Needed this for our bedroom which gets the full afternoon sun, our bungalow takes a long time to heat up but once it does it hangs on to the heat rather too well.
26 speeds plus various set functions, placed about 6ft from the bottom of our bed up to speed 7 its really quiet and gets progressively noisier as you increase fan speed, i have sharp hearing so some will find no issues further up the speed range.
Going to try a bowl full of ice cubes behind the fan so it can blow cooler air around, cheap air con, well sort of.
Well made, easy to put together, easy to operate, if it lasts for a long time then worth every penny.
All I can say is terrific, very easy to assemble. When I plugged it in and then pressed the power button on The remote the fan started, it started on the 26 setting, I lowered it to the silent mode “00” which it is, it does exactly what it says, it is silent. This fan ticks all the Right boxes, so easy to use. One more thing, I ordered the fan Late.on the 21st and it arrived at 11:15am on the 23rd.
This fan is very quiet when compared to any fan we’ve ever owned in the past. Obviously when you crank the speed up (and it’s very powerful when you do crank it up) it gets louder but I still wouldn’t deem it as loud – if that makes sense. Assembly was a doddle, literally took a few minutes with no issues and no need to check the instructions, again it’s common sense. Reading some of the older reviews I’m assuming the manufacturer has modified the fan to make assembly easier as I genuinely don’t see how anyone could have trouble with it.
The controls are easy and I love how simple and straight forward the remote is.
I needed a fan for night-time; when it’s cold I can’t have the window open all the time and when it’s warm, there’s no point opening the window. I have a Dyson but needed something at the end of the bed. Normally, I use my handheld fan when I wake up needing it but that’s not great for sleeping. I plumped first this one because of the reviews and price…what can I say, it’s brilliant. Boost is great when you need it and silent mode is so quiet you can’t hear it and wonder if it’s on but it gives the perfect level of ‘cool’ throughout the night and, yes, I slept and had a consistent temperature. Looks great too:

Absolutely superb and worth the money. Gets louder at the faster speeds but that’s to be expected as it is shifting a lot of air.
I think it has saved me a lot of money too in energy use because I mainly have it below speed 7, which are the whisper modes, which are slower than standard fans.
however there are a few downsides to hint on. The instructions firstly required a lot of analysing as there wasnt much text but in the end it was easy enough for me to understand though it took me over half an hour! As for the noise at silent mode it’s absolutely perfect, but as you increase the speed you notice a faint high pitch noise which is irritating at first but you get used to it thankfully.
In general I would definitely recommend this fan to someone who wants a top performing fan near air conditioner level Im sure it will make you shiver even in summer!

Bought one of these a year ago thru Amazon and must admit, have been very impressed, multiple speeds, some quieter than others, but none of them are what I’d call ‘noisy’. The only thing I was originally a bit unsure of was the logo, which was more obtrusive than I’d like, but to be honest, I soon got used to it don’t even think about it now. Overall, great , sensibly priced product and very impressed and I’d buy another if needed
Only problem is when on setting 24 wind terrible clicking sound.

An absolute BEAST of a fan, quiet even on the highest setting of 26 and simple to use and disassemble for cleaning purposes.
It’s a bit pricey, granted but you get what you pay for and you won’t ever be disappointed with it.
This fan is aesthetically pleasing to the eye – very easy to set up – and definately gives a good blast of cool refreshing air – however, the remote control that comes with it – is a real pain to insert the battery – badly designed in my humble opinion – the fan is also very quiet and I must say I am delighted with my purchase – I would buy it agai

Most of the fans I have bought in the past have done the job, but have been pretty poorly made and a struggle to assemble without breaking or bending something. So it was a pleasant surprise to find this Ansio Pedestal Fan well made and easy to assemble. It took about 15 minutes to put together (the biggest hassle was getting the battery into the remote control) and once fully assembled feels substantial and good quality. Controls are straight forward and at the low speeds is very quiet (with a slight breeze). The higher speeds are certainly louder, but not overwhelming so and it’s really shifting some air at this point. Considering it’s quality and features it’s decent value too.
Sits at the bottom of my bed superb investment and so quiet for sleeping with my fibromyalgia. Excelle
This is an excellent fan. It is well build, stable and easy to control. At low speed settings it is relatively quiet and as expected, the sound level does increase with speed.
This is an excellent fan! It does take a little while to assemble, but nothing difficult. It has 26 speed settings from barely ticking over to blowing paperwork everywhere. We use it positioned at the end of the bed, On settings 1-5 is it absolutely silent but still provides a lovely gentle breeze all night and has allowed us to sleep even on the hottest of summer nights. The remote control is great (especially when using in the fan in the bedroom as we do). The LED display is only on briefly after power on or changing a setting so it doesn’t glow all night. Powering on it will start with the same settings as when it was last powered off. If you want a QUIET fan that still actually works as a fan, this is the one!
I have to say that over the years I’ve bought quite a few different fans and this is the best by far. I thought it was expensive and a bit of a risk but having used it for a couple of weeks now I’d say it’s well worth the money and I may well buy another. The lower settings are so quiet it’s perfect to run in a bedroom overnight. The number of speed settings may seem excessive but it’s possible to find the right setting for every room/situation. For me, this was a great buy.

