I use it to power leisure battery/garden lights.
It is now 6 months mounted on corrugated garage roof, supplying power to my leisure battery. Maintenance free and no issues as of yet.
Excellent product and good value. Unboxed it the day after it arrived and was very impressed with build quality. Before installing, I tested the performance at 9am by connecting to a power station and the panel was already producing 165W. It was a very sunny morning, but the output was much better than expected so early in a morning in UK – for us, this product is definitely worth 5 stars. Panel was light and easy to fit, once fixing brackets were on.
Would have given 5 star’s for overall rating but item was delivered a day later than advised by Amazon.

I bought this for my rented garage that has no electricity. I got a CCTV setup with a mifi hocked to a car battery. I’m sick and tired of carrying a heavy mobility scooter battery from a to b from my flat every week. So I decided to get this, with it a voltage tester and I’ve got an old inverter.
I hooked up last night when it light outside but not too bright. Didn’t get a result.
I hooked it up today and eureka. It works! Charging the battery despite the clouds, not as fast but it’s good enough.
I then did a second check, the magic energy check I call it. Hooking the inverter to the solar panel itself with no battery hooked up. Would you believe it 20v on a 150w inverter……..It worked, although I haven’t tested a house appliance. I think this will work out.
Connected the 150watt inverter to the fish pond and hooked it up to the solar panel. Not powerful enough to work unless I connected a battery up like car or motorcycle battery with the solar panel. But it battery didn’t charge up, the battery went down.
Top quality from a great company you can trust. I use these on all my builds.
The product was slightly larger than expected but is also easy to transport with being rigid constuction compared to folding panels. Produces about 8W when cloudy up to 169W in more clearer skies so far in this mostly cloudy Spring there has been only one cloudless day and sunny where I live but hope to improve on 169W in full Summer.
I’ve bought loads of these over time and there the best panels I’ve ever had. There smart looking very well made and I’ve hit 100 Watts some times slightly more out of them each testing on sunny days. What more could you want from a 100 watt panel.
The Renogy 100W Solar Panel is a high-efficiency monocrystalline module perfect for anyone looking to power their motorhome, boat, caravan, campervan or off-grid applications. After using this solar panel for several months, I can confidently say it is one of the best investments I have made.
One of the standout features of this solar panel is its high-efficiency monocrystalline cells, which can convert more sunlight into electricity than other types of cells. This means that even on cloudy days, I can still generate enough power to keep my devices charged and my appliances running.
The panel is also incredibly durable, with a sturdy aluminium frame and tempered glass that can withstand even the harsh. It’s also an excellent option for those who want to set up their solar power system without professional help.
But what sets this solar panel apart is its versatility. Not only is it great for use in off-grid applications, but it can also be used to supplement the power of a traditional power source, such as in a motorhome or boat. This has allowed me to save money on my energy bills and reduce my carbon footprint.
Overall, I highly recommend the Renogy 100W Solar Panel to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient way to generate electricity. Its high-efficiency cells, durable construction, and versatility make it an excellent investment for anyone who values sustainability and energy independence.I use it mainly to recharge my solar generato
Received today and tested. Hazy sunshine and lots of cloud cover. Mid March in UK so Sun fairly low in sky but breaks in cloud gave a max of 125watts, Bright cloud still showed 25 Watts, full cloud cover registered 0watts. Good figures for this panel, recommended.
A good all round, well made solar panel. I have one on my campervan and one for a solar power station. The maximum rating I have had is 114w on a clear sunny day so can’t complain there although it needs almost all the panel, 90% approx sunshine on the panel before it starts to work. This can be a problem it there is a tree branch, telegraph pole or anything shading part of the panel. I also fails to give power on some bright, overcast days which is a disappointment. I also have a 50w panel but will try a different make next time.
They look good, are a fair price, and others I’ve bought have lasted well.
The package arrived damaged (delivered by Hermes, so that’s a given), but as it was so well packaged, the panel itself was perfectly fine. I had an issue at first with the wattage fluctuating wildly, however this turned out to be a mixture of the Victron charge controller, and my lack of knowledge on the subject. Once I had figured out how everything is supposed to work together, I could see that the panel was working perfectly.
I would recommend Renogy, and I WILL be purchasing several more over the coming months 🙂
Bought this Panel to go with my allpowers powerbank but it’s not the same connector.
Panel itself is great as far as I can tell no obvious damage.
