The printer came quickly and is excellent very easy to set up and use. I was recommended it by a friend and it does not dissapoint!!!!
Great product. Print quality is fantastic for such a low priced priced printer.
It’s a very good printer which will help enjoy my 3D print and design hobby. It’s great having a resin printer to go with my Ender3 v2 fdm printer.
For its size they both complement each othe
Brilliant printer for miniatures.
Never used 3d printer before so took it steady to setup but after the process it’s really nice and easy to get going.
I love the models it’s printed can’t wait to print more
Very good prints, one did fail due to the bed being slightly off level. Some resin was stuck to the FEP, using the plastic scraper I scraped too hard and damaged the FEP. Amazon replaced the VAT with FEP free of charge (very good of them as I damaged it). If you do get resin stuck to the FEP, do not scape it off. YouTube has videos of how to remove.
Solid unit with minimal construction and config required. Prints are good quality and mostly adhere well to the build plate. Usual levels of experimentation with supports arrangement required, but easy to use, software is decent, and definitely pleased with this purchase.
Love it, so easy to use, I had no clue going into this, but so easy to pick up. Only advice I can give, make sure the surface you place the printer on is level. Otherwise your prints will fail. The Spirit level is your friend.
It is simple. dead easy to get set up, but please be aware that your test print is already calibrated and you’re likely going to have a bit of a swear when you do your own prints. Ditch the included slicer and get an aftermarket one. Get a calibration matrix and tweak your settings or you’re just going to be frustrated by multiple failures.
Once you’re calibrated, It’s all peachy.
Very good machine. Very Happy to recommend, just RTFM. 🙂
My first resin printer, I have three other FDM printers, but this one is quite impressive. Good prints quality and consistent quality, especially with anycubic resin. I recommend the wash and curing station as well, is less messy.
Although new to 3D printing, I’d done lots of research into it, and have had fantastic results from this machine.
Being able to show prototype jewellery designs to clients before any output of huge expense is astonishing.
A few prints did fail, but it was absolutely my fault. You have to be sure that print supports are equally spaced and also adequately sized if your prints are exceptionally heavy.
The photon mono is a absolute fantastic little printer and is perfect for both entry level or more expierienced makers.
I had zero issues from start to finish.
The item was dispatched and recieved soon after purchase.
The packaging was nothing short of perfection.
Instructions were clear and easy to follow.
Tool exactly 4 minutes 30 seconds to set up and level the bed.
Print time is excellent compared to other available machines on the market.
I ve had zero failures and every print has worked first time everytime.
I can genuinely find no consequences or faults with this machine and would highly recommend for all makers new and old go 3d printing.
Having this printer for a few days now, it’s plug and play literally no adjustments are needed and or maintenance like that with fdm printers. As a beginner, Anycubic holds your hand throughout the stages giving you one of the best experiences possible.
The printer in question is stylish, sturdy Z-rail frame that is unshakeable, lightweight and the concept of a top cover that comes off is quite likeable.
Out of the box, you get the printer with key parts, such as the vat tray and the aluminium bed, and a box of key essentials such as gloves, filters, hex keys and scrapers. However it is worth noting the resin liquid is not included.
Print quality is amazing and great for small prints that require high detail quality, print times are quick however the process after the print is quite the work effort compared to fdm printers.
Highly recommend it to beginners who want to explore this part of the printing industry.
Been using it for the last couple of weeks and I’m really happy with it. I have 4 fdm printers and the quality of this for small details is amazing.
Had tried another resin printer a while ago but never got much into it as was slow and never got great results. Wanting to give resin another try I bought this, and I’m glad I did as been getting great results from day one and with this new mono screen generation is substantially faster. Really happy with it.
This is my second resin printer. My first one was a micromake L2 2k a few years ago and quite frankly it was a pain in the backside to get consistent results from it and lots of failed prints.
I’ve had several Anycubic FDM printers and I’ve heard great things about these any though while price was right I’d get one.
Setup was ridiculously easy!! It took me longer to unpack it than it did to setup and I’ve had great looking prints come off consistently with only a minor blip here or there on the occasional model mostly due my own mistake in settings or support placement.