The fan is great, but the remote control, I have had to put the third button Lithium Battery in, since I received the fan in late June 19, and I don’t use the remote much.
I didnt really look into the reviews but to be honest my ANSIO fan was great easy to assemble and does not matter how expensive it it works great for me very quite and I would recommend this to people who want a best quality fan.
I bought this fan for the silent function so i thought the 26 speeds would merely be an added gimmick, but it is rather nice to be able to tweak the speed more precisely than the usual “barely noticeable” vs. “hurricane in a wind tunnel”.
From 1 to 14, the fan is truly quiet while still noticeably moving the air, like a nice gentle breeze. Beyond 15, it gets a bit noisier but not unbearably so.
Overall it’s sturdy, stable on its base, looks like it will be more durable than some cheaper brands.
It is a little pricier than what i would normally spend for a fan but so far it has been worth the investment.
Excellent! This fan is so quiet. On the settings up to 6, we leave it on all night if it is really warm, just to circulate the air. The timer is really good too.
This is the best ever fan! So easy to assemble and use, even a menopausal older lady (me) can use it! Extremely quiet at night and hugely helpful during the day when its hotter weather and needs more powerful settings. I have tried many fans as I get loads of hot flushes and this is by far the best. You can still watch TV and have a fan on at the same time – yeyyy! Looks good and modern too.

Great fan, very sturdy and solid construction. Love all the speeds and settings although only used the higher level for the very warm nights we’ve been experiencing. Works a treat keeping you cool so sleep can be had. Much cheaper option thank a/c, overall very pleased with my purchase so much so I bought 2!!
Top quality product. Took my time in assembly the item and was so pleased with the end result. As a bit of a ‘fan junkie’ I have numerous makes, not to mention a few from the extortionate (IMHO) Dyson range.
You will not be disappointed with this, it performs brilliantly and it sounds to me a lot quieter than my Dysons or other makes. The quality of the fans finish is a credit to the company, well done, excellent.

I’m so glad I bought this. I was unsure at first by all the reviews. So I thought I’d rather give this product ago. It’s greater then the five blade fan I have at home. It’s definitely worth getting particularly when we have the heat wave! It makes such a difference. And with two years warranty, you can’t go wrong. It’s a must have!
Love love love this fan. It arrived just as the hot weather came and has worked so well in keeping the room cool. The different settings make it easy to adjust the fan according to the need. I cannot recommend it highly enough and as a hairdresser and had it in the salon I have ‘sold’ it to all my clients as it’s done such a great job of keeping everyone comfortable and cool

Great to use, my only criticism would be the fact that you cannot adjust the fan speed on any setting except normal.
This was the best purchase made for a new apartment. It’s a powerfully fan, but can also be very quiet for at night. The timer setting and ability to control it by remote is great. I can also rest easy knowing it doesn’t cause my electricity bill to skyrocket!
Fitting the grille was a little fiddly.
We received the fan within few days of the order. The fan is a good quality build, sturdy and a stable stand-base, easy to operate either using the control on the fan or the remote control. It is fairly quite comparing to the other fans we have. Of the 5 modes of operations, we tend to use “normal & sleep” modes.
It’s a great tall fan. It gets bit noisy on high speed above 10 but still it is nothing compared to the other fans we have had. It has 26 speed modes with 8 blades and makes the room cooler overall. We hardly need to use it at 10+ speed.
Great piece of kit in the summer months. Gets a nice breeze going with very low noise. We’ve had ceiling fans before, but this is a whisper by comparison.

Bought 1 fan initially to see if it lived up to my expectations and now have bought a second one. It does what it says and the build quality is excellent with low noise level.
Easy to assemble by a woman who gets confused with instructions. Controls on pedestal and remote easy to use. The control light goes off on the pedestal so it doesn’t shine at night. Low noise level on 7 or 8. It’s a powerful and sturdy fan.