Great panel and good value for money. I made the mistake of buying a cheap China 300 watt kit, more power in a right hand. I have it working my 12v motor pond filter system, can’t fault it at all. The only thing is you need full on sun. Don’t believe sellers who say daylight alone will work. I am an electrician so I know my stuff
I got these at a very good deal
Waiting for next deal to get more to build my solar system
Quality made product with good output when conditions are right.they are lightweight but very sturdy.
i use this panel to keep 412volt 105ah batteries. and so far they are doing the job.now we are in autumn the light is lowe .so as we’d expect it to struggle a bit .so i brought a wind turbine to help out , but its a very good panel from a know company. they know how to build quality products
These panels have been a great addition to my portable power generator. They are a nice size and have so far (almost 1 month) performed very well when its sunny outside…when its cloudier then dont produce as much energy as expected.
They are currently in a temporary setup but I plan to expand the setup when I am settled in my new house abroad.
I now have 4 of these panels on the shed roof along with a Renogy charge controller and 200AH of batteries. The panels are good and do put out their stated 100W in ideal conditions. Even in less than ideal conditions they put out a decent amount of power, certainly enough to keep my batteries topped up.
The panels are nicely made, connectors are of good quality. All in all I would recommend them as a great starting point for any basic solar set-up.
Really good product. I’ve not setup the panels correctly yet and it’s a cloudy day and I’m getting 9-10 amps which is about 90% working for the two panel’s. Happy days
I have 3 100w panels from renogy paired with a 40amp renogy rover mppt charge controller and a renogy 3000w inverter. All products are of good quality and i will be purchasing more from renogy in the future
Arrived early. Purchased with power oak battery. Easy to set up . Was all up and charging within 5 mins of receipt. Durable and good value for money. Charging of phones and laptop now are not adding to the electric bill. Would buy agai
Amazing panel getting 157watts from just one, ordered 2 more I’m so happy with the solar panel not heavy just feels like quality and has a strong frames. I will add more after testing with all 3 🙂
Really good quality items. I brought 3 of these in the end and they all work as they advertise. only had them hooked up for 3 weeks so far but been plan sailing. I bought all mine with the fitting kits with it suggests which are also really good! when ordering make sure you click the 5% discount button! its money off for free so why wouldn’t you!
Just getting started in off grid. Rising electricity on CLs now is getting out of hand. I bought a epever 40amp controller as well and so far so good.
Back to basic CL sites here we come.
Well built panel with mc4 connection seems sturdy holes for fitting aluminium brackets not needed as I fitted to roof of caravan with plastic corner brackets and sikaflex121 “reccomended” weight wise 7kg is about average for 100 watt panel connection are about 400 mm long so extension cables required so far so good
Awesome, as soon as it arrived I put it on top of my van.
At 09:00 in the morning sun I was getting 160w I couldn’t believe it I have a much more expensive allpowers 200w which at the most I have got 110w from.
This product is well built and will probably last a lifetime, I love i
I use it with a Solar power station, works great.
These are exactly what you think they are. A well finished aluminium frame with a good selection of mounting holes (I used cable-ties, tucked away out of the sun) –
Performance? Depends entirely on the sun – so no comment but work on a regular 80% output and you won’t be disappointed. Price/quality is right so I’m happy.
I have three in parrallel supplying a Li-Po power station without problem. 10-30v, 300w max = 10amps – will add one more panel for the duration of the winter when output will be less. All good – Buy.
Very efficient panel that gives more wattage than quoted.
I have had 222w from Two 100w panels.
I am more than pleased and have since purchased two more
I got these 2x 100 Watt panels to mount on the roof of my van. Not had a full day of sun yet but on the few occasions the sun has broken the clouds the panels have been putting out more than expected. Highest I’ve seen so far reported by my 40amp Renogy Rover MPPT controller is 256 Watts. I was expecting less than the advertised 200 Watts but am getting more. Even with cloud cover the 2 panels in series are performing well. I threw together a tilting bracket for the van so I can angle them as needed. Phenomenal value for money.
Bought this to go with our campervan. The MC4 cables are ideal for connecting to a Bluetti type powerbank. On a sunny-ish day in Yorkshire, it was putting in at least 68 watts. On cloudy days it still puts in a little amount. It’s hefty and big so needs to be roof mounted ideally. Ended up buying the extension cable afterwards to give us more flexibility for where it goes until it’s fixed on the roof.
Bought 2 100w solar panels small issue dealt with professionally by company would recommend testing one panel working great overall great product buy .new to solar started journey well we must always remember these products need to be handled with care when placing nothing is indestructible
I live in Scotland, so far I’ve only used it in the summer but I have seen it hit 86W. Not bad for 56 degrees north. Works well enough in cloudy condition too, getting up to 20W on occasion. I mostly use it for camping and charging a big battery pack.
