I love this camera. I move it about the garden to capture different wildlife. I find having a tripod gives you a better way of getting close. There is another version now with Bluetooth which I’d like to look at. To see the photos and videos on this camera you need to go to the camera to contact to your phone. That’s my only downside. Would I recommend-yes definitely
It’s not the cheapest unit but it certainly performs more than adequately for the price. Overall I’m very happy.
This camera does everything I needed to capture video and photographs of nightlife in the garden. Exceeded my expectations! As described elsewhere, the battery compartment needs a good tug to remove – it seems to catch part way out, just pull harder and it comes out ok.
Would definitely buy again.

I had an earlier version of this camera, for no apparent reason, after some 4 months of use, it stopped working, contacted this seller, UsoGood about this, who contacted me back very quickly, after an exchange of information e-mails a replacement one was shipped to me, no fuss what so ever.
This is a great little camera and I love using it.
We use this camera every night to watch the fox and the hedgehogs.
The only issue I have is that every few days I have trouble connecting to the camera to look at the images and videos.
The motion sensor is ok. But does pick up movement a little later than my old camera.
The batteries need changing every few days, depending on how much movement there is, but you can also set a timer for this going on and off, so we just have ours set for the evening through to morning.
We use rechargeable batteries to cut costs and waste.

Picture quality really good for the money
We use it to watch the nature in the garden (hedgehogs, birds etc), and it is perfect for that.
I use the camera in a suburban garden in Cambridge. Works brilliant both day and night (see video). Batteries last for weeks without changing but need to use good quality. Very pleased with results and check every day with breakfast.
This camera was a gift from my dad and has been put to good use. We used it throughout our last holiday to see what animals we were sharing the forest with, it had great battery life, motion detector was flawless picking up everything from birds and rodents to squirrels and foxes. It’s great to be able to connect it straight to your phone to see all the pictures and videos it has captured and would recommend to others.

Very Impressed, I live in woodland and always wonder what come into my garden at night. Happy to see we have a Vexen Fox that come every night as well get to see what my Chonk of a cat get up to when he outside in the day. I have it set up and leave it for a week then go check on it, even been out in hideous weather and stood up to it all.
Recently discover with the Cam we have a wall vole and wood mice that are every so tiny and cute!

It was very easy to set up and get running and works equally well both during the day and at night.
The camouflaged case disguises the camera so that it blends into the natural surroundings in my garden.
I am considering buying a second camera to capture the wildlife in another part of my garden.
Ordered Sunday morning and received Sunday evening. 5 stars for delivery. But it burns through batteries ! Used 2 sets of Duracell batteries in 3 days at 8 a time? Running overnight with photo/video on. Will happily retract this review if someone why it’s doing this. It has a time lapse mode to take picture like a seed growing into a flower??? Aside from having to move the camera to change the batteries thus ruining the time lapse image it would cost hundreds of pounds!

We purchased this to see what wildlife was in our garden and so far it’s worked well and we have loved checking it through out the day and in the mornings to see who’s visited , the night vision quality is great its definetly allowed us a bit more insight into our nightly garden visitors

We have been able to capture very clear images of badgers, squirrels, and all sorts of birds visiting our garden.
The Mobile Phone app can use some improvement but it is still usable.
If you have a lot of photos, it’s faster to just extract the SD card and transfer the images directly.
Customer Services has also been very helpful.
Updating from first review
Bought this as have had rats move in under decking area 🙁 and wanted to see their paths and numbers.
Positioned it in different areas and did not really had much luck at first but started to get some decent videos now trial and error.
Doesn’t always pick up the rats as they enter though, usually catch them mid visit! If I go and stand in from of the camera it picks me up fine straight away so it might just be small animals it doesn’t recognise from the off.
I wouldn’t say the instructions were great and it was easy to set up either. Doesn’t mention anywhere about going to ‘format’ section for the SD card to work.
Battery will go quickly if lots of videos are being captured, I’d say lasts a few days catching 4-5 20 second vids.
Clarity is excellent. Will be good to see activity in spring.

So The form factor is that the same as the other Wildlife cameras but that’s where the similarities stop with my older style.
This one has 3 sensors that detect movement and triggers the camera to record. from the footage I’ve had this is really works well as the camera is recording even before the object comes into shot.
The footage I’ve got off it so far has been crystal clear. At night time you get really sharp pictures, to the point where you can see the feathers on an owl in my case.
The app works well and connects strong when i’m under the tree, from testing 10m is a bit of a push at the maximum distance.

I bought this item for my new hobby, camping! I wasn’t really sure if I would enjoy with this product, but actually I really loved it. It is very easy to use and also very good quality. It connected to my phone in 10 sec. And then easily connected to the app which was clearly explained in their manual guide. Once I configured it, I just switched to do operation mode and leave it to a corner to see the quality. Result was really amazing. I’m looking forward to go to camping and start recording my own amateur videos.

