This is absolutely amazing tried all sirs to clear the green pond water this has cleared it less than 7 days would highly recommend

Spent my day off fitting this fantastic looking UVC which was bought to replace a 10yr old hozelock one, get it all piped up, run the pump for a bit then switch on the UV and….nothing, no glow, switch everything back off, remove the bulb (which thankfully is super easy) and find a broken element so bulb in the bin

Into town tomorrow to buy a new bulb then hopefully tomorrow my pond will finally start clearing.

Product was easy to set up, my pond was really very green and it took about a week to clear completely. Happy with purchase

I was having problems with algae bloom due to the reset hot weather. My small pond was over run with algae. I installed the UV light and clean pond no problems since. Great bit of kit.

Fitting relatively easy only been working 6 days pond clearing.
this is a larger replacement as pond size increased cant comment on longevity time will tell so far pleased with result after 6 days from green soup to being able to see fish again.

Hats off to the seller, product arrived within 24 hours.
Set it up in my 5500 litre pond on arrival, took only 15 mins to have up and running. Really like the inspection window which allows you to see UV lamp is working. Also like the clear hose connector with visible spinner to show the water flow.
Time will tell but first impressions are excellent.

Wow, wow, wow!!! My pond cleared in 2 yes 2 days. I can’t recommend this enough. I have had problems with my pond greening since I built it tried all the potions but no good did some research and to be honest wasn’t holding my breath today I went to feed my fish and was amazed! So happy and the fish seem to agree
Please note that it comes without a plug and the instructions weren’t very clear but common sense tells you what’s what.

Purchased to replace previous 18 watt clarifier having looked for a price bracket i could afford. Had problems fitting the usual struggle with leaks and pipe clips that have a mind of their own. Ended up replacing corrugated pipe with newer more supple one as being outside for a long time they tend to become stiff and brittle .some of the clips on the market are poor and require a spanner to tighten. Finally mounted the unit on my shed next to the pond , another pain the ballast block attached to the cable means you can,t feed the the short cable through a hole in the shed to reach the electrics as with previous model. , so had to cut slot in door frame to allow access. Anyway attached plug and ran pump so water was running through unit as advised plugged in but no light showing in unit so gave up til next morning. Next day took out bulb and checked connection , turned out it was the clip in the bottom of the lamp holder , a small transparent clip which has to be pushed into the base of the bulb to lock it in place when you work out which side of the spring clips it goes in. Eureka!! we have light .. But for how long? the Ballast unit gets so hot i,m frightened it might fail and end up burning down the shed !!! Oh what fun.!!! One week on and the lamp is doing its job ok, have the ” Pie Heater ” resting on an old marble chopping block to diffuse some of the heat . Only time will tell how it goes on.. 1 year on new 18watt bulb still working but now can see band of light on body which shows up at night!! think this must be designed for people who use two outlets because they won,t have the sight glass. P. S. Some people buy uva lamps thinking it will kill Blanket Weed, it won,t you need a separate treatment for this. See attached photo to show you don,t need sight glass at night to show lamp is working.

Installed today and all seems to be working but wouldn`t it be nice to get a decent set of instructions that you could read without having to use a magnifying glass? and maybe as it was sold to me in the UK a fitted plug would have been good.

I’ve had different shapes and sized ponds for 15 years now with a fairly high stock of fish and I’ve bought 3 of these over the years, they are a great product and last the distance, very easy to change UV bulbs which usually last a couple of years, only reason I had to buy a third one was because the garden flooded and submersed it and blew, that doesn’t bother me as it does state that they are waterproof and are not submersible so remember to keep them off the ground. Always had them connected before my filters or before the bio media filter and I’ve had no algae or bacterial problems for years… It’s great for ponds that use water pumps (Gravity fed drain systems are perfect but would still use these in my experience) as the tabulated system inside allows the water to stay in the UV chamber for longer without slowing down the water pressure allowing it to be exposed to the UV for longer to kill parasites and not just little bacteria or algae. With this style UV that has the tabulated system inside i would highly recommend it over just a clarifier. Considering it’s a lot cheaper than the likes of an Evo clarifier and at a bigger wattage is a win win, nothing against Evo they are great products but these do the job perfectly for a lower price.

I was having problems with clearing the algae etc from my pond and had bought various treatments non had worked. The uv light in filter was working but didn’t seem to have any affect. After some research I decided to go for this inline uv light and turn my original one off. Within a week the water was crystal clear and I can even see the bottom. I wish I had taken before and after photos to prove that in a week my pond went from pea green soup to the clearest pond Iv ever seen. Worth mentioning that the same uv light in my local aquatics store is 100 more expensive. This is worth every penny and by far one of the best things Iv ever bought.

I have a 3000 litre pond which was filled with green water. The only time I could see my fish was when they came up for food. I tried all kinds of remedies involving adding solutions and powders but nothing worked. I then installed this UV filter and within a day, I could see the water clearing. Within a week it was crystal clear ! Really happy with it !

Works well, cleared my pond now crystal clear water. using 2 x UV so this made the big difference being the more powerful. For once, an All Pond solutions product that does work.

Amazing, my trusty old kokney koi uv was on its last legs. When the new one arrived I thought there was no chance of it standing up to the job of cleaning my 21,000L pond. How wrong I was.
within a week and half it was as clear as tap wate

Very good price considering other manufacturers. Took a few days longer to clear the pond than more expensive units.
However, at a price half that of my last one I would recommend this this UV.

The test now is will it continue to give good service. My Blagdon only lasted a year and the supplyer, would not honour the guarantee because it did not cover the glass tube which had been leaking into the electrics.
Make sure you read the guarantee because All Pond Solutions also only cover electrical faults and not perishable, consumable or water ingress.

The so called guarantee on the All Ponds is just 12 months. On the Blagdon it is 24 months.

had a little hitch, but this was cleared up very quickly very good item.

This was avast improvement on the Hozelock vortex which I found impossible to undo. Pond now crystal clear.
