==original: We liked this mixer system in the beginning. But within 9 months the temperature control started malfunctioning (sticking). Now (almost a year) it is almost impossible to turn it down fully when it has water running through it – meaning if it is turned up too hot, the water flow has to be switched off completely in order to be able to wiggle it down into a lower temperature position. Very frustrating.
And it is not straight forward to open it up to try to troubleshoot. It has tabs on the side that look like they can be popped off to get at a screw to be able to open it up, but the access notch to the tab is so tiny – when I found a small enough screwdriver it just would not pop open. It just gets scratched.
It’s my first time to have a rainfall shower and I love it! The water temperature in taps is perfect. Switching between handheld shower and rainfall shower is easy. Really happy with this purchase
Brought this for the shower room and it works beautifully. I did a lot of research before deciding on this one – so glad I did
Whilst researching how much a new thermostatic valve was going to be for my old shower, I discovered this Solepearl shower was only slightly dearer than buying the valve on its own.
After measuring the distance between the inlets (150mm) I decided to take a punt on it and I’m so glad I did!
I’m not a plumber, but I found it really easy to fit. I just switched the water off, removed the old one and the new one slotted straight onto the old fittings. I just added a bit of fresh ptfe tape.
90 minutes after starting the job I was in the shower!
Apart from the separate shower head, the entire thing is made of metal and not cheap chrome coloured plastic. It looks fantastic and the controls are really easy to use and the temperature control is easy to adjust.
I would highly recommend this shower, both in terms of looks and functionality but also for ease of fitting. You also don’t have to buy any extras to fit it apart from a bit of PTFE tape.

Arrived quickly and was well packaged. On unpacking, the parts were all well packed, sealed and undamaged. The mixer itself is very smart and good quality. Very sturdy and nice to use. The fixings and pole are all fine with easy to ready instructions. Easy to install. I have mine fitted with a 2 bat shower pump and it works great.
My only complaints are the quality of the shower heads themselves and the hand held shower head hose. However given the price I can’t really argue.
Well worth the money but would recommend buying better quality heads and hose separately.

This is very reasonable shower in this range. its working properly and now point is how long it lasts.
It’s a great shower and it looks phenomenal, the pressure is not the best though. It’s not horrible, but compared to the previous installed shower it’s a lot lower, which means that showering takes longer for long hair – if that doesn’t bother you and you just care a lot about design, I would recommend.

Looks great, fab pressure on rain shower but the smaller hand held head feels like cheap plastic and is not nearly as good as the main shower head which is a bit of a shame

I was skeptical about buying a Chinese shower.
It was easy to install with 150mm pipe Center’s, I used a connection kit from Screwfix to install it as the shower comes with 22-15 mm reducer kit whic is over complicated and pushed the shower away from the wall. It was easy to install and the thermostat seems to work well even if toilet flushed while showering. The overhead shower is a real treat while being able to use the shower head if you want more pressure.
I like the shower as it runs down into the tub rather than spray over the tiles etc like the normal shower head does.
This was my first concealed shower install and it was straight forward.
Using Screwfix item 8669H. To mount it instead of its own one.
I 3D printed myself a 150mm pipe jig for 15mm pipes and I’m very pleased.
I was skeptical at first before buying this. Sub 100 sounded like it would be cheap and nasty but I was pleasantly surprised.
Installation was easy. Didn’t need the stepdowns so was a 1:1 fit the the existing. I would advise you use some silicone jell for the washers so they stay seated and aligned then you fit the thermostat as the washers have raised lines. All the fittings were easy to connect. Just make sure the main shower is screwed on tight.
Usage wise I have come across a few niggles. The resting temperature seems way high, over 38c. Needs adjusting prior to actual use so you don’t scold yourself. There is a whining sound similar to some of those hotel showers. Not a deal breaker though. It’s not an instant on shower head. It takes a second of two to fully get going. It does instantly stop though, the main head doesn’t drip at all but the hand shower dead takes a few seconds to fully stop.
The thermostat is not a cool one so it will be hot to the touch. It does mix the water well so no fluctuations in temperature.
The shower head has four settings for your preferred usage. The handle does feel overly large with a slight light cheap plastic feeling to it.
So far so good.

Very easy to install and looks great.
Temperature control is very good and the drench head is fantastic and the partner loves the other head for hair washing.
I have sold others at 3 times the price but this is as good as any of the famous mames!
Positive early impressions:
On receipt is was obviously very well packaged to ensure reaching the customer in good order. Nothing was missing and the chrome plating is of a high standard.
Fitting: straight forward without any difficulty.
Usage: Two months of daily use at the time of review.
Temperature control is excellent, even when someone else turns on a cold tap or flushes a WC, and spray distribution from the overhead can is even across the entire surface.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone who wants buy a good quality unbranded unit at an attractive price.
Everything works great, simple enough to install although we had a plumber do it however our package arrived missing the bracket to hold the hand shower in place. Thankfully Amazon refunded the full amount as the missing part wasn’t available. Hence 4 stars.
Got the product, easy to install in place of the current shower. The hand held shower works great the top one is a bit nosiy, but still good value for money.
Bought this item for bathroom improvement. The system was faulty upon installation but the unit was replaced with speed by the seller. Whilst I recommend the product, I am more impressed by the excellent customer service

This was bought for a revamp of my bathroom. Looks great (little hard to clean, water marks persistant around on & off bar). Good value for money and is a wonderful shower!!!

Unfortunately shower was not compatible with our current set up. However lovely quality.
The product itself was very easy to fit as a replacement for an existing Bristan shower unit. Any person in Ireland wishing to fit one will not need to use the smaller pipe adapters as the fitting goes directly onto a half inch outlet pipe. Overall it’s an excellent product, manufactured and packaged with care and easy to fit as a replacement shower unit. Excellent value as well.

Great shower at a great price. 85 quid as opposed to 200 at b&q. Looks lovely. Works a treat. Would highly recommend. I’ve actually bought a 2nd 1 for my daughter for her new home. She’s thrilled with it too. Fast delivery too.
Don’t know whether it’s me because my old shower head was about the size of the hand held on on this but it feels a waterfall under this nice big shower head. Nearly all parts feel quality. The only exception to this is the shower heads. They feel a bit plasticity. Overhead isn’t noticeable but the had held one is. It’s still a nice shower though
This is being installed outside under cover for when we get out of our hot tub. We are replacing our other one we have, worth the money
There is a lot of adjustment on the actual head, and not just height even angle witch is good. Also you can select spray pressure on the hand head as well. If I remember right its 4 setings. Realy easy to use and it is a nice design too.If you have a shower pl8, it is straight forward to install it. So if you want to grab a bargain go for it.

A good piece of equipment, everything you need so no worries about compatibility. Works well and the hand held shower has a few settings. All in all a good buy. Obviously too early to comment on it long term as I only put it up 2 days ago but seems pretty good to me.
