I bought a similar productand more expensive than this one, however, this one is better quality. We use both for clamming during summer. The other one I bought is rusty after 1 use and this one is still shiny. I just wish the handle is a bit longer. Still definitely value for money
My first use doing some light weeding and one of the tubes completely bent. It’s easy to bend back… too easy. Definitely not very solidly made.
I do love how long it is. Handle feels good and you can really get after the stubborn weeds.
Love this. It works very well when trying to collect fallen leaves in those awkward places. The mesh stops what you’ve raked up falling through the tynes. Well made but for some it may not be comfortable in the hand. It’s not cheap but I would still recommend it.
I had always sorted through the poor soil in my garden while planting, to get rid of old roots, bits of brick, stones etc. I used to drag it with my fingers but then saw this. It’s so much nicer sifting through the earth with it and it can break up clumps with ease. Wish I’d discovered it 40 years ago!
It’s been ideal for get leaves from beneath bushes and I use it to gently comb through topiary
It is a nice size and weight for loosening soil on the surface.
This has been really helpful as I suffer chronic pain so this gives me the extra length so I don’t have to reach as far up or dow
I use mine for getting the weeds out by raking over them, excellent and would definitely recommend
Der Handrechen hat einfach genau die richtige Gre fr kleine und mittlere Blumenbeete. Die Stabilitt ist mehr als ausreichend fr die geforderte Anwendung. Besonders gefllt mir die Mglichkeit den Rechen auch als kleines Sieb zu benutzen um Laub aus den Beeten aufzunehmen. Auf jeden Fall gibt es von mir eine Kaufempfehlung.

Perfect for digging clams and picking up oysters. Works so much better than other garden tools with shorter forks.
I was using a smaller little hand rake to rake up the dead lawn and it took me forever. This product was fantastic and moved the job along a lot quicker!
The tines were sturdy and wide enough for what I need and sharper enough to get the roots. The hardest part was getting the safety plastic off the tips.
Seems like a good solid tool that should last forever. The extra length of the handle is a nice feature.
This garden and plant bed tool is no toy. Well built and very sturdy, breaks the sold surface and allows the soil to absorb water and helps the plant roots.
I wanted something sturdy and not too big, to get between plants, to move the surrounding earth / soil. This really is ‘it’.
Nice size, works great with weeds. Doesn’t take out the weeds but loosens the dirt around so they are easy to pull.
I like that it is lightweight but strong enough for use in my raised beds

This is the best. I used it to clean out under fig tree where its difficult to reach. Great for cleaning up small areas difficult to reach with large rake. Gets up weeds. I highly recommend this. Very sturdy well made
Quite large and heavy duty. I’ll need to get used to it after using a much smaller rake for so long. Seems high quality

Well made and surprisingly useful little tool. Good for general hand tidying, raking etc.
Only negative is the handle which could do with a little more ‘sculpting’ to better fit the hand as being round and smooth can tend to slip a little in the hand in use. Would recommend this produc

As with a lot of Japanese hand tools its well thought of, and is superb at being able to weed in between veg rows.
A recommended product.
My veggie garden got away from me and I used this to get all the weeds out. This tool made quick work out of getting all the weeds out. I like the sturdiness of the handle and the way the tines are attached appear to be able to last a long time. I’m so happy I finally bought this and it doesn’t kill your back bending over all the way over. Would recommend buying.

This is a great garden tool for weeding and planting annuals, etc. I am disappointed because as the title suggests, this should have 6 tines and it does not–there are only 5. I purchased it specifically because it was described as having a sixth tine.
I like this gardening tool, but it took me a half an hour to remove the covers on the tines. The protective covers are plastic– all things from Amazon are swathed in plastic. I hope Amazon and sellers soon move to biodegradable packaging.
The tool itself seems to work and I will use it for many seasons.

I bought this to weed around plants in the garden. It works very well. It is a very sturdy, well made claw rake. It comes with plastic covers over the tines; the tines are sharp. It works very well for my needs. It was a good purchase.
I like the the aesthetic value of this little rake, and its ability to work between my plants. It scratches as well as rakes the soil well, not heavy enough for compacted soil or caliche.
Needed it for weeds around succulents and cacti- good reach and grabs weeds easily. Glad I bought it.
I just used it today. Longer handle is worth the money spent, so I don’t have to bend my back much, especially on muddy flat. Unfortunately, the area yield no clam. Maybe those commercial guys machine rake it all or too muddy for clam to live. I’ve seen it work on youtube, LOL. Now I have to find a productive area, maybe more sandy and less mud, to use this more.
I use this rake quite a bit around my trees and shrubs. The handle is long enough to keep me from getting scratched.

I’ve used this to help turn the compost in my garden bed. To rake small rocks, and to dislodge larger stones from the soil. Very sturdy. My favorite hand tool.

This is a well made tool, but would be nice to have another 3-4 inches on the handle. I have heavily used it daily for 2 weeks now and the claws are starting to get disfigured, but easily to realign. Good tool and wooded handle.
I have used several different garden tools trying to clean up flower beds. I found a gem with this rake. Small enough to easily get under bushes and in tight spaces but strong enough to break up soil and uproot weeds. Very happy with this purchase
Only thing I would change is add a choice of a long handle.

The rake works great. I needed it to work in my flower beds. With the handle long er than some rakes, makes it easy use.
I am very pleased with this tool. I had an old smith hawken one that was on its last legs. It works very well tilling the soil and pulling up weeds.
But the Description needs to be corrected – It has 5 tines and NOT 6. I like it though.
I’m using this nice tool already. I am a high desert gardener and our soil is rocky and hard. Pulling out plants or weeds that have spread into their neighbor’s space is a real challenge. The claw tool makes it easy!
Very handy for Arizona dirt, soil in flower bed. Didn’t have to get a shovel out.