Really good. Premium. Have to aim at the fan with the remote… Good power even at low… I have it on 8 out of 26 most of the time.
I use it in my bedroom,so it was very important that is was quiet.

UPDATE: After less than a year the second remote started to malfunction, with it being unresponsive and certain buttons not working at all. This is despite being used minimally and only during the summer months. With the remote being the main selling feature of the fan, this was obviously a big issue and extremely frustrating.
I was however able to contact customer services again, and although not as easy to deal with as the first time (requiring me to send video proof over email, despite email upload sizes being limited), I was eventually sent a replacement remote and that remote works perfectly.
This however does make me question the quality and longevity of the product. It’s possible that I was just unlucky and received two remotes from a bad batch, but it’s also possible that it’s a problem with the design and that the remotes are vulnerable to malfunction. Only time will tell I guess, but for now it works, and when everything is working, it’s great.
Note, if you plan to use with a smart plug (e.g. Alexa) the fan will always start in ‘off’ setting and it will be necessary to use the remote to turn on the fan after turning on the smart plug. So voice or automation can only be used to turn the fan off. If the manufacturers could add the option to remember the last setting after a power cut, that would be perfect.
Display is orange (better for bedroom than blue) . Display is large and easy to see and the light goes off after a few seconds.
Remote is very light and controls all functions of the fan.
If you are looking for a fan that’s silent, extremely well made and has that robust quality to it, you cannot go wrong with this fan.
No it’s not the cheapest, but it is worth the extra over the cheaper alternatives.
The remote is simple to use. The silent option, really is silent. It has 26 speeds, chances are, 20 more than you need. The good thing though, is you are guaranteed to find the perfect speed to suit your needs.
Lastly, it’s the lowest wattage fan of this size I’ve seen at only 30w. That’s half of most out there.

This one has 16 speeds which can be controlled by the remote.
If your looking for a fan to use in the bedroom or main room this is the one. On a lower speed it is totally silent and still pushes the air around. Even on full speed this fan is still very quiet compared to other.
All in all a great bit of kit. Last of all, don’t waste your money buying a cheaper one to save a few pounds. You will regret it.

Almost silent and we enjoy the remote and 20 speed settings much more than we thought we would.
At around 100 it is pricier than your average standing fan but still much cheaper than a Dyson.
Buying a second one I case these go out of stock when it hits summer.

This fan delivers on all levels. The setting options are varied & useful. The fan is whisper quiet. The remote is great. Only negative is the weight & may not be easy for some to move around the home. On the other hand the weight ensures the stability of the fan. Since getting the Ansio Pedestal Fan 2 weeks ago, it has helped myself and partner deal with the current heatwave. It has a multitude of settings which is useful and we tend to use the comfort mode instead of the sleep one as the difference in noise is minimal whilst circulating more air. I do find the quiet mode a bit pointless as it doesn’t produce enough air movement even though it is silent. It’s a sturdy product and I like the fact I can set it to switch off after an hour of going to sleep. Great product!

The fan was very easy to put together. It has various modes and a great range of speeds. The remote control makes it easy to use at a distance. Very pleased with the quality.
A few things I’d like to see improve in a future version are the following:
– BEEP! The audio feedback on pressing a button is not necessary and it’s quite loud when you’re using it at night. It should be made optional or the volume adjustable.
– The digital display could be placed a bit further down because when you stand closer to the fan you need to bend down to see it.
If these two are corrected it will be the perfect fan.
It still worth the price though and I’m very happy with the product.
A distress purchase during the recent heatwave. Fan received promptly with minor issues. Ansio customer service immediately offered a no quibble solution. Only used several times so far, but both product and customer service have exceeded expectations.
The fan is great. It has various settings(not tried all of them yet) and it really does the job of cooling everything down. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the assembly instructions are very sparse and it took both myself and my husband – who is good at DIY – several attempts to get the guard on correctly. It takes two people – one to hold it in place , the other to tighten the screw.
I have been looking for a fan that is above all else effective and quiet. Judging by the reviews that’s harder to find than you might think. I have usually been influenced by price and have ended up with corresponding poor quality and noisy. This prolonged spell of very hot weather has meant we need a fan in the bedroom and this has been a great buy. It’s a very good build quality, easy to assemble and use. The remote is great so you can operate it without getting out of bed. This pedestal versions size and weight means it’s less portable than a desk fan but the benefits mean its less intrusive and better able to position it where it’s most effective. Speedy delivery, excellent buy.
You may wonder why you would pay 100 for something you could buy for between a quarter and half that price. The answer is quality. This fan is well made, easy to assemble, and, unless I am a poor judge, is likely to give years of service.
OK, 29 different speeds might seem a bit OTT but, if you are using it in a bedroom it’s not difficult to find one of the low speeds that will not disturb your slumbers. There is, in fact, a silent mode which is truly that. It’s a bit too gentle for me but the settings immediately above it give a bit more of a breeze without being too intrusive.
Would I buy this fan again? If I need another (this one is number 3) then I think that this would be my first choice.

