love this plug-in cordless extension. It has the right amount of sockets and 3 USB Ports so it’s versatile. I like the switches as they push in rather than up or down, and are easy to do so. It sits in my kitchen in a place I need extra sockets, so I’m thrilled with it. It also has 2 posts on the back of it that you can make short or ling to strengthen and support the extension whilst it’s plugged in. Great quality and well made. I really am thrilled with it. Thank you
Bought these to replace some older ones we had. They are neat and I like the way you can either have them above the plug or below. They have two windy things that you can unscrew out to push up against the wall and the plug unit so when you push the power button on for the particular plug you want, it wont move or work it’s way out of the plug socket on the wall. Also the power switches for the individual plugs light up when they are switched on so if you won’t forget to switch off again and save electric!
Happy with them
The item feels like a quality item.
It works well in the down position – sockets below the wall socket configuration.
However, for me, when trying to use in the above wall socket configuration, the adaptor pulls out of the wall socket; maybe my cable arrangements caused too much drag. I guess lighter cabling would be ok.
So bought this despite some of the negative reviews around sturdiness and have to say that I agree with the majority of advisories.
Great multi-plug system, love that it can be reversed for an up or down use – making it more flexible, when trying to avoid skirting, or other fixtures. I also really like the individual plug outlet switches on the unit which light up to show when switched on.
I just wish it could have been a little sturdier. Find that it has a tendency to pull away from the wall, as soon as you plug anything into it – the weight just pulls the bulky fixture out of the wall. I only have two things plugged into mine, one fairly heavy and bulky plug to be fair and one very light plug and the system does pull away from the wall slightly, so imagine if I were to add anything else to the unit it would become irritating and require me to regularly check and push it back into the wall.
I will keep it because I can’t be bothered to return it and to be honest it’s fine for my needs. However would not recommend if you would be thinking of maxing out all of the sockets on the unit, as would be concerned about it coming away from the wall and causing anything plugged into it to short out from loss of full connection or contact in the main socket itself.
Neat. Wobbles a bit, even with the screw-out bits but the plugs that I have in the sockets won’t be taken in and out very often so an excellent alternative to all the other extension sockets
This is one USB/multi plug which can rotate so that older (no longer allowed in new builds or upgraded electrics) plug sockets at skirting board level end up with the 13 amp plugs the right way up and well above the floor.
Great idea we had a normal extension lead with four plugs in trailing on worktop this plug is much neater and no more trailing extension wire
it is a little bulkier but dos the job , versatile
This is really handy. I like how you can rotate the main plug part so that it sits properly on the wall. It does feel a bit wobbly and you have to keep pushing it in to the socket, but it generally works well!
This plug extension is ideal for any home turn one plug socket into for this device.
I especially love how you can turn off and on each individual plug socket on this extension making it very handy for saving energy.
In a house with far too few sockets, this solved the problem that in some cases the few there are are just above the skirting board, so that other multi-socket adaptors don’t fit properly. Rotated to its “T” configuration this item solved my problem. The screw-out ‘feet’ make it stable against the wall. Ingenious!
Does go into a wall socket but tends to pull away. However I have some flat mounted plugs on my desk area and this gang works much better there. Loses a star for Easy to use as the button to press is stiff and with arthritis fingers or long nails not the easiest. But dont let this put you off – this gang works well and it is nice to be able to choose which sockets to use rather than all or nothing on my other gangs.
The only problem is when you rotate it the outlet sockets are now upside down, apart from that, totally fine
Good multi adapter, you will need to unscrew the two support screws at the back or it wobbles and tilts when have multiple plugs/adapters etc plugged in at once.. The turning of the plug so can have it facing up or down is tough to get turned but with little patience and persistence managed to get it pushed, lifted and turned.
Fantastic multi plug adaptor honestly this comes in so handy especially when you have quite a few people living in the house and everybody wants to plug their sockets in and charge the phone this definitely makes it so much easier and so much more convenient for more to call you people to use and charge their phones at the same time really happy with this by especially for the price you can’t go wrong with saving money everyone trust me
This is one of those things you see and think, ooh that would come in handy but in actual fact, you soon realise that the 180 degree rotating design is clever but you will actually very rarely use. As an extension adapter, it is well made and seems good quality. It has 3 plugs with individual on/off buttons and 3 USB plugs which is extremely handy as many items simply come with a USB cable. The rotating arm is easy and simple to use and with the adapter being light weigh, it is handy if you need to use rotated. Overall, a nice adapter at a reasonable price but I’m not overly sure I would use the rotating arm too often!
