Compared to my old garden hose splitter, this is so much better.
This does not leak, the taps work easily, so it does what it is supposed to do without problem, very happy with this.
I bought this for my father based on the previous reviews and price. He has been using it for a few weeks now and is absolutely delighted with it. Installed in seconds and taking up permanent residence on his outdoor tap, the splitter looks great and is highly functional. I would defiantly recommend.
if you need to plug a micro watering system and a hose in to a tap at the same time, then this is ideal. No leaks, valves are easy to operate.
Excellent quality 2 way hose splitter with each way separately controlled. I have one side hooked up to a timed irrigation system and the other side is used for a hose. Works perfectly with a good selection of fittings.
This is exactly what I wanted for my caravan water supply, with extra outlet for other matters. Fits well, with no leakage & looks good.
Easy to fit, no leaks and feels quality strong. I connected my auto timer one side leaving the second free to use as required. Great product I would highly recommend and the tap leaver is a good size allowing easy on/ off function with out leaks. Very happy with this product.
Great product easy to put on tool 2 second no grips needed just hand tighten and we have use it every day works flawlessly.
Although not shown in the picture the threads on the outlets are slotted from top to bottom. While that helps with expansion it creates a channel for water to escape under pressure. More of a problem with short fittings.

This 2 way hose splitter feels study and that it will last. It is metal and plastic construction, and comes with extra washers in case the seal starts to leak. The screw threads tighten nicely and are easy to attach and remove.
It forms a good connection to the hose connectors, but I would recommend spending a bit and buying decent brand hose connectors (such as the popular yellow ones) to ensure nothing leaks and stays firmly connected. I always find its cheap connectors that are the issue.
The shut-off levers are easy to use, to shut off either of the outputs. And the levers are large enough to easy move, even with gloves on. And you can easy see which direction they are currently in.
I’ve tried a few different splitters and this seems thr best I’ve owned so far.

Bought this for my elderly grandparents as they couldn’t turn the brass ones as the clips was too small but on this one they are bigger and are suitable for people who suffer with illnesses like arthritis.

This is such a great product as we can water both the back and front garden at the same time.
I had one of these from a well known garden hose brand last year for a similar price but it had nothing on this and didn’t last.
I purchased this thinking it may work as well but it feels sturdy and does not let a drip out. East to install and use.
Product does feel hefty and well built.
Will point out, it leaked when first installed. This was due to our tap thread not even reaching the washer, I fixed this by added one of the spare washers.
Best test of durability, will it survive the winter.
Originally purchased back in August. It felt like a very sturdy and well made product which worked well.
When the weather started to get a little colder I turned off the main outside tap and drained the splitter. However I thought it would be ok like this to leave outside… big mistake!
I tried to use the splitter again last week as the weather has started to warm up again, but to my horror, water was spraying out all over the place.
I contacted the supplier would advised that the unit should be disconnected from the outside tap, wiped over and stored away from the cold when not in use over winter.
I thought this would be ok for leaving drained outside, but seems not.
Great customer service from the supplier however who provided a free of charge replacement item.
The splitter is well made with the exterior covered in a rubberised coating and the handles are easy to use and feel fairly sturdy. The fittings are the right size and it comes with plenty of spare rubber seals. There are two negatives, the main screw fitting feels ever so slightly loose on the tap so you need to screw it on tight so it does not leak. The other two screw fittings to attach the hose two appear to have slightly flattened sides, this means the fittings leak unless you really tighten up the attachments or use some PTFE tape on the threads. If tightened correctly then it works exactly as it should.
Mostly I’ve learned to mistrust cheap unknown branded hose attachments as they tend to leak. Took a chance on this one having read reviews and I’m very glad I did. No leaking, great fit and seems to be really well made. Very happy.
Having got fed up with cheaper versions being a bit hit and miss decided not to look for cheap on this occasion. As a result this is the best tap double adapter I have bought. Very well sturdy, well- made, positive tap action. Recommend this
Why didn’t I buy one of these years ago? Easy to install and can now use hosepipe on back garden as well as filling watering cans for front garden (hosepipe doesn’t extend that far).
I wanted to be able to sometimes use a hose in addition to my timed watering system. This is very sturdy and has NO leaks. There are spare washers as well. I am very pleased!

