Machen wir es kurz….
Die Cam selber tut was sie soll und funktioniert auch sehr gut wen es dunkel ist und man nur 2 Monitore als Lichtquelle hat bzw gelegentlich auch mit kleiner Lampe hinter einem Monitor kommt die Cam zurecht.
Die Software ist allerdings ein grau finde sie unbersichtlich und zickig das sollte man mal berarbeiten das geht auch erheblich einfache

And yes, this is a 1080p cam that is selling for close to 100. Admittedly it is running at 60fps, but that is still a strange design choice. They have clearly opted for a 1080p sensor and based their design around that choice.The 60fps video is suitably smooth and I saw no dropped frames even during fast action. Contrast isn’t too high and the colour balance is neutral, so it gives a natural looking image with decent shadow detail and no weird skintones.
This cam is more about business functionality than raw specification, and it shows. The swivel and rotate works great and the mounting is solid, and their is a inch tripod thread. This is also a true wideangle lens so you can get several people on cam at once, so it’s great for conferencing and office-to-office use.
The provided proprietary software is called CamEngine and it is a genuinely useful set of tools, particularly if you don’t already have knowledge of webcam settings and software. It does everything for you and makes the cam useful in more situations.
Now comes the bad part, the price. For the home user I can’t really justify it, unless you are a streamer and need that 60fps output. There are webcams a third of the price that will do 1440 at 30 fps, so this starts to look very overpriced.
But if you are a streamer and 1080p/60hz is what you need then this could be a good choice as it is versatile and reliable, although the wideangle might show off more of your room than you want.
For most people this is too expensive, but for streamers I would say take a look, it might be what you need.

It’s not the cheapest camera and there are certainly others on the market that are cheaper and can produce much the same in terms of results, but we think it is a very good camera with high quality picture and sound
Good little webcam. The picture isn’t fantastic and is a little grainy but this is the smoothest 60fps camera I’ve ever owned. Not bad for just over 100. If you can stretch to it, I’d get the pw513 though.
I’ve heard of avermedia often across the Internet, so when the opportunity arose to test a product i was right on it.
This webcam is pretty decent, it has a wide angle, privacy shutter, runs at 1080p and handles low light pretty well.
Where it doesn’t excel is its handling of exposure, often it’ll blow up light sources, making the screen bright and hard to look at. The microphone is also pretty sub par but that’s to be expected of webcams.
It’s build quality is good, with a clamp stand that can be used with a standard tripid mount.
Don’t get the model up from this, get this one instead. Read the reviews of the model up and you’ll see it is much like the Logitech Brio – too noisy at 1080p. This on the other hand is great. In good light, it excels.
This webcam has some lovely features while using its CamEngine software, unfortunately the software is only available for Windows computers, this is a limitation that should not apply in this day and age.
Frankly without the software, on a Mac this camera is poor, the main issue is flickering from my computer screen. Using the camera on a Windows machine gives you access to the flicker setting and adjusting it from the default of 60hz to the UK standard of 50hz fixes the issue. Shame no OSX support, making the camera unusable.
On a Windows machine the image is clear and sharp, if a little noisy in low light.
The Cam Engine software gives extensive controls, the video tab has basic and advanced controls, the advanced screen has adjustments for Gamma, White Balance, Backlight compensation, Exposure, Gains and Anti-Flicker. The Filter screen has adjustments for Skin tone and Smoothing with a compare button.
The effects screen lets you select one of a few pretty rubbish effects such as one that gives you a cats face, this section is of no interest to me and is a bit of a gimmick on a pro product like this.
The ePTZ (Electronic Pan Tilt Zoom) is a useful feature if using the camera for a few people, it allows up to 2 x zoom and you can select what part of the view you want to see, and this zoom level and area setting can be stored in one of the 15 slots the software has for instantly recalling the setting. It a bit like have a camera operator moving the camera to different people in the group. These ePTZ presets can be recalled using hotkeys which makes it useful for use with a Streamdeck.
The image can also be rotated and flipped in any direction to suit, im not 100% why rotation would be included (except for fun?) the video output is always landscape format so that makes vertical video only possible using post-recording editing, you can’t stream vertical video.