This plug adapter has been placed by our telephone socket near the front door of the house, as we only have a single plug there. We need more as we have the phone itself, our broadband router, a lamp and other items that occasionally need to be plugged in there too.
We have had an extension lead there but it looks messy as there’s nowhere to hide the extension lead cable. With this extension plug adapter, it’s enabled us to have everything plugged in whilst also looking far better and no extension cable lying around now.
It has also given us the bonus of having 3 USB ports, so my husband and I have now got into the habit of leaving our phones on charge there now when we come home from work, and it’s proved really useful.
It can handle powering three plugs and two phone chargers at once, without the speed of the phone charging slowing down at all.
At the time of writing this review, the price for this plug extension panel is 18.99.
If you have got a busy kitchen or office setup, an extension plug is what you need. Ideally a cabled extension plug would provide a better solution in terms of expandability, i.e., having more ports. However, it is not always manageable. The plug-in extension panel is a better solution without the worry of cable. This extension panel is well made and the panel is sturdy, and there is no flexibility when being twisted by hands. The USB port does not offer charging at standard speed, if you have device powered USB cable, they would be handy. One downside of this extension panel is its footprint, for example in my house, I don’t have a outlet with only single socket, which means it will take the space of two sockets.
Overall, it is a great product and well made.
Strong build quality and saves a lot of space and better than flat ones where there could be a risk if liquids come near.
It holds on tightly to the wall socket and doesn’t slip when fully used. There’s a switch for each socket and it doesn’t obstruct a double socket wall outlet. The switch is great to adjust position as needed.
Well made and delivers as expected so would be happy to recommend.
Mscien Extension Plug with 3 USB, 3 Way Multi Plug
The Mscien adaptor comes in a sturdy printed cardboard box. Inside the box, the adapter is in a plastic bag and the 3-pin plug part has a plastic cover to protect it in transit. The instructions for the adapter are printed on the outside of the box.
The Mscien adaptor has three individually switched, standard 13 amp sockets and three USB-A type sockets with a single switch. A button on the front enables the adapter to be rotated to align the sockets either below or above the wall socket and two threaded supports can be adjusted to meet the wall behind.
The Mscien adaptor has something I have wanted for some time that is it can be used with the sockets below or above the original 13A socket. I have several adapters but often I am stumped when trying to get them into a confined space and still reach to plug into the sockets. The inclusion of the USB sockets is just one more bonus in this world of “everything USB”.
I am using the adapter at the end of my desk where an already overcrowded 13A socket aches under the strain of too many plugs and double plugs. The Mscien adaptor lets me tidy up the mess a bit and then
provide supports for some of the many cables in the area.
I notice they also offer a four-way purely mains adapter with the same adaptability, I plumped for the three-way because of the handy extra USB sockets.
I am very happy to recommend the Mscien adaptor.
This plug socket is very well made and a quick and easy way to convert a single socket into a triple with 3 usb sockets.
It is very sturdy, I particularly like the fact it has screw out feet to ensure it stays securely in the wall when taking a plug in and out.
You can change the orientation of the plug which is fantastic and makes it even more versatile.
Overall a fantastic idea and well executed.
A standard multiplug socket that works as it should but where it shines is the ability to flip the plug which means it can fit into different spaces and allow for better access to plug’s and i love it.
I have used multi sockets like this before but they did not have the versatility to be able to be used either above the main socket or below meaning that on a double socket you can used the four on this gang plus the second socket, it can turn a full 180, there is a video that another reviewer has kindly uploaded that explains this better than I can, so thanks for that. The multi sockets seems well made, sturdy and safe.
I love a few points of this plug extension. It has four sockets with individual switch. The main plug can be 180 degree rotated. There are two adjustable stablisers on each side to make the extension staying stable. It is a double sockets on the wall. The extension does not block the other socket.