We previously had a splitter that had “hozelock” connectors. We put in an irrigation system and a water timer that required a connection with screw fittings. This did the job brilliantly at a low cost, i already had a screw on hozelock adapter i added on one side, and the water time on the other and so solved the problem. Excellent, top marks!
Very high quality with nice accessories (washers, filters, adaptors, connectors, etc.). Actually made in Germany and that quality shows. Easy to install and a very nice smooth action on the two valves. The best of the bunch when it come to these types of garden accessories.
Very happy with this splitter. I had previously bought a brass one, but couldn’t operate the levers to shut off the water, as they were small and very stiff.
This splitter came with everything including connectors and extra seals. The large nut that screws onto the tap initially made contact with the bottom of the tap body and that prevented the nut from being tightened enough to seal it. I installed a second rubber washer inside the nut ( supplied) and this solved the problem.
The large nut is easy to grip and tighten. No tools were required.
The levers to open each side are long enough to get a good grip on, but they are smooth to operate anyway.
I was wary when I ordered this because the market is flooded with cheap rubbish and its country of manufacture did not inspire confidence. However, when it arrived I first noticed the weight, then the fact that the manufacturer is German, and then when I opened it I noticed that what looks like cheap plastic is about 80% brass, with a bit of plastic covering it. With some spare washers to ensure a tight fit to my brass outdoor tap, it is the first water-tight connection I have had for my hose in a couple of years. Only had a week so cannot comment on longevity, but all the signs are good.
Why have one outlet when you can have two? Somehow there never seem to be enough outlets, and this fixes that.
Easy to install and operate.
Great to have a second tap connection even if to wash your hands while the garden hose is still connected.
Still working and has survived winter well.
This hose splitter is great in all ways easy install comes with additional o rings , real difference is it’s a double screw on as opposed to push on which is what we wanted only slight downside is you will need ptfe tape for tap connection , well we did. This was no hardship screwfix sell for 29p a roll .
The CALISH 2 Way Garden Hose Splitters are excellent splitters but the one that came did not come with an inch adaptor & only 1 spare rubber washer. This was not important to me as I have lots.
My previous one leaked from the top of the Y. I purchased a Hozelock splitter to replace it but it was awful, the valves where stiff with confusing positions, was more expensive & it restricted water flow. I sent it back & got another CALISH. I would buy them again although disappointed that the first one sprung a leak.
A lot of these twin taps suffer in the winter if left on and I have to leave mine on as they are used year round, most including the brass ones end up splitting in the frost even when covered, but this has lasted so far with no cover, nice smooth taps and no leaking, pleased so far.
I am very happy with this hose splitter. It is of really good build quality with no leakage. I can now leave the hose connected whilst using the secondary tap.
Each section has its own tap also, very helpful when I just want to fill up a bucket without filling up the hose.
The only issue I had was with my Tap – this needed to be replaced s water was coming out of the top constantly with the splitter and Hozelock timer installed. NOTE. this was nothing to do with either the Splitter of Hozelock watering system installed.
I’ve had a Hozelock automatic watering system installed and working now for approximately 6 weeks. This means the tap has to be constantly to the connection to the timer and off on the other connection I use for either attaching the hose or manually filling watering cans.
Apart from forgetting that I simply have to turn the knob on the adaptor I’ve not had any issues!
I will however disconnect for winter as obviously don’t need automatic watering in the Winter months!
Does what it’s supposed to do. Taps are a bit close together but otherwise OK.

I have only had this for a short while. I have normally bought Hozelock products but have recently found their products to be defective after a few weeks, so I thought I would give this product a try. I am impressed with this device so far and like the build quality so I will continue to purchase their products for the immediate future. I will no-longer use hoselock.
Have tried several splitters in the past all with varying degrees of failure! Definitely wouldn’t recommend any of the plastic types – not even those by well established companies as they fail over a short time. This brass and rubber fitting was a doddle to attach and provides a good drip free connection to the hosepipe and the spoilt pooches shower unit. Good buy! Only 4 stars overall as I have only been using for around a month. So far so good 🙂
This a good product. The levers make it easy to turn the flow on and off and to easily see if the flow is on or off. Very useful if you can’t actually see the end of your hose or whatever it is connected to. The first one I received leaked at the tap connector that wasn’t seated correctly on body of the adaptor. This second one is fine but I do have have to use two of the supplied rubber washers to get it tight. This might be just my tap that seems to have a short thread though, although I’ve never had this issue before.

Having tried 3 other makes of hose splitter that all leaked or had dodgy switches I was pleasantly surprised to find this item did exactly what it should! It seems strong and durable, is easily fitted and does the job without leaking. Messages from the seller after buying with advice about using the hose splitter showed a regard for customer service too. I would definitely recommend this item.
I bought one to so I can leave my hose connected permanently , leaving separate tap spare. Its necessary to use the spare washer to avoid leaks. Works well.
My only concern is the warning that the plastic parts may crack in extreme cold weather.
I think these are really sturdy, highly functional, and good looking. The fact that I’ve bought this second one after using the other one for some time now says it all I guess.
Nice chunky hose splitter that’s easy to install and simple to use (even with gardening gloves on). I needed one feed for the garden hose and one for an automated watering system and this splitter fitted the bill exactly. It arrived promptly and the fitting instructions (although not really needed as it is such a simple product) were clear and precise. Unlike other similar products, this one doesn’t seem to ‘weep’ around any of the joints and the individual tap controls are firm but don’t need too much effort. Overall a great product.
We have been caravanning on a site in Spain on a pitch with its own water tap. Have bought numerous tap adapters over the years and they have all been very unsuccessful. Found this at Amazon last year and have spent many months with this valve and it is superb. No drips!!! I have just bought an additional one for my back garden. I would no hesitate to recommend this product. It is absolutely excellent.
I bought this to for to the outside tap which in the warmer weather has a hose pipe fitted. The Calish splitter is well made and robustly fits to the screw thread of the tap. When I used the pressurised hose the splitter did leak so I fitted an extra washer and so far it has been OK. Good Buy.