You have to be close to the camera to access the Wi-Fi with the app but as we look in the mornings that is fine
I use a tripod mount to monitor the feeder as it is isolated from the house and there are no upright places to mount the camera. Initially the birds were wary of the new thing but have settled now and ignore it. We even had one perched on the top for a little while.
The sensor is good it copes with all light settings (day and night) and gives great resolution of the collected images. I have paired this with a 128gb SD card, and it holds more than enough images for my needs I have not reached its limits so can’t give you a number.
The Wi-Fi connection is easy you just follow the prompts to connect within the app and you can control the camera from the remote watch like thing. Range from inside the house I achieved was about 15m to the camera fitted outside.
I am really pleased with the results of this camera the images are sharp and clear. I would not hesitate to recommend this camera to anyone who has a need to photograph wildlife in an area where they are not.

First time I actually seen anything like this before, my daughter loves watching wildlife and especially bugs, spiders and creepy Crawleys, she enjoyed putting this in the garden and watching them all.
The packing was superb, really looked a good product, it comes with everything needed, just need to add batteries quick is fine., has an instruction manual easily followed and has a 1 year warranty.

I found setting the device up pretty straight forward- there is wifi and a rechargeable battery so no faffing around with cables.

I use this camera to capture images of wildlife in my garden.
The camera is easy to set up if you follow the instruction guide. It is good to be able to view the target area on your mobile whilst setting it up. The hunting camera app enables you to adjust all settings from your phone as an alternative to using the menu on the camera display screen. I find the screen too small for easy use and use the phone screen instead.
The camera captures images almost instantly on activation and the picture quality is excellent. Even with limited light the picture is crystal clear as can be seen on the picture through trees.
There is no need to remove the camera from its mounted spot as photos and videos can be viewed remotely. You need to be be fairly close to the camera to activate its internal wifi before viewing on the app.
This camera would be suitable for security purposes as it can be mounted anywhere and viewed using the app.
All in all an excellent all round camera.
This is a robustly made piece of kit and ready to use, other than buying batteries and a micro SD card. Picture quality is good and it is very sensitive to movement so you have to be careful positioning too close to foliage in the wind as I ended up with a lot of video clips showing nothing other than gently moving branches. Positioned it to record birds feeding of our bird-feeder and discovered why the food gets eaten overnight – field mice. I need to play around with the settings a bit as 5 sec video clips are a bit short. The built-in screen is very small but easy to view recordings on the laptop. Overall, it does what we wanted it to do so very happy. Comes with a multi-adjustable stand that you can screw to a post plus a long strap to secure to a tree or garden chair.
Both me and my hubby not technical , so at our ages 70s, we have to follow instructions to the letter, this confused us at first as instructions don’t seem identical to the camera, and some things are called different names, but we worked it out after trial and error and find the results amazing, so very clear, and easy to use and see the photos and videos and even to transfer to the computer, i find we have two large hedgehogs visiting the garden every night, marvelous, but still cant get that dam cat to stop eating their food even though it is in a hedgehog house, and cats aren’t suppose to like it !!
This camera is robust and easy to set up. The menu is easy to understand and simple to use.
I used this for capturing images of garden birds and it works perfectly with excellent clarity. The motion sensor is very good with minimal time delay.
My only criticism is difficulty in lining up the camera for close images. Mounted on a tripod makes it difficult to correctly align as the mount is on the fixed battery part and the lens has to be swung back on to it. It would be better if the mount was on the lens section. That said, with a bit of practice it is OK. This would not be a problem for non close ups.
All in all this is a good product at an excellent price.
I bought two of these cameras and subsequently found that one of them had a fault. Man Long responded immediately to my email and the problem was solved efficiently – something of a rarity these days!
As for the camera, I don’t think the photo quality and sound are as good as the Leshp I had before, but seeing as that one developed a catastrophic fault after a year of use, I can’t say it was any better!
I recommend using re-chargeable Lithium batteries, which, although expensive, are a worthwhile investment. Otherwise, you’ll be getting through a whole heap of AA batteries.
This camera is really good it’s very easy to setup .. I’ve changed the settings now to 30s recordings with 5s lag and on a timer from 9:30pm-7am
Not used in the day as didn’t want to do daytime filming but that’s fine
It’s great that you can use 4aa or 8aa batteries but I’d say the more the better and longer life
My camera has only been out a few days and it’s got the hedgehog really quick with the great 0.2 capture shot

I’ve also got the camera on medium as it’s only a small garden
Fully waterproof which is good as been raining here the past few days all inside is fully dry
Not sure how many clips it holds on the 32sd card but that depends on what settings u pick
So far it’s got 35 clips on my cam over 2 nights
All in all it’s a great product and a small price

Overall, it’s a good quality, well made camera, easy to set up and use and has all the brackets, screws and post/tree strap you’ll need to fix it in position. It also has a built-in screen which takes away the guesswork in actually positioning it in the correct orientation. It comes with a USB lead to connect to a computer so you can view your videos at full resolution, which is very handy.
I might buy another one to fit on the side of the house for use as a security camera.