However, there are also a few points needing attentions. The extension is far from the wall. The stablisers have been adjusted to its limit but there is still a tiny gap between the wall and the back of the extension. The individual switch is not easy to press. You have to press it hard.
This is good overall and useful multi plug, and the plug itself works really well but design could be a bit a better with regards to the wall spacers. Regardless I am actually really happy with the multi plug and it’s helped reduce the clutter and added some well needed sockets in our kitchen. The quality feels good and I like the fact that its able to swivel which is actually pretty cool depending on where it needs to go, if it need either more space on top or below. The USB sockets were the main reason I wanted this, to reduce the amount of additional 3 prong plugs we had attached to the wall that just took up unnecessary space. Overall, it does a good job and it’s helped us reduce the clutter in our kitchen and given us more additional socket outlets.
This multi plug adaptor enables you to power Three AC plug devices and also three USB ones which allows you to power six devices at the same time. We are forever losing usb plugs in our house but now they are not needed as i can plug my phone into a usb port without the need for another plug. installation is you just plug it in a wall socket and your ready to go.
As its portable this adaptor is useful for any room in the house but also for travelling as it isnt too bulky, very useful.
This multiplug has these screw-in adjustable stand-offs that are a little bit of genius as it fixes the annoying issue where you dislodge the main connection with the force of plugging or unplugging a new plug. You can just screw them in and out until they barely touch the wall and the whole things becomes really stable. Combined with the fantastic rotatable mains plug – just press and hold the grey button the front whilst twisting the pin arrangement and it rotates 180 degrees so it can be used both above or below the actual wall sockets. I prefer each socket being individually switches like this too, and they have a gentle blue glow to highlight whether they’re powered up or not.
This is useful for a single socket. It will extend the sockets so you can plug 4 gadget at a time. You can turn on and off some of the socket when not in use. However this is not good to use on a double socket because the t-shape of this will cover the other socket.
Love this. but there is one annoyance.
I’ve used two gang versions of this before, but its really annoying thing to try and find one that goes above and another that goes underneath.
Well this fixes that. The whole thing swivels around so you can have it either way.
Plug is well made and there are spaces so you can distance it from the wall.
Each plug is also separately controlled.
But. and its a big but, there are blue leds indicting if each switch is turned on or off.
I don’t need to know if its on. that the point of whatever’s plugged in. i know it might only be a 1w drain, but that all adds up and wastes electric that needs to be paid for.
So I ripped it open and removed the LED’s, now its perfect.
This is an ace way to get more from a single socket. Plug in and instantly get 3 sockets and 3 USB sockets, each with its own power switch (the 3 USB share 1 switch). Built in surge protection as well which is always a good thing to have when drawing this much power from 1 socket.
It is big and chunky though due to all of the above, so it isn’t the prettiest item to plug into your wall. I’d it’s out of sight, then no matter and it’s perfect, if it’ll be visible, just think about how it’ll look.
Still though super useful so recommended
I love the extra USB ports, this does help with the prortabilty option.
used when setting up a PC test bed.
Add the PC, monitor and speakers, plus USB extras without needing two extension boards.
It does the job and because of the lower shelf on a console table we couldn’t have the usual one with the extension sitting below the plug. This was absolutely perfect. It lights up blue in the dark
This four-way plug adapter is a great design! Nice not to have an adapter with extension lead trailing unnecessarily on the floor. The plug sockets are decently spaced, leaving room for those pesky chunky plugs and each socket has its own on/off switch.
This multi-plug adapter has a couple of nice added touches including the adjustable stabilising knobs (especially useful if you have some heavier plugs installed) and the button to rotate the adapter, which is a really nice option to have and not something I’ve seen before. It means for those of us that still have older sockets on the skirting boards, this will still work by being able to have the bulk of the adapter upwards. I would definitely recommend this product. The only downside for me is the price, I’ve seen similar on the market for far less.

I like the fact this can be mounted either above or below a normal socket. That sort of adaptability makes it stand out in the crowd.
Each socket can be switched off/on individually, but all three USB sockets are controlled by one switch. I haven’t found this to be any kind of impediment so far.
