Love these, look great, super comfortable and great Sound quality (I have some nice Bose QC headphones for comparison). Make sure to install Dolby Atmos for gaming otherwise directional sound isn’t great.

i have bought and sold every headset under the sun from steel series to asto ive had it and sold it ,, but the HS 80 is by far the best headset out them all the sound the comfort the build beat them all and at the price too it’s a steal
So to begin with i originally had the razer barracuda pro,but they had so many issues with the sound and the software that i thought,you know what surely i can get a better headset than them.
So i started looking around and came across these the corsair HS80 RGB USB,I am so glad that i did.
These beat the razer headset hands down,sound 10 times better,and the software actually works with these-Being icue.
I am so glad that i found these,a lot of people seem to be complaining about the sound quality,honestly don’t even bother reading the negative reviews about these,it’s definitely NOT the case.
These are simply amazing for the price and the sound quality,they are more than worth it.
If you are like me and looking for a decent headset with a good price as well,don’t think twice get these you will surely not be dissapointed.

Con’s:
– Tonqualitt etwas gewhnungsbedrftig, wenn man vorher Kopfhrer mit grerer Klangreichweite gehabt hat.
– iCUE Software hat paywalls um einige features zu nutzen, die man so normal eigentlich htte Nutzen knnen.
– Kabel leider nicht mit Stoff umgebunden und daher fr Schden etwas anflliger.
Verdict:
Ich bin mit dem Kauf der HS80 echt zufrieden und kann den Kauf nur weiterempfehlen, da diese fr ein Gaming Headset von Mikrofon und Sound gut ausbalanciert sind fr den Preis. Kleine Probleme mit der Softwarehandhabung sind bei der allgemeinen Produktqualitt nicht allzu schlimm!

Hat nicht den besten Klang, finde die Tonqualitt von meinem alten Teufel Cage besser. Allerdings ist das HS80 von Corsair mega bequem und ber das Programm einfach einzurichten. Ich bin zufrieden!
Ein mega heatset mit krass guter Mic Quali aber leider ist es nicht empfehlenswert fr Konsole da man es nicht einstellen kann mit einen Equalizer und der Sound so etwas schlecht ist. Und man braucht fr das Headset einen kleinen Kopf oder durchschnittlichen aber mit einen groen Kopf ist es sehr unbequem auf Dauer .
I’ve had my Razer Kraken Championship Edition for 7 years and never had a wireless headset until now.
This is super comfy, compared to the ear cups I had before that started to fall apart this mesh material actually feels more comforting.
The sound is great, actually a lot less harsher than the Razer.

Not really tested on gaming yet but I’m sure its miles better than what I had.
I recommend this headset just because its Corsair and the price is actually good for what you get.
UPDATE: After almost 2 weeks of usage, I have found that the battery life is definately not that it advertises, I have had a few occasions where I would use it for around 2 hours and the battery dies, not sure if this is a fault or something but after less than 2 weeks its a bit concerning.
But they’re still comfortable to wear and sound great.
Positivo: Cmodos, buenos materiales, sonido bueno, muy bonitos.
Negativo: Cable USB demasiado corto, no incluye licencia Dolby Atmos, y para que suene realmente bien tienes que tener dicha aplicacin instalada (recien salido de la caja el sonido es normal). Por el precio debera incluirlo, aunque Corsair iCue permite ecualizarlos a tu gusto, pero no parece muy bueno el ecualizador.
Great headphones for games like warzone 2 and Tarkov! Very happy clear sound without program with program from corsair even better but not necessary!
Use them for work and gaming. Brilliant earphones. You can wear them for 6-8 hours easy.
Die Preisleistung passt, die Klangqualitt ist genauso gut wie bei den XT fr weniger Geld und einem hheren Tragekomfort. Sehr zu empfehlen.
I bought this to replace my void pro which I loved but the battery died on, these are a good replacement for them, they sound great and are comfortable but there are a couple of flaws. Firstly they can get quite uncomfortable if you are a glasses wearer, causing your glasses to dig in. Not sure if it is just a problem with mine but when I use discord I have to turn off and on my headset for it to pick up my voice and then it mutes itself after I leave a call. Apart from that it’s really decent and good value for money.
Hatte noch nie so ein geiles Headset wie dieses….jaja blablablabla standmikro, Kondensator mikro ach ka was es noch alles gibt sind besser…Schwachsinn, also irgendwo schon besser aber fr den 5fachen Preis….