The audio from he cameras is pretty good, the sounds is nice and loud, flat eq, it is not amazing by any stretch but it is acceptable for most use cases. Professional streamers & videographers would use external audio devices anyway.
The lens cover is ok to cover the picture but the microphone is still live so you are not getting total privacy, I would have liked it to cut the mic at the same time for a camera at this level. Instead I just turn off the usb socket on the hub it is connected to for 100% security.
My previous experience with an AVerMedia webcam wasn’t great – the quality was poor and it didn’t give me much hope for their other products so when I saw this 1080p/60fps webcam, I thought it could be a chance to change my views.
This worked straight out of the box for me and I didn’t need to download any initial software to get started. As soon as I plugged this one in and opened up the Camera app to give it a quick look, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this actually was a 1080p/60fps webcam.
It provides a clear picture in a well-lit environment but when moving to a slightly darker environment, the webcam kept going in and out of focus whenever I moved around, however slight it was, but still gave a nice image.
There is an app that can be downloaded to improve the user experience by offering a wide selection of options to enhance the quality of the image.
This can be downloaded on AVerMedia’s website and the file size is ~126MB.
I liked that it can swivel a full 360 degrees. This makes it handy for when the line of sight needs to be moved without having to move the monitor/laptop it is on.
It can also be turned around when not in use but there is also a privacy slider on here, preventing others from seeing you. Great for those concerned with privacy.
Currently priced at 108.99, this webcam isn’t by any means cheap but it provides a good quality image that should be more than sufficient for the average daily users.
It is similarly priced to my Logitech C930e and if I had to pick between the two, I’d still stick with my Logitech webcam but this would be a very close second due to the tweaks needed to make the focus work more effectively.

More interesting than I thought … certainly better than my cam which costs half …
This is also smaller but good, I haven’t had a better one than this maybe because I don’t do streaming gaming ect professionally … But whoever does it then certainly appreciates this cam …
AVerMedia has multiple CAM versions that cost less or more … So we are talking about a brand that is dedicated to developing good cameras …
I don’t think it’s expensive if I need a professional streaming cam ect .. Or if just prefer a good product and i can afford it .. I think the balance between quality and price is ok.
The image quality is clean and the movements feel like they are live The 95 FOV Ultra-Wide angle shot is nice to try … This technology i tested with the mobile phone thanks to a special and equally expensive additional lens ..
Ps. For a best video quality you must get some settings done… just plugg in and play is not the best you can have from this cam.
I’ve tested quite a few webcams over the past year, and this one really stands out in terms of quality.
The build quality is noticeably better than budget webcams; the privacy shutter feels very solid.
Picture quality is excellent for a 1080p camera, and the high frame rate is a big plus.
I’ve been really impressed with this. I’ve used Logitech webcams extensively in recent times, and found them to be the benchmark by which others are judged. This camera is a worthy competitor.
Highly recommended, especially where higher frame rates are needed.

Good quality video calls with a wide angle, video quality in the dark is great as well. The privacy shutter works well. The camera can be swiveled but unfortunately the camera doesn’t sit tight on the screen, so it tends to be quite unsteady when rotating the angle.
Finally a webcam that delivers on exactly what it says.
There are plenty of much cheaper webcams out there, that claim to do 4k and have high resolution, however they are heavily misleading, the 4k resolution is only upscaled and not true native 4k and the resolution is not so great.
With this Avermedia webcam, you get true 1080p with 60fps, might not sound like a lot, but it’s more than enough and it actually does it really well.
The quality of the video is amazing, it works well under low light conditions, it’s mostly hardware based, meaning you don’t need a powerful computer to run this webcam, everything it does it’s straight out of the webcam, thus why the price is a bit higher than other competitors who rely on software and pc specs more.
This is a plug and play webcam, it works great straight out of the box, with mac and windows, although if you install the avermedia software you get a lot more options to tweak.
Overall, you get what you pay for here, yes it’s pricey, you can get cheaper alternatives, however Avermedia is a well known brand and they are second to none in quality.
This is a nice little webcam. It clips easily and securely to the monitor.
It is ‘plug and play’ and setup is straightforward.