The rubber coated open/shut levers that controls the flow of water are easy to use, and comfortable.
This product also comes with two male hose connectors that fit snug over the splitter, making it easier for removing and connecting different products.
There simply isn’t a bad thing I can say about this product, so five stars all the way.
Prompt and efficient service and delivery, this product works well as either a) taking from 1 main tap and splitting into 2 leads off or as I am using it from b) taking from hot and cold outside taps (2 taps) and then by reversing the mixer tap to add to a single hose to enable me to wash my dogs outside with controlled temperature water.
Having tried the ‘Garden Hose Splitter’ for both its original and its dual purpose, I would not hesitate to recommend this product.
This y valve is solid and good quality. I joined one side to the garden hose to water the plants and the other side for when I want to use the pressure washer to clean the patio or just to wash something. I like that it has a little lever on each side to enable you switch whichever side you need. I may get a four way in the future when I fix an automatic watering system. I would thoroughly recommend this.

Great quality product and built solidly to last. Came complete with all that is needed, including 4 extra washers, two hose connectors and threaded size adaptor for a smaller threaded tap. Well packaged and prompt delivery. When I connected up to tap and turned on, it was leaking excessively at the top where it screwed on to tap. I unscrewed the two-way splitter and fitted an extra washer (supplied), reattached to the tap, and it was perfect with no leaks. Each of the two individual taps, one for each hose, are easy to turn on anmd off, and there are no leaks from them or anywhere.
I bought this because it is made of metal and looks like it could survive a cold snap. It is very well made and works beautifully, so I can keep the hose attached to one side and fill up watering cans from the other. The turn off valves are perfect and will turn off the water without you having to turn off the tap, so far I cannot fault this item and it was well worth paying a bit more for something like this and of this quality.
Excellent quality, especially the built in taps, but does reduce the flow rate. This will probably be no problem if you have a strong mains pressure.
It swivels easily on the top adaptor and the on off levers feel positive and are easy to turn. My wife always has weak hands and fingers and often has difficulty turning things on and off but she has no problem with this product. Have had it for over a year and it’s very solid and robust. It has a two year warranty but it feels like it will last for many more years to come. So good that I’m just about to buy another one.
However, be aware that the price varies like a yo yo. This morning it was 3 more expensive but even at 12 it is steal.
Having bought a more expensive plastic two way garden tap splitter from a well known in store brand only to find it leaked, I decided to try this cheaper version from a much less well known brand from amazon. I have been using it for over a month now and am delighted with its quality. Made of metal it seems solidly built and durable and was easier to install than the shop bought one, and being green in colour fits in better with my garden. Based on my use of this product I would highly recommend it. I would have given it five stars but nothing is perfect.
Excellent two-way splitter which fits directly to the tap.
The body is plastic and looks sturdy. However, I am concerned at the vulnerability if a hose gets a yank for whatever reason as the bending moment about the neck just below the tap outlet would then be substantial. A way to mitigate this is to have the hoses passing through pipe clips affixed to the wall a foot or so below the splitter.
After an enormous amount of trouble with a Gardena splitter and a brass splitter I was about to despair, when I tried this item. I’ve ended up with two joined together to make a staggered three way on one tap as it is pretty water tight and the little lever for turning on the water is so smooth in action. Not survived a winter yet….I may disengage them for frosts or wrap some horticultural fleece round them
This splitter works a treat. Both systems can work side by side. We control the two items by using the levers. (The main wall tap being set to a constant pressure that is suitable for both systems). It comes with extra washers to secure any leaks – I used a 2nd washer for this, and also used the tape supplied as added insurance.
I hope the item is weatherproof and durable — and will update my review accordingly if not. On purchase, it appears to be very strong and of good quality. An easy solution!
Super bit of kit, nice solid metal construction and far superior to the plastic ones available at similar prices. It came with two spare click connectors that are compatible with the usual UK/European hose connectors and four spare washers are also included. Only took a couple of minutes to fit and there were no leaks or problems. Bought this for our garden tap where a timer for the watering system is fitted. With the splitter the timer is fitted to one side and a short hose for filling the watering can to the other. It saves a lot of time disconnecting and reconnecting the timer when filling the watering can or using the hose and was well worth the small outlay. Am now ordering another for use elsewhere.