The socket has adjustable stand-offs integrated into the main socket bar. Unfortunately, these only work if the socket you are plugging into is a FLUSH mount wall socket. I tried to use it in a SURFACE mount socket (where the socket stands proud from the wall) and they were (unsurprisingly) not long enough. Although they do provide good stability in a flush socket, the adjustable knurled rings are made from hard plastic and I had fears they would eventually damage the wall’s paintwork as things were plugged in and out. I put a couple of white felt furniture pads on them and that sorted it out just fine.
A decent and easy way to extend the number of sockets in your home.
I like the design of this sockets extension. I got too many plugs so I found this and this is really good. Bonus it have switches called indicator lights on each sockets which you can put on or off switches. It got 3 sockets and 3 usb which you can use up to 6 devices. It is really easy to use and set up.
Used this in our kitchen where we previously had a 3 way block style multi adapter
What’s better about this is it is much flatter and so sticks out less.
Also great that individual sockets can be turned off which is another bonus for our use
Made use of the 180 degree adjustable plug meaning that it fits much more easily in the corner locatio
Good product,
Well made,
Easy to use,
I would recommend this produc
I saw the MSCIEN rotating plug adapter and thought it was a such a clever idea. I am always needing more plug sockets (and our house is already fitted with an abundance of them). I can always use a few extra though.
The main ‘USP’ with the MSCIEN has to be its ‘swiveling’ feature. This novel design allows you to have the four three-pin sockets below the wall plug socket, or above the wall plug socket. This flexibility should hopefully mean that you will usually have an option that works well for your particular situation.
Another feature that you don’t often see with multi-plug adapters is the inclusion of two screw-out spacer devices. Because when you have an multi socket adapter plugged into a wall socket there will be parts of the adapter that don’t sit against the wall, this means that when you push in a plug you can be exerting too much pressure on the fitting and it can get a bit difficult. The screw-out spacers effectively allow you to brace the adapter’s body against the wall to ‘fill’ the gap. It is effective and will take some of the strain off the adapter when plugging into it. At least one of the spacer screws proved useful in all the wall sockets I tested the MSCIEN with.
Where the novel design of the MSCIEN kinda slips up a bit is that if you intend to have the row of four sockets above the wall plug socket then it looks pretty good and works well. However, when you swivel the adapter plug so that the row of four sockets are below the wall plug socket then the four 3-pin sockets are upside down. It still works but it does look rather odd. I guess that you can say that the option is there and if you really need to hang the adapter below the wall socket then you have to put up with upside down plugs! I can see that if the adpater is being used behind a cabinet or equipment then it hardly matters which way up the plugs are, so I am probably being over critical.
Each of the 4 sockets has its own switch and I like the pale blue LED lit button – it looks good and is a visual reminder that the power is on.
I quite like this product but am not as completely ‘sold’ on it as I was expecting. It’s fair value at just under 18. To have things looking ‘correct’ you will probably be using the adapter’s 4 sockets underneath the wall socket most of the time. If, however, you have some Australian guests then I am sure they will very much appreciate the ‘upside down’ sockets…
First one I have come across where you can have the plugs above the power point or below it. It is useful having this choice. However if you know what you want there are many available cheaper alternatives that don’t have this flexibility. With the screws fully out on the back (see picture) the plugs will slide easily into the socket. I have several of this modern type of plug which incorporates usb sockets. Saves having to take up a plug socket with an adapter.
Great option to be able to swivel the bar in order to use it in different locations; a simple press and hold of the centre button whilst swivelling the bar.
The individual plug power buttons click and turn blue to show which plugs are being used and the adjustable knobs at the back provide a bit of stability when connecting / removing a plug or pressing a power button, but I still feel it necessary to hold the bar to stop any slight wobble.
3 WAY UK EXTENSION PLUG WITH 3 USB PORTS. 180 DEGREE ROTATION BUTTON. POWER OR CHARGE 6 DEVICES AT THE SAME TIME. 4 INDEPENDENT ON/OFF BUTTONS WHEN NOT IN USE. NON BLOCKING DESIGN AND SURGE PROTECTION.
* Ingenious rotating design that makes a single 13A socket in an awkward position much more useful.
* The two screw-out stabilisers are a clever touch that makes the whole thing much more stable when inserting plugs.
* Perhaps it does not give the impression of being built solid for the ages, and I’m sure that rotation is not intended for frequent use.