The quality of the image is good and it does give a wide angle of picture. It would have been useful last Christmas when we had our lockdown family quiz on Zoom – we wouldn’t have all had to squash up together to get into the picture!
At this price point you have a right to expect a webcam, to be a substantial improvement on cheaper models and for that you are going to need to download the ‘app’. While there is not much wrong with the quality of the image without installing the app, once installed it really does offer a whole lot more.
The CAM 315 works well in all lighting conditions, even really challenging ones, such as when the subject is brightly backlit, or when light levels are poor. Though as light levels decrease, the image does suffer from graininess.
Colour accuracy is quite exceptional and the autofocus is very impressive too, producing a realistic and sharp image. The ability to enable AI Framing is something quite new and that lets the camera follow you and automatically zoom in on the subject. You can also manually adjust zoom and focus to capture more of what you want.
Sound is probably as good as you can expect from a device of this size and suffers the same echoey issues found in all those I have tested to date.
Usual additions include tripod mounting point, privacy cover and swivel capability. There is also a blue LED to tell you it is active.
Conclusion: It produces a better, more faithful image than cheaper webcams. The free CamEngine app is impressive and works faultlessly, enabling a wide range of customisations and options. At over a hundred pounds you do need to ask whether you really need to spend so much. Though if you want a quality performer, its probably worth the money.
With the amount of Zoom meeting and video calls that have been taking place overt the past year or so, the desire to have a better webcam is something that many people have felt.
This once certainly isn’t cheap, but it is a good piece of kit. I am far from being a particularly technical minded person and even I found this incredibly simple to set up and use. The picture quality is impressive. If, like me, you have only ever used the computer’s built-in camera before, then you are in for an eye-opening treat with picture quality you get with this one!
Also – in these days when you hear the worrying stories about webcams being hacked and someone, somewhere being able to observe your every move via your webcam – it is pleasantly reassuring to the sliding privacy shutter on the camera lens.
So, this is not a cheap webcam, but if you are in the market for one and you have the cash to spare, then it could be the right one for you.

One of the the problems with webcams, post Covid, is there are so many of them, and most of them are REALLY bad quality, claiming to be 4k (at 5FPS) and other such nonsense.
It’s really nice to find one that doesn’t fall into that category. This actually quite a decent webcam. It’s wide-angle, and I mean REALLY wide, and it ticks all the boxed I would expect a premium camera to tick: It delivers a solid FHD picture at 30FPS, with decent clarity, good low light performance, stereo mics that pick up well, online LED, privacy slider, flexible monitor mount, and tripod mount.
All good so far, but then we get to the price, over a hundred quid currently. Now I already have a Logitech C920, which I consider to be THE benchmark for premium webcams. It’s so good, it’s often out of stock. This is around 30 more. I feel this doesn’t add anything other than the really wide angle lens, if anything, the quality is not quite on-par with the C920 (but it’s close).
In short, if you are looking for the wide-angle, and need to go really wide, for example team meetings, or family conferences, whilst still delivering good quality, this is a great choice. If you don’t need the wide-angle, then you might want to look at alternatives.
Very good product. Superb image quality. Literally just put the usb in the computer port and the cam is ready. No driver to install and works perfectly on my Mac. Excellent productivity tool.
This is a well presented camera that gives OK results in terms of picture clarity and sound pick up. If it was about a third of the price I would have no problem in recommending it. But at over a hundred quid I am expecting at least 2K and auto focus and this is ‘only’ 1080p and fixed focus. That said it was smooth in terms of use – so maybe less bandwidth is an advantage. I found the FOV to be rather too wide for my individual use, I think this would be better for family or team situations where you want more people in frame. However that then shows up the limitation of the mic – which is fine for about a 3-4 feet, but struggles beyond that. I use a seperate lapel mic for personal and a table mic for larger teams leetings – so that will not be a problem for me – but as a one stop solution – this again falls short of the price tag.
Anstecken, kurz warten, Ausrichten und es konnte losgehen.
Die Kamera funktioniert einwandfrei, gute Farben, gute Belichtung, gute Schrfe – mehr kann man nicht erwarten. Ausprobiert mit Teams, alles einwandfrei.
Insbesondere auch sehr gut geeignet, wenn mehrere Personen oder neben der ‘Hauptperson’ auch Hintergrund und Drumrum aufgenommen werden sollen.