Overall impressed so far.
I’m not sure if mine is faulty or not yet. When the sun was shining on a clear sky it reached 6.8 amps. When it went cloudy it dropped to 0.3 amps. Its a hot hazy day today and its showing 3 amps. Only time will tell as the summer progresses. . 5 star for delivery though, with it being next day.
This was my first solar panel purchased as a introduction to solar power. Starting off small and hopefully expanding as i get experience, chose Renogy based on their good reputation worldwide. Due to covid , delivery was slightly delayed but renogy customer service were excellent and kept me informed until delivered. Although i have only had item a short time, i am really impressed with quality and i am confident i will buy more Renogy panels in near future. Tip : watch videos on youtube for great tips / advice on how to build a basic beginner project, Wish i had started this years ago.
All fine, delivered quickly without damage.
Easy set up. The only slight issue being that the appearance differed from the photo somewhat… I had hoped that the panel, (being an addition to the array on my narrow boat), would match the existing ones. The type supplied was a plain lined panel rather than the sort depicted with the diamond pattern.
No matter, happy otherwise.
I bought this to fit an existing Bimini frame that I adapted. Exactly as described. Working great at the moment through a MTTP controlle
Easy to set up, got the bluetooth add on and downloaded the app on the mobile so I could do the settings and check what was going on with my solar system from anywhere in the house
Bought this to charge a 12 battery and it has done a good job. This is just the panel so to get the most from it when charging a battery you will need an MPTT charge controller. I bought a cheap bare pcb one for 12 which works well.
The optimal voltage to get maximum power output is around 18v for this panel.
It consistently generates enough power to keep the 12Ah SLA charged
Bought a second panel and they sold it to me and help back the wires so I have to buy the extra wires I found this a little bit of a pis* take as I paid for the panel.
Feel as if I been dun.
Bum deal renogy….
This seems a good product although i sent mine back due to needing the control equipment to go with the panel this would have made the product more costly than i had budgetted.
This works very well on my campervan and was simply to install.
The panel came well packaged with enough protection on the corners.
It performs well and the construction looks good quality. Will it last 20 years? No idea!
Delivery was fast and installation was easy (at least compared to heavier 300w panels).
These are pretty good been happy so far. A good solar panel for British climate. I got 2 panels at first was so happy got another 2.taking me up to 400watt. Would advise buying the Renogy 40 Amp MPPT charger. As a kit with panels.
Purchased this in the summer ready for a mini solar project using a Ubiquiti SolarPoint charger, NanoBeam UVC G3 plus a few extras. I was a bit delayed in getting it all set up and ready but after buying the panel in July and getting my set up ready on the first day of October I can say I was very surprised on the efficiency of this panel, for a 100W panel you’d never expect 100% efficiency but my SolarPoint logs to something called UNMS so I have detailed logs and on a sunny Autumn day it has been charging at 95-97 watts.
This was the second Renogy 100w Monocrystalline panel I bought and it is now connected in series with the original on my garage roof as shown in the photos. The size was ideal for me to climb a ladder and single-handedly haul up onto the garage roof. As you can see, I created a supporting frame using decking strips and some rectangular hollow aluminium tube sections to make the angle struts. Found some galvanized angle strips that allow me to connect from the aluminium strips to the decking to support the solar panels at the required angle. Used M6 bolts to connect the struts to the angle strips. Not wanting to make any holes in the garage roof, I used a couple of breeze blocks as ballast weights to hold the panels down. It survived the recent storm gales without a problem. Am planning to fit a further pair of panels later this summer.
Great solar pannal shame not available with black frame but masked and sprayed mine so easy solution winter months and still getting a healthy charge even when raining and dull pushing 14.2 on 2 800amp batteries so can’t Complain will be buying more in the future to upgrade an existing system!
UPDATE: Nearly 1 year on and still going strong.
Professional make 95%efficient excellent quality thank you you are 25%cheaper than other less quality brands with super fast delivery
hese panels are very good well made this is my sixth panel my caravan friend loved them and i bought some for him
Part of a panel of 4 connected to a micro-inverter
Light easy to move around and a low cost upgrade to my existing system
I only found out after purchase that parallel cables were available for connectio
Strong and sturdy construction, easily fitted to my caravan roof using mounting brackets and adhesive.
Great product 47 v ac with two barrels i For hinges catches and a carrying handle and made it into folding panels
