easy install, seems very durable, easy adjustability and holds tablets well. I have mine mounted in an off road van, and it’s held up no problems.

I have a 15 inch portable monitor that I wanted to be able to mount in my home office in a way that would be easy for me to take out or put back when in when needed. The AboveTEK tablet wall mount does just that.

Because my portable monitor is larger than an 11 inch tablet, its too big to allow the clamps to be positioned at the corners as is demonstrated in the product photos. I expected this, and figured I would try it anyway to see if it would still work when using the mount with the clamps around the top and bottom or left and right sides – and it works perfectly this way as well.

The tablet mount holds the monitor very securely, much better than I had expected. Even though its bigger than the maximum specified size, it is held in place with no movement or anything. Just a solid grip by the mount.

The mount was easy to install and includes the two screws to do so. I just found a stud, screwed in the two screws, and then placed my monitor in the mount. The range of motion is fantastic – full 360 degree rotation and full tilting capabilities. Taking my monitor out is easy, and requires the key to unlock the clamps, and it slides right out.

BOTTOM LINE:
Great product design, this mount completely exceeded my expectations. I wish all monitor mounts were this easy to install and worked so effortlessly.

Easy installation and very secure. Holds its tilt and rotation perfectly.
The only drawback is that when you type it does jiggle a little.

This is a solid stand! Very well made, and versatile. I’ve tried it on my bike to hold my iPad and it is quite secure.

The lock works well although I probably wouldn’t trust it unattended for very long.

Very sturdy, non slip rubber pads to hold the frame in its place is very important to me. I am a percussionist and I attached this frame to my Drum kit bar to hold my Korg synthesizer pad, it held it very securely, didn’t drop or slide down. I was able to mount this on a podium stand for to hold my iPad, solid hold., no issues there. Only thing is the mounting screws are long and I use two wrenches. They supply one with the kit, it is kind of flimsy, I used my own. Another issue if the mounting bar is 1.5″ or more, it is hard to mount. Works very well on square and round bars without any issues as long as it below 1.25″ thick. My wife uses this on our Stationary bike to watch videos and movies while exercising. I recommend this if you are in the market for one!

Just got this product today and it is perfect. The build quality, the locking mechanism, padded clasps, pan and tilt. Everything is top notch.

I ordered the AboveTEK Tablet Wall Mount to mount a Samsung 10″ tablet to the wall. But I discovered that this would not be practical because the the mount doesn’t reach far enough. However, my disappointment was short lived. I noticed that the base of the holder was stable even when it was sitting on a table. It could be screwed into the table top to add even more stability, but that may not be necessary.

The AboveTEK Tablet Wall Mount – Fits 7 to 11 Inch tablets.

I had an unusual requirement and this mount solved my problems. I had to mount two Ring Solar cells: one to the dark side of my house and one to the sunny side. The solar cell looks like am 8 inch tablet with a wire dangling from it. I used this mount for the solar cell on the sunny side of the house because, once mounted, it is facing forward, which is towards the sun.

This mount is very well built and easy to install with only 4 screws. Typically, the laptop is connected to the bracket by the corners and then it is locked in place by clamping down a bracket and using a keyed lock.

The arm is semi-articulated to allow tilting and rotation. Once the correct position is achieved, a wrench is included to tighten to rig in-place.

I’m thrilled with the mount because and off-the-shelf product solved a highly custom problem.

Note: If you’re using this mount for a Ring Solar Panel, I suggest that you mount it horizontally across the bottom as opposed to diagonally because the existing mounting hardware gets in the way otherwise.