Fr rein chattende Einzelpersonen natrlich auch geeignet, aber dann kommt halt viel “Umgebung” mit drauf, was ja nicht immer erwnscht ist.
Je nach Einsatzzweck klare Kaufempfehlung!
Zunchst muss ich sagen, dass ich den Sichtschutz sehr gut finde. Bei meiner alten Cam hatte ich immer das Problem, dass ich sie ewig neu ausrichten muss. Hier kann ich einfach die Blende vorschieben und gut ist. Das Kabel knnte echt deutlich lnger sein. Das Kabel beginnt unterm Tisch hinten am PC und wenn ich die Cam auf meinen Monitor stelle, ist das Kabel doch schon ein wenig auf Spannung. Durch Plug and Play hatte ich mir die Qualitt zuerst angeschaut und war zunchst begeistert von der Qualitt. Das groe Sichtfeld wird auch ohne Wlbung ermglicht. Allerdings lsst die Qualitt ohne viel Licht ein wenig zu wnschen brig, wo ich mir dachte, wrde ich dafr 120 ausgeben? Eher weniger. Hier sollte man sich den Treiber unbedingt runterladen, wenn man noch einmal was aus der Cam rausholen mchte. Durch den Treiber ist die Qualitt auch ohne Flutlicht sehr schn. Allerdings habe ich mit dem Treiber und OBS ein paar Probleme. Die meiste Zeit erkennt das Programm die Cam leider nicht und zeigt kein Bild. Das ist hier ein wenig Glckssache ob man was sieht oder nicht. In anderen Programmen habe ich das Problem nicht. Wenn mal Bild da ist, habe ich ab und zu das Problem, dass das Bild ein wenig flimmert, aber das trifft eher selten ein. Insgesamt eine sehr gute Cam aus der man sehr viel holen kann, wenn man sich mit ihr auseinandersetzt.

L’avantage est de n’avoir qu’un seul cble et donc une seule prise USB.
Elle rivalise avec le leader de ces produits, celui qui fait aussi des souris.
Pas besoin de pilote. On la branche et votre audio-vido la reconnat immdiatement.
Un astucieux petit cache coulisse et se met devant l’objectif. Un gadget qui peut parfois viter une intrusion dans votre intimit mme si une prcaution basique vite aussi cela. Disons que pour ceux dont la scurit informatique n’est pas le fort, a leur vite des dsagrments.
Par contre, je trouve le prix de 119 un peu lev par rapport ce qu’on trouve sous d’autres marques.
Bref, dans l’ensemble, l’achat vaut le coup!
fr PC bei 60FPS/ 60 Hz mit Abdeckung aus dem Vine Programm bestellt. Mein PC-Stream brauchte eine neue Cam. Die Lieferung erfolgte wie blich recht schnell. Die Cam kam gut Verpackung hier an. Die die Verarbeitungsqualitt nach der ersten in Augenscheinnahme ist einfach super. Die Cam hat eine Kamera Abdeckung, falls man dieses Zubehr bentigt. Der der Halter/Stand-Fu lsst sich einstellen, wie man es grade auf den Monitor. Aber es gibt auch die Mglichkeit die Cam auf ein Stativ zu montieren. Die Cam lsst sich einfach installieren mit dem USB-Stecker and der Cam den PC/Laptop verbinden und den Rest erledigt Windows 10 per Plug and Play (Treiber installieren nicht ntig). Und wir im Gerte- Manger als ACR010 PW315USB Webcam erkannt. Eine Anleitung in Deutsch ist dabei, das ist mal vorbildlich-
Aber es ist ratsam sich von AverMedia die CamEngine fr Windows 10 per Download sich zu besorgen, hiermit kann man nochmal viele diverse Einstellungen in der in der Webcam vornehmen, was hier sehr vorteilhaft ist. Der Download fr die CamEngine fr Windows 10 ist auf der Seite nicht ganz einfach zu finden, einfach mal ber Google suchen, mein Rat habe ich auch gemacht.
Zu meinem Test.
