Ich finde es lt die Feuerschale besser aussehen und schtzt den Boden darunter. Ich denke wer sich die yukon leisten kann, wird sich auch diesen Ring zulegen. Ansonsten relativ leicht durch andere Sachen zu ersetzen.
What I didn’t realize until I bought the stove is that is a second general generation Solo. The current Solo stove you can take the bottom out to clean. Not sure if this would’ve kept me from buying a second generation Solo. I have to buy a fire pit every three or four years because they rust out. Hopefully, I will have a longer time between replacing fire pits, hopefully never.
For a little added Heights in case you’re worried about whatever the fire pit is sitting on definitely helps it to breathe a little better and stay cool on the bottom
I like that it fits without having to take off the fire ring.
I feel like the small steel ring is a tad over priced
When winter ends we will use it on our patio. Our son has had the bonfire model for several years. We really like the the lack of smoke it puts out and it is clean burning with great heat. Easy to start. We are looking forward to when we can afford to add the pizza oven top unit.
Best investment, GREAT product, we got such enjoyment out of it I not use the cast iron yet but we’ve done smores and hot dog. Work ever dime of your money.
Does exactly what it’s supposed to. Not much more to say about it!
We have our Youkon sitting on a wood deck and this gives that piece of mind that we won’t burn the deck when using .
Was cheaper on AMAZON than direct from Solo Stove’s site
This part is needed if you place on a deck to prevent damage to wood.
While the fire pit functions perfectly without this ring adds options for many users. Same quality workmanship!
