Cordless Drill Driver,Brushless 20V Hammer Drill with 2Pcs

 

I was looking to replace my very aged Bosch cordless drill, and was keen to go brushless. This drill is really well made, great value, small and light. It has the benefit of a little LED lamp, and a two speed gear selector. It’s got a wide range of torque settings, plus options for driving, drilling and hammer-drilling. The two batteries came fully charged, I’ve made several bits of flat pack furniture, put up a house full of new curtain poles and more, and I’ve still got two bars of three on the first battery. So far, I’m very impressed, especially for the price.

 

OK so I needed a second combi to complement my elderly Makita which doesn’t charge so well these days- like us all.

Decided to try a “budget” drill as only used when the Mak is charging. Looked for good reviews and brought another make – it had loads of cheap bits and bobs included, none that would have stood up to serious work and the drill was poorly made, it was terrible so it went back unused

I originally missed this one, so ordered this to see if one if the cheapest brushless 20v combi’s would be any good. Been using it all afternoon and to be honest it’s fabulous.

So will need to see how battery performs over time but first impressions is how do they do this for 80 with two batteries

Ok it’s not a modern Makita but it’s sturdy well made, brushless and at less than half the price of the lower powered 18v equivalent it just does the job

Came in no frills cardboard box, no case, bag or bits – this works for me as they are usually terrible quality, only the essentials, the drill, charger and 2 batteries.

It’s quite compact, light and quiet enough. Loads of power and performance.

On the basis if an afternoon of hard work on the first battery it’s going to be a good performer, if I put my brand snobbery to one side, I actually like the way it works and holds

No surprises that I’m definitely going to recommend this combi. If things go south later, I’ll update

 

My Black and Decker Firestorm died recently. Those now cost around 80.

This drill driver is absolutely brilliant. Compact and comfy to use with all the settings you really need.

The thing helped me put an entire bedroom suite together from flat pack in no time at all. The battery pack still shows almost full!

Comes with two batteries and a compact charger.

You’ll need to get a set of bits… Mine needed replacing anyway so that didn’t bother me.

The drill settings put up a whole house worth of shelves and curtain rails without any issues. I’ve not tested it in industrial conditions but it’s made short work of all household level work.

Brilliant value and so far no signs of poor quality construction.

Need a case but mine actually fitted perfectly into my old firestorm case… eerily well.

The little LED lights up dark areas as you drill and the battery indicator is on the battery… So you never have to connect a battery only to find you need to charge it… You just check it before you attach it… Simples.

I absolutely recommend this drill!

 

I would’ve really liked this drill to come in a case or least the opportunity to buy one as I keep all my tools electronic ones in cases. I should also warn users that when tightening the Chuck To be careful as it can since it’s so powerful to have the skin off your hand if you’re not careful.I don’t know what its battery life will be as I have not used it for that long.

 

Drill was well packed and both batteries were fully charged. The drill is light the working lamp is bright and the drilling action is very smooth. After a spell of prolonged drilling the unit battery was recharged very quickly. The keyless chuck works well and holds drill bits very positively. I have not had my drill very long but so far I find it excellent.

 

I picked this product because of the price, it had a brushless motor and metal gears. I am a keen DIY person, so it seemed pointless buying a branded drill at twice the cost of this one. My old drill has 2 batteries of 2Ahr and this has always been sufficient.
I have used the drill on masonry (6mm), on timber up to 28mm and on steel and this was13mm. The drill performed with any problems, especially on timber where I drilled several 28mm holes through 25mm timber, the drill did not overheat and performed brilliantly. I am still on the first battery. I would recommend this product, even for a trades person.

 

Arrived quick. Compared to my old drill this is nice small and not too heavy. Really well made, I was worried about the quality as a brand I didn’t know. Tested it with my old drill and this was able to drill in thick wood twice as far and possibly more if I’d pushed it. Good operation, the instructions don’t tell you much and there is no support information or even a website to visit for help or questions. No where to register the product.
Apart from that it does what is says. Quick charge battery and easy to remove and charge. You get 2 batteries.