The Mscien wall extension plug replaces a single mains wall socket with 3 sockets plus you also get 3 USB 5V charging ports, although the maximum total current is limited to 2.4A. A 13 Amp fuse is fitted as standard.
Each socket has its own individual switch and there is a single switch to control all 3 USB ports. The switches illuminate blue when they are on and they have to be pressed right in before they latch on or off.
The extension plug can be rotated 180 degrees so it can sit either above or below the existing socket, although the layout of the sockets suggest that it is meant to sit above the existing socket. I checked that the live and neutral went to the correct pins no matter which way round this extension was fitted, they did.
When you use this type of extension, the plug can move out of the wall socket when you plug other devices in, to stop this happening, there are two adjustable feet at the back of the extension which can be screwed out until they make contact with the wall.
The extension plug is designed for a single socket but as you can see from the photos, it can be used with double sockets but it can be problematic because of how the wires will run.
There are no negative points for this extension plug, it works, it adds extra sockets and USB charging ports, plus it can be mounted above or below the existing socket.
I got this plug adaptor with a use in mind and it works perfectly for this. I needed an extension plug for one of our sockets. Living in a relatively old house means we don’t have as many sockets as we would like and they are often located in awkward places. The plug socket I needed this product for is behind a bed.
Having read other reviews, the packaging and the listing I realised that you needed to extend the two stabilisers on each side of the plug so I did this before plugging in, gauging roughly how far I needed to extend them. I then plugged in the unit. I realised straight away that it would not work in this position as it was not properly plugged in. I therefore used the button to turn the plug on the unit and plugged it back into the socket — it made a positive connection this time; you can have the unit facing upwards or downwards on a socket depending on what works best and it is easy to make the necessary adjustment on the unit.
I unplugged the unit and plugged in three plugs (maximum) and one USB cable (two more ports available) and plugged the unit back into the wall socket. Slight problem — due to the position of the bed and other furniture I could not reach to turn on each plug/port. I therefore unplugged the unit again and switched on each plug and port on it before plugging it back into the wall socket. Success!
I think this unit will work well for me and I like that it has surge protection too. I am pleased with this product and am happy to recommend. The current price point of 20.99 does seem a little steep, as other reviewers have commented, so it might be worth shopping around. However, the overall look and build quality of this item does look good.
This 4 in 1 wall socket plug works well. There is individual on/off switch for each plug. The 180 degree rotation works easy by just pressing on the button and rotate it.
Having 3 regular sockets *and* 3 USB ports that can be individually controlled in such a portable plug is great. The length of the unit does make it a little unstable at times. However, it’s great for some situations. It might be on the pricey side, but features such as built-in surge protection will make this a winner for some.
Love how compact this is, so good to find an extension bar without a cable. This plugs into a double socket and does not block the other socket as it sits above it and does not get in the way. I can even charge my torch and power bank etc using the USB ports. There are adjustable knobs at the rear so you can stabilise it against the wall, that is a brilliant idea, and it works well. Each socket is individually switched, even the 3 USB charging sockets have a switch to operate them as a single bank.
The whole unit has surge protection, that is important especially here where our electricity is supplied by a cable connecting to a box on the wall outside, the lid is loose and there are birds inside, last time they did that we lost our earth to the whole block. There is a fuse that can be changed too, access is on the rear.
There are no rattles inside, it does not overheat, and the switches are good quality.
This is really good as it got a .ain’t power switch also it’s got individual switches for each plug and the USB and ctype connectors, really good value for money and excellent quality 5stars
This Mscien extension plug has a few clever design features and works really well.
A few years ago, I bought an extension plug similar in shape to this but it didn’t work very well because every time I pushed a new plug in, the whole thing moved around. In contrast, this Mscien extension plug has two adjustable knobs at the back. By extending these until they are flush against the wall, the whole plug is now very stable. I can remove plugs and push new plugs in and the whole extension plug stays firmly in place.
All of the USB ports and sockets operate as expected. I really like that each plug has its own switch. The switches work well and have a soft blue LED light behind them to indicate when they are switched on or off.
Overall, I really like this. It has been designed well so that it sits against my socket and wall securely – and everything is working as expected.
My daughter struggles to get her computer into the socket due to the block charge plug on her Mac. The skirting-board and socket are too close together, but then we are living in an old house.