Das ist das erste Headset das kein Mll mikro hat, war sehr berrascht, auch das man einstellen kann das man sich selber hrt ^^
Auch auf discord wurde mir mehrfach gesagt das ich mich sehr gut anhre…vorallem klar…kein rauschen kein irgendwas…einfach perfekt.
Wie von den anderen beschrieben ist der Sound auf Standard ja sagen wir nicht so brutal, aber dafr gibt’s ja die corsair app frn PC. Da kannst dir alles einstellen und bam hrt sich 10 mal besser an.
Auer die app macht mal wieder faxen und will nicht das machen was ich ihr sag. Einfach neu installieren, hat bei mir geholfen.( Bis jetzt hatte ich mit der App nie Probleme, nur 1 einziges Mal, als es ein Update nicht bernehmen wollte, aber dann einfach wie oben beschrieben das machen und gut ist)
Was noch dazu kommt ist, das es so derbe bequem ist das man es eig gar nicht mehr merkt, wenn man es auf hat. Vorallem fr Brillentrger sehr gut geeignet.
Also alles im allen, perfektes Headset mit brutal geilem mikro. Definitiv kaufen!
Got it mostly for work. Better mic than most other wireless headphones I have tested. I wish it had microphone noise cancelling. The dongle doesn’t turn off if you turn off the headphones. It’s bothersome because I have to change mic and sound output every time. Overall, recommend.
If you don’t wear glasses this headset would be pretty good for you.
i previously had the new steel series nova pro and the microphone was awful and would randomly do a high pitched noise. so switched to this one everyone says the mic is way better. it sounds really good most of the time i forget i have it on its that comfy. the only downside is the connection can be bad, i move to the other side of room and it starts beeping at me so it doesnt go far at all constantly beeps at you. sometimes the mic will show red even when its flipped down i usally have to flip it up and down about 6 times to get it to actually turn on.. but other than that id say this 100 headset is better than the 300 steel series nova pro
Mic is better when using USB but not too much difference when wireless. Good range. Battery life is alright considering I use it every day for 8hrs+ and have side tone enabled which really helps keep my volume in check.
Decent headset. Main issues have been pc related (sometimes disconnects etc) so not really something to comment on for this.
So I decided to send the headset back and buy this one on the amazon prime day on finance for 20 a month. If I didn’t make this decision then I probably would’ve left corsair for good.
This headset is absolutely fantastic, audio quality is top notch coming from someone that adores good audio. most comfortable by a country mile and its also a lot lighter than I expected being wireless with batteries.
To my surprise the mic on this thing is better than my dedicated Tonor microphone! All my discord mates appreciate the mic on this headset a lot more than my proper one. And of course you have the mic flip-up mute feature that I use profusely.
All in all I will probably be using this thing for many years to come and I hope you do too.
These is a good headphone for gaming. But you cannot expect premium quality sound like bose headphones. Base is a bit lower.
Mic quality is decent. Though when I compared with my s22 ultra mic I found my phone has better mic.
Apart from that, I love everything about the headset. It feels comfortable (and I have a fairly large head), and it sounds really, really good in Atmos mode. The headset only really comes to life in Atmos mode, so ignore the regular settings.
All in all, a great headset, when it’s charged.
Ich habe mir dieses Headset geholt nach dem ich von den Epos h6 pro bundle malos enttuscht wurde.
Tldr: Super Tragekomfort, bestes Mikrofon, Oker Klang und gute Software.
Dieses Headset wurde im Amazon warehouse in der Kondition Sehr gut fr 110 gekauft, da nach meiner Erfahrung bei neuen Headsets sehr gut einmal geffnet und getragen bedeutet+ man sich meistens 15% spart.
Erstmal vorab dieses Headset kostet in Amerika ovp 100$ hat oft Angebote fr 90$. Also schon etwas sehr teuer hier in Europa.
Tragekomfort: Eines der gemtlichsten Headsets auf dem Markt. Bin brillen Trger mit greren runden Kopf und diese Kopfhrer kann ich unendlich lang tragen. Selbst die Wrme Entwicklung fr geschlossene Kopfhrer ist gering. Dafr lassen die earpads halt etwas sound flten im Vergleich zu z. B beyerdynamic dt 770 pros. Was aber komplett in Ordnung ist meiner Meinung nach.
Mikro: Im Vergleich zum Hyper X cloud II, Beyerdynamic Mmx 300, Epos h6 pro und dem Drop PC37x. Gewinnen diese Kopfhrer.