Ich habe die Cam, auf dem Monitor obenauf positioniert, den Halter eingestellt, sitzt gut auf dem Monitor. Als nchstes habe ich erstmal die Cam Energy installiert und ihr bekommt auch gleich in diesem Zuge, die passenden Treiber mitinstalliert. Hier kann man auch diverse Einstellungen vornehmen (Kontrast, Gamma, Anti -flimmern, Weiabgleich usw.). Und das Ganze auf seine persnlichen Bedrfnisse einstellen, was auch super funktioniert und mir sehr gefallen hat.
Ich habe bei der Cam, die Bildqualitt und die Tonqualitt unter Skype und OBS Studio bei Live-Streams auf Twitch getestet. Fr Aufnahmen in Live-Streams ist die Cam Top geeignet, bei einem Bild von 1080P bei 60Hz und 60 FPS. Man hat ein klares und super Bild, selbst bei schnelleren Bewegungen, gibt es da keine Einschrnkungen und auch bei Standbildern, Aufnahme ohne Bewegung hat mich die Cam wirklich voll berzeugen knnen. Der Autofokus funktioniert auch einwandfrei. Der Ton vom Mikrofon ist auch sehr gut mit dem eingebauten Stereo-Mikrofone und hrt sich recht klar und sauber an. Mit der OBS Stream-Software hat es funktioniert und man hat ein gutes Bild beim Stream. Der Ton ist aber nicht fr mich wichtig in diesem Fall gewesen, da ich sowieso ein externes Micro nutze. Und ist fr professionellen im Stream-Bereich sehr zu empfehlen zu empfehlen.

Ich nutze seit Jahren schon eine Video Capture Card extern in 4K die mir seit ber 2 Jahren gute Dienste leistet. Mir war bis dato blo nicht bekannt das AverMedia wirklich eine so gute Webcam herstellt.
Die Cam liefert ihre 1080 p und 60FPS bei 60 Hz ab. An der Kamera im vorderen Sichtbereich ist blaue Status-LEDs fr in Betrieb vorhanden. Was ich allerdings schon von Vorteil ist, weil man sieht das die Cam im Betrieb. Fr Live Streams im Profi Bereich, ist die Cam absolut geeignet, das haben viele live Streams auf twitch mir besttigt. Ich habe noch diverse Video Konferenzen mit der Cam durchgefhrt, auch da wurde mir von meinem Gegenpart besttigt, dass sich die Bildqualitt jetzt ums doppelte verbessert hat. Natrlich kann man auch die Cam im privaten Bereich/Home Office und beim Skypen zum Beispiel super nutzen. Hier erledigt die Webcam einen super Job. Ich finde gerade in Zeiten des Home Office, ist die Webcam von AverMedia wirklich mal ein sehr gelungenes Produkt. Da spreche ich hier aus Erfahrung, da ist schon viele Webcams in den letzten 12 Monaten getestet habe. Und gerade, wo Webcams in dieser Zeit sehr teuer sind, bekommt man fr einen fairen Preis von ca.120 eine absolut Top HD 1080 P Webcam, wo auch mal ein gutes Stereo- Micro verbaut ist. Wer keinen Wert auf 4 K Kameras legt (die derzeit unbezahlbar sind), liegt bei dieser Voll HD Webcam goldrichtig. Ich werde die Webcam, als Haupt- Webcam fr Aufnahme meiner Ttigkeiten, whrend des Live-Steam benutzen, um sie weiter zu testen. Und habe meine andere alte Webcam eines anderen Marken Herstellers auf meinem zweiten PC verband. Die AverMedia ist nicht nur ein fr Model: Profil Livestreamer sondern auch sehr gut fr Einsteiger/ privat Anwender und beim Home-Office fr Video Konferenzen zu nutzen. Gerade fr Anwender, den es wichtig, ist eine gute Bild und Tonqualitt zu haben, liegen hier genau richtig. Danke das ich die Cam testen drfte. Den Preis sehr angemessen, fr die hochwertige Qualitt der Webcam. Anmerkung an den Hersteller, es wre sehr schn, wenn man die CamEngine direkt unter den Produktinformationen der PW315 Webcam als Download finden knnte. Das wrde vielen Besitzern der Kamm Suche nach der Software erleichtern. Von mir gibt es hier, 4.5 -5 Sterne. Ich hoffe, dass meine Rezession fr euch hilfreich gewesen ist.