This extension plugs allows her to plug in her computer with ease, lifting it out of the way of the skirt-board. It’s easy to use and the USB ports are a great addition.
A happy teenager makes for a happy house, and now she can plug in her straighteners, computer and hairdryer. We are all winners with this extension plug.
Pros:
It’s great that it can take 3 standard UK plugs and 3 usb plugs
Easy to transport, doesn’t take up much space +good for travel etc)
It can be used with the plug sockets above or below the main socket
Cons:
Quite pricey compared to other extension or multi leads
It’s a but wobbly and not very stable when plugged in (imagine a standard extension lead plugged into a wall) I don’t see how that could be solved though.
** I’ve just noticed that there are 2 screws which can be extended to make it less wobbly so that’s now been solved!**
This works well and it’s easy to set up and use.
This works well and it’s easy to set up and use.
I always like it when an item works simply and flawlessly, this item works simply and flawlessly. Basically you get four three pin sockets that can rotate through 180 degrees on a three pin plug. Each socket has a power button. There is a separate button to undo the lock and allow the sockets extension chassis to move through that 180 degrees in only one direction. It’s such a simple mechanism and the design of this item needs to be appreciated, because it allows for skirting boards, other plugs, switches, anything that get’s in the way. To ensure that the four socket chassis stays rigid, there are two wheels on the back of this item that can be adjusted by turning each wheel so they press up against the wall. At a price point of 17.99 it’s a tidy way of adding another three sockets to the one that was originally there, no cables as in ordinary extension sockets, and it takes up very little space as it is up against the wall. I suppose you could add this to an extension socket set already there, but I won’t advise that you do that. This item is also very safe as it has surge protection and 13A fuse, it’s CE and ROHS certified. Five stars.
A very innovative design 1 socket to 4 wall adopter with individual switches. The 4 sockets adopter is made of a very high quality material and finishing is of a very high standard. It is all tested and approved which you can read in description. I like to make my review short and concise.
Extension adopter does stick out about 50mm from the wall as a whole but I have raised wall sockets that sticks out about 10mm hence the distance from my wall sockets to this extension is as 10mm on top so basically 20mm gap but nothing to worry about as it is a well thought out design wall sockets extension and comes with two adjustable feet to fill the gap so extension is rock solid when plugging in a appliance. I was initially worried about this as my previous different brand extension which I also bought from Amazon did not have those support feet.
Blue LED light indicates if switch is on. It is a push in soft switch system and I have plugged it into my bedside sockets to give me room to plug in all my things I need. I have a sleep machine, a Mobile phone charger, a table lamp, a alarm clock and a radio machine.
I am very impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it.
Mscien Multi Plug Adopter, Plug Extension with Independent Switches, 4 Way Plug Adapter UK
I have a few 4 way extensions similar to this design, some positioned above the socket and others below. This extension actually incorporates both configurations as you can manually turn the socket extension round by 180 degrees thus catering for all types of socket locations around the home, a very clever design indeed.
Packaging and delivery
This comes supplied boxed and the extension is wrapped in a soft silicon material.
Package contents
You guessed it – 1 x Extension socket!
Setup
Just plug in and use, adjust the wall support plugs at the back and this is ready to go.
Function and quality
This has been made to a good quality, smooth on the eye and should fit in with most dcor. The extension bears the British Standards mark on the unit plus it’s fitted with a 13A fuse which is accessible if it ever needs changing.
The genius of this design is that it can be turned around. For instance, if this is facing downwards and connected into a twin socket you can’t use the second socket as the extension will be in the way of the 2nd plugs wire, one can simply, at a press of a button, turn this round thus freeing up that 2nd socket for use. This process is very easy to do and is done in literally seconds, of course one wouldn’t adjust the orientation of this extension whilst it was switched on at the mains, best disconnect the power supply first.
With the extension facing upwards, the sockets are facing you the correct way, if you move the extension down then the sockets are upside down, so bear that in mind when considering where to position this extension socket.
Each socket has its own switch, these work perfectly with no issues. We have a built in surge protector thus if anything happens the unit will disconnect.
The rear wall stabilisers are very effective and basically ensure the socket doesn’t move when inserting a plug.