Ich habe diese Kopfhrer auch noch mal mit meinem Auna 900r auf passenden Mikrofon Arm mit 5cm Entfernung verglichen und bin immernoch geschockt.
Dieses Headset kommt natrlich nicht ganz an ein dynamisches oder Kondensator Mikrofon ran, aber dies wre auch zu viel verlangt und unrealistisch. Aber ich musste ernsthaft 2x im Post edit Nachhren ob es wirklich so gut klingt.
Im neuen icue update ist auch nvidia broadcast dabei. Was fr gute Rausch und echo Unterdrckung ohne Kompressor sorgt. Fr jeden der eine rtx Karte besitzt eine klare Empfehlung um umsonst und leicht alles aus dem Mikro rauszuholen.
Klang: Ja gut als jemand der normalerweise eine dedezierte amp und beyerdynamic dt 990 250ohm mit eq benutzt beeindruckt der Sound jetzt nicht wirklich als zu sehr. Aber wir reden hier von normalerweise 110 Kopfhrern. Dafr ist der Sound recht neutral und kann sich hren lassen fr Bass Liebhaber gibt es einen guten Bass preset von corsair der etwas kitzelt immerhin. Ist halt wie gesagt alles OK und im Gesamtpaket nichts verkehrtes.
Qualitt/Bau: Die Kopfhrer sind recht flexibel. Man kann die earcups drehen fr um sie gemtlich um den Nacken zu tragen. Das kopfband lsst sich leicht einstellen und passt fr fast alle Kopfformen. Vielleicht Menschen mit ziemlich kleinen Kpfen knnten ein Problem haben. Die earpads fhlen sich wertig an und ich liebe das Material. Mal gucken wie lange diese halten, werde das Review updaten, falls es innerhalb von einen Jahr schon zu Problemen kommt.
Das Mikrofon lsst sich hochklappen um es zu muten dieses hat taktisches Feedback damit man wei, ob es nun gemutet ist. Sonst leuchtet noch eine rote LED direkt vorne am Mikro.
Am linken Kopfhrer besitzt es noch ein Volumenrad und einen Mute Button den man auch als makro fr was anderes benutzen kann. Beides funktioniert einwandfrei und fhlt sich ganz normal und nicht zu billig an.
Software: Corsair hat die beste Software. Ich besitze Razer, roccat, Gigabyte, Asus etc.
Auch wenn viele ber Jahre ihre Software verbessern ist corsair momentan King. Sie adden Sachen wie nvidia broadcaster sdk in ihre software. Man kann mit Leichtigkeiten andere sdks oder Plug ins benutzen. Sie ist bersichtlich und nicht voll gemllt.
Ich empfehle diese Kopfhrer fr jeden der ein paar geschlossene Kopfhrer sucht mit guten tragekomfort und sehr guter Mikroqualitt. Die Audio Qualitt ist wie gesagt den Preis angemessen und kommt natrlich nicht an offene Kopfhrer wie die PC37x ran im bereich mitten und Hhen, aber fr gaming und normalen Media Konsum reicht es komplett.
They’re comfortable and the flip to mute is a great feature. Make sure to download the app for pc and adjust eq as the default is atrocious. The mic quality is excellent, like almost studio quality.
Downside is that it won’t work on Mac OS at the moment, Corsair hasn’t bothered to fix the issue of it not even working. Bluetooth connection is also not as great in terms of allowing you to use your phone or save settings etc. the dongle is a receiver and that’s it.
All in all I would find myself still going for my wired Sony headphones, the ones that are like 15 on Amazon. They’re richer in sound and more comfortable. A simple plug and play solution.
Would not buy these agai
HOWEVER, I had a problem with intermittent audio crackling/popping and spent almost 1.5 hours trying to fix it. I’m not certain it is fully resolved even now, just occurring at a lower frequency than before. Whatever drivers they’re using for these are not plug and play by any means. If you have the same issues as me, make sure the Windows sound settings do not have the audio quality set to 8 channel/96KHz if you’re not using the Dolby Surround Sound software. I set mine to 2 channel/48KHz and the issue is mostly resolved. Of course, this could be a hardware issue but unlikely IMO as I’ve never had a problem with any other headset.
To add insult to injury, why is the legacy iCUE software listed under the support page for the HS80s instead of the newest version when the legacy version cannot detect them? Took me 5 minutes to realise I had installed the wrong iCUE release.