This has got to be the best cooling fan I’ve ever seen, it’s powerful yet reasonably quiet on full power. The various settings allow you to control not only the power but you can maintain an even temperature too. When on silent the fan really is silent!
I absolutely love this fan. It comes with multiple speed settings (with ‘normal’ offering the strongest), it’s got a timer (which works great for night time) and it has such a beautiful design. I am really happy I decided to pay a little bit more and opt for quality. It’s definitely made the heat in our flat more bearable and it’s silent enough to allow for a good night’s sleep. The display does go off after a minute or so (if you wondered about that), which combined with the timer function works great for leaving it on during night time.
Update: ordered a 2nd one now, so I have one for the bedroom. Electricity wise, I never noticed a big increase in my bill, which I expected, but I will cover myself by saying for the 4 weeks when I had it on daily AND overnight, when it was baking hot last year, 10 would cover it easily for that hot summer month.
Marvelous. Highly recomended. Made the recent weather bearable and will use when on our cross trainer the rest of the year.
Excellent quality fan. The night time setting is particularly useful if you are a light sleeper, as it creates a soft, cooling air flow with minimum sound. Whilst this fan is quite pricey in comparison to others, you certainly get what you pay for.
This fan arrived on time 10 minutes before I left for work, I had it unpackaged, assembled and tested in plenty of time before I left. The different modes are fantastic, I had this fan downstairs during the day which had us all feeling instantly cool and during the night I placed it in my 4 year old son’s room in ‘sleep mode’ it’s completely silent and he soon fell asleep comfortably. The instructions were clear and the remote is very uselful. Definitely recommend! The only thing I would change is the colour (I initally wanted a black one) however as I was desperate I had no choice at the time. I would order a second one in a different colour.
In summary, it is a high quality product, it does the job, I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.

After a lot of on-line research and some doubt – I had never heard of the brand – ordered this during the really hot weather as I wanted a quiet but effective fan and didn’t want to spend 250 or more Not Available on a Dyson.
The effectively step-less speed increase and the special sleep settings are really good and really quiet (at say speed 10 or 11, at speed 26 it is not quiet but very powerful). At full tilt it is using 30w – a dim light bulbs worth of power.
Base is heavy and the whole thing is stable.
Assembly easy – only need a screwdriver.
The remote is good, but the instructions on using the timer are unclear and I had to guess.
Not cheap but effective.
I wasn’t too sure about buying this product due to the price. There didn’t seem to be much comparable cheaper though. However signing 20 minutes of using it for the first time I have to say I love it. Definitely worth the cost.

Having used many pedestal fans this is by far the most expensive I have purchased but it is also the very best quality. The item is made of really high quality materials. It’s not noises and moves air effectively and 26 speed settings make sure you can balance performance and noise effectively cannot recommend this product highly enough!
Why we delayed in buying a Fan not sure probably expecting the weather to change probably, anyway we purchased the right one.
The product was very well packaged, unpacked and assembled within 15 minutes per the simple instructions.,remote control excellent for variable speeds etc and for bedroom nighttime cooling there is a silent mode . A good buy should have bought one months ago.
I’ve never paid this much for a pedestal fan before but I have to say that it’s a quality item. Seems well built and sturdy in use. On slow speeds it’s virtually silent which is great for a bedroom. Clever technology with the variable speed control.

Used to cool a large lounge which it did most effectively without intrusion.
This fan looks stylish and seems to be very well built (what we call the “Apple Look”).
It was easy to assemble.
I doubt we’ll use all the functions but who knows? At the moment it’s running on the NORMAL setting at speed setting 10.
We’re using it to cool our west-facing bedroom which recently has been very hot by the end of the day.
The fan is doing a very good job of giving us a comfortable night’s sleep.
I find the “white noise” it generates helps me get to sleep quickly, although this might not be the case for some people.

Only 4 stars as they delivered what seems to be a new fan with an old pedestal stand! It was definitely a second hand pedestal base. Needed the cooling so did not send back- expected everything to be new!!