Conclusion
A fantastic ‘T’ design extension which allows this to be moved around the home without having ever to use those fixed designed products, well worth the money.
Highly recommended.

This is a 4 way multiplug with individually switched output sockets. Its party piece is that the input plug on the back can be rotated in 90-degree increments so as to enable the sockets to fit even with a plug close to a skirting board, for example.
The switches are push-to-make-and-break, not conventional up-and-down switches, but they seem to work ok and are lit in blue when on. The output sockets all have the standard UK earth pin activated shutter, so it looks safe enough.
The bit I don’t like is that two small feet are provided on the back which can be rotated to adjust how far they stick out, and are designed to be tightened against the wall, as otherwise the push-to-make switches tend to pull the multiblock out of the socket. These do work after a fashion, but feel rather flimsy.
But other than that, this does the job.
Thus is such a good idea. It gives you four more sockets exactly where you need them. You can fit it up either way which is great if you are near a skirting board or too low to the floor. Just press the button and turn the three pin plug around. Easy.
Nice subtle blue lights when in use.
Highly recommended
Very functional, well designed multi plug adapter. The ability to have the adapter above or below the socket thanks to its 180 degree rotation is quite handy. You can isolate the power to only the appliances you need at the time instead of all on or all off, also handy, and helps save power. The back adjuster screw’s help brace the adapter against the wall when putting plugs in. Access to the fuse also helps with longevity. Well designed multi plug adapter.
This is really good for those fiddley spaces or crevices, each got there own switch for single or all of em operating easy to use great quality and excellent value for money 5stars
The extension block can either go above or below the existing wall socket (the input socket can be rotated by 180 degrees).
I did check and the fuse is in circuit in the line side and the polarity of the sockets remains the same whichever way up it goes.
Safety shutters are okay and the four off/on buttons with blue LED indicators work.
The adjustable spacers between the rear of the unit and the wall make plugging things in easier and operation of the off/on buttons but you still need to hold on to it to pull a plug out.
This Miscion Four-Way Adaptor is well designed. The master plug which you plug into the wall socket can be rotated through 180 degrees so the extension sockets can be above or below the plug. Secondly, there are some screw-out wall pads that when properly set prevent the unit from flexing against the wall when you push a plug in.
The unit has a single 13 Amp fuse and carries the CE, RoHS, Double Insulated Mark, and the relatively new UKCA Mark which is like the former CE label, but contrary to what is said on this page, my sample did not have a BS marking.
Each of the four outlets has press switches that have affirmative action and a blue LED confirms when the power is on. The sockets feel well-engineered in that plugs fit snugly into them. I also like the fact that when plugged into my twin 13 Amp socket this unit leaves the socket at the side of it accessible.
I really like this extension socket because it’s so well designed and providing you remember the cumulative loading restriction it should give good service.
This is a pretty good multi-plug adapter. It has all the usual relatively high end features that might be expected – individual plug on/off buttons illuminated in blue when on, a replaceable 13 amp fuse and all three plug pin holes have plastic shields for safety even though an earth shield isn’t required. Spacing between the plug sockets is also good. Certainly bulky plugs will fit.
I guess the ‘T’ shaped design is the most interesting feature. This allows the row of four sockets to sit either above or below the socket used to power the unit. A button on the front of the adapter allows the rear UK three-pin plug to circle through 180 degrees. The manufacture photos demonstrate this well. Particularly when used with the row of sockets above the fixed plug, gravity makes the whole installation feel a bit rickety. However, cleverly there are two extendable stabilisers that when touching the wall make the whole setup feel more robust.
Less positively, while the construction seems good, the unit feels a bit light, but that helps the T design to work. Bizarrely, and not a criticism of the manufacturer, the item was delivered just in its fairly small product box with no outer box. It was undamaged though.
Overall, I wonder what the advantages of the T shape design are. It attracts the eye more than the usual cube-like plug extension adapter, and not in a particularly good way. In the vast majority of situations where I’ve needed an extension socket, and I need lots of them, I’d choose a cube design. As such this product is really for quite special, perhaps even unique situations.
In sum, it’s a good product with all the features that would be expected. The T design, whilst strange, works well, and it’s not expensive. I’d assess it as a 4 star product just because a buyer needs to think of the specific benefits of this design.