Habe erstmal Zweifel mit dem Preis, aber tolle Bildauflsung! Super Produkt, all das lohnt sich! Definitiv 5 Stars!

Plastiche robuste e ben curate con aggancio morbido e saldo a clip per il bordo dello schermo.
La prima operazione da fare l’installazione del software. Se l’installazione andr a buon fine potrete inserire la webcam in una porta USB per il suo riconoscimento che avverr dopo pochi istanti.
Il software ha veramente tante utili funzionalit, come la possibilit di variare le impostazioni video, eliminare il rumore di fondo, catturare immagini ed altre pi “sbarazzine” come tanti simpatici effetti da poter aggiungere alla propria persona durante il collegamento video.
L’inquadratura appare ampia e senza distorsioni, come la definizione e la fluidit del video, regolare e senza difetti o rallentamenti inopportuni. Entrano benissimo pi persone, ottima sia per lavoro on-line che per piacere. L’inquadratura pu essere modificata, ruotata, invertita, “zoomando” fino a 6x, memorizzata e richiamabile in maniera rapida con un clic sulle 15 miniature disponibili con il software.
In ambienti luminosi la risoluzione (max 1920×1080) si esprime al meglio concedendo visualizzazioni davvero eccellenti anche in movimento, i colori risultano naturali o modificabili come si vuole.
Il microfono funziona benissimo, con il suono che arriva molto chiaro e pulito anche se ci si muove, come confermato dai miei interlocutori.
*CONCLUSIONI
Prodotto molto valido. Consigliato a chi ha necessit anche per lavoro di un’ampia inquadratura, ottimo audio privo distorsioni, utile in particolare quando si in pi persone di fronte alla webcam.
Spero che questa mia esperienza possa esservi utile nella scelta.
Otras caractersticas de esta cmara son, resolucin de 1920×1080 con hasta 60fps, se puede configurar tambin a 50hz o resoluciones inferiores. A 50hz si se nota un leve parpadeo en la imagen pero a 60hz no se aprecia. Dispone de un sensor de 2 Megapixel y un doble micrfono stereo omnidireccional. Y algo que me ha enamorado especialmente es que tiene enfoque fijo, por tanto te evitas las peleas con el autoenfoque que hace la imagen se vuelva borrosa en determinadas situaciones de luz. Al usar enfoque fijo si acercas algo a la cmara a 10 cm se ve levemente borroso, pero a 20cm (un palmo) enfoca un texto perfectamente.
La estructura externa de la cmara es un cilindro, que a los lados esta protegida con metal y eso se nota en el peso, cosa que se agradece, porque otras cmaras ms ligeras se me caen del monitor. Y para acoplarse a los monitores lleva un sistema de pinza con una bisagra fuerte que no se abre con facilidad; y en toda la zona de apoyo de la pinza lleva gomas para mejorar la adherencia y proteger los roces. Adems incluye tuerca para acoplarlo a trpodes y como detalle de privacidad trae una tapa deslizante para proteger el objetivo.
La calidad de imagen que logra la cmara es buena, en condiciones de poca luz tampoco se porta mal aunque como es lgico ya hace aparicin algo de ruido. No tiene retardo casi apreciable en el movimiento, puede que algunos milisegundos. Y con los programas como Zoom, Skype, Nvidia Broadcast, se porta genial a la hora de sustituir el fondo mediante inteligencia artificial.
Tambin podemos instalar el software de la cmara el CamEngine con el que podremos controlar brillo, contraste, algunas opciones de inteligencia artificial y seguimiento de encuadre, as como algunos efectos divertidos. Para que la cmara funcione, no es necesario ningn driver, ya que la detecta el sistema operativo automticamente. La he podido probar en Windows 10 y Linux y funciona al instante, tambin es compatible con MacOS.
Con respecto al sonido del micrfono, es el nico detalle en el que no destaca, es un sonido como encerrado, tirando un poco a metlico, aunque se escucha correctamente y tiene un buen alcance de varios metros, pero le falta claridad. Pero no le resta demasiado al resto del conjunto de la cmara que tiene un gran comportamiento.