The software is far better than the ones available when I purchased my Micromake and once you select your printer type in the slicer the settings are pretty much spot on. I changed layer height to 0.025 and layer time to 2s (for the grey resin) I was using it at 1.5s and got great results too but with more items on the bed I found the slightly longer exposure gave a nice finish and a little added security.
Saving up for the Mono X for the larger build space as we do a lot of studio scale models and it’s great being able to have the Chiron printing large body pieces with the Photon doing the fine interior pieces. We’ll worth the money.
I have an anycubic fdm printer which I think is amazing, so I decided to try their resin printer. After the initial stages of failed prints due to never using resin before I finally managed to print the model I was after. The detail compared to fdm is outstanding , this printer is quite fast too, quiet etc very impressed with the build quality as well, in face this printer is even better quality on the touch screen than my anycubic mega pro one
Great little machine, had it printing within an hour of opening the package. I printed the test files that came with the printer the quality of the print is great way better than i was expecting. for the price you cant go wrong. Definitely will be recommending. 5*STARS.
For my first venture into 3d printing, I asked around for what I needed for fine art, flower displays and small animal sculptures, I was advised a Resin machine. After some scanning of reviews and youtube, I opted for a Anycubic Photon Mono and the Wash and Cure machine as this simplifies the overall process for a beginner. Two larger boxes arrived plus some Resin I also ordered from Anycubic as I thought this had the best chance of working. I though if I took pictures I would remember how to set this up once I had packed it all away, and to give me a chance to follow the instruction book. I watched a video by Joel 3d nerd and he went through the whole setup in minutes, I double checked every step and it was under 30 minutes until the machine was printing, something I wanted was a plug in and go machine. The instruction book was simple to follow, plug in, press a button, peel of some film here and there that protected parts, test the lights, bolt on the head part and ‘home’ it with some provided paper, do some bolts up and press a button, done, it was that simple. After waiting a few years, I may have overestimate the difficulty, but apparently things are a lot more user friendly today. Credit to the folks at Anycubic for making such a a simple to build machine. Now I set it printing for a few hours using a test file that came on a stick, then the fun started, gloves and mask on, scraper at ready I unlocked the head, with a bit of pressure the part came off, and then I used some cleaning fluid in the Wash machine in the basket, then used my hair dryer on cool to dry the part. Then fitted the disk and used the cure button and the part was done. The final test part is amazing, so smooth and the transparent look is what I want for the plants I want to model and then make into display pieces. Overall a very satisfying day, now there is lots to learn with the provided software to do ‘slicing’ and then more adventures await. The pics I took show the opening to getting it working, no idea what order they will show in, but there was also a box of tools, scrapers, lots of gloves, a mask, that was useful, and a pic of the display that is so simple to use. Don’t hesitate, get printing !
I have had the Anycubic Photon Mono for a couple of days now, very easy to setup was printing the test blocks within 30 minutes. Its a fast 3d resin printer it cuts the printing time down by half compared to my other printer (Qidi S-Box).
The print quality is excellent and the machine is so quiet as it does not have any fans installed just a slight hum of the z-axis going up and down.
The vat is made out of plastic but it seems sturdy enough and it has level fill lines which is good.
I have been using the Anycubic software and Chitubox 1.80 the latest photon software has some nice features that let you check your print to see if you need more supports.
I have printed different size models and the print detail is excellent I have used Anycubic’s And Elegoo’s resin and they both print fine. You get everything you need to get you started a plastic scraper and metal one some gloves, a mask, paper filters, allen keys, and a quick set up guide ( just need to buy your resin).
Easy to set up and was producing good quality prints within a day
Having owned a regular Anycubic printer and found it to excellent we were keen to give the Mono version a try and we have not been disappointed. The build quality of the unit is very solid and high quality and the printer worked perfectly straight out of the box. There is no assembly required and it was just a 2 minute job to attach and level the build plate. The printer is extremely quiet and smooth and the printing time is much shorter then the old model producing excellent quality models with just 2s exposure time for each layer. The touch screen has been improved a lot – it is much easier to read and more responsive. We have not used the old printer at all since receiving the new one! This really is an excellent piece of kit suitable for beginners and experienced users alike.
